This was my second stay. Both stays have been pleasant. The staff were very helpful in helping me to manuever around construction in other areas of the city. The bed was comfortable, noise was minimal. I'd stay again.

We asked for a nonsmoking room (which are located in the second & third floor); however it is very disappointed that the lobby area, the breakfast are and the hallways were smelly; because they allow smoking in the first floor.

We spent a night at the Ramada due to a 12 hour layover. They picked us up at the airport within 15 minutes of us calling them and check in was smooth. The room was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. They had transportation for us in the morning to the airport which got us to the airport with plenty of time to spare. The reviews on this one are accurate. For the price hotels.com quotes, it's a terrific value. I've stayed in places twice as expensive and not done as well. Very handy to the airport, great free transfers to airport, very friendly staff. Free parking and free continental breakfast were appreciated. Will stayhere again.

Hotel was ok. Since it was already cheap, I didn't expect anything special, just needed a hotel that allowed me to keep my car parked for the duration of my trip. The hotel's website claimed they provide free parking (even those leaving their car for vacation). As usual, I made a call to the front desk to make sure the free parking is legit. I gave […] him the details of my trip (gone for 3 weeks) and he said it's fine, it's FREE. When I arrived, I mentioned to the front desk that I'm leaving my car in the lot for 3 weeks. They said they're charging me on a weekly basis, even though I mentioned my previous phone conversation. I ended up paying the parking fee since I've already booked and traveled 3 hours (didn't want to drive around looking for a better hotel). Mehr

If you need a cheap hotel that is clean and comfortable with shuttle service to DFW, this is a great pic.

I recently stayed at the Ramada to celebrate an early Valentine's Day with my girlfriend and I loved the service. The people were very friendly, the room service was great and I had an overall great experience. I would very much recommend anyone to stay there.

Not bad for an overnight stay if you are flying in late at night. It's close to the airport. It is a cheap hotel, so you do get what you pay for. Frustrating that staff is slow to check you in at midnight and then you get a room that the a/c doesn't work and have to go back down and change rooms. Hotel was very good. Staff were very cooperative. Beds were very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. Except a Wendy's no fast food chains close by. There is a gas station just outside, which is good.

Needed a place to crash for a short stay between a PM flight and early morning flight. The condition was typical of Ramada's today -- a bit worn, but adequate. The staff was friendly and helpful. The corridors had an old smoky smell common in old hotels. The room was substantial in size, clean, no peeling/cracking paint. The bathroom very clean and […] functional. I found the bed very comfortable. I would have preferred more blankets, but it was unusually cold in Texas that night. The heat worked fine though. NOTE AIRPORT SHUTTLE runs on a fixed ~hourly schedule and is shared by several hotels. So, the shuttle can get quite crowded. But it is free and fairly quick. Mehr

It was a pleasant stay. The shuttle from the airport was prompt, and the people at the front desk were courteous. My only complaint is that there were no vending machines, no room service...no way to get anything to eat or drink. I had to leave several times (and I don't like leaving hotels for food), and right before I checked out, I noticed a poorly […] marked room in the corner of the lobby with some kind of snacks for sale. It was very difficult to notice. I will stay here again and would recommend it to others, but next time I'll crawl in the poorly located snack area and get something to eat. Mehr

Close enough to the airport with free shuttle service. The breakfast was better I was expected (waffles, pastries, bagels and some other slice breads, juices, milk. Coffee all day and a restaurant 24hs across street.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The only problem that I had with the room was that I had dirty towels that were turned over on the rack like no-one ever used them. That was nasty. But everything else was good.

The Ramada DFW Airport North in Irving, TX . The building is pretty old, worn, with dated colors and wall paper in the hallways but the room was different story. Some areas of the floors didn’t seem totally level and the ceiling was oddly low in the hallways, just above door height but there are some signs and smoke detectors that protrude down from […] the office type drop ceiling that could be a hazard for tall people. The first floor smelled like cigarette smoke but maybe someone in a room close to the only elevator might have been smoking. I was on the second floor and it did not smell like smoke in the hall or the room. I didn’t see any fire sprinklers in the halls or rooms maybe cuz it’s an older property. We were originally booked for a room across the street at another hotel but we changed because of the cheaper rate even though it had a lower review rating. I thought the hotel room was actually pretty nice. The room was recently updated a couple of years ago with new modern looking furniture, decent beds, new carpet, drapes, and counters. The TV, room phone, and clock radio looked a bit dated but at the TV (only thing we used) worked fine. The bathroom was small with a sink on the outside, but it was clean and the ventilation fan worked great. The toilet was old school big and was kind of slow in flushing. We took a queen room cuz we read reviews that queen rooms came with kitchenettes. Our kitchen area had cabinets, marble counters, one burner, wet bar type sink, microwave, cool mini coffee maker, and mini fridge. All very clean. The bed was comfortable and newer looking with newer good quality type bedding. I always do a bed bug check in the seams of the bed. I saw NO evidence of current or past bug problems. There is a hair drier, iron, and ironing board in the room. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful. I stay here about once a year for a local convention and it's always a great stay. The rooms are clean and my bathroom had even been recently updated. The bed was very comfortable bed and the wifi is free, if a bit slow. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the continental breakfast is very carb heavy, but actually quite good (and free!) I have to say that this Ramada Inn was very relaxing to have stayed in during our fun, tiring weekend. All staff members were curteous and friendly. Room was very clean and presentable. I will definitely stay here next year during Nascar weekend.

