Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Komfortable großzügige Zimmer, unseres mit komplett eingerichteter Küche. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit Obst, Joghurt, Müsli etc. Minishop und ebenfalls ein kleiner Starbucks sind auch im Hotel vorhanden. Die Lage ist der einzige Minuspunkt für uns gewesen, da sehr weit vom Innenstadtbereich entfernt (zu Fuß ca. 25 Minuten). Ebenfalls direkt an der Interstate gelegen, somit 24 Stunden die Autos zu hören.

Die Vorzüge des Hotels sind eindeutig: 1.) Die ausgezeichnete Lage für Reisende die möglichst schnell (ca. 200 m zu Fuß) vom Hotel bis zu Check-In Schalter kommen möchten. Wegen der Kürze des Weges geht das sogar zu Fuß bei Regen ohne Schirm! 2.) Die unmittelbare Nähe (ca. 250 m) zum LightRail Link zwischen Flughafen und Seattle Downtown, wobei die Tageskarte ca. 5$ kostet. Fahrtzeit ca. 35 Minuten. Ansonsten war das Hotel älter in der Ausstattung (ungefähr 70er Jahre Bauzeit) mit einigen Upgrades (z.B. zwei neue Flachbildschirme). Das Standard-Zimmer (Bad, Schlafzimmer, Auftenhaltsraum) war sauber. Die Lounch und der Frühstücksbereich des Hotels gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hingegen nur Durchschnitt, so daß man eher in Seattle Downtown frühstücken möchte. Der sehr Nahe gelegene Flughafen bietet diesbezüglich auch nur wenig an. Einzige Kritikpunkte meines Zimmers auf der Seite zum Flughafen war der laute Straßenverkehr des 'Internationl Boulevard' for dem Hotel (der Fluglärm hingegen war gut erträglich). Und die Klimaanlage, welche in Seattle aber selten nötig wäre, wenn man das Fenster öffenen könnte. Das ging zwar mechanisch problemlos, aber bei dem Straßenverkehr-Krach ... Ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen. In der Summe war es rund.

Die Klimaanlage in dem Zimmer musste den ganzen heizen, damit es abends nicht zu kalt wird. Das Bad wurde gar nicht von der Wärme gar nicht betroffen und war entsprechend frisch.
Lage
Executive Hotel Pacific befindet sich mitten in Seattle in der Nähe von: Seattle Public Library, Columbia Center und Washington State Convention & Trade Center. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Pike Place Market und Space Needle.
Ausstattung
Dieses Hotel für Geschäftsreisende verfügt über folgende gastronomische Angebote: Restaurant, Coffee-Shop/Café und Bar/Lounge. Ein kostenloser W-LAN Internetzugang steht in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Dieses Hotel mit 3 Sternen stellt Geschäftsreisenden Folgendes zur Verfügung: Businesscenter (rund um die Uhr geöffnet) und Konferenzraum. Das Hotelpersonal hilft Ihnen gerne bei allen Fragen weiter. Die Innenstadt von Seattle erstreckt sich entlang des Puget Sound vom historischen Pioneer Square im Süden bis zum schicken Belltown im Norden. Dazwischen reihen sich Bürogebäude, Einkaufsgalerien und Apartments in Backsteinhäusern an den grünen Boulevards aneinander. Hier befinden sich das Kongresszentrum und Pike Place Market, wo Lachse fliegen können. Gäste sollten auch unbedingt die futuristische öffentliche Hauptbibliothek besuchen. Die Zwillingsstadien Seattles und der International District liegen südlich von der Innenstadt.

