Generell ein nettes und ruhiges Hotel direkt im Zentrum Seattles. Zu Bus und S-Bahn sind es circa 5 Gehminuten. Leider keine Verpflegungsmöglichkeit im Hotel selbst, aber es gibt zahlreiche Coffeeshops (unter anderem direkt im Hotel) sowie Drug-Stores in der näheren Umgebung. Die Motivation der Raumpfleger/innen lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig. Während […] eines zehn-tägigen Aufenthalts wurde genau einmal das Bad gewischt ansonsten beschränkt sich die Zimmerreinigung auf Bett machen und Staubsaugen. Ein großes Manko ist m.E. nach auch der fehlende Kühlschrank im Hotelzimmer. Alles in allem aber eine (für Seattle) günstige Lösung für Personen die nicht allzuhohe Ansprüche stellen. Das Personal (bspw. am Empfang) ist äußerst hilfsbereit und stets freundlich. Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal. Wer gut zu Fuß ist, kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Seattle in circa 30 Minuten erreichen. Top-Lage. Mehr

Gute Lage Kein direkter Fahrstuhl von der Lobby zu den Zimmern Kleiner Laden mit Kaffee, Snacks und Softdrinks Meiner Meinung nach ist die Umgebeung des Hotels nicht gerade gut mit Restaurants bestückt, was eher nagativ zu bewerten ist.

Einziges negatives waren die Parkkosten von $23 pro Tag und das Parkhaus ist nebenan, Gepäcktransport eher unpraktisch. Sonst war das Hotel echt super.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, um Seattle zu Fuß zu erkunden. Das Hotel ist stark renovierungsbedürftig und die Atmosphäre entsprechend trist. Der Preis würde einem besseren Zustand entsprechen.

I can't hardly think of a better location for this hotel. We were in Seattle for 4 days and didn't have to rent a car because of the location. Many of these downtown hotels are pretty old - so little details like fans in the bathroom don't work or were never installed. The character is amazing though. Definitely worth the experience.

If you enjoy a small room and bathroom than this is the place. hardly room to even set-up the ironing board. Room has no temperature controls, A/C was off for the season, room had no air movement. Very stuffy, humid. Hotel staff was mediocre, and slow to respond to requests. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

Look elsewhere! We stayed on the 8th floor far away from the elevator but we could still hear it. The bathroom door was glass that just clicked in to place so there was no privacy... anything happening in the bathroom could be heard clearly in the bedroom. The toilet lid also wouldn't close because the flusher was in front of it. You can't adjust the […] temperature in the room and it was stifling! We tried to adjust the controls (because we didn't know they were worthless) and after 10 minutes it started whistling and blowing out steaming air. We called the front desk and they agreed to come look at it. When we returned hours later it did the same thing! We called the front desk again and someone came up and told us that air isn't an option, but offered to bring us a fan. 10 minutes later he returned with a 18" oscillating fan... that didn't oscillate! We checked out at 7am the next morning even though we had 2 nights booked. Mehr

Most hotels in area were sold out so we choose this as a reasonably priced option. It was ok.

The staff were the highlight of this hotel. Everyone is very courteous, friendly, and real. The worst part about this hotel is the heating system. Our room on the 7th floor was way too warm, which made it difficult to sleep without the window one, which, of course, allows a lot of street noise into the roomm.

Everything was perfectly fine, except the first impression when you open the door: there's more bed than there is room! I'm only in town for one night, between trains. It's just me, so I don't need a queen size bed. And the room is too small for the bed. It looks silly and it feels silly - you almost walk sideways around the room. A queen-size bed is […] intended for two people. The room isn't big enough for two people, walking sideways around the bed. Put in a "double", charge ten bucks less, and it'll make sense. Outside of that silliness, it's a great hotel at reasonable price. I wanted something to eat that evening and found that I had to go outside around the corner to get into the restaurant. Tiny room, tiny beds, TINY bathroom. Dirty coffee pot with old coffee grounds left in it. Terrible a/c. Absolutely no water pressure in the shower. Elevator stopped working when we first arrived, but it worked the rest of the time and was extremely loud. We heard that thing nonstop the entire time we were there. WiFi is free, but unreliable and super […] slow. The location of the hotel is walking distance to sights so that was the plus side. The staff were polite as well, so that was another plus. Hotel is 2 blocks from light rail for one of 3 down town stops. 75 cents on light rail for seniors $2.50 for others. Excellent location for Symphony, Pike Market, and all down town shopping. Staff at hotel were always willing to provide directions and assistance. Free Apples in the lobby, and wine at 5 - 6.

