Das Personal ist sehr unfreundlich Frühstück sollte bis 10 Uhr sein, 15 Minuten vorher wurde schon alles abgeräumt, ohne English kam man überhaupt nicht weiter. Die Zimmer wurden nur sehr oberflächlich sauber gemacht.

Empfang sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Zimmer sind stilvoll eingerichtet und sauber. Sehr gutes Frühstück, wobei die Nachbestückung mit Wurst und Käse am Wochenende etwas auf sich warten ließ. Öffis wie Tram, Bus und Metro in unmitelbarer Nähe. Hauptbahnhof in Gehweite. Kritikpunkt: Keine Hotelbar im klassischen Sinn vorhanden. Mindestkonsumationspreis […] im Cafè Doria an Abenden mit Live-Musik, auch wenn man nur einen Absacker möchte. Mehr

der Metrostation und Piazzale Loreto., also sehr zentral. Trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig. Die Betten waren so gut, dass wir am Tag darauf erst nach 11h aufgewacht sind und wir auch nicht aufgewckt wurden, um das Zimmer zu räumen. Das Hotel hat noch ein gewisses Niveau. Wir haben dieses Mal ohne Frückstück gebucht, da beim letzten Mal das Frühstück leider […] etwas zu Wünschen übrig, mit wenig Auswahl. Ausserdem bildete sich beim Frühstückandrang eine Schlange und vorübergehend gar kein freier Platz zum Essen vorhanden war. Schade! Mehr

Das Hotel ist bereits etwas älter, die Zimmer jedoch sauber und praktisch eingerichtet.. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Für Bahnreisende ist die Lage ideal. Ebenfalls in der Nähe ist die Metro. Kleiner Tipp, gleich links um die Ecke gibt es eine kleine, leckere Pizzeria.

Das ADI Doria Grand Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs. Um zur Einkaufsstrasse "Corso Buenos Aires" zu gelangen, braucht man auch nur ein paar hundert Meter zu gehen. Das Frühstück im Hotel war erstklassig, das Personal war freundlich und das Hotel empfand ich als sehr schön. Es ist allerdings schon ein bisschen älter.

Ein tolles Hotel, tolle centrale und ruhigeLage, sehr gemütlich und sauber. 5 min zu Fuss bis Corso BUENOS AIRES. 5min zu Fuss bis zu Stazione Centrale. Das einzige was uns gestört hat-ziemlich laute Heizung im Zimmer. Internetbenutzung im Hotel zu teuer und zu langsam. Für on-line Flug chek-in haben 20min. gebraucht (statt wie immer nur 5 min.) und […] 5EUR bezahlt. Das nächste Mal werden unbedingt dieses Hotel buchen. Mehr

Wonderful, the staff were very good, the hotel was very cleen, unfortunately the restaurant was closed until the first of May, but we found a nice pizzeria a hundred yards away and it fabulous. I highly recommendThe place.

I have been to Milan 4-5 times for weekend trips, and always stayed in 4 or 5 star hotels. The ADI Doria Grand is probably the best value for money I had in all my trips. It looks like a typical Italian hotel that was "grand" once 40 or 50 years ago, and still has the same style. They kept the appliances and furniture well preserved, and have comfortable […] beds. Rooms and bathrooms are big, and the breakfast room is quite chic. Location of the hotel is perfect if you arrive at Milano Centrale train station (i.e. if you come by train or with the bus from the airport). It's a 5 minute walk from there, and there are two Metro stations with two different Metro lines close by to get you to all the main places in Milano. The only downside to the hotel was the rather slow check-out service at the reception (they ignored us and served customers coming later and pushing in first), and the fact that the neighbourhood itself is not the most beautiful in the world (but then again, not many neighbourhoods in Milan are). Have just returned from 4th stay at the Doria Grand Hotel and am able to confirm that my ratings would not have changed over the 18 month period since my wife and I first visited. Rooms are very comfortable with good amenities and excellent soundproofing. Breakfast has adequate choices for most tastes and waiting staff are friendly and helpful. In fact […] the staff at the hotel have hardly changed since our first visit so they must be happy in their work. Whilst there we had a problem with the toilet not flushing properly and this was resolved within minutes of it being reported. This is a beautiful well maintained old classic. Excellent hot water supply so the showers were satisfying. Breakfast offered a wide selection of meats, cheeses, rolls, fruit etc. Staff was friendly all spoke English and could make recommendations for restaurants in the area. Booking through this site saved about $50 per night.

A superb hotel , perfectly situated a short walk from the main train station and close to underground. Large comfortable rooms, great service and excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is considered above average within the mid-range pricing at Italy. The distance to Milano Centrale Train Station is 15 minutes walk. The distance to Piazzale Loreto Station also about 15 mintues walk. The hotel staff is ok. As most of the hotel at Italy will applied City Tax (3 Euro per person per day), but Adi Doria Grand hotel do not […] need to pay for any city tax when check out. Mehr

This hotel is not to far away from Stazione Centrale. I selected it based on the many positive Trip Advisor reviews and recommendations. The room interior may appear a little cramped - possibly due to the dark colours of the decor. But otherwise a comfortable stay.

