Das Zimmer war total in Ordnung, das Bett bequem. Nur den Straßenlärm hat man auch im 9. Stock noch gehört, aber dass wir uns an mehreren Hauptstraßen/Autobahnen einquartiert hatten, war uns bekannt. Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang waren eher desinteressiert & mäßig nett. Der Frühstücksservice ließ allerdings sehr zu wünschen übrig. Freiwillig wurden weder Butter noch Teller aufgefüllt - erst nach Aufforderung kam irgendwann Nachschub.

Sehr gut und komfortabel ausgestattes Zimmer mit Kingsize Bett. Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Gut gelegen im Viertel der Universität, Internet und kostenloser Parkplatz, sowie Aufzug. Jederzeit wieder.

Dieses Hotel liegt zwar nahe Downtown, aber inmitten eines Industrie-Gebietes und unmittelbar an einem Highway... Aber für den Preis ist es echt OK, WiFi und Frühstück inklusive. Zu Fuß nach Downtown 20min, Tankstelle und Restaurant gleich gegenüber.
Lage
Norman-Days Inn liegt in Norman in der Nähe von: Sooner Mall, University of Oklahoma und Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Fred Jones Jr.Museum of Art und Bizzell Library.

"disgusting/will NEVER stay again"
This place was horrible. I wouldn't even say we "got what we paid" for. The condition of the room and fixtures were nasty. It was clear that the room had not been cleaned in some time. The bathroom was clean and that was it. The door to the bathroom, if you want to call it a door, was made of plywood and had wholes kicked through it. Why even leave […] it barely hanging on the hinges? Just take it down and hang up sheet! The lighting fixtures had sticky film on them. I had to get napkins to turn on the light. The condition of this room was completely deplorable. You could hear everything going on in the adjoining rooms. The other guests were nosey and rude. DO NOT Stay at this motel! Mehr

The lady behind the desk when I checked in was quite rude and wouldn't let me finish my questions before interrupting me. The price and room were good but I don't think I would stay there again.. Because of the service.......
"Stick shower floor"
Hotel was inexpensive and as such you expect a certain level of quality. There was no reason there were so many bigs, dirty towels, or a sticky shower floor. Will not use again.
"to much of an industrial area"
Our stay was very good. As this was a walk-up, the staff was good enough to give us a room on the first floor. We really alpprecated that as we are senior people. However, this hotel is in need of some renovations. It is very old. Also the direction to the hotel are not very clear as there is road work coming off the I-35 and you cannot access the road […] without doing a detour.I Mehr
"Days Inn Norman-disgusting!!"
This hotel room was horrendous!! The only room available was a smoking room. Didn't matter to us as long as it was clean. Well, it obviously had not been clean in quite some time. There was nasty, sticky "stuff" on the lamps as well as the telephone. The bathroom door was a plywood door that had holes in it as well as it not being able to be closed […] all the way. It was disgusting!! Needless to say, we DID NOT stay in the room but maybe for a few hours. I could not take the condition of the room or the other "tenants" in the other rooms. Very creepy and will never ever stay there again. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone else. Mehr
"Days Inn in Norman, OK"
Perhaps worth what we paid for, but the conditions and close surroundings of hotel were really poor. We booked a non-smoking room, but as soon as we went in it was clear that they only put a non smoking sign on top of the tv that morning when they cleaned it up: it reeked like cigarette smoke, there were cigarette burn marks on the tub and and bed covers, […] and our pajamas smelled like cigarette smoke the following day when we pulled them out of the suite case. The AC unit in the room was REALLY loud, like something was rattling inside. We were on the first floor and there were people grilling and smoking outside until late. There was even a cart filled with junk that must have belonged to a bum, parked under the staircase near our room. The morning of the our first night stay when we asked for an extra large bath towel they were only able to provide us with a small one, as they did not have anything else clean at the time. Aside from the nasty smell in the room and the loud AC, the room seemed clean, although there was only one little shampoo, and no conditioner or lotion like other Days Inns provide. Also, the mini fridge was missing parts and needed defrosting. The pool is 20 feet away from the highway, practically on the sidewalk, it is about 20 square feet big and it was covered with a tarp. The rooms and hotel in general are in dire need of remodeling. The complimentary breakfast was decent, with home made waffles and biscuits and gravy. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made up for what was less satisfying. Mehr

"Convenient Location, Best bang for buck ever!"
Lets face it, for the price you pay, you can't beat it. beds were not 5 star, but condition and amenities, including the continental breakfast made it well worth our stay.

"gauge a motel"
i rate a motel / hotel by the quality of their towels. this days inn has the worst towels i seen in a long time. definately would not stay there again.

Great price for that hotel, but I didn't sleep that night because of the interstate noise. If I stay in that city again I will choose a difference place

clearly if you like housekeeping walking in on you at 9:30 am.. and then having them call your room non stop at 10am to make sure you know that check out is at 11am.. then this is the place for you.... i was absolutely disapointed with the whole experience.. i tried checking in at 5pm and they did not have a room ready for me... and to further establish […] my frustration with this hotel, when i went to take a shower after i woke up, i noticed multiple hairs on the shower wall, and drain.. so if you think you are getting a good rate at this hotel, let me make this clear.. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!!!!!! lousy, lousy service. Mehr

The location of the hotel was excellent. The room was clean but small and the bathroom was extremely small!! The breakfast was very limited and not very well managed. The hotel served my purpose (overnight stay) but if I was going to stay a couple days I may find another hotel.

