"Sauberes und komfortables Hotel in Downtown Atlant"Bewertet von einem Hotels.com Gast am 16. Apr. 2012
Sehr gute Betten, alles pikobello sauber. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

"Days Inn Suites-Smyrna"
It rained the day we checked in and the roof was leaking all over the hotel. There were puddles and buckets of water everywhere. The next day it smelled like rot and mold.

"Dirty, old"
Stayed for one night, so I did not venture into much more then my room at the hotel. However, my room was very dirty. There was a dirty wash cloth hanging over the shower curtain rod. The towels looked old and dank, like they had been sitting there awhile. The TV had a big smear of something across the screen. The batteries in the remote were dead. […] There were random messes and smears elsewhere in the room. Outside of the room, there was only one elevator for five floors and there was something smeared on the walls in there. Another annoyance was the entrance to the hotel. You could only enter from one side of the road. If you were coming from the other direction you have to pass it and make a u-turn. Wont stay there again. Mehr
"Western Inn and Suites~A Total Waste~"
The hotel was under remodeling which we did not know. The staff was rude, especially the housekeeping; which was asked to bring back an ashtray and never returned. The pool was right below our room and they apparently do not have pool hours enforced as people were out there partying, loudly until past 2am. The room was outdated and the wall AC unit […] was not very effective in cooling the room from the July heat. The price was the only good thing about the hotel, and even at that price had we been staying longer we would have wanted a refund for all additional nights. There were gentle-men walking around the hotel with open containers of alcohol, sitting in front of the lobby drinking beer and even when we departed at 4am a man was walking in the lobby with an open beer can. I thought it was not an appropriate sight for my child and would definitely not see this as family-friendly hotel. Additionally the hotel is directly off the interstate, not their fault, but it is a very loud place to stay, if you want to see local attractions it is located within 20 minutes of downtown Atlanta but it is very loud! "WESTERN INN & SUITES"
FOR THE PRICE THE HOTEL WAS OKAY. IT WAS CONVIENTLY LOCATED TO NEARBY EATERIES,GROCERY STORES.ETC. THE OVERALL CLEANIESS OF THE HOTEL WAS SOMEWHAT SUSPECT THOUGH. ROOM SERVICE AS FOR AS GETTING TOWELS WAS THE WORST.WITHSTANDING THE PRICE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
"Poor condition"
Pool could not be used..The airconditioning didn't work in most of the hotel. Dead cockroaches in the eating area. This hotel has potential, but it needs a LOT of help.
"Weird place"
Hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable but the whole place is bizarre. Everything outside the room is broken, in bad shape, deserted and there is a bad odor everywhere. There is no service, the pool is always closed. The breakfast is ridiculous; powdered donuts and bad coffee. But, it is cheap and considering the rooms are okay...

"Western Inn in Smyrna, Ga"
This hotel is aparently in the middle of re-branding, and is new to the Western name. The hotel lobby was extremely hot due to the AC being off - which apparently had something to do with the fire sprinkler installation that was ongoing during my stay. The staff does not have uniforms to identify them as hotel employees - which is not surprising. On […] the evening of 4 June, the night shift desk manager disappeared and could not be located anywhere on the hotel premises. Several guests took it upon themselves to even look behind the desk area to ensure the desk manager hadn't fell iil or met with foul play. There were several guests - myself included - who could not get into their rooms because of a malfunction with the electronic card readers. After more then 30 minutes, we finally called the police, assuming that foul play must be involved.....but they never came while I was there. Two men finally showed up - apparently hotel employees, although they were in street clothes (see uniform note above). One of them was able to use a master key to access the rooms, although there was still one family (two rooms from me) who couldn't get into their room. NOTE: the individual who opened the room was VISIBLY impaired, appearing to be intoxicated or otherwise impaired. His speech was slurred, and he had a hard time understanding those he was speaking with. My family and I left to get a late dinner, and came back to the hotel about 90 minutes later. The family that was locked out was still sitting in the hallway - at this time, several hours after not being able to access their room. They had an infant, and apparently the baby supplies were in the room along with their vehicle keys. From my conversation with them, there had been no offer to get them another room while they waited to access theirs, or an offer to provide diapers either. I had several rooms during this period (family members) who came up for a wedding. My room had half of the lightbulbs physically missing - I Mehr
"It was OK for the price."
We chose this hotel because it was close to the home of a sick family member we went to visit. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Free internet in the room was helpful. In the business center near the lobby, we were also able to print our boarding passes for our flight out of Atlanta. Only problem was the shower went from ice cold to very hot -- […] back and forth. Could not dial it in to a constant temp. Had to get wet when it was warm, step away from the water and soap up, then, when the temp was briefly comfortable, rinse off. Get to the "breakfast" room early if you want anything. By 8am, I got the last of the coffee. There is only coffee, juice and little chocolate, or white sugar donuts that weren't too fresh. Skip it and go to the Waffle House or Starbucks across the street. There are coffee makers in the rooms, also a fridge and microwave. I could tell this used to be a pretty decent property, formerly a Best Western. It could use some refurb. But for the price per night, I'd try it again. Mehr
"The Horrible Stay of 2011 - Rude Employees"
When I checked in that Friday afternoon I was greeted by an older woman who was very kind and pleasant. The experince that I had Saturday morning and night, and then Sunday morning when I checked out was horrible. That Saturday morning me and a family member proceed to get on the elevator to go downstairs to get some toiletries from the front desk. […] When we got on the elevators I pressed 3 for the Lobby, the light cover on the elevator fell and hit me on the head and the alarm went off. I called the from desk from the elevator phone to make them aware that two people were stuck on the elevator, because they were acting like they couldn't here the alarm. I had to call back twice to see when the Fire Dept would come and get us out. Once we got out after 15mins, we went to the front desk, and the employees didn't asked if we were okay, what can we do for you, or do you need anything @ all. Our safety was no concern to them. So we asked for the toiletries and to my surprise they didn't have any but told us that we can get it out the vending machine (such HOSPITALITY). Now that Saturday evening when we came back we found that our room had not been clean, no fresh beds, no clean washcloths or towels, and the trash hadn't even been taken out. So, I called to the front to make them aware, the young lady said she would send someone right up, noone ever came. So we went to the front to ask for clean towels and washcloths, to our surprise they had none at all. The young man said he would bring us up some in the morning, because we needed to checkout early, guess what, no clean towels or washcloths made it to our room that morning. Checked out that morning, no apologies were given for the horrible stay or the incidences that occuried. So my stay @ Western Inn & Suites was a horrible, terrible, and RUDE stay. Mehr

Extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Nice size room. Clean. Extremely nice staff. Great price. Continental breakfast was nothing more than coffee and doughnuts. Other than that, great place to stay.
