Wir sind hier auf unserer Durchreise nach Hawaii für eine Nacht abgestiegen und können das Hotel für einen Zwischenstopp nur weiterempfehlen. Durch seine unmittelbare Lage am Flughafen (es gibt einen kostenlosen Shuttleservice, die Busse fahren alle 20min) ist die Umgebung natürlich nur bedingt attraktiv (Flughafen eben), allerdings haben die Architekten […] das beste daraus gemacht. Wie gesagt: für einen Zwischenstopp sehr empfehlenswert, sauber, unkompliziert und gut ausgestattet, allerdings würde das Hotel (aufgrund der Lage) nicht für einen San Francisco-Urlaub empfehlen, dazu liegen Flughafen und Umgebung einfach zu weit weg vom Zentrum. when we made the reservation, I asked for a king bed and a single bed. What we had was two queens. I asked the lady at the front desk Sat morning about it she said they don/t even have a room like i requested. but in fact they do. We would not stay at this hotel again. She was rude to me and not at all interested in trying to resolve the issue.

We paid for a "bay view room". None were available, rude clerk. We were told that our booking was with Expedia, not Hotels.com . Called Hotels.com, they confirmed the upgrade, then hung up. Older hotel, sort of shabby, but close to the airport. Oh well. Not the best experience.

The room and facilities are inconsistent with the Westin Brand. The walls are dirty and scratched, the bed has seen better days and there was hair from the previous guest in the shower. I will not stay there again.

Very comfortable hotle. Airport shuttle runs every fifteen minutes

At night, there aren't many people there to help guests check in. Expect to wait unless you're the only person there. And if you've missed a flight and contact Hotels.com to book a room here, expect another wait. Took nearly an hour for the booking to get from hotels.com to the hotel.

The hotel was just ok.

My and finances stay at the Westin was beautiful, our day was filled with negative results trying to find a hotel on new years eve. We were scared that rooms weren't going to be avaliable as they were not in many of the hotels surrounding the air port and greater San Francisco area. We were treated like royalty, they up graded our room free of charge […] to the 6th floor, bought us both breakfast the next morning and paid for our parking. Due to the horrific story we had told him about our hotel searching night mare. The room was shockingly beautiful and the bed was heaven, we both slept like angels and were prepared for our drive home to Seattle Washington!! I will never trust another hotel as much as I did them and I will always visit!!! Thank you Danielle and team!! See you next time!! Mehr

Its a gummer that they charge for parking 20 bucks. Hotel is nice shuttle is great. However it is nickel and dime. Stay away from tyatnand it is good.

The main reason to pick this hotel is for it's proximity to the airport. There are obviously nicer neighborhoods in the SF area but if you need to be near the airport, this is a great place to stay. What really set the Westin apart from many other hotels I've stayed at was the amazing service of the staff. I was running very late for a flight and had […] a number of papers that needed to be carted on the flight with me. Three staff members helped me acquire boxes and pack my papers. Then the hotel suggested that I leave my rental car at the hotel and just take a shuttle directly to my terminal. Since the hotel was so close to the hotel, the rental car company was able to pick up the car without a problem. Thanks to them, I was able to catch my flight and make my next meeting without any problem. Thanks to the Westin staff! Mehr

Bed & linens comfortable, only three towels for two people, charge to open the mini fridge, $14.00 for wifi for one day, $20 to park, if you want more than a roll & coffee- $20 for self-serve buffet breakfast.

the hotel is very nice, but the rooms need major updating. The location is very close to the airport SFO so this hotel is perfect if you have an early flight and need a nice clean place to stay. Plus points that they are pet friendly and provided bowls and a bed! I would stay here again.

My boss and I stayed at the Westin for 2 nights before leaving on an early flight on a Sunday back to the east. The location is convenient with excellent shuttle service to the airport and room prices were attractive. But we were not very satisfied with the overall experience and the other services provided. Afternoon of arrival the coffee shop with […] Starbucks sign was closed, we were referred to the bar but espresso machine was broken - no coffee or snacks. Room 428 although across the floor from the elevator was very noisy. You could not hear the aircrafts outside but elevator noise was far worse. A/C problems in both rooms, one was too hot (over 81 F) the other fan only worked in high mode (quite some air flow) Restaurant was below average. No draft beer - broken. Reception staff was not too responsive and very self focused. Overheard comments like "I am here for too long..." Not a happy work place. I guess this Westin needs some overhaul. Why 4 stars? Because it was clean, room was comfy and what do you expect from an airport hotel ... Mehr

Cheaper to stay here than the city and very easy(20min) drive to down town. Great alternative to staying in a 250 dollar Downtown over priced room that doesn't have the same amenities .

Wonderful Hotel. Great location. Super view of the Bay. So many things to do and so close. The Westin is the very best. Everyone who works there are awesome. Boooking agents are very helpful and nice. Business, fun or one night stay, it is totally worth it. Thank you.

