Waren schon das 2. Mal hier und sicher nicht das letzte Mal. Das Hotel befindet sich in herrlicher Umgebung auf Shelter Island . Wir hatten ein sehr hübsches , sauberes Eckzimmer mit Blick auf den Yachthafen. Besonders gut ist auch das warme Frühstück. Parken kostet hier nur $ 5 .

Sehr freundliches Personal; wunderwaren Ausblic k vom Frühstücksraum auf den Segelhafen; gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

bei unserer ankunft nach 17 uhr waren unsere zimmer noch nicht bereit. abgesehen davon ist dieses hotel aber sehr empfehlenswert und bietet ei ausgezeichnetes preis/leistungs-verhältnis. die lage ist genügend zentral, sodass mehrere sehenswürdigkeiten von san diego aus gut erreichbar sind, teilweise sogar mit dem öffentlichen verkehrssystem. die zimmer […] sind grosszügig und sauber, das frühstück ansprechend und der service sehr freundlich Mehr

For a 3 star hotel, it was perfect. Lovely view, clean rooms. There was a simple, but good breakfast choice, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes/waffles, cereal, muffins, oatmeal, and fruit. The hotel is on an island which made you feel like you were far enough away from hustle bustle for R&R, but close enough to walk, or drive to find some action. The walking […] path is directly across the two lane street in front. There was a boat launch directly across the road, so going out for the day by boat was easy. I would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to friends and family. I would have to say that the lunch/dinner menu was acceptable, but there were much more palatable eateries nearby. We've stayed here several times before. My husband likes being on the water and watching all the Navy ships go to and from. The brunches are great - the reason we stay at Bay Club and not at the nearby competition.

Our stay at the Bay Club Hotel & Marina couldn't have been any nicer. It's a great location, they have a very friendly staff, and the complimentary breakfast was also great. The location is nice and quiet, yet it is close to everything. We would happily stay there on our next visit.

Overall the hotel was awesome, we stayed in room 259 and the room was HUGE, and had a wonderful view of the city of San Diego. The daily complimentary breakfast was nice, the gym had newer equipment and clean laundry facilities. The staff was friendly. Loved the location and the hotel is very nice. Our room was on the Marina side which I definitely recommend over the bay view rooms. We thought we had booked a second floor, but they claimed those rooms were full when we arrived. First floor was just fine and we could almost touch the water from our balcony. Only negative was that the room was small […] with no sitting area, so I don't recommend it if you're planning to spend time in your room except for sleeping. Mehr

Very pleasant, staff were wonderful, would stay there again

Hotel was very pleasant, convenient and reasonably priced. Some minor issues; iron did work and no hair dryer initially in room. Requests for both were quickly addressed. Upon checking out we found that our breakfast charge for a guest was not yet posted (after about and hour) which slowed down the process. Breakfast was well done.

This is a wonderful hotel! It was our first time in San Diego and we loved this hotel! It met all of our needs. Great location, clean rooms and grounds, free breakfast buffet was out of this world! The service was better than expected. I will definately stay here again.

We stayed four nights during spring break trip to San Diego and we got a very spacious room with a small terrace overlooking the marina. I missed a microwave oven, but the rest of the ammenities were perfect and the room was clean and in perfect condition. And the location is just perfect, not to far from Seaworld or the Downtown area. The complimentary […] breakfast wasn't the best I've had, but it was good enough: eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, coffee,orange juice, muffins and a variety of bread to toast. What I liked least were some of the unexpected fees: $10/night for a crib and $5/day parking fee (this I found specially abusive). Make sure to check your bill when checking out, cause we almost got charged $50 more! Mehr

we couldn't use bath tub because there was no plug. That was bad. But other than that, the service was nice.

There was a lack of room service-needed to take bags to and from room and we needed to collect milk for tea

very relaxing and low-key. The crowd is older but you get peace and quiet, not partying. Downtown is jsut a quick 20 minute drive away.

Hotel is quaint and comfortable, a bit dated, but views of the marina are wonderful. Fairly big room. Close to airport, gas lamp, Hillcrest, etc... good location. Included breakfast is a a nice spread, nothing fancy but good waitstaff. Gym is small but does the trick. Had an enjoyable time

The property was well kept and clean. The rooms are nice, if somewhat dated. If you are a gadget freak and need outlets, bring a couple of power strips. Nice pool, nice bar, nice people...not a bad choice at this price point.

My wife and I have a pleasant stay in Bay Club Hotel. Although the room is a little bit dated it was clean. The staffs are very nice and helpful .

Great room and stay! The filet at the restaurant was great! Little beach right across the street to enjoy.....what's not to like?

The 7 nights we stayed was great. We have recommened Bay Club Hotels to our friends and will stay there the next time we are in San Diego.

This location was great! great views of the marina and ocean, close to downtown, lantern district etc. We were going to the SD convention center and that was only a coiuple miles away. The room w/2 queens was nice, large and clean. All the amenities were good too, bathroom, towels, closet size, etc. We were there for only the night but it would be easy […] to stay a few days or a week. The breakfast was complete. The restaurant was good for dinner and there are plenty of other great restaurants close by, within walking distance. If we were planning or needing to stay near downtown again this place would definitely be on the top of the list. Mehr

I was really surprised that this hotel got such high reviews. I was expecting something a little nicer. It was okay and comfortable enough, but it is a little older. The furniture and bedspread were a little outdated and the bathroom definitely needs to be updated as well. I was also surprised the breakfast received such rave reviews. It was the same […] thing every day, the only thing that was changed up (a little) was the fruit. I actually had to get the manager's attention to the fact that the bacon that was brought out was not even cooked. The pancakes were flat and cold, and the coffee tasted like cigarettes. We stayed for 3 nights, and like I said it was comfortable enough but I think if we go back to San Diego, we'll stay somewhere else. I don't think this hotel should be priced as much as it was. Mehr

staff was very helpful and extended every courtesy they could...great view and rooms were very well kept and comfortable...definitely would recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again myself :)

Easy drives to mission valley, downtown, oldtown and easy to airport. Entertainment lounge next door with live music

Quiet, relaxing, close to restaurants. Shuttle service to downtown is nice, although they do charge a fee. Older hotel that could use some upgrading in the rooms, but great staff. Free breakfast is so-so

Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in San Diego Staff and service exceptional, superb location. This will always be our hotel of choice when in San Diego!

We were so pleased with this hotel we are returning for 2 more nights before leaving San Diego next week.

we had a great time at this hotel employees were very friendly. John the bartender is very good and very helpful. they all were very nice the hotel is a little older but that gave it character would stay there again . :)

My husband and I stayed at Bay Club as a last minute getaway. We really enjoyed our stay. It is convenient to the city, gaslamp, and beaches, yet, far enough away to enjoy a more casual weekend by the bay. The service was awesome. Great choice for a birthday weekend - large room with King bed - view of the bay - had dinner Friday night in resturant - Jan month special $22 for appetizer, seafood entree, and cheesecake. Great breakfast buffet the next morning. Walked it all off by circling Shelter Island after breakfast . Great staff.

This hotel was very well kept and right on the bay. Loved the location and the views were terrific. Service was excellent, would highly recommend.
