Hallo, das Hotel ist top! Sauber, leise (kommt ja eh auf die Gäste an) und das Frühstück ist auch okay. Parkplätze direkt vorm Haus, freundliches und hilfreiches Personal. Shoppingmöglichkeiten und Restaurants liegen auch sehr nah am Hotel. This was a great hotel! Our only issue was due to the lack of supervision of the children in the hotel. There was a little league or soccer tournament staying there and the children were unruly. We were awaken by them running through the halls, and could never catch an elevator because the kids were playing on them more often than not. We got up early […] for breakfast hoping to beat the crowd but saw the kids digging into the food without using the appropriate serve ware and decided to just ho to Cracker Barrel. Mehr

Very well run hotel, very clean, very friendly staff, and near plenty of casual dining options. Only draw back is the built up humidity in the guest room from the air conditioning--management needs to figure out a way to get that moisture out of the rooms.

Relaxing

Second time I have stayed in a Hyatt Place. Both time the hotel and staff have been great. Hotel is a bit hidden, but if you wacth for the sign on the side of the road you will be alright.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. The room is as big and beautiful as it is on the website and reasonably priced The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location.

Excellent stay. It was very relaxing and the staff were great.

This hotel always has a very friendly and helpful staff whenever I come in to stay. They actually remembered me from a stay three months prior. Rooms are always clean, roomy and have all the amenities that one would need for a long or short stay. The coffee/treat bar downstairs near checkout is a real plus when you have a late night return and would […] like a little something to take back to your room. The breakfast is actually better here than I have had at other hotels with the "breakfast included" service. Everything is fresh, most times right out of the oven which is right there on the other side of the serving buffet. This is not your usual breakfast dry frozen waffles, eggs that have been sitting there since 4 am and concentrated OJ. They do a really good job setting themselves apart from the other hotels. Mehr

For the price, it's hard to beat a place like this. It has a suite set-up, so it is very roomy (and if you need a place for an extended stay where you can bring in your own groceries, etc., it would work very well). It is nicely decorated (although the sink was a little high for my little ones) and very clean. There is breakfast in the morning, too, […] which has all the basics covered....you certainly won't leave hungry! If ever I am staying in Birmingham again, I will stay here, and I will look for other Hyatt Places on my travels elsewhere. Mehr

I was very impressed with this hotel. It cost no more than other hotels around that have not been as nice. Staff were helpful and friendly and the room was great. I will definitely stay there again.

Hotel is in a great location - convenient to everything. The hotel staff is outstanding and very accommodating! We go through Birmingham several times a year and always stay at this hotel.

Only complaint was that the sheetstime get changed every other day and not everyday. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel was great. Surrounding area and high-traffic roads were super busy, but hotel was seemingly away from it all in a green, well designed office park, Inverness. A car is a must to get to many nearby restaurants and stores.

All I can say is... OMG! Though it was for one night, this was one of the BEST hotel experiences I've had! I'm a professional musician and I travel a lot. The hotel was ideally placed with very easy access to the strip for shoppping, the interior was very nicely decorated, the staff was professional and courteous, and the room was to die for! The HUGE […] sofa and lounge area and 42" plasma were wonderful and the bed was so comfortable, it had me thinking I had died and gone to heaven! Overall, a wonderful, wonderful place. I will DEFINITELY be making a return trip and staying for more days than one! Mehr

The best part of our stay was the very friendly staff.

Very nice room at the price that we paid for it. We will probably stay there again on our way to North Carolina. Only complaint would be that the road was poorly lit.

I had never stayed at a Hyatt, so I wasn't sure of what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! They have a kiosk where you can check in, check out, and review your account. I found this to be very convenient. Also, they offer reasonably priced small meals, drinks, and desserts - all available 24 hours per day. So, my daughter and I could fulfill our […] late night hunger. The complimentary breakfast was very light, but you can special order other stuff at the "Gallery" kitchen if you like. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff - from housekeeping to front desk - was very professional in appearance and courteous in dealing with the guests. Long story short, if I return to the area, I will not hesitate to stay at the Hyatt! Mehr

I will never stay at the hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone. Check in process took 40 mins. Also at check I was ask when I was checking out which was four days later, the lady wrote down my check out date. The next morning at 7:00 the phone rings, which woke up my wife and kids, the front desk wanted to know when i was checking out. I […] informed them that I was not checking out for until Mon, this was friday AM. I still dont know why they had to have that information at 7:00 am. The next morning we were awakened by the fire alarm , some one smoking in their room.....Also we had a total of 6 channels on the the TV that were awesome HD.....the rest of the channels could not be watched at all they were so bad, including no news channels !!! The last morning of our trip i was in the lobby having coffee and trying to watch some news(since we could not in our room) when the guy from the front desk came over turned off the sound and told me they have a contract with Muzak that does not allow them to have sound on the TV's in the lobby( I had not turned the sound on, it was on when i got there) ......Very miserable stay at this hotel....WE WILL NOT BE BACK Mehr

Our stay was good overall. The only 2 issues were: The traffic on the road the hotel is located on has horrible traffic on Fridays. It took us 45 minutes to drive 2 miles. The bed spring made loud noises every time you move. The hotel staff was very courteous.

Great rooms, great service! Staff pays attention to the needs of the guest and every detail of their service. Very impressed! Five Star stay at 2 star prices!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean at all times. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and have never had an issue.

This is a great hotel to stay at, staff is great and the rooms are very clean and spacious.

My first time in Birmingham. Took my child, father, sister and brother-in-law for the Civil Rights tour. I was pleasantly surprised at not only the lovely hotel but the fantastic location. Can you say upscale? Saks and other retail very nearby - less than 1 mile. Tons of restaurants, too. Plus only 12+ miles from the civil rights sites in B'ham city. […] The hotel is conveniently located just off 280 and easy to access. Modern, clean and quiet. The staff was excellent and very accommodating with my elderly father and young son. Love the larger room with the sofa pit (L-shaped sofa and over sized ottoman) and swivel flat screen TV. The beds are comfy and the pillows are great. Small frig and sink that allow for storage of snacks or toddy. My only very tiny complaint is the size of the water closet (it's really just the toilet and tub) the sink is exposed in the sleep area. The bathroom door is wider than average and it's a tight fit when you're trying to maneuver your way out. But how often do you do that in a day 2- 3 times? Overall, this property is great. Mehr
