We have stayed at this location many times. This time I think was the last. Noticed a lot more disrepair, some mold in our bathroom and the pool is gone. The price is good but it just felt kind of dirty this time.

It sucked. I had my reservation for over 2 weeks. We get there and are told not all rooms have microwaves & fridges even though website says they do. CONCRETE has been poored over the swimming pool and spa as they are making a banquet room out of it. That means this has been going on for some time and YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS! I am very disappointed […] in you. We would have left, but would have been charged for 1 night anyway. Mehr

This hotel surpassed my expectations. I have had a bad experience with a Days Inn which was in a different city and this hotel shocked me. I was very surprised with the room and cleanliness. It was a last minute trip and this was the only hotel available and I was very pleased. My children were also surprised as we have had a couple of bad experiences […] with last minute hotel stays. We spent the night at this hotel. The hotel was under some improvements, so there was construction just off the lobby. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. The breakfast was somewhat limited but comparable to other hotels we have stayed at.

nice establishment and affordable

As I have written many times about this motel, very inexpensive and very cordial people working at the desk.

The room was dusty and smelled musty. The pool was closed down which was not specified at time of booking. The exercise room had no working machines. The hotel staff was nice and courteous.

It was dirty and the beds were uncomfortable loud also

Positives - prepaid price was reasonable, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean. Need Improvements - Common areas had dirty, sticky floors, room carpet was not vaccumed, and lobby area looked uninviting.

This hotel is filthy. Stay at your own risk.

Overall the hotel was satisfactory, but there were two serious issues. When I arrived I used the main floor restroom and it was gross. Someone had left a mess in the toilet. I would think regular visits to hotel facilities by staff would eleminate such issues. Also there was some black mold in the shower and the safety lock on the door was missing and […] had been crudely repared. As a plus, the mattresses were very comfortable. Mehr

When we entered the lobby it was very dark, not well lit & stood waiting to check in for several minutes before the front desk staff acknowledged us ( no one was in line before us). Lobby smelled bad & the hallways had many lights out making them fairly dark as well. Our room was clean a couple lamps didnt work but the air conditioner coudnt keep up […] & we were quite warm throughout the room Mehr

First of all the room smelled as if it was just removed as a non smoking room. Next there was the 3:00 AM loud argument involving people staying at the hotel going on somewhere on the floor. It left me awake thinking where my wife and I could hide if gun fire started. Not real great experience and we won't stay there again.

We have been staying at this hotel for the past 3 years around August. we have family there and we like doing things in St Louis.

1. I bought bed bug spray to use on the bed. I felt like I had mites/bugs crawling on me all day. 2. Some other customers were of questionable nature that hung out in the lobby. 3. The desk clerks were very unattentive to what was going on around them in the lobby.

Very strange people sitting in the lobby almost all of the time. Very uncomfortable for the guests coming and going. Not sure if they work there or why they were there. One guy looked like a drug addict and was either sitting on the couch or at the computer every single time we entered or left. He would give us a cold stare and watch every step we made. […] One older, Indian guy just sat there, nodded his head and stared. No automatic door opener. The lobby and hallways very hot/humid. This was a trip to visit my boyfriend's home town. I thought the hotel was nice. We had ordered a queen size bed but they mistakenly tried to give us 2 full size beds. They quickly remedied the situation and we got the handicap room. We actually enjoyed it very much. The room was dark and the bathroom could have used a little up-keep (the wall paper […] was peeling a bit). Otherwise it was great. Mehr

If you just want a place to sleep in for the night, then this is it. The lighting especially in the lobby could use some work.

I stayed in this hotel for one while I was passing by St Louis. The location was good for me since it's just off the highway. I expected it to be a little nicer. There is nothing bad in particular, but the quality of everything is a notch down. On the plus side, the room was large, there were 2 fridges in the room and one microwave. So it's good for […] people who want to eat or have food. Mehr

After a long drive, we got sooner than expected - but they were still ready with a room. When we needed a better room for two babies, they took care of us right away. My only regret is not having swim trunks to take the kids in the pool! They took care of my family, and I wouldn't mind staying again, the next time we have to make the trip...

My husband was raised in the East St. Louis area and hadn't been home in five years. We wanted a nice hotel room that was in a central location with a reasonable price, considering that we would be staying for four nights. The room at Days Inn was nice and comfortable, conveniently located near most all of our relatives and was surrounded by stores […] and other restaurants. My son enjoyed the indoor pool. My daughter enjoyed the free internet access. Considering that we've grown accustomed to staying at hotel resorts, this was still a good choice. The staff was very friendly and helped with all of our needs. The daily rate was very reasonable and I got a discount, in addition to my (teacher) government discount. ENJOYED...no complaints Mehr

We usually stay in this hotel on our road trips since it's easy to access off the interstate. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable and the rates are reasonable. My main complaint this stay was the terrible smell in the hallways. It had been raining a lot and the ceiling was leaking a significant amount of water in the stairwell, I think that was […] the cause. If the room had smelled like the hall did, we would have left, but fortunately it did not. Also, the young woman at the front desk was not dressed at all professionally and could barely stop texting long enough to check me in. Not really a problem, but worth noting. Otherwise no complaints, the room itself is nice. Mehr

Everytime my wife and I go to Tennessee, we stay at this motel. The price is very good, it is close to places to eat and the rooms are clean and quiet. That is all we look for in a motel for one night at a time. I would recommend this motel to anyone that doesn't have a fortune to spend but still expects a clean room and a sound sleep.

