La Quinta Inn Orlando International Drive North - Orlando

Prima Hotel, wenn man den ganzen Tag so wie wir in den Vergnuegungsparks unterwegs ist. Sehr freundlicher Service, Tickets fuer alle Parks koennen im Hotel gebucht werden, ausfuehrliche Beratung. Shuttle Service zu Universal Studios und Disney Parks kostenlos und puentklich. Ohne Voranmeldung. Kurze 20-30 Minuten Spaziergang von den Universal Studios […] entfernt. Liegt ruhig an am International Drive, gegenueber ein Seven Eleven um sich mit Getraenken und Essen einzudecken. Busse verkehren hauefig am Hotel, um mal woanders hinzukommen. Direkt am Hotel gibt es ein Diner, wo man gut essen kann. Fruehstueck im Hotel ist inbegriffen. Aber nicht so toll. Aber fuer den ersten Hunger reicht es. Die Zimmer sind grosszuegig, gut ausgestattet mit TV Foen,Kaffeemaschine und einer Badewanne.Sowie Buegelbrett und Buegeleisen. Das Reinigungspersonal ist nett und sauber. Ich wuerde immer wieder hierher kommen, vor allem schon wegen der Lage und dem Preis und der Freundlichkeit des Personals, aber es gibt ein, fuer mich zumindestens, grosses Manko. Man kann im ganzen Hotel keine Fenster oeffnen. Belueftung erfolgt ausschliesslich ueber die Klimaanlage. Die kann man zwar gut regulieren, aber wir konnten schlecht schlafen wegen der schlechten feuchten Luft. Das war sehr bedauerlich.Die Damen und Herren an der Rezption kennen das Problem, aber es ist leider nicht aenderbar. Daher kommen wir leider nicht noch mal hierher. Die Lage des LaQuinta am International Drive in Orlando ist gut, zur Outlet Mall im Norden sind es nur 5 min mit dem Auto, auch die ganzen Parks sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Allerdings ist das Hotel ziemlich abgewohnt und bräuchte dringend eine Renovierung.

Das Hotel bietet einen Gratis Shuttle Bus in die Universal Studios / Island of Adventure. Der Weg könnte auch zu Fuss zurück gelegt werden, ca. je einen Kilometer. Am International Drive findet man diverse Restaurants uns Shops.

We had a very busy 3 day stay which did not allow us much time in our room, but while we were there it was nice. The staff was outstanding. Our room was clean, quiet and the temperature, once adjusted, stayed constant. I dinged the comfort because the bed could have been firmer (sheets/towels/blankets very good) and the towels were a thin and scratchy. […] Good shower though. I dinged the condition because of the leaky sink faucet which appeared to have needed repair for some time. Loved the frig and microwave. Would have liked a better tasting in-room coffee. Mehr

Great hotel if you need to be located near S. Kirkman Rd. The entire experience was pleasant. I just wish they had a jacuzzi. The complimentary breakfast was very good the following morning. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is not a luxury hotel but is in a good location,close to a lot of places within walking distance and it seem very safe,also close to the main highways can't get lost getting there.

Hotel was conveniently located to major tourist sites, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and very good but very crowded at certain times.

the hallways smelled like a kennel,dogs barked all day and a flea bit my hand during breakfast! Other than that it was ok.

Our stay here was brief, but excellent. We had booked a double room, but the staff offered a free upgrade to a king size bed and the room was great. Clean, spacious, had a minikitchen, and nice couch. The one problem was that while the hotel offers shuttles to the parks, they are only 1 trip to/from Universal, which is where we went. We ended up driving. […] This is not something that would keep me from recommending this hotel. I'll look for it again on another trip to Orlando. Mehr

This hotel was the best we've stayed in for the price and location. Very friendly staff, clean, and <5 min drive from Universal parks. I would stay here again.

Convenient location (5 min walk to wet'n'wild) and OK room, but smelled moldy and would. Maybe we were just unlucky? Stayed for one night so didn't bother complaining. Friendly, helpful staff

The hotel is OK, the room is good, reasonable bathroom, but the hotel staff are terrible! Rude, unwilling, the worst hotel I've ever been when I think of employees, and I've stayed in hostels before ... Cleaning is not the best too!

There seems to be big issues in this place but very convenient location that attracts so many customers. A lot of places seems to be old unchanged like carpet bad smell and no information was told about no internet. Breakfast and location were took my attention. Next time I would go to cheaper alternative in the middle of International drive with similar […] services. Heater blew dust as it was not on for a while. Hotel seems to care about money and profits place stuff just because it had to , makes small profit making strategies instead of customer satisfaction. such as old tv and had to skip fuzzy channels. We were there for the Horror nights , they had a shuttle to Universal every 30 minutes, which was great , clean rooms, comfortable stay..

Very close to resort. Perfect for trip to wet and wild. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

If you are in the need of a room in Orlando and not looking for many amenities, this will be a great place to stay. Very convenient location. Clean Rooms. Free Wifi and Free Breakfast. Close to theme parks and great shopping outlets. Save your money and stay here so you can spend rest on other things in Orlando!

