I stayed at this Country Inn & Suites because the rooms at the hotel where a convention I was attending were all taken. The drive was quick and easy (which was marvelous because I am not familiar with the area). The staff was extremely nice and helpful when my computer did not want to connect to their internet. The only comment I would make was that […] when you enter the room I was staying in, you could tell it was once a smoking room. The smell was not very strong, but it was noticeable. Otherwise everything was perfect. I would gladly be willing to stay here again. Mehr

Nice place to stay and convenient location close to the Alliance Energy Center. Very reasonable rates and pleasant staff.

the AC unit in my hotel room literally got ice on it. It would generate cold air ,but it would not blow the cold air out into the room. The room was muggy except for withing a 6" radius of the AC unit. The hotel said they were booked, so they could not change my room. I had to open the window and turn on the small fan they let me borrow until the AC […] Unit thawed out, then it would partially work until it froze up again. Upon checking out there was no AC by the front desk. It was only in the upper 70s, but it was muggy. The oatmeal raisin cookies were awesome. The continental breakfast left something to be desired if you are one who eats lean protein for breakfast. Workers at the hotel were pleasant and the hotel was clean. It was also in a very safe area. We had a wonderful stay... the only problem was the directions we received from mapquest on how to find the hotel.

I quess in all it was a very nice stay. We did have one issue and that was my son found a small fishing hook under one of the pillows in his bed. I put it in a plastic bag and gave it to the front desk when we checked out.

Overall this went well, except for one thing. I decided to stay for two nights and had to do a separate booking for it; neither hotels.com nor Country Inn & Suites could combine the two. I told the hotel before I arrived and when I arrived that I Was staying two nights and was told that I would be in the same room. However, when I came back onthe Saturday, […] they had tried to give the room away and people had been in the room before they realized someone was still there. Mehr

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We were so glad to be able to bring our furkid (dog). The room was always taken care of and the breakfasts were always good with a good selection to choose from cereal eggs waffles fruit ect. the hotel was easy to get to, Going to see family and the sites. It made our stay very enjoyable. We would stay here again […] we when we come back . Mehr

This hotel has a wonderful location, a small piece of idyllic paradise near everything that matters in Madison. We totally enjoyed our stay. Room, beds, swimming pool, gym, promenades by the pool, the lake, breakfast, and service. I recommend it truly. A great choice at a very reasonable price.

My husband and I would most definately stay here again. The rooms were spacious and clean, the bed were comfy, and the pool was very appropriate for our kids. The whirlpool had wonderful high powered jets, which I LOVED! The continental breakfast was very convenient, delicious, and had a huge selection of breakfast choices, both for the healthy eater, […] and the "less-healthy" eater! All in all, the stay was great, and the price was well worth it for all that it provided. I loved the location...close to Red Robin and Buffalo Wild Wings...just off the beltline, and close to shopping. Mehr

Convenient location for our needs. Appreciated the green concern but it took hours to cool off room and instructions for the cooling system were not obivious. I had to call to get them. Rooms were clean and hotel staff pleasant

if you do not want to stay in downtown Madison, this is an OK place to stay at a reasonble price, quiet, and close to the major roads

Great location near highway and stores...has starbucks and caribou coffee across the street. Quick access to expressway for travel to other areas around Madison. Hotel staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Rooms were clean though had a moderate to heavy smell of smoke even though it is non-smoking facility. The hotel was nice, clean and organized. Breakfast was good too, and the jacuzzi/pool was great, my only complaint was that it was impossible to get a taxi out there. Probably just because it was Halloween though.

The property and service were outstanding...It was a pleasure to stay there! The bed was great - we had a suite and it was really nice. We will definately look forward to staying there in the future.