Seriously? This hotel really needs to upgrade its wireless provider. Had an important meeting and could not send or receive email from my room. On the phone with tech support for 20 mins with no resolution other than to plug in to the modem?? Still unable to get enough bandwidth! Very disappointing for a Westin. We stayed for one quick night, as we arrived at the S.F. airport too late to get a connecting flight until the next morning. Very nice hotel with shuttle service to and from the airport every 15 minutes. Only negative for me was that breakfast wasn't included in the room charge. I normally look for places to stay that provide breakfast, and if I'd thought […] of that when booking, I might have found another hotel. The breakfast was very good, but it set us back over $40 for the two of us. Coffee and orange juice in the restaurant are each $4.50, but there is Starbucks coffee in the room for those who just want to have coffee and run to the airport. Mehr

I haven't been disappointed in a Westin yet ! Very clean, comfortable and quiet. My mother stayed with me and had to leave for the airport at 4 am...my flight did not leave until 3 pm the next day. I felt very safe staying there myself. Check out time was normally at 12 noon...due to my flight not leaving until 3 pm, they extended my checkout time until […] 1 pm without me even requesting them to do so. Shuttle service was friendly, clean and on time also ! I would recommend this Westin completely ! Mehr

We loved staying here. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The place is pet friendly which was a big bonus as I was flying out the next day with my small dog. There is a walking path right across the street that goes along the bay. The bartender poured great drinks and the food was great!! The shuttle to the airport the next morning was right on […] time and very friendly and helpful. The rooms were so clean and the beds very very nice and comfortable. First time I have stayed at a pet friendly hotel but the place and the rooms were so clean you never would know that pets are allowed. We are very impressed with this hotel and will be back for sure. Great place to stay if you're doing business in that part of the city, very convenient.

I love Westin hotels. This was a great hotel. Loved the indoor pool with long hours. Even though it is out of the ciy it is convenient to drive in and you save money over staying in the city. Great service. Good value for the price.

Wonderful Staff. Great place to spend a night. Gym was under construction, but that made the time to relax even better. Love the awesome fluffy beds and the yummy smell of white tea that fills the whole place.

Had to stay over a night before catching a flight and had the great good fortune to land at this Westin. Easy to get to, with free shuttle service both ways. Lovely location across the street from the water, complete with walking/running path. Best of all was the amazing vegetarian food I had at the hotel restaurant for dinner -NOT what I expected. […] Some of the freshest, best asparagus I've ever had, a mixed salad with fresh mint and a few other intriguing flavors, and the most delicious caprese salad I've ever had - surprisingly wonderful, and reasonably priced. this was the only hotel in the SF area I could find with 2 beds not realizing it was the weekend of the SF Marathon. We were able to check in early with the assistance of a lovely, perky desk clerk. She mistakenly put us in the wrong room and was appologetic and did not charge us for parking. We returned to our room late that night and it smelled like […] someone had just smoked in our room. It is a non-smoking hotel but clearly there are guests that do not respect the policy. They promptly moved us to another room and appologized for it being on a lower floor. The service was exceptional and I will stay there again. Mehr

The hotel itself is nice. Had to pay for parking each day and for internet access. We asked for a bay view room and the view was obstructed by the dome covering the pool area. There was an on site restaurant for meals but was way too expensive. Other places to eat where very far away. When asked how to get to the local sites was told that taking a taxi […] would be less expensive than driving and parking. This turned out wrong. Taxi would have been way more than parking at a lot near the wharf. The pool is the only part of our experience here we enjoyed. Mehr

From the bay view windows you can watch the planes land and take off. From the other side you look at the US 101 traffic and hills. There is more noise from the hallways and other rooms than the airplanes. Parking is very congested and you pay a significant fee for the privilege. We were visiting friends in Burlingame so it was very convenient.

You do not get the room you pay for in adwance, 13,95 pr. 24 hourser for slowest internet connection, 2$ pr. hour for parking, 10$ for parking by night, Quite expencive when you get your bill. But good breakfast to ok price (10$ continental + 10$ for egg and bacon and pancakes.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We wanted to stay outside the city but close enough to drive in. The location was great and the staff was exceptional. We arrived late and missed the restaurant but were able to go into the bar and order dinner from the regular menu. I would recommend this to everyone as their first option when visiting San Francisco. Located close to the airport, with access to Bart and local transpiration.

I stayed at a Travelodge on the same trip and they charged nothing. 23-25 bucks for wireless is flatout obnoxious. And you have to PAY for Internet down in the business room. Pure gouging. Also 20 bucks a night to park your car. Whats next? Are you going to charge to use the elevator?

This Westin was run down,dirty and the service was poor. The food in the restaurant was inferior. I will not stay there again.

The staff was unwilling to help with our needs. We asked to use an unoccupied conference room to play some board games since the rooms have no table in them and were promptly told no. I'd have understood if we were asking for extra services from it or if they had been occupied, but neither was the case. So much for Westin going "above and beyond" for […] their customers. Mehr

Although the hotel is conveniently situated close to the airport, the Bay view room we booked was overlooking the parking lot and Airport. There was no Bay View. We had to request twice for our booked Bay View before we finally were given a Bay View Room. The Room and the hallways have not been well maintained and show wear and tear. Typical airport hotel experience. Nothing special. Probably not worth cost differential vis-a-vis other hotels in airport area. Business Center printer out of service causing some inconvenience

Fine place to stay. Very comfortable beds.

TV didn't work. Coffee maker didn't work. We were spending too much to have to deal with issues like that. Not up to the usual Westin standard.

I am disappointed that the hotel does not provide FREE wireless access. We are in 2011!!!

Have stayed there several times in the 1980's & 90's. Hotel has not been updated at all. Needs a major remodel . Too close to runways, very loud
