Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Die Vorzüge des Hotels sind eindeutig: 1.) Die ausgezeichnete Lage für Reisende die möglichst schnell (ca. 200 m zu Fuß) vom Hotel bis zu Check-In Schalter kommen möchten. Wegen der Kürze des Weges geht das sogar zu Fuß bei Regen ohne Schirm! 2.) Die unmittelbare Nähe (ca. 250 m) zum LightRail Link zwischen Flughafen und Seattle Downtown, wobei die Tageskarte ca. 5$ kostet. Fahrtzeit ca. 35 Minuten. Ansonsten war das Hotel älter in der Ausstattung (ungefähr 70er Jahre Bauzeit) mit einigen Upgrades (z.B. zwei neue Flachbildschirme). Das Standard-Zimmer (Bad, Schlafzimmer, Auftenhaltsraum) war sauber. Die Lounch und der Frühstücksbereich des Hotels gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hingegen nur Durchschnitt, so daß man eher in Seattle Downtown frühstücken möchte. Der sehr Nahe gelegene Flughafen bietet diesbezüglich auch nur wenig an. Einzige Kritikpunkte meines Zimmers auf der Seite zum Flughafen war der laute Straßenverkehr des 'Internationl Boulevard' for dem Hotel (der Fluglärm hingegen war gut erträglich). Und die Klimaanlage, welche in Seattle aber selten nötig wäre, wenn man das Fenster öffenen könnte. Das ging zwar mechanisch problemlos, aber bei dem Straßenverkehr-Krach ... Ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen. In der Summe war es rund.

schönes saubers Zimmer im Zentrum von Bellevue. Zimmerausstattung ist schon sehr angenehm und ausreichend (2 x Fernseher, Internet, Kingsize-Bett), außerdem sehr sauber. Sehr sehr gute Lage, schnelle Anbindung zur I-405, 2 min ins Zentrum von Bellevue, 20 min nach Seattle. Perfekt für 2-5 Tage Städtetrip für die Region im Nordwestens der USA

Anfangs haben mich die teils stark gegensätzlichen Bewertungen gewundert. Bei unserem zweiten Aufenthalt hatten wir anfangs ein Zimmer in dem es etwas feucht war. Wer nur so etwas sieht ist sicherlich nicht "amused". Haben aber nach unserer Beschwerde sofort ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Also sich kein Zimmer im Nebenhaus neben dem Pool geben lassen. Empfang: Reservierungen […] waren im Hotel-PC, Personal freundlich, Einchecken und Abrechnung bei Abreise schnell und problemlos Frühstückstandard: Müsli ( 4 Sorten), Bagels zum Toasten, süße Teile, Muffons, Marmelade, Butter, Frischkäseaufstrich, Kaffee, Tee, Milch Wer zu spät kommt, bekommt Pappbecher ...andere Sachen werden berechnet. Zimmer (hatten 2 King Size Betten): ausreichend groß und sauber Fernseher WiFi (ohne Kosten) ging auch auf dem Zimmer Klima jeden Tag bei Bedarf frische Handtücher und Zimmerservice Bar: bis 23.00 Uhr Essen und Trinken, kann bequem aufs Zimmer gebucht werden, aktuelle Rechnung über Fernseher im Zimmer einsehbar Pool: nicht benutzt, aber macht ordentlichen Eindruck Parkplätze vor Hotel umsonst und in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden toller "Food Markt" für Verpflegung oder auch zum Essen selbst 200m über Kreuzung, Entfernung zu Downtown Seattle ca. 15 km, Mietwagen ist absolut von Vorteil Fazit: solides Hotel, dass bei unserem Rabattpreis 44% off) ein gutes Preis-/ Leistungsverhälnis abgab Mehr

Not good, there was urine on the side of toilet and floor I called twice and asked for this to be cleaned, it never was. I also asked for some splatter that kinda looked like blood to be cleaned and again it never was.I am a RN so this totally grossed me out. The night we arrived the front desk ladies were very nice the rest of the staff was snotty. […] We would have left but not able to find a room with the fashion/hair show that was going on in Bellevue. This is the reason that we were over there in the first place. Mehr

"Great hotel!"
Very pleasantly surprised! The room was awesome (a spiral staircase in a double room with a spacious bathroom and sink area which was great for multiple people getting ready in the morning) and we had a view of the city at night right across the highway. Convient location, within walking distance of our desired location. Room service was really nice […] and quite quick as well. Breakfast was okay but they tended to run out of some food if you weren't there early enough in the morning, so go early if you can. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay again. Mehr

"Not a 3 Star Property"
For the price we decided to stay here. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Hotel is in desperate need of a refresh. I would not stay here again.
"Convenient, Nice Place"
Nice hotel, very friendly staff, even at all hours of the night. 5-stars for their service. Decent rate when reserved at a hotel booking site. It's only too bad a person has to pay so much money for a place where you're just going to sleep and not use all the amenities.
We did not get our reserved 2 queen beds- a mistake was made and they gave it to someone else. The room had a narrow spiral staircase that led to the bedroom and bathroom, which we didn't know beforehand. My husband has had his knee replaced twice and we would not have stayed there had we known he would have to climb those stairs. The service for the […] complimentary breakfast was a joke. Two ladies standing and talking when EVERY table needed to be cleaned off and food needed restocking. It was so ridiculous and irritating!!! Mehr
The mattress was much to soft for me. After 3 nights my back was killing me. Breakfast was good and restaurant is good. Place is quiet and help we're friendly.

