For a lower than average price for a room, don't expect much. Small but clean room. Decor probably from the early 1970s. It was a cheap place to sleep but we didn't do much of that either. Should have brought our own pillows as what was there was flat and scarce. Next time would probably spring for an extra $30 in exchange for something more modern […] and comfortable at another nearby hotel. Mehr

We had been at calling hours for a relative on Long Island so we checked in about 10:00pm. The location was convenient. Our No Smoking room reeked of smoking. The attendant at the desk offered a new room or he would spray the room. There was no room with a king bed available so we opted to spray. Staying almost 180 days a year in a hotel, I found this great place coincidentally, just because I planned to see some client close-by. Didn't expect such a clean and comfortable place, perfectly maintained and looking newly renovated. Great deal for the money. Could easily be Hampton Inn or H.Garden Inn. The rooms need upkeep but are very clean and pleasant. tv isn't that great. the restaurant up front is right on the north shore overlooking the sound and the people there are very friendly. the food's good there with another restaurant across the parking lots. beautiful sea wall in front with little balconies for the water view rooms. cheapest hotel […] around. ironic. Stayed there to break the journey as we took the ferry from New London to Long Island and were to return our hire car to JFK airport. In the middle of nowhere, but very clean and quite despite the expressway just right the corner. Definitely need a car to go to restaurant too far to walk.

Friendly staff, convenient location, quiet neighborhood and the one reason they only received a "3" out of "5" for cleanliness is because there were cigarette holes in the comforters and cigarette burn marks on the toilet seat that made it look like the toilet was dirty the cigarette smell did not bother me because I asked for a smoking room, but would […] recommend the hotel. It may have been the room I had, being close to the front of the motel and the street, but my first night was incredibly noisy. Trucks rumbled by all night. My room was clean but painfully small. The people were fine, but I would not go back for the accomodation that I had.

I had reserved a non-smoking room and was supposedly given one. The cigarette smell was very thick in the whole room. I asked to change and they told me that was a non-smoking room... The bathroom vents must all be tied together and the room next to mine must have been a smoking room. stay at the Holiday Inn just down the road.

Very clean room, nicely decorated.

Just the basics. The room was cleen with two relatively comfortable beds as promised. Bathroom was clean and supplied. Flat screen TV. Computer available at front desk. MacArthur Airport is five minutes away.

The cleanliness was the smell as I entered the Lodging area the hall ways, the room was nice and big.

Just an al around great experience. I would love to stay here again and will recommend it to everyone I know. The staff are polite and helpful.

Upon check in we knew this was bad as the clerk was just screaming at people to get the hell out of the lobby or he was calling the cops. I asked if we could cancel and he smiled and said tuss. Yes thats Tuss. He spoke little english and nodded alot. Walking to the room we saw people in the doorways drinking smoking and cooking in the rooms all the […] doors were wide open. It turns out most of the hotel is for welfare and social services families. the room had holes in the walls and stains on the carpet. The shower dripped and there was mold. The clerk was informed and smiledand said i could call tuss and speak with a boss. I smiled back.This was the worst hotel i had the pleasure of staying in. I have had bunkers and fox holes that were cleaner. Mehr
