Holiday Inn Darling Harbour - Haymarket

Das Zimmer war trotz der Lage im dritten Stock sehr finster und man erhielt fast kein Tageslicht. Das lag daran, dass sich der Gebäudeteil in einem entkernten historischen Gebäude befindet und man aus dem Fenster auf die alten Gemäuer blickt. Great location from Sydney Entertainment Centre, but after a great and late night wanting to rest and sleep I could hear a leaking show tap dripping the hole night... In the following morning at check-out I mentioned at Reciepion about my sleep-less night all the Reciepionest could say that I should of told someone and they would give moved me into […] another room... Well located hotel opposite the Sydney Entertainment Centre and next to ChinaTown where you find great food stalls within walking distance anytime of the day. Short 10-15mins walk towards Darling Harbour. Well worth staying here.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was close to everything - we just left the car with the valet service and walked everywhere till it was time to go home - highly recommend

we was told a superior room with a view.the view was a roof with a mona rail outside the window the first room was very small complained and put in to another room this smelled bad of damp and was dissatisfied.

Check in took some time. Arrieved at 3.30 and room hadnt been inspected. Finally got into our room at 4. Room itself was spacious and very clean. Bed was good for the night and the pillows were amazing. Breakfast the next day was delicious. Great location if you want to see a show at the entertainment centre or to spend the day out at sydney. We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. The staff is friendly and room suited our needs. Everything was in perfect working order and most comfortable.Convienient to Central Station, and Daring Harbour with it's exciting vibe, and lots of restuarants to choose from.

The trip was a success. The room was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Easy to walk to any location or take the trains or light rail. I would like to thank Andy for setting up our Gray line tour to the blue mountains. We had a Great time.

Recently spent a girls weekend in Sydney with my daughter and our best friends. We found the location to be perfect and the service excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone looking for accomodation in the centre of Sydney with easy access to shopping, dining and entertainment.

My adult daughter and I stayed in a twin bed room and were delighted to find large comfortable beds with a choice of pillow types. Whilst we would have preferred opening windows, we found the hotel to be perfect for a one night stay for an event at the Entertainment centre, which is directly opposite. We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay. Location very convenient, access to transport great. Breakfast good value, JB's in house bar and cafe area a pleasant spot to relax and people watch. Wifi not free. ?? Suggest wifi be included, plus repaint the 'orange' feature wall in room to a relaxing comfortable colour. Overall 4/5 & yes we recommend this […] hotel and shall stay there again. Very cordial and helpful staff - a great team. Fantastic in convenience of location - mere 10 - 15 minutes walk to Central train station, main bus station, CBD fringe or Darling Harbour. A vibrant Chinatown right behind the hotel - with buzzing night life and lots of eating alternatives late into the night. Tram stop and monorail station (next to Paddy's […] market) a stone's throw away. About 5 minutes to the main George street abounding with shops/shopping centres. Discounting traffic, it is less than 30 minutes by car to the Syd airport. Windows look out to a back wall not a priority to us at all especially after we were given a free room upgrade and we were out most of the time. Initially worried about noise as the monorail passes in front of the hotel but as it turned out, we did not hear any noise as our room was at the back. Overall a very good experience for us and given the choice we will be back here in our next trip. Cheers Mehr

My friend and I enjoyed our stay as we were going to the Quilt show at Darling Harbour. The staff were very friendly and I would recommend the Inn to anyone wanting to stay near Darling Harbour. We will be booking again for the same show next year

The hotel is well located , with a short walk of Darling Harbour. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The only main point I found was the Reception Desk Area / Staff. I found it frustratingly slow and saw the looks in the faces of other guests trying to check in or sort problems out. It is a nice hotel but this area put a bit of a stain on an […] otherwise enjoyable stay. Mehr

The accommodation at the Holiday Inn Darling Harbour was very affordable, comfortable, clean and ideally situated. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Service at reception is really poor.

Friendly helpful staff; especially the concierge

The stay in this hotel was exceptional. The staff were friendly and no request was too big or small. This was from asking for a cup of tea before the breakfast resturant was open to helping to arrange a driver and car for an airport pickup. The rooms were presented beautifully and were very clean. excellent location, plesant walk to Darling Harbour and easy walking distance to the main shopping areas,Mcdonalds directly across from the hotel in the market mall by the hotel there was a food store whichi found handy as i could stock up my fridge,staff were very helpful esp.changing over my traveller cheques which i was struggling to use anywhere, the […] room was comfortable only thing that could of change was the slip mat in the bath couldve been cleaner just a note if you travel around on the public busses you have to buy your ticket in advance from the 7/11 make sure you find out wot zone you want to travel to b4 you buy your ticket as you can't pay on the bus Mehr

convienent location to darling harbour and the tourist attractions

The overall experience was very nice, the lobby is a lot nicer than the guest rooms, but still a good value for the location. Not located on Darling Harbor, but a short walk away and close to Paddy's market. We paid in advance and at check in they asked for our credit card for incidental charges, which there were none, but they still managed to charge […] us almost $50 for no reason. We didn't even open the door to the mini bar...Would not stay here again because of that reason, we have been trying to reverse this charge and its a pain since the hotel is international. Mehr

I was appalled to find out that the hotel had 350 rooms with only 15 car spaces. I had to park my car a 5 minute walk away in a public car park 7 at a cost of $33 a day! Not a good location for a woman on her own. I was disgusted & will never recommend this hotel.

清潔で、安心して宿泊できました。空港へのシャトルバスも停まるので便利だし、繁華街が近いけど別の通りなので、落ち着いて宿泊できました。

初めての海外一人旅、予算はあまり無いけれど安全なところで、ということで地図とにらめっこしながら選びましたが、とても良かったです。 1泊しかせず、殆どホテルにはいませんでしたが、従業員の皆さんもとても親切で、ホテルも清潔。次回もここに泊まりたいと思いました。 チェックアウトしてから発見したのですが、Mid Range Hotel Accommodation of the year で2011年のAward Winnerと書いてありました。どうりで、という感想です。

早朝便で日本帰国の為、5時15分にモーニングコールをお願いしておいたのですが忘れられ、予備に掛けておいた部屋備え付けの目覚ましは鳴りませんでした。 運良く、5時半に自分で起きて事なきを得ましたが、フロントに言うと、朝は2人しかいないので忙しくて忘れちゃった御免だって、ホリデーインのレベルは信じられないレベルでした。

le confort est appréciable personnel aimable, très bien!!!
