Was a very nice motel and plenty of stuff for the kids to do.

Low grade on everything from food to the room itself. The TV is even from the 90's!

Fantastic hotel!! you get much more in a room then you would exspect!! You could stay at this hotel for ALL your Las Vegas needs. Fantastic food at ALL venues. Great gaming!! have children??? There is movies and bowling!! All the staff were wonferful and very helpful!! We WILL be back!!

Very clean, new and convenient. Off the Strip but not far from the Strip which is great because you can avoid the congestion and difficulty in parking you deal with on the Strip. They upgraded me to a beautiful suite because they were full. I paid an amazing bargain price for the room to begin with--but with the upgrade the price was mind blowing! […] This is the other great thing about the Orleans. You can get bargain prices on Hotels.com for a hotel that's very clean, where the rooms are big and comfortable and nicely appointed and where you have a large selection of restaurants downstairs. Great hotel at a great rate! Room was clean and comfortable and best of all affordable! Great off strip location and the hotel security even helped my sister who I was visiting by opening her car when she locked her keys in the car. Very friendly staff. Fantastic experience! The Orleans will be my choice of hotel when visiting Las Vegas! Thank you!

The hotel needs a room uplift. Our carpet was dirty and stained, the curtains were ripped, and there were bulbs needing replacement in the bathroom. On a positivie note, the shower was good! Overall, a good place for a cheap rate.

we came out for two hockey games and had a great time. good food and drink, won some money. thanks for having us, we will be back.

To come to the front desk, you have to cross the casino with your luggage, an interesting experience. ;-) The room was very big with a beautiful vista. You had to pay additional 6 Dollars per room per night to get a free parking space and wifi (but only in the lobby, not in the room, there you had to pay extra!!). A lot of the hotels at the low end of pricing in Las Vegas are quite worn out or have bad service (like the Extended Stay on Boulder Highway), so I've been on the search for a comfortable place without paying more, and I found it at the Orleans Hotel. The person who attended me at the front desk needed more customer service training, but once I got […] up in the room, I was happy with the spacious room, the comfortable bed, the A/C thermostat, the walk-in closet/bathroom, and the little extras offered (like an iron and even a phone in the bathroom). I even got a deal with $30 worth of food credits for the 2 days, which was almost the price paid for the room (of course at room service prices). The room service was very friendly and nicely prepared, with delicious food. I also enjoyed my visit to the pool area, where there is a huge hot tub with an island in the middle. You cannot find a better business value in Las Vagas. I go there almost once a month. It works so i can work.

Hotel was OK but buffet was horrible.

My husband and I frequently stay at the Orleans when we're in Vegas. We follow the LV Wranglers and when we'd see them play, we'd stay at the Orleans because it's convenient. More than that, though, we're impressed by how hospitable the staff is. Twice now, we've been upgraded to the suite when the hotel is booked. The hotel is also a mini-city and […] you don't have to leave to be entertained. They have a cineplex, a 24-hour bowling alley, arcade, restaurants, a pool, spa, and fitness center. Being away from the strip is an advantage because we don't have to deal with the traffic. It's close to Chinatown and other non-strip attractions in LV. Mehr

The Orleans is a good place to stay. The front desk was very professional and there are good dining options in the casino. The only thing that can use some improving is housekeeping. The room looked clean, but at a second glance I found dried hard candy on the carper near the nightstand and all around the edge of the bed was dirty with hairpins and […] bobbyclips. You can totally tell that this area was in a hard to reach area for the vacum cleaners. So, if THE ORLEANS managment is reading this, I would offer that the housekeepers check these areas, because it could be a turn off for most. (I stayed in room 1897) Mehr

I have stayed at the Orleans on numerous occasions and find it comfortable, clean, friendly, and for the price, one of the best values in Las Vegas. Off the strip may deter some, but overall the parking is close, the food prices and the quality are good, and the entertainment is good as well. I visit Las Vegas monthly and for me, the Orleans is a good […] alternative to the overpriced, congested strip hotels, especially during times of large traffic in the Las Vegas convention season. Close proximity to the strip without all the hustle and bustle of the strip. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

I have stayed here before so I know that they have clean and comfortable rooms but this time for my stay I got upgraded and it is the best stay ever.

hair dryer did not work, lights no work, hotel maintenance and comfort poor

This hotel is huge and there are very many choices for everything. The food was good and the Fab entertainment was excellent! Upon check in were charged a resort fee which we did not know about. Then we were put in a handicap room without any notification. The room was nice but set up a little differently. We felt we should have been told that was the […] room we were getting and confirmed that we were OK with it. We usually stay at a different hotel in Vegas and always feel welcomed and appreciated. Here we felt like just another number without any personalization. While we had a good time, we would think twice before staying here again. Mehr

Great hotel for the the price.

The entire hotel was smoky. Every common area, including the elevators reeked of smoke. Although the hotel had some amenities targeted at children, it's not a place I would bring my child to again, we had to walk through smoky areas in order to get to the kids activities.