I got to the hotel and ask for a bell boy to help me with my luggage since I am 4 months pregnant, he told me that all their bell boy is busy. Got to my room and it was dark and depressing. I rang for internet code for wireless which you have to pay, told me I have to go down and get it. Anything you need in this hotel if they are bothered to give you […] it, you have to go downstairs to get it yourself. A day later I ask for a converter, receptionist told me they are all out. While I stood there thinking where to get it, a couple walk in wet from the rain asking if they can borrow an iron to iron their clothes and they've been told they don't allow ironing inside the room, this couple lend me a converter by the way. Breakfast was the same everyday: egg, small sausages, cereal and bread. On my 3rd day, I went for breakfast and it was 5 minutes to 10:00, the waitress told me I have 5 minutes only to get my breakfast as they have to prepare lunch. I was so annoyed to be told that I only have 5 minutes and basically I should be out at 10:00! One night I asked to get a booking for a restaurant nearby they told me I don't need reservation and got turned down when I got there. The 2nd night I told to get me a reservation this time, came down and I ask for confirmation and time, they told me I should be fine as it was Tuesday, I told them to make sure as I was turned down the other night and he said no problem. Got to the restaurant, and I was given the outside table with no choice as the inside are all reserve!!!! Everyday I pick up my keys, there are always customer complaining or at least showing discontent on their faces. There was only 1 lift working and it took so long to get up or down. On the last day, I specifically ask for a fixed rate taxi of which is Euro 95 to Malpensa airport, got to the airport and I got charged Euro 115. Overall, the staff wasn't very helpful, I felt like they just don't want to do anything for their customer or they just don't want to do their Mehr

The only good thing of this hotel was the location. Very convenient, only had to cross one bridge to get from St. Mark Sq. to the Hotel. This is the best location you can have in venice, unless you want to go to an expensive fancy hotel. The hotel is rather an old building with stairs and you have to take your luggage NO ELEVATOR!!!! so consider taking […] light luggage if you are going to venice and leaving the big bags in a locker at the airport or the train station! The room was quite small and the bathroom was small as well. The AC did not work in our room which was really inconvenient for the Venetian Summer that can be very warm. We complained about the AC but they did not manage to fix it so we got a fan for the night! The other disadvantage is that the hotel has not a real reception but the reception and lobby is in another hotel very close to this one. When we arrived at 4 AM from Milano, the entrance of the Hotel building was closed and we had to insist until someone opened the door..... If you are looking for a good location and don't care about comfort this is a good hotel in venice for you. I preferred to be in a worse hotel but enjoy the city before and after all the tourists sleeping in Mestre and Lido left the city!!!! Mehr

This hotel was a short walk to the train station which was convenient because we only stayed in Milan for one night and were traveling Italy by train. The hotel was classic and well appointed. The room was very comfortable for three people. Breakfast should not be missed - it was the best of our trip through France and Italy.

It is perfect for those who need an overnight prior to flying out the next morning. We walked (about 3 blocks) to our hotel from the train station and then walked back to catch the shuttle bus to the airport. The metro is about 2 blocks away as well. It was worth the price that we paid. We left too early to check out the breakfast.

Good hotel. In regards to location it is not very close to some of Milan's tourist sites but there are metro stations very close to the hotel so you can get around quite easily. It is possible to walk to the tourist sites (like the Duomo) but maybe not in the August heat! The location is good for Milan's Central Train Station (5 minutes walk away) […] so if you want to use it for a base to get to places such as Bergamo and Lake Como (like we did!) it is ideal. Quite comfortable 2-night stay in Milano for family of 3. Very close to the central train station, and to main streets that lead to the Duomo (about 15-20 mins pleasant walking). Supermarket right across the street made it very convenient. My wife & daughter fell in love with the way the room keys were organized & displayed at the front desk.

Excellent hotel not far from railway station and close to shops. Would highly recommend.

This was our first stay in Italy. What a good hooves of hotel. The rooms where lovely, free breakfast included and literally a minute from the metro into town and also central station for the airport bus .

We were upgraded on arrival , room was well sized. Staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good. Metro station very close by to get into the city center. The hotel was good value and would recommend if you are in Milan.

A very comfortable hotel just 10 minutes walk from airport shutlebus. The room we had was very well sound-proofed, with a large comfortable bed. A good night's sleep! The breakfast buffet was generous and served in an elegant dining room.

Smart hotel within easy walking distance of Milan Central Station and local Metro service. Appearance of repairs in bathroom could be improved, otherwise the room was comfortable with impressive wooden furniture.

I recently booked two rooms at this hotel for a visit to Milan. I was traveling with friends and family from the US along with my niece from Rome. While we attended a cooking class at La Cucina Italiana, my niece hit Via Buenos Aires to window shop. This hotel's location is excellent for access to both. All good, really liked it but there was thing which really enoyed me - staff attitiude at the reception, they do not welcome guests at all, they read newspaper when you try to talk to them or simply they chat to their colleague next to him instead of paying attention to you.

We had an unexpected visit to Milan and choose this hotel as it was in walking distance to the train station and airport shuttle. We were unexpectedly delighted with the quality of the service and the well appointed hotel and room. It was also easy to access all the sights either by walking or public transportation. The front desk was extremely helpful […] is assisting us in sightseeing, internet access and transportation options. We were there for three days and loved our stay. not recommended. the surrounding neighborhood is not recommended for a female traveler - very sketchy. hotel needs to be updated from its gaudy fake imperial look. this was the only hotel in my travels that still uses a hotel key instead of a card - not a big deal but shows lack of any updates to modernize the hotel. the breakfast was the main highlight. […] good options and attentive wait staff.