This hotel was fine. Staff was nice, rooms were clean, the hallway smelled a little musty but there had been a lot of storms in the area. Very close to a nice running trail. I would stay there again. Close to Jack-In-the-Box!

First thing you smell is the curry!!! Hair on the sink/toliet and tub when got in room,

1. The guy checking people in was rude and non-responsive. He acted like it killed him to get up and check me into my room. 2. He then tried to tell me I needed to pay when I already had. 3. He then tried to tell me I didn't have a reservation there. 4. He then set the key down and started talking to some other guy without saying anything else (room […] location, etc.). After I stood there for a bit, he goes, "Did you need something else, sir?"). 5. The room was COLD when I entered. I don't mean, "Oh, it's chilly, let's turn on the air conditioner." I mean, "BALLS! It's COLD in here!" 6. Good luck finding an outlet to plug anything in in the room. There wasn't even a plug in for the coffee maker they had in there. 7. Something red was spilled all over the vanity/counter. 8. The crumbs of someone's food was on the night stand. 9. The room had a stinky smell, like a mix of curry, cigarette smoke (in a non-smoking room!), and a really strong fart. 10. There were parties all down the hall. My advice: Find another hotel nearby, because the surroundings are AWESOME (movie theatre, great shopping, Starbucks to grab a coffee when you get back on the road). I was just stopping in for a few hours sleep before I went back on the road, though, and I was a little grossed out by the experience. And I hardly ever get grossed out. Mehr

Got a great price, so really don't have much room to complain but I will anyway. Found a condom wrapper next to the night stand when we arrived (a Magnum nonetheless) and a cockroach in the bathroom. Didn't see any more the remainder of the trip, but it still made me leary. Hotel itself is showing some wear but is in a central area with quick access […] to highway and local attractions. Other then that it was fairly decent stay and a good place to sleep for the price. Come here to sleep only and with the right expectations and you'll be fine. Mehr

We have stayed at this location many times. It's a nice hotel for a good price. It's a little hard to find if you don't know where it is. It's not fancy but its clean and the staff is friendly. This particular stay we were upgraded to a jacuzzi room for no extra charge because they were extremely full. We were celebrating our anniversary so that was […] a nice bonus. Mehr

the nightly rate was excellant for the quality of room and service, AC went out in our room and the staff was very accomodating, moved us to a new room within minutes. Great stay.

The room was not very cool when we arrived, the outside temp was in the 90's, the AC in the room didnt seem to be putting out much cold air. I called down to the desk and them the clerk about it. He came up and said that no other guest had complained. When we arrived back to the room several hours later the room had cooled off, but, I know the AC unit […] had been changed out while we were gone. The knobs on the unit was different from when we first got to the room. And there was a space heater sitting next to the bed that had been removed. So that problem was solved. We also missed breakfast in the Morning(Sunday) the clock in our room was slow by 30 minutes and the breakfast closed at 9:30, I thought that was odd for a Sunday. The carpets were dirty and in need of cleaning or to be replaced But the bed was great, very comfortable. Mehr

I was not impressed. The man at the front desk was scary, the room smelled, there was ducttape holding part of our carpet down, the mirror came off of the wall, the shower drain was very slow, the walls were paper thin, the sheets smelled like smoke, the baggage cart wheels did not turn well. . . do you get what I'm saying - stay away from this hotel […] and do business with a hotel that actually maintains its property. If I were a Day's Inn executive - I would pull my name off of this franchise in a heartbeat!! Mehr

Smelled of cigarettes extremely bad.

Good stay - would stay again - my ratings would be on such things as wall paper peeling in hallways - empty bear bottle left in elevator at night still there in the morning - bathrooms surface cleaned but dirt build up in corners and edges. Not having a ice machine on each floor was a slight hassle.

The hotel was nice and quiet with very friendly staff. Outside of the room not being ready, the hotel stay was very good.

The hotel was very nice, expecially for the price. Used it for a romantic weekend with my boyfriend. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean. my only complaint would be the condition of the shower curtin. It was covered in soap scum and had some mildew on the bottom. other than that it was perfect. The included breakfast was nice, if […] not extensive. I was confused by the fact that it was suppossed to b open from 6-10am and when we got there at 9, they said they were getting ready to close it up. They were very accomodating though and got us food back out of the kitchen. Mehr

The hotel was comfortable and clean. It's a bit older and could use some updating but was very good for the money. The first evening we had two lights that had no light bulbs in them. On our way out for the evening, we told the desk, and they took care of it right away. There were quite a few young teenagers staying in our hallway the first night, and […] they were traveling back and forth between rooms, but as soon as midnight hit, all was silent. Nice place, plenty of resturants in walking distance, hotel had discount arrnagments with several in the area. Only downside was the pool was out of order during our visit.

Just a motel no more would not stay again

Just wanted a night with my husband!For the PRICE and CONVENIENCE this hotel was perfect!!! We will be back and I would recommend this hotel to all parents looking for a night together.
