Das Pavilion Inn bietet ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, das Frühstücksbuffet war umfangreich und gut. Alle an der Rezeption waren immer freundlich und hilfsbereit, egal, was uns auf dem Herzen lag. Die Lage, unweit der Interstate 15 ist sehr verkehrsgünstig, leider, wegen der nicht optimalen amerikanischen Fenster recht laut. Dafür hatten wir einen direkten Blick auf die Wasatch Mountains. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren

Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Stadt, 15 min. Zu Fuß nach Downtown Mitte. Das Hotel ist einfach, hat alles was man so braucht. Die. Zimmer sind alle neu renoviert und verfügen über zwei Räume mit jeweils einen Flachbildschirm Fernseher. Das Frühstück ist ein Continental Breakfast mit angegliedertes Küche, wo frische Eier aller Art angeboten wird. Zusätzlich Würstchen und Bacon, french Toast und Pfannkuchen. Im Allem kann man das Hotel mit guten Gewissen empfehlen, wenn man einen 3 bis 4 Sterne Hotel sucht. Kleines Schwimmbad mit Whirlpool und Sauna ist vorhanden, ist aber ein wenig schwierig hinzukommen, da es sich direkt im Erdgeschoss, neben dem Restaurant und Hotel Eingang. Ein Umziehen ist im Schwimmbad fast nicht möglich. Nach Benutzung kann man nass ins Zimmer gehen. Das Hotel verfügt noch über einen Fitnessraum mit modernen Geräten und einen freiverfügbaren PC-Raum mit 2 Arbeitsplätze, freien Internet, Drucker und Scanner. Ich kann das Hotel mit guten Gewissen empfehlen. Die Sanierungsarbeiten sind bereits zu 98% beendet. Shuttle zum Airport ist kostenfrei, muss aber bestellt werden.

Sehr gut für die erste Übernachtung nach der Landung, Shuttleservice wird zuverlässig über die Airport-Information an der Gepäckausgabe organisiert. Einfaches Hotel, freundliche und hilfsbereite Angestellte, gewöhnungsbedürftiges Plastikgeschirr zum Frühstück, aber ausreichend, frische Waffeln, Cornflakes und Obst. Homepage verlässlich. Neue Strassenbahnlinie in Hotelnähe in Arbeit, dann super Anbindung an die Stadt, zur Zeit (Aug-Sept 2011) schlechte Busanbindung Richtung Downtown. Unbedingt auf aktuelle Pläne achten ... Achtung, es gibt zwei Hotels dieser Kette, das andere ist näher an West Valley, jederzeit wieder. Viel Spass

"gutes Hotel für den Start"
Das Crystal Inn ist ein typisches Übergangshotel, nicht übertrieben elegant aber auch kein mieser durchnschnitt. Für den Start zu einer Länderrundtour, kann man es mit guten Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Das angebotene Frühstück (inkl.) ist typisch amerikanisch. "Hotelzimmer riechte nach rauch/ gutes Frühstück"
Als wir unser Hotelzimmer öffneten, rochen wir Zigarettenrauch. Auf unsere Reklamation hin, konnten wir jedoch ganz unkompliziert das Zimmer wechseln. Das neue Zimmer war sogar etwas grösser. Positiv überrascht hat uns die relativ grosse Auswahl am Frühstückbuffet.

"Budget Stay"
Crystal Inn met all my expectations for a budget overnight stay. The exceptional breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations.
"Great "Staycation" spot!"
Everything was great with our stay. The room was clean and the kids had a great time at the pool. I only wish the breakfast buffet went a little later than 9am. Who wants to drag three kids out of bed that early when they aren't early risers? ;-)

"a pleasant stay"
The staff was efficient and friendly, the room was fine, the full breakfast was ok, the free newspaper was a nice touch. The only complaint I can think of is the garbage truck emptying dumpsters VERY early in the morning close by, but that is not the hotel's fault. Overall, a very pleasant stay

Everything about hotel = awesome; watch out for weekend families, kiddies & long lines at the buffet. And peeps in their pajamas at breakfast buffet = gross!