My weekend stay was great and had no problems except at 8 am there were guests under my window seated talking loud as if they were the only one's there and then on the last day while I was packing up my items... I walked to the bathroom and seen a ROACH in the bathroom sink. Made me so sick that I left right away and will never go back! I actually went […] to the store to put my suitcase in a trash bag and seal it up to make sure if a roach was in my stuff I wouldn't bring it home and let it loose. I had to stop at a rest area and take my items out 1 by 1 and spray to make sure I was roach free. Unreal and will never stay here again! Mehr

Stayed here so I could take my son to Harry Potter World. We walked to the park and back without much dificulty. Hotel was okay, showing its age but otherwise satisfactory. Breakfast was about what you would expect for a bargain hotel: cereal, toast, waffle maker, boiled eggs, etc. Swimming pool was nice.

The room Smelled like cigarettes!! The carpet was old. The believe the room had mold because it smelled like wet!! Never going to stay at this hotel again unless they upgrade. This is the first La Quita that I see in these poor conditions. I actually stayed at another one in Orlando the hotel was beautiful. This one never again even though it's location […] is less then a mile from Universal. Mehr

The stay in the hotel was very comfortable, location is very very good for shoppers, it is in the middle of shopping area ex Premier mall,Florida Mall ext, the service in terms of breakfast and room service is excellent, I would highly recommend this hotel for everyone

the pool is very good and the bed was confortable, however the breakfast area is kind out disoriented there is a separate rrom with tables (not enough) but the food was good. I recommend this hotel.

this was a GREAT spot, close to universal and city walk among many other great attractions. We were very pleased with the overall maintenance of the room since it is a pet friendly hotel. it was clean and had no smell of pet at all. the only complaints would be that there was no elevator, at least, we were directed to use the stairs to the second level. […] not a problem for us but i assume families with strollers or elderly people may have difficulty. also there is no ac in the hallways or stairs but again, not a huge deal for us but in 95 degree weather, it could annoy some. breakfast was good just as details on their site. enjoy your stay! We enjoyed our stay. It was convient to everything. The only thing we thought could have been better was the breakfast. The listing on the internet states more hot items. But, all in all, it was just fine.

The night I was going to stay at the LaQuinta on International Dr. in Orlando the hallways reaked of urine, the rear entry door by my room didn't work, the remote control for the TV was grimmey and didn't even work. And after I turned down the AC so it wasn't so cold the room itself also smelled like urine...thats when I got outta' there !!!

My buddie and I spent Memorial Day weekend in Orlando to escape the filth of Miami Beach for Urban Beach Week (or month). I booked this hotel and we could not have been happier. Location was perfect for Universal. The rooms are comfy and have been updated. Staff was amazing, especialy our wonderful housekeeper who was nothing but wonderful to us and […] our dog. hotel is older but seems going thru renovation. rooms are updated (carpet, bathrooms) but lobby is older...lots of parking, needed ur room card to get in & out of side entrances which is nice for extra security. continental bkfst with waffle makers. but as soon as we turned out bathroom light one or 2 roaches would come out. complained to desk but had […] no spray 2 give us. they offered room chng but with sleeping kids at 11 pm we didnt want to move them. sure enough,roaches came out again when light went bk off. so we killed them & slept with lights on..moved all luggage out into trunk in middle of the night so we wouldnt bring them home!wasnt good sleeping. ive stayed at worse places in Orlando before but never exp roaches anywhere. We find most la quinta very good a bit disapointed with this one when we arrived but the girl change our room and it isd fine

Great hotel, clean & the employees were very friendly. One the best hotel the I ever stay if not the best!

Close to Universal and clean. Nice pool. The continental breakfast is a bit of a let down. We've stayed here many times and there has never been a problem.

I asked for a non-smoking room and the hotel is supposed to be all non-smoking but the room I got had numerous cigarette burns on the carpet and smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. The room was otherwise clean and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel was every thing that i expected, up until the last day when I found a big roach under my curtain and my AC stop working.

I'd recommend this motel to anyone visiting Universal Studios. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was in great shape and very comfortable. The only wear that I noticed anywhere was the carpet in the stairwells. Tickets to the major attractions could be purchased in the hotel lobby. Although a free shuttle was available to both Universal […] and Disney, we chose to walk to Universal and it was a nice walk. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, as is Interstate 4. There's no question that I would stay at this hotel again. Mehr

I arrived to the hotel at 12 Noon and I was greeted by a friendly gentleman by the name of Albert. He was able to give me an early check-in. The room was clean and the hotel is pet friendly. There was no pet deposit to pay and it was a great value. I'd definitely stay here on any future trips to Orlando.

For the location, this is a good hotel. It is a little difficult to get into from International Dr (especially with a lot of traffic). The room was clean. Breakfast was cereal, doughnuts, bagels, toast, juices, and coffee, but was adequate. This hotel was very close to Universal Studios. A good place to stay for a weekend trip.

We had a small dog with us, and bedroom was clean and quiet. The only problem we had was the poor reception of the "free wireless Internet". After wandering the hallways checking the signal, I was obvious that the wing we stay in had the lowest signal quality. Hotel is close to everything on International Drive, and there is a Denny's right next door […] and an IHOP about a block away. Bed was comfortable, but sheets and comforter is the bargain rack at Target. But for the money (and the fact that pets are free), we would definitely stay here again. I'll ask for a room closer to the front office next time, albeit you can get free internet at the Denny's next door too. Mehr
