wir waren sehr zufrieden mit diesem Hotel. Sehr kinderfreundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber und groß genug für uns drei. Es hat sich absolut gelohnt etwas mehr auszugeben.

Wir haben zu zweit hier übernachtet. Sehr günstig für 3 Nächte über Ostern. Für ein 2-Sterne-Hotel echt TOP ... mindestens so gut, wie die meisten 3-Sterne-Hotels! Das einzige, was gestört hat, waren die unfreundlichen Reinigungskräfte - trotz "Do not disturb"-Schild sind sie einfach reingekommen, und waren sehr, sehr unfreundlich, weil wir noch nicht aus dem Zimmer waren. Die Metro ist ein paar Minuten entfernt. Wir sind anfangs mit dem Auto nach Paris reingefahren... ist aber nicht zu empfehlen - die Metro (Tagesticket lohnt sich!) fährt sehr regelmäßig und überall hin und man hat keinen Stress mit der Parkplatzsuche. Einen Supermarkt hatten wir nicht gefunden... aber der McDonalds war auch nicht weit ;-)

La Défense am äußersten Ende der so genannten "axe historique" (historische Achse) ist ein modernes Hochhausviertel im Westen von Paris und gilt als Europas größtes Geschäftszentrum. Sein Zentrum bildet der Grande Arche, ein modernes, fast würfelförmiges Stahlbauwerk in Form eines stilisierten Triumphbogens, dessen Fassade aus Glas und Carraramarmor besteht. Das Gebäude dient als Amtssitz des französischen Handels- und Transportministeriums, beherbergt die Büros verschiedener Firmen ist Sitz der Internationalen Stiftung für Menschenrechte. Auf dem Dach befindet sich eine große Aussichtsplattform, die über vier gläserne Panoramaaufzüge erreichbar ist. Ein IMAX-Kino sowie ein großes Einkaufszentrum mit Cafés und Brasserien werden sowohl von Touristen als auch von den in der Umgebung beschäftigten Angestellten frequentiert. Skulpturen, Mosaiken und Brunnen hauchen dem von Hochhäusern geprägten Viertel Leben ein.

"Günstige Wochenendtarife /Reception unprofessionel"
Das Hotel liegt soweit mit dem Auto günstig an der Grenze zu Paris. Die Anlage ist qualitativ auf eher bescheidenem Niveau. Die Reception ist von jungen unprofessionellem Personal besetzt, das offensichtlich nicht gerne arbeitet, sich unterbezahlt fühlt und dementsprechend eine minimalistische Arbeitshaltung für normal betrachtet. "Clean hotel, but don't expect too much"
The hotel was very clean, however the room was a little dissapointing. The bathroom was very small, and the bath itself very narrow so when using the shower I had to stand with my feet together. There was a small table and chair in the room, but it wasn't the sort of chair you could relax in. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was OK - nothing special - […] typical hotel buffet style. Hotel is convenient for business travellers in the Courbevoie area. Would probably stay there again on my next business trip, but would check what else was in the area first to see how it compared. "No Bar opened on parties such as New year's eve !"
Me and my boyfriend was very disappointed of couldn't use steam room as every day we been informed that it's closed - and every single day we beed there around 2 hrs before closing time ! Also we been told that on weekends steam room is closed - there were not any informations about it on the website when we was booking the hotel. We choosen this hotel […] especially because there was steam room provided. Me and my boyfriend are unhappy about this fact. Please let me know who is responsible for that inconvienience? We've also been surprised that there was no party provided for New Year's Eve and we could accept it ,but even when we came back to the hotel a bar was closed about 1.30 am. "Nice hotel if you don't mind walking"
Nice clean hotel, good customer service, absolutely worth the money - if you don't mind walking 10-15 minutes to and from the metro to get to the centre. But once you get on the metro it's just a few stops to several attractions.

This hotel was in the business district, about 10 min walk to station (or free shuttle every 30 min), and then about 20 min into the centre of Paris, cheaper than older but more centrally located Paris hotels.

Very mean people in the front desk, was there with my two kids never again I mean never very mean people in the front desk there is a guy in the front desk he think he is the owner very mean guy, they are not nice, they don't even smile at you so I will never stay at this place again.

