Atheneum Suite Hotel - Detroit

Innenstadtlage direkt am People Mover und in Laufdistanz zu GM. Fruehstueck im angrenzenden Restaurant in Ordnung. Extra Parkgebuehren. Unser Zimmer hat ein kleinen Wohnzimmer, praktisch der Durchgang zu den Zimmern, so dass man auch Lesen und Fernsehen konnte als die Kinder schlafen gingen.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Atheneum. We were impressed with the room as well as the service we received during our stay. Would recommend to anyone.

The design was stunning... roomy and elegant but really really dirty. The light switch in the bath room had visable smears that I cleaned off. They had also removed the ice machine from the our floor which we didn't discover until unpacked.

I've stayed at a lot of places in Detroit, this by far has been the best. Clean, amazing room, and great desk service. Not to mention great location.

We stayed in this hotel the night before opening day. We were very pleasently suprised with the room. There is parking in a garage across the street or valet. The rooms are very nice and private. The room was absolutely beautiful. The location is great, you have immediate access to fishbones and greektown casion along with being right next to all the other great places in greektown. You cannot beat the price for such a great room and location.

excellent room, compared to many offerings in the area included. Although there is a charge for parking (others do not), this was most definitely one of the best in the area. And a well established eatery in the building is your 24/7 room service. Delicious. Great location, great staff, and a very comparable price for what is received.

If you like space to roam than this is your place ... great location right at Greek Town Casino ... you can take the people mover for 0.75 cents and you get dropped right at the hotel ... plus the shuttle will drive you almost anywhere in the downtown core .,.. GREAT PLACE

My daughter and I just needed a place for a night. Flew into Detroit, but our final destination was Ohio. This hotel looked clean and nice on website. It is just as clean, nice and comfortable inside. Super quiet Thursday night. Never saw another guest. Detroit seems quiet for such a large city. Casino next door. Didnt go, but I wish I would have while […] my daughter spent an hour getting ready to go in the morning. Hotel is right next to freeway (not too close). I brought my pre- teens and the had a great time free shuttle and we needed it it was cold GO WINGS!

Talk to me like I was a kid or I was staying for free

My 3 year old son and I enjoyed the quietness and restaurants located in hotel. Unfortunately the televisions were distorted and my toilet seat kept detaching. All was overlooked because of the fantastic view and other bathroom amenities. I also needed a refridgerator. The staff was friendly.

My husband and I only stayed 1 night... next time we want to spend a whole weekend at least. The room was beautiful, clean, and very modern. The bed was comfortable, and I LOVED the deep bath tub. Getting to the local restaurant was easy and, the food was very good. Location of the Hotel is awesome, close to anyplace you'd want to go. Excellent hotel. Rooms spacious, modern and clean. Only real complaint was the lack of a decent exercise room.

The hotel was more than I expected. The people were all very curteous. The location was easy on and off the freeway. The rooms were very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean comfortabe suite and excellent location for events in downtown Detroit.

the hotel has a great shuttle service that will pick you up and drop you off at any location within five miles great for us the only bad thing was the mini bar we had our two kids with us and thay were looking in the mini bar at the snacks and no one told us that it automaticaly bills you for ea item that is moved in the mini bar and the tv took some […] getting use to we orderd a movie with out even knowing it lol but the front desk took all unwanted charges off or bill with no questions asked and we were very happy loved the room and would stay there again Mehr

- Very nice room. The hotel room has separate living room. The room has 2 TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. - The hotel is in greek town, there are many nice restaurant nearby. - There is a walkway to the casino. - Bathroom is very nice. It has large bathtub.

I will be back once a month.. wow..

Great time!!!! Great Location..... and the baggage helper on Sunday afternoon was awesome.... He was so nice and accomodating.

I absolutely love staying in this hotel. The rooms are quite large for 2 people and the layout is perfect. This stay was a romantic one, but these rooms are great for any kind of occassion. Great price on hotels.com too.

The Deluxe King Suite was clean, spacious, very relaxing ambience. The King size bed was so comfortable. The staff at the Front Desk, Valet as well as Room Service were very professional, great customer service.

I don't know that I would stay at this hotel again.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is located next to the Greektown Casino and is within an extremely short walking distance of Greektown. If you're in town for a hockey game, stay at the Atheneum, walk to the Old Shillelagh and ride their party bus to the Joe (it's free!). Or take a 3 block stroll to Ford Field. Had a fabulous experience at this hotel. The staff was really friendly....the room was excellent, would definitely stay here again. Everything was in walking distance (Ford Field for Lions game), restaurants, bars, everything we needed.

The room was spacious. However, the steps from the bed room to the bathroom was dangerous during the night eventhough there was a light at the steps. My wife slipped and scrapped her knees. The bath tub was too deep and sloped for an elderly person to navigate. Other than that our stay was quite comfortable.