Generell ein nettes und ruhiges Hotel direkt im Zentrum Seattles. Zu Bus und S-Bahn sind es circa 5 Gehminuten. Leider keine Verpflegungsmöglichkeit im Hotel selbst, aber es gibt zahlreiche Coffeeshops (unter anderem direkt im Hotel) sowie Drug-Stores in der näheren Umgebung. Die Motivation der Raumpfleger/innen lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig. Während […] eines zehn-tägigen Aufenthalts wurde genau einmal das Bad gewischt ansonsten beschränkt sich die Zimmerreinigung auf Bett machen und Staubsaugen. Ein großes Manko ist m.E. nach auch der fehlende Kühlschrank im Hotelzimmer. Alles in allem aber eine (für Seattle) günstige Lösung für Personen die nicht allzuhohe Ansprüche stellen. Das Personal (bspw. am Empfang) ist äußerst hilfsbereit und stets freundlich. Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal. Wer gut zu Fuß ist, kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Seattle in circa 30 Minuten erreichen. Top-Lage. Mehr

Faucet leaked/dripped and AC didn't work, room stuffy. Gym equipment was meager at best, no boby who works out would be able to use it. Should be upgraded.
"OK but room was small"

The staff was pleasant. We appreciate this is an old building that has been renovated however the carpet in our room was worn/badly stained/smelled musty. The air conditioning (if in fact that's what it is) would be totally insufficient in warm weather. Although the price is good for this downtown location we would opt to stay elsewhere next time.

"Its true...you get what you pay for."
I was taking a business trip and staying on a budget. This hotel was in a convenient location near my conference site and was inexpensive compared to the conference site and other surrounding hotels. And though it was in the financial district of downtown Seattle (which is dead after 6pm), it was within walking distance of Belltown, Pike Public Market, […] etc. The staff were professional, the room was always clean when I came back from my conference. However, what could have been better were: 1) the bed and 2) insulation between rooms. So...the bed was bad. I've slept on worst BUT this one was not lulling me to sleep at all. You know its not good when you're tired but can't sleep because the bed is not comfortable. Second, the walls are way too thin in this hotel. From hearing one set of neighbors sneezing, another set coming back to the hotel room drunk and sobbing about their unfortunate life circumstances, and another set of neighbors getting it on...it made it a very difficult place to actually sleep and rest. I read the reviews and took a gamble; I didn't have a horrible experience but it wasn't great either. I'd come back if I had to, but next time if I have other options I will gladly take those first. "My Stay"
It was fine.
The room was very small and it was loud most of the night between the noise from the elevator and the outdoor noise. It was centrally located in the downtown area and we received a free wine reception.

I am not much of a downtown type of person, but we were going to an event at the Century Link Stadium so staying within walking distance was what we were after. This hotel was perfect for that! Also an added bonus was being a few blocks up the street from the waterfront, as well as Pike Place Market. This was all within walking distance. Watching the […] men throw fish at the market was amazing (especially for those of us from the Midwest). Our hotel room was small, but clean and pretty. We were hot the entire night, however. "Great location, but..."
The location was very convenient for our stay downtown, but the room was so uncomfortably hot and stuffy that we couldn't stand to stay in it. No air conditioning. We left the window open the whole weekend. There is also no bathroom fan, no fridge, and no desk. The rooms are very small, but with newer furnishings and clean.

Clean, comfortable and right downtown within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Bathroom was a bit cramped and the one elevator they had working was charming...but very slow. I would stay there again for a short trip.

"Old Outdated hotel, but great location"
We enjoyed our stay, had a little bit of a rude customer service experience but overall we had a great time. It was in walking distance to the games, and we enjoyed having a coffee stand right in the lobby. Could not turn the heater off. The knobs were on off, but it was uncomfortably hot the whole time. We forgot to tell the front desk. We were in room 707. Otherwise - good.