Hotel was as we expected. A reasonably convenient neighbourhood close to most necessities such as supermarket, restaurants etc. There is also a municipal swimming pool in the centre next door. Particularly convenient to Versailles as the local railway station was on a direct line to the chateau. "Mercure La Defence - Paris - good value for money"
Advantage: on the metro line 1, so easy access to the city centre, within 77-10 min,shuttle bus to the metro station (other was walk between the huge buildings up to 15 min), you have to find the G exit from the metro and later on you will spot the sign for the mercure hotel and you have to ring them to let them know you are there, staff spoke English […] in the night too:) when check in a little bit disapointed, nobody look after us for about 10 min and couldn't find our reservation but was sorted very quickly then, if you are lucky and get the room with the view to Eiffel tower, it's amazing, we didnt but our friend did Mehr

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days and it was a very pleasant experience. The hotels lobby is very nice and the restaurant is great. They offer shuttle service to the nearest metro station which is only about 5-10 min walking. Only issue was with the wifi signal which wasnt so strong. "Good location"
About a 15 minute walk to the La Defense center area where there's a shopping mall and the Metro. Very affordable rates, I would recommend. Spoke English, which was a plus.

The hotel and staff were wonderful. They surprised us with an upgrade. Room had a great coffee maker and mini fridge with complimentary drinks which was convenient. "Nothing special"
Standard hotel, nothing extraordinary, but descent. No washclothes, no English channels, bad shower design (wet floor). Nice shuttle to train station, if you can fit (8 passenger), waited forever. It was okay, however wouldn't stay again.

The hotel is located 10 - 15 min walk from La Defense business district which was very convenient for me. Hotel is nice and clean - at the very reasonable price. Internet is included - and it works fine (wired internet). Not far from metro and train station. Nice hotel and I would stay there again.
"STAY HERE!"
I have nothing but praises for Mercure Paris La Défense 5. We have an active 2-year-old toddler with us on the trip and knew that we didn't want a hotel in the heart of Paris, where the rooms are tiny and expensive. I booked this hotel on our very last minute trip and checked in about 8 hours later. Having been a guest in many European hotels before, […] I was immediately impressed by the neighborhood, the appearance of the hotel, and the size of the room. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and thoroughly cleaned daily, and the breakfast buffet was AMAZING! We never walked to the subway station, but I would imagine it is a nice 10-minute work out. Never had any problems taking the shuttle, which left about every half an hour or so, and we bought 2-day Paris pass that allowed us unlimited use of public transportation. The train came every 2-5 minutes and it took less than 15 to get to the heart of the city. We especially adored all the little restaurants around the hotel. The Thai/Vietnamese/Chinese take out place and the sushi restaurant behind the hotel are not to be missed (amazing food AND cheap!). My darling daughter loved the park and playground that were right across the street. Carrefour is right next door and easily accessed by the connected shopping area. The whole neighborhood is exceptionally cleaned and very orderly. The hotel staff always made us feel very welcome and at home. I've already recommended another group of friends with small children this wonderful hotel and we hope to return again in a very near future! Mehr

It takes a bit of walk to Metro (10 min), We tried to take the shuttle but when it was full (about 8 person max), you have to walk, room have only bare facility, no drinking water provide. we can't get the electrical adapter from the receptionist.

Very happy with the Hotel. Free Shuttle to the metro every half hour was extremly helpfull, fenced in private parking,view of the Eiffel Tower from the sundeck. The counter staff spoke english well and were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable. Hotel propre, chambre tres agréable et silencieuse ! J'y retournerai !! Seul petit bémol : douche avec faible pression > pas évident de rincer des cheveux longs plein de shampooing . Et également un accueil un peu froid par les receptionistes !
Très bon hôtel. Personnel accueillant et sympatique. Cependant, le prix du petit déjeuner est trop élevé.

Hotellet har bra standard. Personalet i resepsjonen er hjelpsomme og snakker godt engelsk. Frokostbuffeen er god. Litt lang avstand til Metro, men hotellet har gratis transport til Metro. Fra metro kommer man raskt til sentrale steder i Paris uten linjebytte. Gode spisesteder i området ved hotellet.

Le Mercure Paris La Défense est un hôtel sans âme, mais où on peut dormir, ce qui est déjà pas mal. L'accueil,le soir, fût chaleureux et sympathique. Le reste est insipide. Propre mais insipide....... Le choix de produits proposés au petit déjeuner est assez correct pour un hôtel parisien, mais l'éclairage de la salle est glauque. Les leds rouges ne […] mettant pas vraiment en valeur un visage encore assoupi. de plus, les couverts étant jetés sur table un peu au hasard et les thermos y restant à demeure, on a parfois du mal à distinguer une table dressée pour un nouveau client d'une table pas encore débarrassée. We (family, mam, grandma )went to Paris for the weekend by car, so for us the location was perfect, i could park the car for 15eur/day and it was 10min driving to downtown, eiffeltower, louvre, arc triumph, etc... Hotel breakfast was great, beds are comfy... so, all very nice!

We can recommend this hotel. It was cheap and the rooms where nice and clean. A very nice asian restaurant close by should be paid a visit - very nice food. I may go to this hotel again....:-)