The parking ended up being $42/night due to taxes. The rooms are tiny & the bathrooms are the size of a closet. The location is perfect for walking around downtown Seattle.

The hotel was clean but very old. Beds were ok, not great. Space in room was very, very limited. Bathroom was incredibly small, shower was good, no countertop space at all. Most upsetting was the temperature in the room. It was about 85 degrees when we checked in. We turned off the heater, and had to leave the hall door open for hours. This is the second time in less than two months I've stayed here. The second is even better than the first! For business, I occupied a small, single-queen room on the 4th floor. I didn't need much as it was just one night. The room was clean and arranged well. The bathroom was roomier than the last room I stayed in as well. I had a great view, looking […] west. The hotel went far beyond what they needed to with accommodating my early check-in/late check-out requests. I had a ridiculously early flight in and testing early the next morning and wanted to clean up before I left for the flight home. They were the best. I can't be more pleased with the service. The doorman, I'm sorry I don't remember his name, is friendly, and knows the city well to suggest things to do to occupy any downtime. I was concerned with the duvet on the bed; it seemed to have a lot of small holes in it in one corner. Almost like what you see when hot ashes touches a car interior. I wasn't sure what caused it but it was my only "maintenance" concern and was isolated to the bottom corner. It didn't bother me enough to complain. Being located in the city, relatively centrally, is nice too as it makes walking to any activity much easier. I would, as I mentioned in my last review, stay here again. Mehr

It was great for our needs - although I did miss having a blow dryer. I had read reviews that the rooms were really small and best suited for one person, but two of us were quite comfortable in a room for one queen-sized bed. The price was great for the location. We'd definitely stay there again.

I liked the location. It was very close to the convention center as well as Pike Place Market. I visited both of these locations several times and going back to the hotel to drop off any purchases was very convenient. Whether I had a heater or an AC unit in my room I was unsure of, but it was a poor excuse for either. It blew outside air for an hour […] or so before it either started heating or overheated. I could not get the window to stay open larger than about 6 inches or for longer than a few seconds and ended up cramming a roll of toilet paper into the small hole in an attempt to cool off the room. It was terrible the room wasn't ready when we attempted to check in at 6pm. The room it self smelled like cigarettes even though they say there is no smoking... The room has terrible climate controls too, it was sweltering inside. when we requested a new room they said they had none available even though I know they did. Good location for downtown attractions, within walking distance of most places. The room was small, the AC unit didn't work properly so i opened the window to cool off. It wasn't bad and I didn't notify staff. No doubt they would have fixed it, good staff. Otherwise a good stay.

We got a room with a wine reception but were not told anywhere that it was hosted at a specific time and missed it. We then went up to the room which was a total mess. The bathroom had hair in the sink and shower, there were no tissues, and it overall had a feeling of not being clean. When we arrived, the front desk attendant was helpful and sweet, […] but later in the evening I asked a different attendant about the wine reception and she was rude. I could barely hear her whispering (in a completely empty lobby) she would not make eye contact and was completely ambivalent and acted as if my question was a nuisance to her. This was supposed to be a romantic getaway with my boyfriend but I would NOT recommend staying here. It was a waste of money and I know I could have gotten a better room for a better price at another hotel. Oh let's not forget the parking! We were not told where to park and ended up paying an extra 27 to use the hotels self park lot (which is NOT labeled anywhere on the building either). I will not be coming back and I will definitely not be recommending this hotel to anyone I know. Mehr

Quality of service was excellent. Staff extremely helpful. Room overheated, maintenance was right there to turn off heat. Parking Valet very Helpful even though we didn't use valet parking.

My stay was lovely, however, I was disappointed with the room size and general condition of the actual hotel. It is a bare bones hotel to stay for quick business trips. Rooms are very small and outdated. The staff is wonderful and were beyond nice and extremely helpful, but the hotel needs renovation. The walls are a little thin and there is no restaurant […] for room service. The Seattles Best coffee shop in the lobby was nice. It's not unclean, it's just old. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, great price but I would gladly pay more to stay elsewhere. No bang for your buck here. Mehr

Lovely hotel, but the room was very small, bed right next to walls, the shower stall right next to the sink, no place to put anything, tiny tiny. Bed was very comfortable.

Overall the location and cleanliness of the room was fine but the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything that is going on in your neighbors room and you can hear all traffic and noises outside. We had no sleep and were very upset that we paid that much for a room to sleep in when we could have stayed on the street and gotten more sleep

Fantastic location close to Pike Market & approx 20 min walk to space needle. Everything within walking distance. Staff were friendly & helpful. Room was average a bit small but was only there for sleeping. Free wine hour at 5pm every night is awesome!!
