Dieses Hotel war für uns nur ein Zwischenstopp, aber wir waren sehr zurfrieden! Die Zimmer sind rießig, ebenso wie das Bett und der Parkplatz. In der Mitte der Anlage gibt es einen Pool, der bei sommerlichen Temperaturen von 45° auch unerlässlich war. Untertags gibt es am Pool sogar einen kleinen Shop wo man ein paar Sachen zu trinken und evt. auch […] zu essen bekommen. Wenn der Shop schließt gibt es aber trotzdem noch einen Cola-Automaten mit antialkoholischen Getränken und einen Eisautomaten. Zur Lage würde ich sagen dass es eher abgelegen ist, was aber meiner Meinung nach nicht stört, weil man ohnehin alles sehr leicht mit dem Auto erreichen kann. Das Badezimmer war hygienisch wenn man über Kleinigkeiten hinweg sehen kann (ich bin sehr kleinlich und fand es trotzdem sehr ok dort). Fazit: absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel mit Pool, sehr freundlichem Personal und tollen Zimmern Mehr

Staff is wonderful. Lady attending the front desk was very courteous and helpful. The room rate was comparable to the room . We stayed 3 nights and had 2 rooms.

99% of our stay was absolutely wonderful...I enjoyed the Pool, the bed was comfortable, and the continental breakfast was better than average. We only had one oops in the whole stay and that was the "ugly" bug we found in the bathroom, but HOTEL maintenance came right up and took care of it. So, awesome for that, cause I am a wimp. I am very happy with my stay at Vagabond Inn. I've stayed here before and I'll come back again. The only thing is I wish it was closer to Indio/Indian Wells. The room was very confortable. Huge closet space equiped with a microwave and a refrigerator. It had a huge closet space, with an iron and ironing board, a hair drier, and a coffee pot. The staff […] was very freindly, I've called in and let them know that I'll be checking in later than expected and they take care of everything and have everything ready upon arrival. The grounds are very clean, the pool and hot tub are great, and the free continental breakfast is SO good for it being complimentary. You've got waffles, toast or bagles to choose from. Hard-boiled eggs, cereal, apples. To drink you can have coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or if you prefer a cold beverage, theres milk, orange juice or cranberry juice. Great place to stay for not a fortune! The only thing I would change is make it be closer to Indio/Indian Wells. But I'm sure if that was the case the prices would also go up. Mehr

Really enjoyed the continental breakfast. Staff was friendly. Great place to stay.

This hotel is not bad, nothing fancy but good deal. We went to Stage Coach and a bunch of the hotels guest were also attending Stage Coach. Would stay again!

Good value for the money.

We booked a non-smoking room and as soon as we opened the door the cigarrette smell hit us. The smell was so strong that it smelled as if someone had just been in the room smoking. Overall I was dissatified with this hotel, I wouldn't booked with them again.

The Vagabond isn't a resort but for a weekend away when you are only showering and sleeping in the room it's perfect. Good location, clean rooms and reasonable price.

The pool was fantastic, continental breakfast was also very good, lots of choices! All staff were very helpful. Clean rooms. Location was great - suggest you try brushfire bar and grill about a five minute walk down the street - great food, great service, super friendly.

Awesome location.Awesome prices. BUT old rooms with old wornout beds.I did find a dead small worm in a pillow.

Place a little older. stayed seven nights.boring breakfast, same thing every day. but it was free. small area for breakfast items. Clean pool and hot tub. Ventilation in bathroom didn't work. Shower had weak flow. nice pool area but smaller then pictures. I'd stay there again..

Everything was fine except that when we are trying to check-in, the personnel in the desk was at the end of his shift so he was reluctant to seek room availability since 5 minutes after his shift ended as he is leaving the hotel, he told us to check with the other incoming personnel maybe there are some rooms available already. Also, the bathroom shower […] pole in our room was not affixed to the wall properly and kept falling whenever you close the curtain. Mehr

Great location and great price. Love the hot tub and pool!

The room's smell was not good and the neighbors were very noisy. Good breakfast, pool and location.

