Loved the Days Inn, everyone was super helpful and knowledgable. The hotel is right off the 134, and very close to everything (Glendale galleria, restaurants, Porto's, et cetera) one qualm would be that there were no microwaves/fridges in our room, we didn't mention it or make a fuss, not a big deal, but it would have been nice. Overall I was very satisfied […] and the price is affordable+appropriate for this establishment in Glendale :) Mehr

Hotel is a bit old but worth the price. The restaurant is very economical and the service was great!

Extremely considerate in arranging a room near elevator as my daughter on crutches. Lots of handicapped parking. It's a perfect location--at least for me. Everything was perfect and I will use the hotel again as my family is nearby.

The host/hostesses where very pleasant. They rsponded farely quick when asked for an iron and ioning board. The restraurent was clean and the host was very attentive no matter what time of day we went in. We were always acknowledged when we came into the hotel as well as when we left. When one of our neighbors became noisey, security came right up […] and took care of the problem immediately. We will consider staying at this Days Inn the next time we are in the area. Mehr

Since we needed a dog friendly room, we were put in a smoking room. The room was not that bad, but the smell of smoke was there.

I've stayed here a few times. The people at the counter are always very friendly, and they give me a quiet room without a fuss. There are a few drawbacks: the Internet never works for me (the clerks couldn't get it to work on my phone, either), parking is free but at a premium, there's no breakfast, but no refrigerator or microwave either, and you either […] have to walk at the cafe downstairs, which isn't bad, or walk pretty far under the freeway to get food, unless you're willing to give up your precious parking spot. The bed is big and very comfortable, with a bunch of pillows, the a/c and furnace work great, there's security and at least a couple people behind the desk at all hours. We've stayed here frequently during the last six months. Older property that is diligently kept up by the staff and management. The on-premises restaurant is a wonderful complement to the hotel. It has consistently well-prepared meals at amazingly modest prices in a clean and attractive setting. This place is one of the best we have found in this price […] range. Mehr

What a great place to stay over the holidays! The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Loved it!

Great Stay for 5 nights. We especially enjoyed the Christmas decorations.....very welcoming. The front desk staff was very helpful in getting me directions from Google of where I wanted to go. I did not have time to do this before i left. The accompanying restaurant staff was very hospitabile, Bruce and his wife Amy were excellent !!!

This was a great location since trying to get as close to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl events without paying extremes amount of money! Right next to the 134, very quiet and the staff was very sweet. A great place to stay if you won't be spending a lot of time in the room. Ample parking in big lot across the street. Restaurant in the building is adequate, bar is minimal. Service was friendly, and the room was always clean. My room was on the parking lot side and had bright lights outside all night.

We have stayed here a couple times in the past year. Dollar for dollar it is a real winner. Several other reviews here are less positive but as I read the complaints people list I have to say that our experience was much better. One of the better things about it is the on-premesis restaurant. It offers nicely prepared food at amazingly reasonable prices […] in a nice atmosphere. This hotel is very well located, close to shopping mall and Hwy. But the first 3 nights, we had a cockroach wellcoming us in the bathroom.

very helpful staff, quiet clean room, very comfortable bed. room decor ok ; ac upgraded and works well The lobby is kind of run down and in need a remodel but you don't stay in the lobby. Close enough to major tourist attractions--only 5-7 miles from Hollywood and Universal Studios. However, far enough away to not have to pay an arm and a leg for a room. Very convenient highway access. Saw a cockroach in the hallway wall on the way to our room. Hope we didn't bring any back. Got back to the hotel at about 9 p.m. one night, and had to […] hunt for a parking spot. Clean room, very heavy doors (= sound proof). Not a very broad selection of cable channels, of course, not the ones we watch. Overall a good stay. We would recommend it, and would go back. Mehr

worst night's sleep of my life...i didn't sleep at all...as bed bugs or lice or something ate away at my flesh...mattress should have been retired years ago and the pillows were a joke....give me a break....you'd think with a chain like this, someone would get a clue...it was bad....BAD.

To call this place a dive is charitable. Filthy bedspread and ruffle, stained carpets, torn wallpaper, no baseboards, dilapidated mattress, broken elevator buttons, etc. The overuse of carpet perfume does not make the room clean! All I wanted was a simple, clean room; I was sorely disappointed.

When the too skinny, inked up girl missing teeth in a mini-skirt is paying cash for the night...something is up. Oh, the hotel is connected with an unnamed extended stay...it was scary. Was so glad to check out, thank god it was just a place to crash between meetings.

