Stilgemäßes Art-Deco-Hotel für einen Aufenthalt mitten drin in Miami Beach. Sehr schönes Ambiente in der Lobby. Zwar ist das Personal viel Kommen und Gehen von Gästen gewöhnt, trotzdem noch positive, freundliche Routine.

In dieser Preiskategorie sicher eines der besten Hotels. Saubere und moderne Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal. Einzig negativ ist die Poolanlage. Mobiliar verbraucht und lädt nicht zum planschen ein. Pool ist auch sehr klein. Habe keine Gäste gesehen die sich dort aufgehalten haben. Aber ansonst sehr zu empfehlen da in kurzer entfernung(3min. Fußweg) Supermärkte, Restaurants und andere Geschäfte vorhanden. Von 6 Hotels in dieser Preisklasse die wir in Florida besuchtt haben, eindeutig das beste Hotel.

Hervorragende Lage ein Block vom Ocean Drive und dem wunderbaren Strand entfernt. Äußerst freundlicher Service. Die Standardzimmer sind klein aber sehr zweckmäßig und nett im Art Deco Stil eingerichtet. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Pool auf der Dachterrasse. Es werden kostenlos Liegen und Handtücher am Strand zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr zu empfehlen für Gäste die direkt in der Nähe des Art Deco Viertels übernachten möchten.

Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Miami Kendall liegt in Flughafennähe in Miami (South Miami). Folgende Sehenswürdigkeiten befinden sich in der Umgebung: Wings Over Miami Museum, Miami Metrozoo und The Gold Coast Railroad Museum.

Die University of Miami grenzt an den eleganten Außenbezirk South Miami, in dem es noch Gebiete mit Häusern im mediterranen Stil aus den 1920er Jahren gibt. Dieses Gebiet ist auch von großer archäologischer Bedeutung. Im Deering Estate in Cutler gibt es Spuren menschlicher Existenz, die bereits 10.000 Jahre alt sind. Außerdem befindet sich hier ein Grabhügel der amerikanischen Ureinwohner aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. In der Nähe davon tollen 400 Primaten durch den Monkey Jungle, der ebenfalls ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel in dieser Gegend ist.

Sehr freundliches Personal, Zimmer gross und gepflegt. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und abwechslungsreich. Ein großes Einkaufcenter befindet sich in der Nähe.
"Gute Erreichbarkeit"
Verkehrsgünstige Lage, alle Städte im Großraum Miami sind schnell erreichbar. Die Anfahrtszeit zu einer Veranstaltung in Homestead-Miami (30 Meilen) belief sich auf rd. 1/2 Stunde. Trotz guter Verkehrsanbindung ruhige Lage. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden, das Hotel liegt im Randbereich einer Mall. Die zum Hotel führenden […] Highways sind mautpflichtig, die Abrechnung erfolgt ausschließlich elektronisch über den Sunpass oder per Toll-by-Plate, Mauthäuschen für eine Barzahlung gibt es nicht mehr. Bei einer direkten Anreise vom Flughafen sollte man die Details mit der Autovermietung klären. Bei einigen Vermietern muss der Sunpass hinzugebucht werden, bei anderen wird er automatisch bei der ersten Durchfahrt einer Mautstation aktiviert. Die Abrechnung erfolgt über die bei Anmietung hinterlegte Kreditkarte. P.S.: Dies gilt im übrigen für alle mautpflichtigen Highways in Florida. "Gute Lage, sehr netter Service"
Wir haben das Hotel als erste Übernachtung vor Übernahme unseres Wohnmobils gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Personal an der Rezeption war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. "Schönes Hotel, etwas abseits"
Das Hotel ist sehr schön, gepflegt und sauber. Es liegt direkt an einer Mall, wo man abends noch einkaufen und essen kann. Allerdings ist Kendall ziemlich außerhalb im Südwesten von Miami, wenn man das Nachtleben von Miami genießen will, sollte man eher ein Hotel im Zentrum nehmen. "Gut gelegen, tolles Frühstück"
Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, man ist schnell auf dem Turnpike oder auf der Interstate. Die Anlage ist zwar schon etwas älter, aber gut unterhalten. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Besonders begeistert hat uns das echte Geschirr beim Frühstück!

"Kendall Hotel"
Overall, if you need to stay in the Kendall area as I did, the location is great. The hotel's exterior is better than the inside. The rooms are comfortable and they offer complimentary breakfast- which is really good. However, the carpets in the hallways and the room we were in needed to be cleaned. There were stains and didnt look clean.

Clerk gave me the right key but wrong room, went had key redone it worked. We were positvely surprised by the hotel. In our opinion a good quality for a good price. We would book it again. By car round about 15 to 20 minutes to Miami harbour, I think no problem at all. Close to the hotel is a shopping area were you can find a supermarket, drugstore, restaurants....

Breakfast was a disappointment. By the third morning I was not looking forward to watery oatmeal, unappealing pastries, ordinary bread slices and apples and bananas.

The hotel and staff itself is fine. My only complaint is the club across the lake plays really LOUD club music all night until 2AM Thursdays through Sat nights. I am a light sleeper and this is not good! needless to say i did not get much or any sleep these nights. I thought there was a club under my room, it was riduculously loud and bad. "My stay"
Great place to really have a good rest. The room was inmaculate, the staff friendly and coffee available all the time. I really enjoyed it because smells so clean and bathroom well kept. I definitely will comeback in the future. I don't really do reviews but this one deserves it.

Excellent in most respects, not luxurious .. but very good value for its price range e.g. large room, comfortable beds, breakfast included. Had some misgivings about layout of bathroom / toilet (enclosed) but with the washbasin in separate location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent location for shopping in Miami.
we could not sleep because of loud laughing and music around our window on 2nd floor. I called desk they said bar around hotel closes at 2am. We had small child with us, very difficult.

"Okay for a night or two"
We were in town for a triathlon so this was a convenient location. The room was a bit musty when we first entered but the windows open and the fresh air made a world of difference. We only stayed for one night and when we needed to shower on Sunday morning we discovered that the water was luke warm. It turns out that the boiler broke down during the […] night; these things happen, not much you can do but I witnessed many unhappy customers at the front desk during our checkout. The room was typical, nothing fancy and the free breakfast included many choices and was quite enjoyable. I would have no trouble choosing this hotel again. Mehr

The hotel is very well located in Kendall. Lots of good shopping and places to eat like La Carreta, Casavana and Cadillac Ranch. Parking spaces always available. Safe parking. The location and services at this facility were excellent with one exception. I found the WiFi signal to be a little weak. I chose this location for business purposes and really needed to get online each night. The online service was hit and miss. Otherwise, the facility and staff were top-notch.

If you're in Miami on vacation, I don't recommend Kendall as it's not close to areas you'll want to visit (South Beach, downtown, Coconut Grove, etc). If you're visiting friends and/or family in the Kendall area, however, the hotel is clean, conveniently located, and a great deal for the price.
