Zentral gelegenes Hotel, von dem aus man gut zu Fuß die Stadt erkunden kann. Die frisch renovierten Zimmer sind schön, hell und sehr sauber.

Das Zimmer war sehr düster, da es direkt an andere Gebäude angrenzte.

Im April übernachteten wir 2 Nächte im Hotel Victoria in Downtown. Super zentral gelegen. Das Hotel wurde sehr schön restauriert. Sehr gutes Frühstück gibt es im Restaurant "Marché" gleich um die Ecke. Das Restaurant "Over Easy", welches im Hotel integriert ist, können wir für das Frühstück nicht empfehlen. Das wifi im Hotelzimmer war nicht das schnellste […] aber erfüllte den Zweck. Bei einem weiteren Toronto-Aufenthalt werden wir das Hotel Victoria wieder berücksichtigen. Mehr

tired hotel - suites are positioned next to elevator. would not stay again.

great fun. near a few of the better restaurants - (avoiding the high sodium, carbs located everywhere). Very decent reasonable breakfast/lunch restaurant off lobby.

rooms very small but comfortable and updated

great location and close to Union Station round the corner. Room small and darkish but bed was soooo comfortable. I would recommend this.

Excellent location for those wanting to be in downtown and close to Union Station as well (I took the train in to Toronto, so this was a short walk from the station). My room was exceedingly small, but adequate for the two nights I was there. Free wifi is a big plus. Will definitely stay there again

We especially enjoyed the decor and the luxurious duvets and huge pillows. The staff was accommodating when we had an issue with the television and moved us to another room in the same category. The elevator was an issue as repairs were taking place. Great location. Room was small but beds very comfortable and a fantastic shower. We didn't mind parking 10 min. walk away (more reasonable rate) but others might not.

great, friendly staff, and the room was always clean, but we found that the room size was not enough space for two people during our four-day stay. limited bathroom shelf space made it tough. if you were only staying overnight, i would recommend this hotel, but only then. this hotel is very conveniently located near the king street metro station, and […] we were able to take a 5 minute walk to the air canada center. yonge/dundas square is about a 10 minute walk, as is, of course, eaton place, then. I was quite happy with my stay at this hotel. I had tickets to see the Van Halen concert @ the ACC, and this hotel was very close by. The room was really nice & tidy. The hotel its self is very bnice as well, and neat. I didn't interact with the staff much, but when I did, they were polite. The only thing I wasn't fussy on was that the door to the […] bathroom had a frosted glass cut out, but you still could see through it. I was with my dad, so that was kinda odd. Mehr

It was my revisit of toronto after 20 years and its been great trip. The hotel was superb and it felt homely. The staffs were very attentive and the location was very accessible. I'm definitely staying here again in my next visit.

Although the location and price is excellent there is no room service and you have to park your own car blocks and blocks away and walk back to the hotel. I think most people would be willing to pay extra not to have to drive around city streets in Toronto. Also the coffee machine in the room looks exactly like a traditional one, as in needing a pot. […] I had no pot just a cup and coffee packets. I thought they forgot to put a pot in the room. Turns out it's a new system where you just put the cup under the spout where a pot would go. A little instruction card noting that would be beneficial as I was just angry off first thing in the morning. When a hotel is attached to a restaurant you'd think there'd be room service but there isn't, very disappointing. Overall, if you don't mind no room service and the park your car yourself, great value and location and nice, clean room. Mehr

My only frustration was with the shower. Despite the shower door having a seal at the bottom, water pours out of the door while showering, creating a lake on the washroom floor after only a 10 minute shower. A minor frustration was the fact that I, unlike other patrons, never received my complimentary Globe and Mail. Overall, the hotel was very nice. It was clean, quiet and the people at the front desk seemed quite nice. The only real issue I had was when I booked the room, I was not informed of a deposit fee. It came as a bit of a shock when the man at the front desk told me I had to pay a deposit, and that the deposit was the same price as the hotel room itself. […] Seemed a tad excessive, in my opinion. Excellent location near the King subway station - unfortunately didn't discover the large underground mall near the station until the last day. Very clean room. No hot water one morning because boiler broke down - a very rare event evidently. Wifi connectivity problematic and intermittent.

Everything you need out of a hotel room - not too much space but it's clean and very well located in the heart of the city.