I’m not one to complain but we were not impressed with our stay. Cozy Hotel, small bathroom, no free parking, close to most things. However, we had 4 adults in a one room w/two beds and it felt VERY VERY small. We stayed this past weekend (4-14-12) and the weather was beautiful low to mid 60's and blue skies. We were placed on the top floor and the […] hotel stated it had AC, false advertising. This hotel has seasonal AC, it was stated to us that they can only turn on the AC once we are out of the winter season. Our room was uncomfortably too warm and no one seemed to have a solution for us. We left the window open the inch that is allowed, hoping it would cool down by the time we came back to the hotel that evening. Unfortunately there was no difference. It seemed we had to beg to get a fan in our room. It didn’t make that big of a difference though, I don’t know of many people who like to sleep in a hot room, but if you do I guess this is the perfect place to stay. The only friendly customer service we received was from a gentleman who was part of the complimentary wine tasting. I can’t remember his name but he was very upbeat, friendly, seemed to like his job, and knew the ins and outs of Seattle and had plenty of suggestions for things to do as well. He definitely knows what customer service is and because of him he made our stay more enjoyable. Mehr

Ther was no air conditioner, they did send us a fan the second nite. The room was not particularly clean, stains and dirty baseboards. Small rooms. Friendly staff!

"Small rooms, not well maintained"
Shower/bath in our room didn't drain well, leaving you puddling about in a few inches of water after a 3 minute shower. Shower rose was loose on wall. Window looked out on a brick wall, so room can just be described as adequate for a night or 2. First time I've been disappointed by previous reviews- maybe i just lucked-out.

"Executive Hotel Pacific - great location"
Excellent location hotel, for downtown shopping and the central light link to the airport. Very close to a Starbucks and there is a Seattle Best Coffee in the hotel ground floor. Walking distance to Pike Place Market and the Colombia Observation Tower which is great value for money. Hotel service was very good, free wifi, always a good thing and they […] held our bags as we were very early for check in (they allowed us to check in early anyway at around 2pm). Basic accommodation and the room looked and felt like it was a bit dated but they are trying to upgrade. Very clean though so no issues. Overall I would recommend this hotel for the price paid, although we were only there for 1 night. Mehr

Really thin walls, can hear everything in next room. Very slow elevators. When I arrived at the airport, I tried to call the hotel, could only get the national reservation center. I have stayed in many rooms throughout downtown Seattle, and this was by far the smallest. We were crammed into a tiny space with two beds that really would have been suitable for only one. Also, we made our reservation months ahead of time, and somehow ended up right in front of the elevators where not only did we have no privacy but you could hear […] the gears of the elevator all night long. Have stayed here many times because it is near my office and cheap. Some of the bathrooms require sitting at an angle because they are so small. Need to put down toilet seat to have a place to put your shaving kit. But has big TV with a lot of channels, Internet free, coffee maker and I have found the rooms clean.. HVAC systems from the early last century, […] have had to get fan which they provided promptly on several occasions. Works for me pone night every 2 weeks, would not dare to stay here with my wife. "Would not recommend"
The hotel is older and has been updated, but I did not have a good stay there. The rooms are VERY small, and not particularly well soundproofed. The people next door were partying. I called the front desk several times, and eventually by 2 am, they shut it down. The location is convenient - close to stores, light rail, etc., but I just got a very bad […] vibe from the place. The towels were small and scratchy, I guess so no one would steal them, the carpeting was yucky, and the a/c-heat unit didn't seem to keep an accurate temperature. Plus, you had to take your luggage up and down stairs to get to the elevatore from the front desk. I paid for a "superior Queen" room, but don't know what made it superior. I have been staying at this hotel for the last five years and it never disappoints me. The location is impossible to beat with all the landmark jewels within walking distance. The staff are warm and ever ready to serve in any way you might need them. I keep comng back and think of it as my home in Seattle. "Everything we were looking for"
My wife and I went for a short vacation with the intention of staying predominantly downtown (/Belltown/International District). Other reviewers have truthfully pointed out that the rooms are...cozy. That's absolutely true, so if that's a hang-up, don't stay here. For us, though, it was great. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the staff were […] very friendly and helpful, and almost everything we wanted to do during our stay in Seattle was within walking distance -- all for a very reasonable price.