"Great Experience"
2 stays, one week apart. Big , clean room. Breakfast included. There's an attendant in the breakfast area who answers questions and who makes your waffle(s) for you. Easy in, easy out, right on Interstate 35 in Norman. And pet-friendly.

Nice clean hotel. Nothing fancy but good place to stop on a road trip. Price was very affordable.

The staff was very helpful and considerate. Especially the gentleman serving breakfast. He helped me get breakfast ready for my three children and myself. Only letdown was my key not working when I checked in. Comfortable room, nice experience. Will stay there again.

So gross I slept fully clothed, including the hood up on my hooded sweatshirt so that none of my skin touched the covers. So gross I did not even risk sitting on the toilet much less taking a shower. I even used my sleeve when pressing the buttons on the phone. I am by no means a germ-a-phobe but this place is disgusting.

"Norman - Days Inn, Norman, OK"
For the price, location and staff, I would stay at this motel again when I am back in the area. The breakfast they provided was very good.
"You get what you pay for"
The price was right (thanks to a Hotels.com discount) and the hotel is easy to get to if you are cruising through Norman on I-35. That said, the hotel is kind of shabby and the old, saggy mattress meant that I woke up with a stiff shoulder the next morning. My wife slept poorly too, as we kept bumping into each other in the hammock/bed.

"Beds are hard as rock!"
Woke up with a cramp in my neck on Wednesday morning due to those rock hard beds and it's now Friday night and the cramp is still there. Take an air mattress with you if you stay here... My $40 down feather pillow from home didn't even help me sleep cause the crack heads above me partying all night and stomping around. I wouldn't stay here again even […] if it was free. Mehr

The room was shabby, but clean. The front desk people were very friendly. The hotel was easy to find. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. I was in town for a funeral, but if I were to return to Norman, I would probably stay there again.

I have stayed at this motel for 6 nights, the staff is great! Very nice and fast service! The room is OK for the price nothing grand and could use major updating. This hotel is noisy there are allot of construction workers or other type of industrial union workers that stay here that party all night and make plenty of noise playing loud music and the […] location close to the interstate you can hear trucks cars and motorcycles drive by at all hours of the night (the traffic never quits). The Breakfast is good and staff are always there to help you make waffles! So in summery: If you can handle the noise, and the outdated decor, this hotel is rather nice and inexpensive, for what you get it is worth the price! PS. Take the top floor cause these labor workers get up at 5:00 AM!! And walk loud on your ceiling not respecting you or anyone else cause they are concerned about themselves, and of course those they partied with that night (keeping you awake!!) Mehr

the staff is the best! even better that 5 star hotels they genuinely make you feel like you are a first class customer! The rooms are not much to talk about but they are clean but out dated. over all for the price you can't ask for better in Norman!
"Functional, but not so comfortable."
The hotel is fine for what it is: a functional place to sleep. The room was a little darker than expected, and the furniture/floor was a bit more run down than expected — the floor actually had a hole in the carpet with sticky stuff coming out of it near the bathroom entrance. The hotel staff at night were not very friendly, but the next morning the staff was very nice. The room was not very clean. The carpet was sticky when I walked on it barefoot. The bed had cigarette burn holes in the sheets and the fitted sheet had stains on it. The bathroom was clean, thankfully. The breakfast was not great. There were no individual […] milk containers for cereal- just a tiny fridge with a couple of gallons for everyone to share. The cereal I got was stale. Overall the was not a great place. "Nice Hotel for the price"
It is an older looking hotel, but room was clean and bed and pillows were comfortable. It had a fridge and microwave in it. Bathroom was small but clean. Would stay there again.

Overall it is a decent place to stay for the money we spent. We were staying in a nonsmoking room, and it smelled very musty. Suppose to serve a "hot" breakfast, but its nothing special. Located right off the interstate. We were here for my daughter to register for college from out of state and this was a "recommended" hotel. "Good Service, Good Room Amenities"
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and they treated me and my girlfriend respectfully. The room we stayed in was smoking and at the end of the building, so the room smelt terrible and we had to listen to people talking on their cell phones. Other than that, the room had a comfy bed, good tv, a microwave, refrigerator, and a chair with foot […] rest. I'm not sure if we had to ask for coffee, but our room didn't have coffee with its coffee maker. I checked into the hotel quickly and the staff was very friendly. I am a female, and was staying by myself with a child, and they were more than happy to accomodate me for an upper floor room for my personal safety. The room was clean and the air conditioner was nice and cold. Located right next to a wal-mart, it made it easy for me to head over there […] and buy things I had forgotten. Only drawback is the short 3 hours breakfast was available. Other than that, I'll definitely stay there again when I'm in the area. Mehr
The location is good for access to resturants, but the room has a very musty smell and did not feel very clean. The rooms are old and in need of updating.

"Sooners Days Inn - accomodating"
When we arrived late at night, we were put in a double bed occupancy, when our Motels.com had reserved a suite for us. We had to have a suite for our numbers, so we went back to the desk and they got us a suite! We also took adavantage of the popcorn in the lobby. as a motel we stayed at later, wouldn't pop corn completely in it's microwave.