We had a good experience. The shuttle picked us up after a short wait at 11 PM. The room was big and clean. The continental breakfast was good, i had a second serving of the Belgian Waffles. This is a good Hotel at a great price.

They rooms were nice and comfortable but the rest of the hotel is not so great. It is in much need of some repairs and does not seem to be kept up very well. The elevator is sketch as well. I guess you get what you pay for.

The bed was comfortable. The location was right off of the highway, in a quiet business-type neighborhood. Convenience store right across the street and a Dennys. Room was a little dirty and dusty. We did see a couple of bugs in the bathroom. Good value for a one night airport stay.

All the airport hotels are lumped together on either side of the highway, so it is no more or less convenient than any other hotel/motel in Irving. The receptionist was extremely nice, and arranged our 3:35am shuttle to the airport for the morning. The room was very comfortable, and clean. The only drawbacks are there is only a Dennys nearby if you […] don't have a car, and the shuttle took ages to arrive, in spite of having been told 20 mins, then told again 5-7mins, it basically took almost an hour to arrive after our call, but that is because the shuttle has to go to about 6 different hotels in the group so the hotel itself has no control over how long to pick you up. We booked two nights at this hotel. One as we were flying out of Dallas and one on our return, with shuttle service to and from DFW airport. The first night there, our TV didn't work so we were moved to another room. The air conditioner didn't work. It was 110 degrees outside and 90 degrees in the room and after 10 pm so we just slept on top of the […] sheets. Overall, the room had a bad smell, was dingy and not very clean. When we checked out, we were told to call the desk and a shuttle would be sent to pick us up at the airport on our return (two weeks later). We were given a card with the front desk number and the manager's cell phone number. Two weeks later, our plane landed at 10 pm and we called the front desk repeatedly from 10 - 10:35 pm. There was no answer. We tried calling the manager's cell phone and got a message that the number was not accepting calls. Desperate to get transportation to the hotel, we gave up and started looking for another way to the hotel. We arrived at the hotel just before 11 pm. There were two people at the desk. The 'in charge' person was the one who gave us the phone numbers two weeks earlier and told us to call when we arrived at DFW airport. She told us she was too busy to answer the phone. (Come on, it was 10:30 pm.) She had no further explanation for not answering the phone, no apology for leaving us stranded at the airport and no sympathy at all for the situation. The next morning a gentleman who was at the front desk when we arrived, apologized and said she quit answering the phone about 9 pm because one of the airlines was looking for accommodations for stranded passengers. We will never stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone. Mehr

It was a nice hotel. The day I was there it was 108 F degrees. The public areas were not comfortable to stay in and relax. The elevator was very hot close to being a sauna, and the ice machine located in the stairwell was like walking into a blast furnace. My husband stayed overnight for a flight out the next morning, someone from the adjoining room tried to force open the door at 4am. Front desk not concerned, also refused to give a copy of receipt claiming incorrect credit card. This was not the case according to the online confirmation, so why refuse receipt? Also sadly left our vehicle on site during […] trip we will see how much damage when he returns later in week. Warning do not stay at this hotel !!! Mehr

Although we had the air conditioning on the coldest setting, it didn't cool as it should have. We were kept awake by teens upstairs in the room above us until 3:30 a.m., even after we had called the front desk to report it much earlier. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again! Very disappointed!!!

It is ok for a quick stay if you have to be at DFW Airport next morning. They airport pickup service is alright but their airport drop off service is great. Breakfast is decent and has all the basics, they even have a waffle maker! Overall: Regular Downside: If arriving at DFW and staying the night at the Ramada Inn, the only hotel not listed in the […] "airport hotel dailing phone for being picked up" is the Ramada Inn. So be sure to have their number to call them from your own phone in order to inform them you have arrived and be picked up. Mehr

Overall, not a bad deal for the price. Free breakfast. Close to a major highway. From a value perspective, you can't go wrong

This place is kinda run down. Phone doesn't work. Took an hour to get a shuttle from DFW to hotel. Another hour to check in... With a reservation. Definitely not worth the price.

Stayed here for a business trip, hotel was conveniently located near DFW Airport and had a kitchenette which was an added bonus. Room was small but perfect for one. Limited dining amenities within walking distance and older hotel but staff were friendly and great value for the price if you're not looking for the 'white glove experience,'.

We were going to Cozumel and needed a place to lay over. They provided the shuttle and breakfast which was as advertised.

It was a pretty clean hotel with a very good location; however, the cleaning ladies come knocking on your door at the crack of dawn so be sure you put your "Do Not Disturb" sign up. The walls were paper thin, which bothered us the 1st night, but the 2nd night we were too tired to care & passed right out. It was overall a good hotel for the money, but […] what really bothered us is that we got back super late from the NASCAR race the 2nd night and our key wasn't working. We went to the front desk & the man working did not check any ID or anything but just asked what room we were in and gave us a key..... not safe by any means! The hot water went out. The manager said they had ordered a part, but it would not be in until after 10am. We had to leave before that time. We left needing a shower. :(
