Das Zimmer war sehr beengt, kaum Platz zum Abstellen der Koffer. Das Badezimmer war allerdings fast so groß wie das Zimmer selbst. Freundlicher Service an der Rezeption.

convenient to amenities downtown, transit, restos, local grocery store - room had a mini fridge and microwave. Staff was friendly, helpful and prompt, and I received a free room upgrade! Room itself was well-appointed, lots of towels etc. and was very quiet considering the downtown location. I highly recommend it!

The Ramada Inn was a very nice hotel at a really good price. The hotel staff were friendly and very hepful in directing me to bus and train stations to travel outside of downtown Vancouver. While I had to walk farther to the places I wanted to visit in Vancouver, I did so because the price of the room was signifiantly cheaper than surrounding hotels. […] The room was very nice and comfortable, but had a no view (a brickwall). The location was safe, although I recommend against walking up and down Granville. The adjacent streets are much nicer and have less panhandlers. parking next to hotel cost 20 dollars a day they wanted to drive my car to off site location when lot got full people at the front desk were rude and not helpful the tiolet didnt work for two of the three days no sort of refund offered terrible experience wont return

I originally booked this hotel through my work for a business trip. It was a good price. However, there was nothing on the website when we booked about a $250 deposit as a non-smoking guarantee. When I got to the hotel, I did not have the deposit and there were not going to allow me to stay, even though I had some cash as a deposit and am not a smoker. […] I had even called the hotel earlier to double check on my registration as I was coming in late, and there was no mention of this policy. Normally a deposit is not an issue, but my credit card was maxed and I was not expecting it. It took 20 minutes of "arguing" with the clerk before I could finally convince him to let me stay. The room was on the 3rd floor and all night there was banging, yelling, arguing, commotion outside the room - it sounded like construction all night. The next morning on checkout, I went down to the front desk and they gave me my cash deposit back. However, no one went to my room to check and see if I had actually smoked in the room. Wasn't too happy, they put me on a floor still in construction smelled strongly of paint and wallpaper..the window went to some central duct so no fresh air. The walls were so thin and they put a dog on the same floor...without mentioning that to me. None too pleased to be sure

Pleasant staff, older small hotel, refurbished room - small clean comfortable, location - rundown part of city centre, convenient central location. Good value for money.

After booking my room through hotels.com I showed up to check-in at the West Pender location and found out I was at the wrong Ramada. The receptionist was very polite and called the Ramada on Granville to confirm that I was booked there. I grabbed a cab and made it there in no time. Upon checking in at the correct Ramada I informed the receptionist […] of my mistake and she upgraded my room at no extra cost. The room was fine and the location was quiet. Granville is known as a party area however it was laid back while I was there. Mehr

the service is really good. they do a lot of things for me. the drawback is the quilt is not very comfortable .and mattress is too soft for an eastern person.

Hotel was conveniently located. There were several eateries in the neighborhood. It was great for the price I paid. I was not particularly fond of the noise from the hall at 6 a.m. but I enjoyed my stay there.

We stayed at the hotel with a sports team. Great staff, rooms spotlessly clean, soft sheets, nice clean decor. But the area was awful, nightclub next door music thumping all night, hotel car park full of homeless people with their carts full of their belongings. Car park had a bad urine smell! I enjoyed my stay, the rooms clean and neat, hotel staff very helpful and it is centrally located.

The women at the front desk were very rude and unwelcoming. Bad Start. The hallways and lobby look like they were borrowed from the set of "The Shining"... which only lead to the shoe box sized room. Two double beds, a pull out couch and bathroom in around 2.5 square feet. ;) The walls are paper thin, and you hear all the noises from outside as though […] you were on the street (and we stayed on the 6th floor!). To top it off, one of the elvators from hell broke down during my stay, with someone in it. Only saving grace were the beds, actually looked clean and were comfortable...but like everything else in this hotel, small. Thumbs down. Mehr

