Econo Lodge Manchester - Manchester

Not that great of a place. Really only liked the price. Room was relatively dirty, the people were sketchy and the neighborhood was slightly scary. It was pretty convenient to the airport, however.

Cheapest hotel in downtown Manchester. It isn't in the nicest part of town, but it felt mostly safe. The rooms were standard, clean and well worth the discount hotel rate.

Not exactly a luxury hotel, but that wasn't what I was looking for. I just stayed there for a night before a flight - comfortable enough and clean. No frills, but if you just want a place to sleep, this is perfect.

The Econolodge was the most inexpensive accomodations I could find in Manchester. I was not thrilled with the location and the neighborhood; a little scarey. The staff were receptive and helpful. I requested a smoking room and it was very obvious by the number of burn holes in the bedspread and sheets, that this was a smoking room! loud and allot of drunks going in and out it seemed like a hang out for the abnotious very unconfortable and didnt feel very safe left a day early because of unconfortable atmosphere

A bit pricey, but I had to reserve @ last minute, as I was traveling due to a passing in the family... convenient for coming in after dark from the airport... used a Garmin to find it, but it was easy... very couteous staff... only one night, but it was a very good stay...

Non Smoking rooms reek of smokers. Other guest complained of same thing as we were chevking in. Would have gone somewhere else if area wasn't sold out. Do not stay here.

The hotel was extremely disgusting the guy at the front desk was so rude and yelling at me on the phone I don't recommend it to anyone and I will never stay there again I felt so gross I had to leave and find another hotel

We returned from a Josh Groban concert at 11:30 pm - my daughter and I were about to enter the lobby. There were two street hookers (dressed the part as well) standing there with a creepy man -- the hotel desk clerk, as far as we could tell - was the pimp. We were scared to death. I should have known when I checked in at 1:30 am in the morining and the people in front of me checking in did not have luggage that I should turn around and go to another Hotel. The bathroon was filthy dirty - dirt ring around the tub, hair in the bathtub, dirty floor and walls in the bathroom. Curtins in the bedroom area were hanging from the rods […] and I had to reattach them. The ceiling tiles were missing. The bathroom sink faucet was not attached and was falling from the sink. Best part when I complained about the room, I was told they could not do anything about it. YIKES! Mehr

This hotel is a former hospital or medical center. Totally creepy. We looked at the room and left.

It was cheap, but needed some serious cleaning and up keep, bathroom door was broke. Found dirty towels on floor behind the door.

This hotel (if you want to call it that) is more of a homeless shelter than a hotel. One slow elevator, mattress was torn up, place smelled awful, A/C didnt work and check-out time is at 11 and housekeeping came barging in our room at 945 without even knocking! Place is a dive, wouldn't let my dog stay there!

Essentially you are getting what you pay for. Fixtures/furniture are very tired/outdated but overall was clean. Continental breakfast was limited to prepackaged muffins/donuts, coffee and juice. Very convenient for on/off highway and there are various fast food/chain places to eat nearby.

Somewhat older, brick building - not what I'm used to seeing. Relatively clean. Spotty and slow internet, and a centipede in the sink in the morning. Apparently they come up through the drains sometimes, so not much the proprietor can do about that. Other than that, decent, clean, with polite & courteous service, and a good location.

The rooms are very basic, but they are a decent size. Some of the halls smelled like smoke, and the continental breakfast was very simple.

Stayed 3 nights, 1'st room had plugged toilet, given another room when maintenence (the next day) couldn't fix it. Given new room, toilet flushed, but imagine my surprise when shower failed to spray more than a trickle.

this is in my opion a dirty Hotel over all, go look for your self.

cigaret burns in sheet not vacumed room hot stuffy. this place is very nasty

Deffinately a no frills hotel - if you want economy this is the place to stay.

Overall it was an OK hotel to stay at...but as soon as you walk in the entire hotel was VERY HOT and STUFFY. It was almost unbearable. The rooms werent much better.

Basic hotel for a basic price... nothing wrong with the room, but I wouldn't have felt comfortable here alone as a woman; glad I wasn't alone. "Breakfast" was basic and by 9am there wasn't much left - a packaged coffee cake and an English muffin, coffee...

it was a friendly, fast check-in & out, room was nice and clean, quiet place.

For the price (among the lowest in the Manchester, NH area) this hotel/motel offers decent value. Nothing fancy for sure, but for basic accommodations close to dowtown it fits the bill. Interesting note for preservation buffs: this Econo Lodge is in a former industrial building converted to hotel use.

I travel a lot, and this place was not up to par. The room was extremely small, and needed some TLC. ceiling tiles were stained. The air conditioner was powered by an extension cord from the other side of the room, as the correct location for the outlet had been blanked out. Not enough outlets in the room, the alarm clock was at the other end from the […] bed. At least it was a short distance. They claimed a coninental breakfast. That was a joke. No milk for cereal, stale english muffins was the only bread choice and no orange juice. But for the price, I guess I should have known better. Mehr

Clearly this is not a luxury hotel, but for the price, and for a short stay- couldn't beat it. I read reviews that warned of an unsafe, sleazy, dirty hotel, and it wasn't the case. The room was clean though run down, the staff was accommodating and it was easy to get on the highway. If you are on a budget, this place is just fine.

At check-in, the clerk was a little slow to help me...and I was the only one in the lobby. Although the lobby, hallways were clean and well kept, my room was not. I did have a smoking room, and the lampshade over the table clearly had not been cleaned in quite a while, and there were small holes and a couple of tears in the curtins. The TV was crap, the help barely spoke English, the vending machine prices were ridiculous, the bed was lopsided. Basically this place sucks...

I realize that we did not pay for The Hilton we paid for what we got. However, we did not expect to get a remodeled factory. I mean, you could tell on the outside it was a remodeled factory which was ok but when we got inside it looked like a remodeled factory also. The floors were all warped, there was no cushion to the rugs, the rooms were very dark […] with no air and the rooms were very small. The staff people were very unfriendly and could barely speak English. After one night there I feel it was not worth even the "little" money we paid. The "continental" breakfast is such a farce. Do you even have people who go to these hotels and look at where these continental breakfasts are? This one was in a knook so small it could only hold 5-6 people at a time - and 3 of them had to be sitting down at the 2 tables in the room. This continental breakfast (someday I am going to look up the real meaning of continental breakfast) consisted of Kelloggs cereals in those little boxes, old, hard bagles and bread. And why does it have to be from 7am to 10am? Some people are on vacation and like to sleep in late and not get up till later but miss out on their "free" breakfast because this gets served so early in the morning. Thank God this hotel was down the street from a Dunkin Donuts. I will say that it is in the middle of downtown Manchester andif you want to travel from far away and go to a game of the local sport team this hotel is right down the street from the stadium. Mehr

The hotel was in a fairly convenient location for me and the price was very attractive. Other than that it is not a very good hotel. It is laid out in an odd way. The room configuration was very odd. You could tell it was an inexpensive hotel by the clientele. The rooms were not that clean or attractive. You get what you pay for at this place. It's an old mill turned into a hotel. It was ok for 1 night. When it says breakfast included, it means toast and dry cereal

The rooms had dirty stains in the bathroom and other places. I did not feel comfortable in the room wondering about the cleanliness.
