Epic failure in every regard! Start to Finish.

Please, please don't stay here. You get what you pay for but you don't deserve to pay for this. For one they don't offer the things they say they do; there is NO internet! There is no SAUNA! There is no nonsmoking rooms! There are no towels! A maid was cleaning at two am that awoke me (weird, right?!?), the owners were bbqing right on site (which is […] fine), but they ignored us when our key wouldn't work until after their dinner. I had to request a key 8 times because they wouldn't work. Terrible.... terrible! Dirty dirty. Please listen to these reviews! PLEASE!! Mehr

I was not impressed at all with this hotel or any of there services or staff. I felt unsafe because of the surroundings and neighborhood. Our room smelled of smoke and it was a non-smoking room, we had very few towels, and the windows were all bent out of heck like they had been broken into. We went to the hottub where there were no towels and we called […] and asked for some that we inconveniently had to go get in the cold ourselves, the breakfast was alright but the staff did not want to help us at all and seemed very irritated when we asked for more of the milk and syrup to be refilled. When they did go to refill it they sat in the back and talked with the other staff members and took there time. Luckily my husband and I just had a fun weekend that we overlooked our hotel stay. The room was okay, but the street noise outside was so loud I thought it was pouring rain outside and there was so much light coming in above and below the curtains that I kept thinking it was morning already.

Arrived at the room and found no hot water in the shower, followed up with fridge that did not work. Went to the indoor pool and found it overflowing with water onto the floors with a hose in it. Dirty pool area and chairs. Internet was down for 7 days (we were there 4). Needs allot of work and probably a new manager.

good: close to TRAX train, close to I-15, easy to find, low price, nice warm indoor pool bad: wifi broken, not walking distance to downtown, not much to do in the neighborhood

This hotel was dirty, bad odors. Bathroom walls had writing on them and was very dirty. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

The only good thing about this hotel was the convenience to the location we needed. The rooms were not clean. There was trash in the stairwells. The door did not lock on the hotel room. We had several rooms reserved, some of the non-smoking rooms still smelled smoky. The pool was not heated. I would NOT recommend this hotel as place.

This was the second of many motels we have stayed in and this room has to be the worst one we have ever stayed in of the Days inn chain. We stayed in one other room and it had the same lumpy bed in it as this one had. We are disabled and this room caused problems with our backs. I showed up and checked in at the same time as my friend. They gave us both the wrong type of room at first, once we had hat fixed we went to my room to find the door open and some one else aready staying there. Went and got a new room, only to find out that the same thing happened to my friend. So in the process of checking in they not only couldn't […] get the reservation right, They couldn't keep track of who is in which room . I will not go there again. Mehr

I'd been staying at the hellish nightmare a few blocks away called Intown Suites. The Days Inn is not that much more expensive than an extended stay hotel if you think about the taxes and all the extra fees tacked on. I loved the location - 3300 south is very practical if you're by foot or in a car. It's not a pretty neighborhood, but it isn't criminal; […] just industrial. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking, near public transit, interstate, major roads with restaurants. ATM inside; indoor pool; computer in lobby works but it's also Wifi so if the wireless internet isn't working, neither is the lobby computer. I just wish my room had been made up even once during that week. Mehr

I was worried about this hotel after reading online review for good reason but I could not find a room anywhere near the convention I was attending so decided I would have to take a smoking room even tho I am a non-smoker. The first impression was of a run down motel in a bad neighborhood in major need of painting and major cleaning. But the plus is […] that everything worked in the room, microwave, fridge, tv, coffee maker, shower, etc. and there were no bedbugs so I just made the best of it and ignored the stained furniture and carpet. I did not eat the breakfast, you know the kind, high carb junk food, the waffle thing, sweet rolls, etc. but even though I could not recommend it at least it was tolerable for three nights. Mehr

Absolutely wins a place in the top three of the worst places I have ever stayed. Filthy and incredible horrific customer service. It is pretty obvious that the operators do not care about their customers at all.

I selected this hotel because of the low cost and good location in relation to the Salt Palace. So I was prepared to tolerate sub-par conditions like cigarette smoke coming in through the bathroom vent. "Low cost" wasn't worth it, however. Wifi wasn't working, and the hotel staff was unable to fix it during my 3-day stay. It ended up costing me $40+ […] extra in data roaming fee on my blackberry, and that is when I completely restricted the use of internet to bare minimum completely necessary. I could have just stayed at a slightly nicer hotel with wifi for $20/night extra. Mehr

I am disappointed with this Hotel. Their Non-Smoking Rooms were full of smoke smell. They have wireless internet service, but it did not work even once. Everybody was in the lobby always complaining. I had to go Mc. Donald to read my emails. Forget about their free breakfast, after 8.AM in the mornings, you are lucky if there is any coffee. The overall […] quality of this hotel is like a ½ star. The pool was dirty. There was no soap or shampoo in the room. There was no soap or towels in the pool restrooms. It is located close to the interstate and restraunts.

HORRIFIC, DIRTY, DISGUSTING!!!! Refused to stay.

A group of 8 of us stayed at this hotel. We thought that Days Inns were generally inexpensive but clean and comfortable. This one had a slightly seedy air about it. The young woman working the desk when we checked in, while ultimately helpful with problems we encountered, appeared to be working under protest. A pile of trash on the landing of the staircase […] leading to the second floor remained there during the time of our stay. The refrigerator in our room didn't work. Mehr

Very ran down, not in good area. Must have weekly or monthly rates available because some very shady appearing people seem to live there. Garbage all over grounds, rooms not clean, and serious concern for safety staying there. I will never consider a Days Inn again.

Was not at all impressed with this hotel. We had booked a total of 4 rooms and requested to be close together. All the rooms were to be nonsmoking. One room reeked of smoke and we had to change rooms. We ended up being scattered all of over the hotel. The pillows were small and flat. Two rooms had no towels and when we inquired about it they said they […] were out of towels. The pool had no attendant so we were running around for towels. Stayed here for four nights on business. Chose this location based on price and not too many complaints. I am a believer that in general you get what you pay for and it did live up to my expectations. Had to move rooms due the the door not closing all the way and the noise from the freeway. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Next room […] was fine, recently redone with new counter tops, sink, toilet, shower, tile floor & furniture, already a bit beat but not too bad for the price. Never took advantage of the amenities, just slept and showered there. The only real complaints I would have is that some of the towels were badly stained, looked like some one used them to work on their car and should have used as rags and the location is right next to Highway 15, thus the hum of traffic in the early morning or early evening was noticeable but it did not bother me too much. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Salt Lake it is a good option for the price. I would not stay here with my family nor would I want to spend any more time in the room than necessary. Good place to sleep and shower for the money. Mehr

The staff was friendly but the shuttle service was horrible and almost made us miss our flight. Other than that the location is good and the continential breakfast was great.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in

The rooms were small, very old, gross, not clean, and the hot tub and pool were closed down by the health department! We ended up going home and demanding our money back.

If you're looking for a cheap motel-style room this may fit the bill. The room had been cleaned well, but there were stains on everything. The outdoor hallway was poorly lit and dirty and there was a lot of foot traffic and drunk people around. I asked the receptionist to call me a cab in the morning and she tild me to do it myself and offered no phone […] numbers- explaining that there was a phone book in the room. The hotel was close to a light rail station to get downtown easily but the surroundings were not very safe or pedestrian friendly. Mehr