It is in a convenient enough location but there were lots of little things. The hotel was old - fair enough - but the lights beside the bed did not work, we had to use the neighbor hotels wifi, they photo copy your license and credit card at check in which I think is unnecessary to have both and would not destroy them when we checked out. Front counter […] staff were not very friendly. It wasn't horrible but I think there are better places. Mehr

We stayed one night and really enjoyed it. The pool area was wonderful - very clean, and private. The breakfast had a good selection and the option to sit and eat outside by the pool was wonderful too. Our room was very large! Would stay here again!

Excellent experience. Staff was always nice and helpful quick check in and check out. Room was clean property was clean. Complimentary breakfast was well worth it. Overall 5. This was my second stay and I'll def return next year.

We would definitely use this hotel on our next visit to Palm Springs. The breakfast is nice, the kids loved the pool, the people were friendly and down-to-earth, the location is great. The only complaint and the only reason this hotel is not perfect is that the Internet/Wifi did not work at all. This was quite a pain. The beds were very comfortable […] and we didn't have a problem with the AC. Our room overlooked the pool and mountains...it was beautiful. The only other criticism is that this hotel is very smoker-friendly. This was not a real problem for us though. Mehr

Great price, but older motel. Bed wasn't that comfortable and room was dated. It did have a refridgerator and microwave. We were on the back side and that was quiet, and was not too far from downtown Palm Springs. I would stay again for the price.

Tried all night to connect to the internet, and no success. The signal was really poor. The bed sheet is not clean, and had some worn due to overuse. Otherwise, the hotel is fine.

Stayed 18/03/12-24/03/12. This hotel was perfect for us. Nice walk to downtown Palm Springs. Had plenty of resturants close. Beef Wellington at Lyons was great. We got a great price for the time of year, Friday more as all hotels go up on the Weekend. Very friendly and helpfull front desk staff, Breakfast was fine, could use some yogurt but served the […] purpose. Motel and grounds were clean and well maintained. Pool and deck was clean and hot tub was hot. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Not a fancy resort but with the money you save you can spend it on all the things to do in the area. You have to take a trip to Joshua Tree N.P. it was great. Mehr

My husband was traveling on business when asked for a receipt she replied "I gave you one already" when I reached home and looked at the receipt she gave me it has no dollar amount for the 3 nights we had stayed there - this is not acceptable for reimbursement for the travel; when I called she put me on hold; so I hung up and recalled and the line rang […] for 20 times and was never picked up; will never stay there again Mehr

Nice breakfast, clean room and good service.

This is the second time we stayed here. This is a great hotel for the price. Great pool and spa. Clean rooms. My only complaint is they made me go downstairs to the office to get towels, but other than that it was a good stay. Thanks.

Very good hotel. Continental Breakfast good, but very hard to obtain the goodies as the room is SO small.

Great value for the price. Nice pool, friendly people and great breakfast and you can't beat the price.

Nothing fancy, but a good stay. Bed was a bit uncomfortable but it was very reasonably priced for a one night stay in the Palm Springs area. Free continental breakfast was simple but did the job. For dinner, we went to a nearby Mexican restaurant, Taqueria Tlaquepaque, which was very good and reasonably priced. If I am ever in the Palm Springs area […] again and looking for a reasonably priced stay, I would consider staying here again. Mehr

Very nice service staff. A good breakfast that includes waffles. Quiet if you are on the third floor and centrally located to the entire area. Very slow WiFi.

Clean & well kept rooms. Close to everything in P.S. and the rates can't be beat. Very nice staff. Will stay there again.

Major drawback was the hours of operation of the swimming pool. It didn't close until 11:00pm, and most nights there was a party going on until then, precluding sleep until after that hour. If you are a night owl, no problem. But I like to turn in around 10:00pm and was unable to. For a hotel of this price, the Vagabond Inn was clean, well-maintained and had OK amenities. It's about a two minute drive (or maybe a 5 minute bike ride) to downtown Palm Springs.

Great little spot . Nice pool. Friendly staff. If looking for a hotel that isn't over the top re luxury but has good value for the money this is it..

we stayed for just over 3 weeks and enjoyed our stay I would stay here again

For the price, this was not a bad hotel and fit our needs for the night that we were there.
