Wenige Gehminuten zum Park und Gebaeude des State Capitol. Etwa 20min. bis Oldtown Sacramento. Zimmer war gross mit extra Schlafzimmer. Das Bett fuer zwei Personen jedoch fuer amerikanische Verhaeltnisse mit etwa 1,40m eher schmal. Im Wohnzimmer gab es lediglich einen Sessel sowie aber einen Tisch mit zwei Stuehlen. War eher spaerlich und dunkel eingerichtet. […] Insgesamt bietet sich das Zimmer nur zum Uebernachten und nicht fuer einen laengeren Aufenthalt an. Beim Fruehstueck gab es Waffeln, Toast, Muesli, Aepfel, Tee, Kaffee, Saft, Ruehrei und Wuerstchen. Leider als Aufstrich nur Apfel- und Traubenmamelade. Mehr

The value for money and location of this hotel is very good. However the neighbourhood can get quite bad, especially at night. I'm constrained about talking on specific incidents, but in general terms there are quite a few bad people with bad intentions walking around this area at night.

Great location- just a block or so from th convention center. This hotel was a great value- the only down side is that its one of those hotels where there is only a door to the outside and one window so it's hard to get fresh air without bearing yourself to the world. This Hotel is one of the worst hotels I have stayed. The paint on the walls is peeling, mold in the bathroom, shower door came off the track, chan in toilet tank broke. Carpet was filthy. Elevator floor and surronding area has not been cleaned in months. I do not know how this can be a Quality Inn.

I choose this hotel because it was near the Convention Center, so that I wouldn't need to pay for parking while I was attending a conference over a weekend. However, I was not allowed to check in early or even leave my car in their nearly empty parking lot until the official check in at 3, so I wound up paying for parking anyway. I felt uncomfortable […] walking through the neighborhood and would not go outside by myself after dark. The breakfast was good. The staff did not acknowledge the guests when they were in the lobby for breakfast. Each morning, the phone was ringing at the front des and none of the staff was available to answer the phone. I had to wait at the desk for several minutes before someone would help me check out, even after calling out for a staff member. The room was clean, although the toilet did not flush properly and the heater/ac unit was extraordinarily loud (I had to turn it off at night to sleep). The power outlets in the room were not in an easy to reach place, with no outlets near the bed. I had to pull out a power strip from behind the dresser on the other side of the room in order to plug in my phone charger and computer. I would not recommend this hotel and I wil not be returning. Clean and good for price. Nosie area, but was fine if we left fan on. differnt places in walking distance. Parking if tight.

Only stayed here a night and it was ok. Desk clerk was very helpful, didn't like that there wasn't much parking and it was very narrow. Breakfast not the best but a nice to know I didn't have to go out and buy breakfast. Overall the price didn't break my wallet, but I'll probably end up staying somewhere else next time.

Paint peeling off if walls makes this place not worth it. A little time and money would spiff it up.

I was able to walk to Old Sacramento and there were a lot of places to eat close by. The hotel was OK, nut needed to be remodeled. Ceiling paint was coming off. Breakfast we good.

I have stayed here several times now. I love that you can walk to a ton of different places from here, including the IMAX. The neighborhood is not the greastet, but what downtown place is?

Stayed in Sac after coming home from Thanksgiving and I think the Quality Inn Downtown is a great place to relax! Check in was a breeze with a wondrful receptionist and the location was great for a few bars playing football. Retired to the room early for some very comfortable sleeping. However, the next morning I got locked out of my room while my boyfriend […] was in the shower and that mornings receptionist was very rude and was obviously taking it out on me. She wouldnt give me a key without ID which was locked away in my room. I found an old drivers license in my car and tried that but to no avail. FInally she grew so weary of me that she had me sign a paper and compared John Hancocks (15 min later!) from my initial checkin sig. Finally got in! Other than that everything was great! Awesome continental breakfast but my advice is to bring your own hot sauce because those eggs wont make themselves delicious Mehr

The price was good. The room was fine. The neighborhood was loud, with garbage trucks coming and going in the night. We really did not sleep comfortably, even for as tired as we were. I'm sure the garbage trucks don't come every night, we just got lucky. There were good restaurants in walking distance and parking at the motel.

First time into my room (303), I was surprised to not find a light switch just inside the door. In fact, I had to bumble around inside the room to find any light switch...this was extremely inconvenient and even dangerous!

This is a nice little place near downtown Sacto. It's perfect for business trips on a tight budget.

FRANCES AT THE FRONT DESK WAS EXCELLENT. THE BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING WAS GOOD TOO. MAKE YOUR OWN WAFFLES!! YUM!! WOULD RECOMMEND TO MY FRIENDS AND WOULD STAY AGAIN!!

Great location for the convention center. PF Chang near by. Torch Club was fun. All of walking distance. Good breakfast. I'd stay there again..

