You can't beat the price for a last minute change of plans! The hotel receptionist was AWESOME!!! Very professional and helpful and very friendly! I was truly impressed with her!!! The rooms were comfortable, but the grounds was trashy. The breakfast was like, "if you don't get it now, that's it". The attendant wasn't the most helpful.....we were literally […] "scrapping" the bottom of the sausage gravy crock pot. It was about 2 danishes left and she wasn't trying to put more out...she said it ended at 9am....it may have been 8:30am, Anyway, if it wasn't for the receptionist, I would give Days Inn a 2, but because of her, I will rate you guys a 4! I really felt that she cared about our safety and satisfaction of the room. Give her a raise!!!!! (And I don't know her). You stand to make some improvements as far as cleanliness! Mehr

There is only do much paint can cover! Dead cock roach outside, which I guess is better than live ones inside! Staff not overly friendly or helpful, coffee maker didn't work, and no late check out available.

It was a nice hotel. Just a pretty good taxi ride to the French Quarter is the only thing.

Pretty noisy all night and a very bad breakfast spread. Short staffed.

When the room was cleaned the towels weren't replaced, we had to ask 2 days in a row for new towels. There wasn't a liner in the trash bin. The door does not have a seal on it so you can still see outside and bugs come in the room. We checked in on a Friday and the WiFi didn't work until Tuesday. There is a horrible stain ont he chair that sits at the […] desk. The hotel is in need of a makeover! It does not meet my standards for the price I paid to stay here for 9 days. Mehr

This hotel really was pretty gross. The tiny bathroom was not clean and the carpet was visibly stained in many places. Plus, there was a piece of gum mashed into it right in the middle of the walk-way. The beds are also rock hard. The morning of our check-out we went swimming and watched as some one went into our room. Looked like he was collecting […] the dirty towels, but I did not like that as we had not checked out yet and we left our stuff sitting out and could have easily been stolen or whatever. It was not, but still unnecessary, why not just wait until we leave? The breakfast was pretty good, had make your own waffles, but I cannot recommend this hotel. We stayed here after staying in other Days Inn motels on our vacation. On arrival from the outside it looked nice, the neighborhood looked okay but when we got in our room there was the typical smell but then we found chips covered in ketchup on the floor and an old dirty sock. The telephone and alarm clock weren't working as they were broke and there […] were holes in the walls that had been filled with rubbish. We went down and complained to management and they apologised and changed our room for us. The next room was slightly better but still smelt and the alarm clock couldn't be plugged is as the prongs on the plug were broke. Again there were holes in the walls filled with rubbish. We gave up complaining, the beds were comfy enough and the location wasn't bad but this hotel is in serious need of repairs and probably new cleaning staff who know what they are doing. Mehr

The hotel is o.k. for short stay or just overnight travelers. Delay upon check-in. Had to contact hotel.com office to clear up problem. No ice; no towels were left in room after cleaning. We were told that you must fill out a request for towels.

This hotel was horrible! Nasty, disgusting, with bed bugs an big cock roaches!! I wouldn wish this hotel on my worst enemies

I didn't appreciate the surrounding areas or the choice of activities. Pool wasn't very useful either.

This hotel has a serious problem with their lock and key system. There were 4 different people at the desk when I check in whom keys did not open their doors. I had the same problem, the key wouldn't open the door a lot of time. You had to try numerous attemps or get house keeping to open your door. This was a serious security issue at night. I was almost scared off by negative reviews from 2009 but I was satisfied. This is an economy hotel- easy on/off I-10 ...1/2block on service road..good roadway Good local eats nearby {Mexican-Seafood-MAMAs' Place two blcks away}.