The hotel itself is nicely maintained and updated. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Close to skytrain, shopping, and easy walking to most locations. Granville is a dirty street("entertainment district') but safe.There is a club right next door, so make sure to request a room at a higher floor and near the back of the building! I think they forgot to build in any sound proofing into this hotel. I could hear doors of rooms closing loudly, people talking on their cell phone in the hall way at all hours. It did not help that this was Halloween weekend but still it was excessive. The location was decent with restaurants nearby and sky train. We were very pleased with our stay at this Ramada. It's a restored historic property, which means that a stay here will be a little different from a typical chain property -- the floors creaked a little, and the rooms weren't laid out the way they would be in a new building. Hotels feels old and tired. Elevator is too narrow to fit luggage in sideways. Problem if you use luggage trolley. Our room was too small for more than 4 people.

Very happy with our accomodations in Vancouver. Friendly and helpful service at all times.

Hotel is in very convenient spot, but the music at night last till 2am, hard to sleep with the noise. Parking is difficult. Room is small, not enough counter space. Otherwise the room is clean, and in the heart of Vancouver.

Staff were great! advised on close park to take small child. Because of great downtown location can be a little noise at night but nothing that the a/c could not drown out.

Tiny room for 3 people . Very noisy. Difficult to access bathroom. Squeeky floors. Couldn't reach power outlet for coffee maker. Too expensive for the property.

Some staff were rude. The hotel was dated.

I have stayed at a lot of Ramada's around the country and I have to say this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. I rented a room for 6 and got a room that the sleeper sofa was sitting in a small area outside the bedroom (2 double beds) with only approximately 6" room between the sofa sleeper getting into the bath room My wife could not enter the […] bathroom and at 8:00pm wwe were al tired and very upset. The staff agrued with me but I was able to get 2 rooms with 2 double beds but during the night the bed was so small and close to the walls I rolled over starting to fall out of bed and got wedged between the wall with the window air conditioner. I got a cramp in my leg trying to get out at 2:00am Monday morning and had to continued pushing myself to the floor and scoot out of the area on the floor to the end of the bed. On top of it all the fron og the air conditioner fell on top of me and I had to get someone to remove it. The hotel is next to a bar and drunken loud individuals screaming at 3:00am talking about cutting this other guys head off and several other profaine comments not very good comments for my grandchildren. Parking has something to be desired also since it looked like a good place to get broken into during the night. I understand someone's car was broken into but luckily not mine. I would not stay at this hotel if it was the last one in town. I would rather stay in my car. I ask your agent about hotels in the downtown area and he recommended it with a view and on the 8th with a view since I wanted to show my grandchildren and daughter how nice a town Vancouver, BC. My daughter is an world renown opera singer and has traveled the world. She was very disppointed with this hotel and since I told her that I used hotels.com to book this hotel she was suprised and said she would be re-considering using your web site for any future accomondations. Just stayed at the Ramada Vancouver Hotel & Suites for a little getaway in the big city. What a great location to everything in the city...stanley park is just a 10 minute walk, all the nightclubs and pubs are close by so we saved a bunch on not having to take cabs all over the place. Gotta say, the service is awesome at this hotel...Rajiv/Brandi and […] even the GM Ruxandra (hope I spelled that right!) were great helping us out with directions and recommendations. Really cool pub on site, Morrissey's. Mehr

The room was very clean, the staff were nice but the floor was so loud. I didn't even face Granville, but the noise in the hallway at 2am, 3am, 4am was ridiculous. Drunk idiots coming in, yelling and preventing any chance of a decent sleep.

If you can get passed the smell of body odor in the hallways, and get to your room, you should be fine. Don't go outside by yourself, there is NO door person or security there and you will be approached by street people. I would NOT stay there again

We have stayed at Ramada Inn's before and have been very happy but this hotel lacked a little lusta. The room was ok ,basic but ok and we didn't feel like we wanted to spend much time in it.Unfortunately the surrounding area to the hotel was filled with people begging,prostitutes and other undisirables.We were all for meeting the locals but not quite […] these locals. Coming from another country we didn't know the area when we booked the hotel and we felt quite unsafe leaving the hotel at night. Car parking was pretty disgusting. We were happy to see a camera was looking at the cars and being monitored by the hotel staff. We think for people who know Vancouver and choose to stay in this area all good but for someone from another country I would not recommend. Mehr

We were very pleased with our stay at the Ramada, great location, very friendly staff, they were remodeling/painting the lobby, looks very modern and great, the rooms little a little updating, but very comfortable, very convient to have the sleeper sofa seperated from the beds, large bathroom. Would recommend!