I have stayed at this hotel once before. It is fine if you are looking to save money. They do serve a hot breakfast. It is walking distance to lots and lots of restaurants (I recommend Cafeteria 15L) and to the IMAX theater. Will likely stay again next time I wish to visit downtown Sacramento.

Everything about this hotel was fine for a cheap place to say - except the beds. The mattresses were ridiculously firm, like concrete.

I loved the location -- very convenient to the Sacramento Convention Center for my conference. The hotel staff was friendly and the hot breakfast was convenient and decent, but be prepared for lots of loud fire truck sirens through the night. Rude guests also talked loudly and revved car engines at late hours in the tight parking lot right below the […] rooms. The morning I was leaving, however, I found yellow paint all over my white car. The motel manager just responnded a good rain would wash it off and that he wasn't responsible for the nighborhood hoodlums that regularly held paint ball gun wars on his property! He did say though he would warn motel guests to stay inside during these battles, for their own safety. Now I feel safe. Mehr

The check-in staff was great. The room and the surroundings are really rough. When the cab dropped us off I wasn't sure I wanted him to leave us. If you need a place to lay your head I guess this will do but I wouldn't stay here again, voluntarily. The one good thing was the rate. Went to Sacramento for a trade meeting. My regular hotels were sold out, so I decided on this place base on price and proximity to capitol. Hotel seems to be located in an Alley which was rather odd. Seems like a place for college students or super discount travelers. Seems like I was staying in a low security detention center because of all the super […] security doors to access the stairs or elevator. The room was an average Motel room the TV remote did not work. I wanted to watch some On-Demand TV/Movies and the service was broken. I decided to Iron my clothes I was broken missing the water refill plug so if I stood it up while Iron it spill out the water. Lobby was nice and the free breakfast was very nice also. If you need to stay here in a pinch its ok , but if you are looking for a little extra comfort and homeyness then i would look else where. Mehr

very clean room and a super great staff especially the woman who worked after 4pm on 3-5-11. i forgot her name but she was so nice, very friendly i appreciate her making things easy for me. i would come again.

Management removed all food for the Continental Breakfast approximately at 10:15 a.m. instead of the advertised 11:00 a.m. as posted. We were in breakfast area at 10:15 a.m. and they were cleaning up breakfast area. The manager would not look us in the eye, say anything nor did he appologize for his actions. Room was clean and comfy. Employees nice. I had to walk down an alley to my room on the third floor from the outside. The comp. breakfast was the best I have seen yet. Excellent food and variety and coffee was good.

The room was not clean, the towels were unorganized. There might have have been mold in the bathroom. I would rather pay a little more than stay here again.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY! I will explain briefly. At 5:30 AM, I was awakened by a mouse crawling over my foot, upon turning on the light, there were several mouse droppings in my bed. The critter sat on the table across from the bed, and stared at me, until, finally, jumping over to the hanging light electrical cord, to run away.

This hotel is in an amazing location and is cheap! They also serve a hot breakfast buffet. It is wonderful, stay here you will be happy that you did!!! : )

overall pleased. economical and convenient "depending on why your staying". close to bars ,restraunts and clubs. somewhat delapadated bathrooms as well as enough to be aware- outside noise and camotion. clean rooms great staff and great location. we will be staying again! big contentental breakfast..

The woman manager at check in was very nice. You get what you paid for. Good enough to have some place to sleep for the night. The breakfast was a plus. We got to make our own waffles. They had eggs and sausages. Would stay again for that price.

Easy to find, Frances was great checking us in and was very kind, graceful and informative.

I found the Quality Inn to be one of the cleanest motel's Ihave stayed in, even the corners at the baseboard in the bathroom. The Inn is older but in excellent repair. The locatin was excellent relative to the convention center. I would stay there again.

The motel was a nice place, the room was fine since it was only used to sleep in as the carpet did need a cleaning, but something we could overlook, but over it was as expected for what we paid. I would still recommend this motel for anyone just wanting someplace to lay down at night

Room nice, clean. Parking was under rooms, so in shade, but very tight spaces. Pool was ice cold even after a 100+ degree day. Neighborhood okay, but not one I would go out walking in at night. Breakfast was good; sausage, eggs, make your own waffles, fruit, yogurt, toast, juice, coffee. We especially liked the opportunity to make our own waffles. We had the 3rd floor suite over the swimming pool. It was quiet except for the fireworks, which is why we there. Room was big. Only problem was the refridgerator was not working and light switch panels where inconvieniently placed. Other than that, it was great and private.

Old hotel needs a huge renovation. However, staff is great and I felt safe even in the seedy neighborhood. No frills but close to the Capitol.

Very nice admissions clerk, beautiful room, very clean, quiet area in downtown and great breakfast area. Will definately stay here again - GREAT HOTEL !!!

hotel was just as I expected, only downside was the amount of construction noise, but that wasn't anything they could help, since it wasn't on their property!