"Just what we needed."
Peaceful, restful...just what we needed. Close to hospital where we were waiting for Grandson to be born. Stayed here before and made a point to stay here this time, too. Gracious and helpful receptionists. Continental breakfast was just right. Have already recommended Coast Hotel in Bellevue to others.

My stay at this hotel was not a pleasant one. The walls were very thin and the guests staying next to us and on te floor above us were very noisy throughout the night and I did not get a good nights sleep. Not to mention that the room had a heavy smoke odor to it.
"Bellevue Coast Hotel - Great Value!"
The Bellevue Coast Hotel was exactly what we were looking for. From the street, it looks a bit outdated, but inside, it is quite nice. While they seemed to have forgotten the hallways in their renovations, the lobby, restaurant, and rooms are all up-to-date and quite comfortable. The beds are very soft and the pillow are nice. I slept great! My alarm […] clock had an iPhone/iPod dock, so I was able to use charge my phone bed-side. Great water pressure in the showers, clean rooms, and friendly staff all make this hotel an excellent value just across the freeway from downtown. Plenty of parking (which is free with your stay) and well-kept grounds. The rooms are not over-sized, but they are not tiny either. I would definately stay here again. My only complaint would be that the breakfast consisted entirely of bread-like carbohydrates... Some yogurt, a hard-boiled egg, or some breakfast sausage would have been nice to balance it a bit. "Comfortable bed and great freeway access"
Comfortable bed and clean room. Very close to the huge downtown mall with PF Changs and the Cheese Cake Factory. Right next to the freeway and easy to get to work. You can hear the freeway and poor breakfast. Good for work, but not at all romantic.

The Continental Breakfast was Unsatisfactory! (It has totally gone down hill since our last stay!) The Service people had to be reminded to fill the water pitcher, put out more bagels, Yada Yada... "Great Stay at the Coast Bellevue"
I had a revision on my lasik surgery in Bellevue Washington and we stayed at the Coast Bellevue Hotel. It was very nice, we went to the lounge and had a few drinks, talked with a very nice bartender then had a free continental breakfast in the morning. I would stay there again if I need to go back for any reason.

Short business trip and needed to stay in Bellevue. Pleasently surprised, great location, comfortable bed. Wine reception was a nice touch too.
Location of the hotel is very convenient. Close to Bellevue downtown, walking distance to Whole Foods Martet.
The pictures display a much nicer hotel. Room had AC on full blast when we checked in and was absolute;y freezing. It had been around 45 degrees that day, i think my fingers are still a bit numb....
"Great location but not kid friendly"
This was our first time staying in Bellevue and thought this hotel was clean, quiet and close to downtown. The down side was that there were no kid channels and the breakfast was below average compare to other hotels who also offer free breakfast.

"If you like lots of noise then stay here"
You can hear WAY to much noise.........The walls and even the windows are paper thin....All night I heard people outside and I was 6 floors up.....if you don't like to sleep then stay there...
"A nice hotel for the business traveler"
My weeks stay was very enjoyable. The courtesy shuttle will take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the hotel. I slept well there, with the exception of one night. There was a bunch of rowdy folks in the room next door that required a prompt complaint to the front desk. They finally quieted down around 1 AM. Bellevue is a very clean town for the […] size. "The Coast Hotel in Bellevue, WA"
We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the freeways and the location did not disappoint. Although our room did not match the updated and modern lobby, it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was advertised as "included" but we ended up having to order our meal from the restaurant because the "included" breakfast only consisted of carb and sugar-laden […] choices. We did, however, enjoy the Starbucks coffee offered. Most hotels don't serve quality brewed coffee. We would stay there again. Mehr
"Never Again..."
I am not one to complain, but really feel the need here. The hotel lobby was fairly nice. To be honest, I expected a pretty nice place considering this is in downtown Bellevue, WA, and Bellevue is known to be a high-end area. Once we checked in, the following is what made our stay terrible and we litterally made reservations at the Silver Cloud across […] town the next night. -Elevator is old. -There was trash in the hallways -Door to room stays open -Toilet didn't flush correctly. Had to hold handle down till water was 1/2 flushed. -No glass holder for coffee maker -Beds were nice and soft but the bed itself seemed to be on a large spring. If you moved, you would get tossed and turned -Continental breakfast was terrible. It was all bread. No pancakes, bacon, egges, potatoes, etc. -Buttons on the TV remote didn't work. -The mini fridge was under bathroom sink. Not located near coffee maker. Weird -The microwave was located in the laundry room. You had to walk outside to get there. It was a lot of little things that became too many. For vacation, we stayed at this hotel instead of downtown because of a good price, location and quality. The only thing we did not like is a smaller choice of restaurants in Bellevue. And those seafood places that we went to were not worth $40-$60 per person that we spent.