Pay a little extra and get a far better hotel. Uncomfortable beds, paper thin walls, much road noise, old rooms done up with a few "Band Aids". All staff were very pleasant however and most helpful - it is the hotel and the location, not the staff. I ignored the old guest comments and i now regret that as I should never have chosen this hotel.

This was my third trip to vancouver staying at this hotel. As usual, all was great! Thank you.

Great entertainment district hotel

I stayed at this hotel with a few friends of mine who were on a road trip. The hotel itself was adequate enough and the room seemed fairly up to date (LCD tv, nice bathroom, etc). The service was a little on the poor side, however. The staff didn't seem to really know what they were doing, often asking each other about the conditions of my reservation […] and potential refund (our group had to check out one day early). My biggest complaint would have to be the housekeeping, as we'd come back to our hotel to find the beds shoddily made, glasses still dirty, etc. All that aside, if you're looking for a no-frills hotel right on Granville, this is a fair choice. The Hotel was very nice and very clean we had only one thing that was a bit annoying and that was the floor when you walked on it made a terrible noise also the same noise came from the room above us when it was walked on. Sounded like loose floor boards. The staff were very obliging and pleasant.

Do not stay on Saturday nights. 300 young people at nightclub beside the hotel, screaming & yelling until 3am. Hardly got any sleep! Police sirens going off constantly as half a block down the street the entertainment section was blocked off from cars for 4 blocks. Noise level made me think I was at a Hockey game.

The size of the queen size bed was the size of the room. But..and with this 'but' I asked for another room and got it...thank you staff. The area is not the best with low rentals and assisted living for down and out people. Pleasing to know in city full of street people. Parking in Vancouver is at a premium. 30% parking tax by the city, gst/pst and […] $15 dollars per day by the hotel. Four days equal $100. Nice way to keep tourists out of the city. No extra's at all in this hotel but music was plentiful especially between 12 pm and 2 am and the humpida, humpida deep base really keeping the late night revellers happy. Though not an old dude this is not what I was paying for. The area is frought with night clubs and party goers and street people. The areas sidewalks are filthy with closed shops and shops of dubious means are around. I did like the one shop called "Dare to Wear"but my wife didn't...go figure. For a place to sleep the hotel is ok. For a place to stay for a few days it is not. Please check the rates when reserving as everything is based on an average. Wedid have a very clean room and was pleased the the elevator worked though only 2 or the 5 chipmonks were on duty at any one time. I was also curious as to the history of this hotel and was surprised at what I found out. My wife does not agree with my review for she thought it was not that bad, she gave a rating of 6 out of 10 and I would give a rating of 4 out of ten. Now I am being called cheap by my wife for, and I have to admit it was a quiet room in the sense that we could not hear the toilets flushing in the other rooms. Hallway noise is the same in any hotel so that was an equal I do admit the all the staff were very friendly, the quests were a mixed bunch, us included and the sun was out when it needed to be out. Love the city, love the shops and eating establishments regardless of the hotel. This is only my personal opinion and not to be taken with any slander towards the hotel, it was just the way i Mehr

When my friends and I arrived at the hotel we all had showers and when we were getting ready to go out our blow dryer did not work. Then shortly right after that we found a mouse in our room. We did get upgraded to a suit and our extra person and parking money back which we appreciated. Our beds were not very comfy. The elevator stopped working at one […] point. We had been out all night dancing and drinking and had to walk up the stairs to the 6th floor which we were not very happy about. I have been to this hotel once before and I was very pleased with my stay but I can not say that about this one I'm sorry. Mehr