"Large clean comfortable rooms"
We had 2 rooms and both rooms were very clean and comfortable. We were surprised at how large the rooms were. For each room we had 2 queen beds, mini-fridge, microwave, love seat/sofa, coffee table, and a small table with 2 chairs nicely spaced within the room. Our room was very clean, the beds were firm and comfortable (which was great for a bad back). […] The hotel honored our request for rooms next to each other, which we appreciated. The buffet breakfast was large with cereal, french toast, sausage, pastries, toast, hash browns, eggs, and more plus various drinks. Everyone in our family was able to find something they liked. We enjoyed swimming in the indoor heated pool and soaking in the hot tub. Both were well taken care of, except the hot tub needed a bit more water so the jets would be covered and not spray above the water level. There is also a sauna and fitness room, but we didn't go there. We did see a couple of vagrants near the hotel during the day, but we still found it to be a nice, safe area. We would definitely stay in this hotel again as well as recommend it to others. Mehr

this is a great friendly family hotel with great spacious rooms, breakfast was good with the hot and cold selections, had 3 restaurants surrounding the hotel, just a great hotel for anyone - we will diffinately be coming back here next time we are in town. They were also really really helpful when we wanted to extend our stay for another week.

we were there for 4 nights, overall, our weekend was great, clean rooms,pool, great daily hot food with daily variations,friendly staff, very helpful with maps and locations of area attractions. The one problem we encounter when we arrived at 11 pm after 11 hrs driving, the hotel was over booked. So 3 of us ended up in a room with 1 king, good thing […] we're all related. We had a wonderful family vacation in Salt Lake City, due in part to the location and services at the Crystal Inn Downtown. Our room was spacious for a family of four. The buffet breakfast was super and our kiddos enjoyed the pool. There are several family-friendly restaurants within walking distance.

All around good hotel. Good location. Would stay there again. Only complaint was the ice machine is all the way down at one end of very long hall.
"Close to downtown without the downtown price"
I booked this hotel for a gaming convention that was in town the same time as the LDS Conference. The hotel was undergoing some renovations to the main front desk area. However, check-in was still seamless. The only problem I had was when I came back to the hotel on Friday night and all of the spots were taken. After voicing this to the front desk, […] they said that they have an agreement with the Denny's and McDonald's that are next door, so parking wasn't an issue. Hotel was very convenient to the downtown ara. The breakfast at the hotel and free wireless were a good value and a nice perk. There were a few homeless people in the area and a pretty strong police presence. I saw numerous police cars patrolling the area and one officer stop to roust a homeless guy walking through the parking lot. The hotel was great. Wasn't told they were remodeling though which caused some problems parking. The kids were really loud in the pool area. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
"The Crystal Inn in SLC was undergoing renovation"
No notice was given that the desk would be found in a banquet room and that the parking area would be taken over by trucks of the many workers at all hours. Fire alarms going off, trucks backing up with horn at 3:30 am, sidewalks to the hotel doors torn out and blocked, and the most convienient elevator to the room was tagged as being out of order for […] a day. The morning breakfast was not as varied as it should have been for those who stayed more than four days. In over 35 years of business travel this would be considered a new low. Only a stay at the Bates Hotel could have been worse. Consider asking if they are planning any construction during the time you plan on staying there. Hopefully your experience will be more pleasant. The hotel was conveniently located in downtown SLC. The service from the front desk was outstanding. It seemed to be an older hotel (but, not historic), but it was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was very good. I would stay there again.

Clean, quiet. Great breakfast options in the morning. There were a lot of childen staying in the hotel but, if we hadn't seen them in the lobby or parking lot we wouldn't have known they were there. We will stay there again as it was within walking distance of restaurants and sites.

We booked 2 nights. After night one we went out around the city for the day. We came back, all of our stuff was gone, literally!! Management refused to do anything about it until the next morning. And only about 75% of our stuff was returned...the rest grew legs and ran away...never staying here again!

Crystal Inn has the best FREE breakfast buffet I've seen. Close to convention center and a variety of restaurants. We walked and felt safe even in the early morning hours. Free airport shuttle also a nice bonus. If we travel to Salt Lake City again, we will definitely stay here!

We stayed almost a week. The rooms were quite large, plenty of room for 5 of us. Our 8 yr old slept on the sofa. The location has easy access to both downtown and the highway. The best part of the stay was the hot breakfast buffet with delicious selections to choose from - everyone was satisfied each morning! We also enjoyed the indoor pool, workout […] room and sauna each night. Definately a nice place to stay in Salt Lake City! PS. It snowed heavily and the hotel gave us a free ice scraper for the car! "Downtown Crystal Inn, Salt Lake City, Utah"
Loved our stay. The staff was very helpful, the place was clean. Security was good, it took your key card to enter any door except the hotel entrance. The breakfast was excellent. I had taken my small dog and it was very pet friendly. It was close to the freeway. I will be staying there again when I am in SLC.

Great location. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was hot and good. Shuttle to and from airport was on time. 2 block to the trolly. Beds were a little soft for our liking. We would like to see a humidifier in the room. SLC is dry in the winter. We will stay there again!