I arrived before the check-in time and the room was ready. I was allowed to check-in and go to my meetings. That was gratefully appreciated. The room was very clean and comfortably. A restaurant on the premise was also convient. Thank you!!

An excellet location to be downtown TO, however dont expect a view, it is of a brick wall, but that prob happens at alot of buildings that are so close together. walking distance to everything we wanted to go to ACC, Eaton Centre, HHOF. great breakfast cafe located in building.

Hotel was great. Service was great. However, our room fronted Yonge street and it was unbelievably loud in the moring... Traffic, sirens, and a freakin jackhammer right out front. Older building I suppose is the reason for being less sound resistant.

Room was a tad small.....much like A New York hotel but spiffy clean with a great bed. Location was downtown Central with Subway on doorstep. A great breakfast Cafe in Lobby. We will return!

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very satisfied with the level of customer service I was given, as well as its comfort and access to down town Toronto! If you are looking for a nice place to stay for a night or two this is a great option for you! However, the rooms, although comfortable with all the necessities, are VERY small and not for someone […] looking to spend a lot of time in their room. The Hotel Victoria is a wonderful hotel. Apparently, its the 2nd oldest hotel in Toronto, but it's definitely been up-dated. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any needs and questions. The rooms can be a little small, but for the price and location of the hotel I cannot complain. The only problem is the standard twin single room. The beds […] were too small. Mehr

The elevator is slow, gets stuck and there's only one in the entire building. It mires the entire hotel experience. I'd steer clear if you have a choice.

The hotel was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do which was great and why I chose it. The woman at the front desk was friendly and very professional. The room itself was clean but old and very small. I was disappointed that it wasn't anything like the picture that represented a standard room on the website.

Great price at a wonderful location. A few block walk from all the major attractions in Toronto. Recently reno'ed, the rooms are neat. This small hotel has some history as well. The only shortcoming is the lack of parking. The lot I was directed to was a muni lot about 5 blocks away. Do what we did.. Park your car and leave it there until your stay […] is done! Mehr

This is the idealistic hotel that I'm always looking for and have finally found. I'm a resident of Toronto but needed a hotel to stay overnight at while I party away downtown. There's no designated hotel parking but there's several other public parking garages close by within extremely short walking distance. The front desk was extremely friendly and […] courteous to my boyfriend and I. The hotel room is moderately sized, nothing too big or extravagant. The decor & furniture is contemporary with accents of green. The wooden floors are so warm to the touch, a nice change from carpeted floors. The washroom was new and sparkling (wow, I've never seen such a clean tub, no joke). There's free wi-fi for hotel guests and every hotel room has an iphone/ipod dock which is awesome. This is absolutely my first choice in hotels from now on in Toronto. Mehr

I always wanted to check this place out and I have to say, it was pretty good. We went for a weekend out in the Toronto and it's walking distance to everywhere. Modern decor and nice reception area. LOVED the shower head in the bathroom. We've been to a few hotels all over and this is probably one of the best showers we've had at a hotel. :P For parking […] on weekend, definitely park underground off of Wellington. After 6pm it's $5! If you are in the area, definitely don't neglect to walk (5min) to St. Lawrence Market on the weekend or take a 10min walk down to the waterfront. Rooms were smallish but well appointed and very clean. Comfortable beds. Please note, they do take a copy of your credit card but I think for a smaller establishment that is normal. the renovated Hotel Victoria is delightful. Great location, very reasonable rates, accommodation was fine and bed was very comfortable. As well, it is so handy to everything in downtown Toronto, including transportation, restaurants, theatres and shopping - what more could you ask.

A great choice in downtown Toronto, especially if you arrive by train since it is close to Union Station. We were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and all of the amenities (except the towels, a little thin) were as stated on the hotel website. There is a breakfast cafe off the lobby which served a well priced selection.

I chose the Hotel Victoria because it was close to my conference hotel and a lot less expensive. It worked great for me, since I just needed a place to do a little work, shower, and sleep. The room was clean and quiet, the shower was good, the flatscreen TV was big, and I appreciated the free wifi. The bed was comfy and a separate heating unit kept […] the cold out. So, as I think about it, I guess it was pretty great. I will say that my room was small, good enough for one person but would have been close quarters for two. Maybe they have larger rooms for couples, I don't know. Mehr

Small rooms and limited amenities but the rooms are extremely nice, the location is prime time and the price is a steal.