I have always liked the Orleans. For the rooms are great. Clean, comfortable, large, sofa and table, etc. The hotel has many dining options. Koji, Prime Rib Loft , and TGIF are favorites, but so are the fast food options in the courtyard. Love esp that they give you coupons to use too. Great for a quick stay. Overall, staff is very friendly. Shuttle […] is convenient, but wait times are a bit longer now. But it does work if you don't have a car. For some reason though this past weekend, the casino was a bit warm inside. Didn't feel like the air conditioning was on at all. I would stay here again- but mainly if I was seeing something on site. If you plan on going onto the strip often, you might want to get a room elsewhere. But this hotel is great. Esp if the rates are good. Mehr

I've stayed at the Orleans three times before and return there because it's so user friendly. Unlike the huge casinos on the Strip you don't have to walk a mile to get back and forth to your room.The food is good -with a nice variety.Having a first run movie theater on site is great when you want a change of pace.A free shuttle brings you to the Strip […] every half hour.Only one complaint-the Very Old heating/ac unit is Noisy in the room we stayed in and should be replaced.The staff is friendly and efficient.We would definitely stay again. I am a long time customer for this hotel and have always eaten at the Cafe. This trip however literally left a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered a simple BLT sandwich and a cup of Cream of Chicken soup. The soup must have been cooking for a number of days, and tasted like last week’s offering. The bacon in the BLT was so over cooked that it had no flavor […] at all other than grease. The tomatoes were mush. I complained and they brought me a Patty Melt. I ordered medium and received well done, with a heal for one piece of bread and grease dripping everywhere. Took two bites and left the rest on the plate. With two of the simplest sandwiches arriving at my table being inedible I will never eat there again. With that said unfortunately I will not be staying at the hotel again even though the room was great. Mehr

Initially I was very disappointed with my room--my non-smoking room smelled of smoke, and the beds and furniture looked very old and worn. I complained to the front desk, and they promptly changed my room, no questions asked. My new room on the same floor had nice, updated furniture, a flat-screen TV--and no smell. I called housekeeping for extra towels […] and pillows, and they arrived less than 15 minutes later. Everyone I dealt with at the Orleans was very friendly and accomodating. It is a good family destination with a pool, plenty of places to eat, a bowling alley, arcade and movie theater. One of the primary reasons we booked the Orleans is that they don't charge an extra fee for the kids staying in your room--unlike most of the hotels on the Strip. The only downsides I saw were the hotel's distance from the Strip and the abundance of adult book and video stores in the immediate vicinity. In their defense, they do have shuttles running to the Strip, but I would suggest having a car. There is a $6 pn resort fee, which they are very up front about. My wife and I agree that we would definitely stay at the Orleans again. Mehr

For the price . it's close to the best. Very friendly and good food. I've seen 4 star hotels, that's no better.

Just got back from Vegas and stayed at the Orleans hotel on a Wednesday and Thursday night. The $7.99 buffet was a great deal. I didn't do a lot of gambling but it looked like there was plenty to do. Everything was clean and staff was friendly. I had 2 kids with and felt it was a safe and controlled environment.

My boyfriend and I booked a room at the Orleans for two days on valentines day. We are locals in Las Vegas, so we just wanted a good time on a low budget. We loved that there was a food court downstairs with a few 24hr restaurants so we could eat whenever we were hungry. The staff was very helpful and quick when we needed more towels. The room was comfortable […] and nicely sized for a standard room. There was a lovely view, television with cable channels, and the king size bed (non smoking) was soft and clean. There is a bowling alley inside with $1 games after midnight so that was fun. There is also a movie theatre inside as well so we caught a matinee before 6pm. Free shuttle service all day to the strip if you'd like to travel with no rental car. Overall, we had a great time. I even won some money gambling!! There is a wide variety of everything for everyone at this hotel and casino. Mehr

Just wish they had more going on turning the week in the hotel.

We go there for a bowling tornument every year. The bowling alleys are fablous.

excellent value in every way for the price...love the live music nightly in the Bourbon Street Cafe...wide/well lit hallways are much appreciated...liked the amiable security dude by the elevators...have stayed here multiple times & will continue to do so...almost felt like I was in New Orleans-great ambiance!

The hotel was clean and neat. The only bad thing was the smoke. Shuttle service was a plus. Was there for Cheer did good job with large crowd. Good place for children.

I stayed in one of their suites which was very nice, my only problem is that i asked for a non smoking room and it smelled as if it had been smoked in... eww. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Theres a bowling alley, movie theater, and child care services. Lots of things to do for families being we were there for a cheerleading competition.

The best part was that the room was clean and didnt have those horrible comforters. The negative i have are: no air circulatjon. We couldnt open the window (not allowed) and had to run the air the whole time which left us congestesd. Plus, being that it was an older hotel, the ventilation in the casino was horrible and it was so smokey. We stayed here […] only because of our daughter's Cheer competition was being held thefe or would never had stayed. Buffeg was breat though. I thought the variety and quality was bettdr then some of the more expensive hotels. If given a choice, i wouldnt stay here again...only if Cheer competition was held here again. Hopefully not. Mehr

Was in town for a cheer competition. The hotel was so smoke filled that my family was sick. The hotel needs to invest in better ventilation. Next year, even though it makes things a little harder, we will stay at a better ventilated hotel.

I've always liked the Orleans because it is one of the nicer off-strip hotels. It's convenient in that you can actually park your car in the lot and walk in... rather than having to park in a huge parking garage. The rooms are large and generally comfortable. The casino has several very nice restaurants and the staff is always friendly. This time, however, […] my stay was not quite as good as in the past. The parking lot was actually so full all the time that it was difficult to find a spot and I had to walk a considerable distance to get to the hotel. I usually don't complain about the condition of rooms...I don't go to Vegas to stay in my room. But the condition of this room was really poor. The carpet was so stained it was disgusting and, when I arrived, it was not clean at all. The bed was really hard and had 2 fairly flat pillows. Still, I recommend the Orleans for travelers on a budget. Mehr