My family & I really liked this hotel! The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean (the pillows were great by the way)and I liked the bathrooms... the shower had enough hot water and were well supplied and there was enough parking space. This is going to be our regular hotel whenever we travel down south. It makes me want to go on vacation […] again! Mehr

First off, let me note that this hotel is attached to an "Extended Stay" motel, meaning many people live there full time. There are signs in the hotel that they are not affiliated, but I don't understand how this is so considering they are ATTACHED. I mention this because I didn't see it noted anywhere on this website or the company's website. This […] would have affected my decision to stay there. Instead, we arrived, in a very ghetto part of Glendale, right off the freeway, and we could hardly believe this was where we were staying. It looks like a motel. We checked in and immediately decided to leave as the hotel was filthy. It smells horrible with the stench of wet dogs...I love animals and have stayed at hotels with my dog before, so I know that a hotel can be clean and allow dogs at the same time...not so here. The hallways of the hotel had trash strewn about and the room we got smelled horrible. When in the room, we actually saw a flea, which I'm sure means that there are hundreds of thousands more that we didn't see. We went downstairs to speak to the front desk girl who actually told us that this happens all the time...people get there and then leave immediately...not surprising considering the hotel and neighborhood. We debated staying and walked out to the car to get some things, and when we walked in the girl told us she thought we had left for good and had started checking us out. We told her we were thinking of staying considering we were in the area for a wedding (we hadn't yet seen the fleas) and went back up to the room. Almost immediately we saw a flea and at that point we were done. We went back down to leave the hotel and the front desk girl told us she WOULD NOT check us out, because then we would get our money refunded...isnt that the point? Completely mad by this point, I had her print out a piece of paper from the hotel to signify that we had left. She refused to put a time on it and the paper said we were checking out the next day (not true as Mehr

We stayed 1 night at the Days Inn Gelndale when on a road trip around California. Found the hotel to be excellent value for money -very clean and a convenient location just off the freeway. Staff were very helpful and the room was spotless. We had a room on the 6th floor with a little balcony which was nice to sit and watch the setting sun. This hotel was ok Nothing more nothing less than a motel six or eight Its the kind of place to stay one night or two, thats it. It needs big time remodeling inside the outside is just right. I strongly believe the service staff (housekeepers, front desk) they do the best they can with what management has to offer.

Employees were nice and the room was clean our toliet ran all night the first night told front desk before we left for the morning and was fixed by the time we returned, next to the freeway but not much noise and we kept our slider door open all night, we would use this place again and tell anyone that was coming to Glendale. The hotel didn't have flat screen TV's, as a hotel at twice the price would and the restaurant was basic, but it was clean, had free Wi-Fi, located right at the freeway exit and entrance. The bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed. For me, saving half the $$$ of a Hilton or Embassy Suites was a good call.

Before for Glendale we heard some unfortunate things about the Hotel. Upon arrival, however, wewere quit e pleasantly surprised. The Hotel was in fair conditio, but coud definitely use some upgrades. The room itself was clean and pleasant enough, although we had many problems with the room key not working, and the fan in the bathroom did not work. The […] staff were very freindly and helpful. Only one problem: parking. We ended up paying a fine of $52 because there was no parking on the street on Thursday mornings because of street cleaning. Too bad no one told us.

This hotel is nice place to stay . It is easy to get on the freeway and there is a restaurant on the same property if you get hungry.

Great nightly rates and close to freeway and attractions.

It was a bit confusing at first whether we were at a hotel or apartment. I guess it is a bit of both. But the apartment tenants enter from a different location and don't use the same elevator as the hotel guests. The room was pleasant and comfortable. Room was clean and neat and staff nice. Neighborhood was comfortable and close to multiple business services.

I and my family had a good time in this hotel. We had come over there for a day's trip and it was a pleasant experience. Checkin and checkout was easy and without hassles. Room and restroom were clean. There was not much to complain about. We ordered breakfast from Pioneer restaurant adjoining to the hotel and it was ok. Room service was prompt. Stayed here for 3 nights while in a friend's wedding in L.A. Is an older hotel in need of updating but the room was fairly clean. We did find one dirty crusty spot on carpet and they sent someone up right away to clean it. She was very friendly and even gave us tips on where to eat in the area. The pool was open but still a bit chilly to swim in March […] but the hot tub was not working and was closed off which was a disappointment. The bar in the hotel was a good size and had very friendly bar staff. Overall if I needed another budget accomodation I would consider staying again. Mehr

I have stayed here in the past and had a nice room. This time it smelled weird and not all of the lights in the room worked. The toilet was leaking. I was quite disappointed for the price I paid.

Clean rooms and corridors, pool etc. Awesome staff attitude and service! Best Hotel in or around LA for the price. I've stayed in 200 rooms that fell short of this! Do it if you need cheap. And lees than 10 min from magic Mtn (Six Flags) and lot of other styff!

Although the location of this hotel was perfect for our travel needs, I will drive out of the way rather than stay at this hotel again. It was old and run down, and connected to an extended stay hotel with people that made me uncomfortable. There were many extended stay residents with dogs so we were awakened by barking dogs very early. The room must […] have been a smoking room at some point because it smelled of old stale smoke. They tried to hide the smell with an overpowering room freshener that me so sick we had to put in on the balcony. Horrible one night at this hotel. Never again\. Mehr

Our stay at the Days Inn was "okay". The room was comfortable and clean and it had a safe which was one of the things I look for. However, one of the most important things I look for is free wireless and although they advertise it, it is impossible to get a connection. The front desk was very nice upon check in and gave us three passwords (2 ipods and […] a laptop) however we never could log on with the laptop and the ipod connection kept dropping. So if you are looking for wireless stay somewhere else. If you don't need wireless it is a good hotel pretty close to everything Burbank and Hollywood. Mehr
