Holiday Inn Berkshires - North Adams

das Hotel befindet sich im Zentrum der Stadt. Zur Mass.MOCA und Shops ist es nur ein kurzer Fussweg. Das Hotel ist sauber, macht aber einen etwas abgewohnten Eindruck.

The hotel was conveniently located to the center of North Adams. It was a close walk to some really good restaurants. The Hub for dinner was outstanding (the chocolate cake was sensational). For breakfast, Brewhaha's was perfect. Both a hop skip and a jump from the hotel. We understand the hotel's restaurant is also very good but we did not get a chance […] to eat there. For a two night stay, it was perfect. Everyone at the hotel was very pleasant. The neighboring towns offered plenty to do within a half hour drive. Nothing much going on in No. Adams with the exception of a museum or two. They do have a couple of movie theaters. I think if you were planning a longer trip you might want to head to an area that either had more to do outdoors or more attractions in closer proximity to where you are staying. Mehr

Had to stay in North Adams and was happy the inn was open again and much improved. I hope that it will continue to be a choice for us in the future. Breakfast was very good.

Very comfortable and convenient. Staff were great. Going for another stay in 3 weeks.

Nice hotel, wonderful customer service, and lovely rooms/pool/dining area. Only objection-the rollaway bed was very uncomfortable, which is why I gave this an overall rating of 4 instead of 5. Very convenient location within walking distance of stores, restaurants and MASS MOCA Art Museum. We skied in Jiminy Peak which is about 30 minutes away. Note […] that there is much closer lodging to Jiminy Peak, which is why we may not stay there again if on a ski vacation to that resort. Mehr

Our only complaint was that our king size bed was extremely uncomfortable. The rooms was generously sized, the TV was great for watching Turner Classics and the fridge was convenient. We would stay there again but perhaps ask first if there are rooms with newer beds in them.

We chose this hotel as it is close to my daughter's college MCLA.. Wish breakfast was included; as we didn't find many breakfast places.

Nice hotel where we've stayed before, friendly staff, restaurant is very convenient.

excellent room but water in shower wasn't very hot

Hotel was nicely furnished with comfortable beds, pillows, and linens. Entire town had no water when we arrived but staff attempted to do their best to make our stay comfortable until it was fixed. Excellent hotel for the money, and they even had Patron Tequilla at the bar. The only drawback is that there aren't a lot of good restaurants in North Adams.

The hotel lobby (and room) was very clean and tidy, the staff quite friendly and helpful. For the price, it would be almost impossible to beat. Location is convenient to downtown North Adams, not that there's much there--but we enjoyed dinner and drinks at Taylor's, within walking distance. I used this hotel while visiting my daughter at Williams College - avoiding overpriced or cheaper, horror show hotels in Williamstown. 10 minute drive so pretty convenient for Williams. MOMA is within walking distance and really excellent - worth a visit. Hotel is a bit tired but clean with pretty good facilities and good service. Great views. Nice amenites. Jacuzzi could of been a tad hotter. Sauna was a great addtion( brand new). walls are pretty thin but turn the fan on and it drowned out the neighbors. Decore was dated. the Pro's beat out the con's. Great location near Mt. greylock.

Very clean, comfortable hotel with a great pool and spa area. There is not much in the immediate neighborhood but other than that a very nice place to stay.

While the Holiday Inn Berkshires was clean and comfortable, the hotel, both inside and outside looked stark and unwelcoming. The staff were pleasant and helpful, but the room was no better than other rooms we stayed in at other hotels for a third of the price. We would not recommend this hotel or stay there again.

Conveniently located in walking distance of the Mass MOCA and a short drive to the Clark Museum but there is really nothing else in the town to do.

centrally located it was a nice stay. Staff was very professional and helpful. building may be a bit outdated but overall the convenience and staff made it worthwhile.

This hotel was within walking distance from the Mass MOCA and the downtown area. Downtown was very quiet and there were not many businesses open on the week-end. It was also a short ride from Mt. Greylock which was beautiful. This is a comfortable affordable hotel for a relaxing week-end away.

The building needs a lot of work and the surrounding area is marginal at best.

maybe, a parking garage that would accomodate any car bigger than a compact car. my choice of vehicle to drive is a pick-up truck, ie: ford f-250. it takes up a bit more than one space. even when parked on the side spots.and my wife's smaller pick-up is a tight fit in your current lot. also, maybe a clearer signage on rt.2/ eastbound, to give the driver […] a better warning to take the exit before the bridge. the american map page is unclear that there is a bridge to cross. and my gps does not even show the bridge. a bit confusing. otherwise, the building is big enough to see as you get close to it. Hotel was old and dirty, I don't know how they keep their accreditation. Restaurant was so understaffed they told us it would be a thirty minute wait before the waitress could even take our order. Would never stay there again.

I chose to stay in this hotel because it was the only one in the general Berkshires area that did not require a two-night stay and that was reasonably priced. The accomodations were bare-boned but entirely adequate. The staff was friendly and willing to extend my checkout time by one hour so that I didn't have to rush through my breakfast on the morning […] that I left. Mehr

Holiday Inn experience and met our expectations for the area. The hotel is showing its age but is clean and presentable. I found the desk staff to be especially helpful and professional which is always a plus. We felt that we received our money's worth.
