Lonsdale Quay Hotel - North Vancouver

Die Sauberkeit des Bads ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig - es war mit schwarzen Haaren übersäht (sogar zwischen den Handtüchern)! In insgesamt vier Zimmern war ein nervtötender Brummton warzunehmen; wir haben schließlich mit Ohrenstöpsel geschlafen! Vancouver hat wirklich sehr viel bessere Hotels zu bieten!

Gutes Hotel, wenn man nur darin übernachten will und auf Schnickschnack verzichten kann. Zimmer war gross und sauber, Bad nicht auf allerneuestem Stand aber auch sehr sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Frühstück wird nicht angeboten, das kann man aber in einem der zahlreichen Coffee Shops einnehmen. Das Hotel liegt nicht in der Stadtmitte von […] Vancouver, ist dadurch aber ruhig und man hat einen schönen Blick auf die Skyline. Die Lage in North Vancouver war trotzdem praktisch. Wenn man will, kann man mit dem Seabus direkt nach Downtown rüberfahren oder mit dem Mietwagen über die Lion´s Bridge - da kann es in der Rush Hour auch mal Stau geben. Alles in allem können wir das Hotel weiterempfehlen und würden auch wieder dort buchen. Mehr

This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as I was close to all amenities and in my old neighborhood. The hotel has a quiet classiness. I would have preferred to be looking over the water, but it was close enough to hear the gulls and smell the ocean. The service was excellent and it was great to be right there at the Seabus, as i was attending a course in Vancouver […] and used public transit. I would highly recommend this hotel. Mehr

Comfortable in every way

A great location, to access Downtwon Vancouver without the hassles of driving and parking. The Sea/Sky train links work well.

Great hotel, right by the seabus terminal and the quay. Stayed one night only to watch the Canucks and it was perfect!

This was a perfect choice for my week long stay in North Vancouver. Few minutes away from the Sea Bus terminal. Plenty of food choices in the Quay marketplace downstairs. Very comfortable bed and the wireless internet worked great (including streaming of Netflix). Stayed in a Jr. suite so enjoyed the extra space with the sofa and liked the ice cold, […] filtered water that was available in the room. Mehr

The Good: - Proximity to Seabus; across the water to downtown in less than 15 minutes. - Bed was reasonably comfortable -Price The Bad: - Rooms/hotel in need of significant attention (dingy, not well lit, no real amenities, cracked grout, worn carpet, damage to bathroom ceiling) - Front Desk staff were not particularly welcoming - Housekeeping was […] knocking on the door by/before 9:00 a.m. - Noisy (hallways, overhead and outside) - "View" of the ocean turned out to be of the dock slip, tug boats and ship building facility next door; no city view at all. tried to charge facilities fee; added parking charge in their building. maids came in to room announced after banging on door enough to take the paint off refused to redo hotels .com rate and charged extraa for 2 nd day no restaurant facility

Hotel in a great location, staff very helpful and polite. Excellent room with a great view, we ended upgrading to a junior suite as we had been assigned a ground level room that opened on to street level where we had people walking past our window! Great value for money, nice that the market was just below the hotel with great places to eat and shop. […] Parking $10 per night but well worth it. Would recommend this hotel for sure. Mehr

Nice location for a hotel, if you can find it! There id no visible signage outside, and we drove around for 10 minutes looking for an entrance. Eventually we had to ask a friendly cab driver who pointed out the way. We (the wife and I) were ready to settle in when the noises of the couples on each side of our rooms "making love" were so loud, we burst […] out laughing. I guess it's to be expected on a valentines weekend. This carried on until 1:30 am, when the room next to us decided to crank up their music, forcing us to call the front desk and complain. We figured the "view" would make up for this, but sadly, the only view we had was of the next building over. However, I must say the room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Mehr

it's very close to the bay, vancouver port and has an excellent view, very clean hotel!

We made a late decision to come into Vancouver north and contacted hotels.com with a request for a hotel in North Vancouver. We are glad we used the Lonesdale Quai Hotel because of its great location and very helpfull staff

I spend one night in the Quay Hotel and the expirience was great, very clean and the service at the fron desk was very profesional, I am looking forward to go back again.

The Location of the Hotel and Quality of my room and the courteous staff at the rate I paid, was excellent value. I will be staying here again in the future.

Good value, quiet, clean and confortable

Best hotel on the North Shore.The location can't be beat and the staff is very friendly. It is right above the Lonsdale Quay Market full of local vendors, savory foods and amazing Shiatsu massage service on the 2nd Floor. Theaters are right across the street just a stone's throw away. Getting to downtown Vancouver could not be easier. It is a seabus […] and voila', you are there. The views are magical, the rooms are nicely appointed. Not super fancy, but clean, fresh and updated. Clean, quiet, comfortable, convenient to North and West Vancouver. Good views of Burrard Inlet and downtown Vancouver. Access to Lonsdale Quay a bonus.

Very Comfortable

Great location with convenient access from Sea Bus terminal. Lonsdale market is immediately beneath the hotel, convenient to access several food kiosks or fresh fruit market. Room has bar fridge and microwave. Nice room decor, although countertops were not as clean as they should be ( Lysol wipes helped! )

I was very disappointed they didn't have HD programming in the rooms, especially the sports channels.

Nice average hotel. Bathroom did not have a vent fan (bad design)!

Very convenient location for travel into Vancouver. Close to all amenities(store,Pharmacy,Liquor store, Movie Theatre,Dinning) Good Rates.

the people and hotel were very helpful and friendly when sunny you see the sunrise from your room which overlooks a high end marina and working ship yard which is very quiet and clean downstairs is lonsdale quay with abundance of eateries with craft stores and a whole array of very high end restaurants around you and the convenient sea bus which takes […] you in to vancouver to all the life down there , overall a pleasant stay . i would recommend to anyone. We parked the car and rode the Sea Bus to Downtown and walked everywhere Convenient to be above shopping and restaurants at the Quay It was the weekend of Grey Cup CFL champion ship game so nice to stay out of the heart of Downtown

Room found to be clean and updated. Water leak coming from under bath tub when shower running. (Reported for maintenance). Three good restaurants in the complex, as well as a food court. Underground parking away from inclement weather. Close proximity to industrial site and a train provided a bit of noise early - mid evening, plus somewhat noisy heating […] unit in the room at night. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Entire facility very clean. Facility very conveniently close to public transit and a passenger only harbour ferry to Metro Vancouver. This is a bonus during heavy traffic, and surrounding high parking lot costs. Mehr

Excelent staff, Has a great view of downtown, is located in a really great locality and is very accessible via Highway 1.

Clean, quiet and a comfortable amount of room space. Bed terribly uncomfortable. Good location.
