Feb. 2013Hotel befand sich zum Zeitpunkt zwischen 2Baustellen(1direkt im Gebäude daneben, 1Anfang der Rue de l'arbre sec),dazu der Mini-Empfang=Schock.Wir waren am Wochenende da=keine Lärmbelästigung.Wir sind Mo.früh abgereist, im Haus neben sehr laut.Wir kamen um 10h an,Check-In ist um14h.Das Gepäck habe ich nicht hinterlassen,es wäre von außen sichtbar gewesen,das ist bei monogrammiertem Gepäck nicht wünschenswert.Das Zimmer konnten wir um 11:30Uhr beziehen,wir waren in Chambre Pont-Neuf( 5.Et.)Zimmer war sauber+für frz.Verhältnisse groß,genauso wie das Bad(bodentiefe Dusche+Doppelwaschbecken).Es gab,wie erbeten,2getrennte Betten.Sauberkeit:Bettwäsche+Handtücherl(auch beim demonstrativen Stapel auf dem Boden)wurden nicht täglich gewechselt.1neuer Anstrich+neuer Teppich würde nicht schaden.Servicequalität,keine 4*: Hoteldirektor haben wir am Anreisetag gesehen,das war‘s.Frühstück jd Morgen anders ist,obwohl wir immer das Gleiche bestellten.Sehr ärgerlich war,dass ein bestellter grüner Tee mehr als30Minuten dauerte.Angeblich gab es keinen grünen Tee im Haus(!).Dies kann ich in 1“4*Haus“nicht nachvollziehen.Wieso kein Tee von Kusmi, Frères Mariages o.Angelina,anstatt Lipton?Keine Kommunikation mit dem Gast.Ich bin Französin,die Sprache war nicht Verständigkeitsproblems.Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorzuheben,nah an 2Metrostrationen(M1+M7)sowie der Rue de Rivoli.Fazit:kein 4*Niveau,die Kombi kl.Hotel+die Lage ist gut bis sehr gut,wenn man dafür Abstriche beim Service akzeptieren will.

"Hotel de Littre ist auch für Paris "Erstlinge" sehr zu empfehlen - Vieles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen!"
Daneben liegen Metro und Busstationen wirklich nur in Steinwurfweite und wenn man nicht im Hotel frühstücken möchte (20 € pro Nase) dann gibt es alles was französich ist in dieser Hinsicht gleich mehrfach um die Ecke herum. Wenn man mit dem eigenen Auto anfährt, dann ist auf jeden Fall die Anmietung der Hotel - Garage gleich um die Ecke wichtig. Es […] gibt sonst keine Parkplätze und abgeschleppt wird in der Regel sehr, sehr schnell !! Evtl. auch andere Parkhäuser in der Nähe testen. Preise nicht bekannt. Hotel ist für Paris sehr ruhig und erst vor Kurzem renoviert worden. Alles was man so braucht ist vorhanden. WiFii in der Lobby ist auch schnell genug. Zu erwähnen ist die Brasserie "Le Petit Littrè" schräg gegenüber dem Hotel. Hier ist es lustig, der Wein ist gut, die Sandwiches ebenso. We had an unexpected overnight in Paris so arrived with no luggage or toiletry. Two gentlemen at the front desk provided us toothbrushes and toothpaste. "Very comfortable hotel"
We enjoyed the proximity to little markets and bistros. We found that public transportation was very nearby and easy to navigate. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and the shower had great water pressure. Our room had no view to speak of, but there was a television with some English channels and we only used our room to shower and […] sleep. Though I was not feeling well one day and relaxed there all afternoon even taking a long hot bath and I found the room to be a relaxing haven from the city. "Perfect Paris!"
The Left Bank of Paris should never be discounted as a location from which the city can be explored, especially the district near Montparnasse. we found the Hotel le Litre to be ideal. It is close to major subway lines, and easy to get to from Charles de Gaul/major train stations. Located a short walk from either St. Placide or Rennes stations, it is […] located on a quiet yet safe side street off the Rue du Rennes. The front desk staff was amazingly accomodating, and were able to communicate effectively in either French or English. The hotel rooms were beautifully appointed and in excellent cleanliness. (Our travelling companion couple, who had been to Paris several times, emphatically stated that the Hotel le Litre was the best hotel they had had in the city.) The breakfast, while a little pricey, was excellent. The price for the rooms was excellent (and I have to admit that due to our early arrival, my wife and I were upgraded to a superior room with balcony view of the Montparnasse Tower, the dome of Les Invalides, and the Eiffel Tower - a view that was nothing but breathtaking!). We were able to easily walk to St. Germain du Pres, train to all of the major sites on the Right Bank, and get anywhere in the city in twenty to thirty minutes. We cannot imagine a better long weekend in Paris, and the choice of Hotel le Litre as oiur home there made the trip perfect for us. We cannot recommend it highly enough! My wife and I were on business and vacation. We got great service by a very frendly and responsive staff. All staff were very helpful and worked well as a team. "We loved it!"
We brought our two 8 year olds with us. We all absolutely loved this hotel. Convenient to a major Metro stop, numerous dining establishments, shopping and entertainment. Helpful staff. Beautiful and roomy room & bathroom. We will definitely stay here again.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

Great sized rooms in charming hotel close to Blvd. Montparnasse - pretty easy to get everywhere. The hotel bar is well worth a miss as it lacks anything approaching ambience and breakfast is pricey at 20 euros for what's on offer..but these are small niggles for what's a good hotel.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"Le littre hotel"
Hotel is closer to Montparnasse than the heart of Saint Germain. It is dated and tired looking. I feel it was overpriced for what it was. There are newer, more stylish hotels in this vicinity that are much better value for money. One good point, it is close to the Metro Montparnasse-Bienvenue.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

The service here was great. The staff was very friendly and gave good recommendations. The location is also very good. There is a large Metro stop nearby with trains heading in several directions. Close to good restaurants and not too far from the beautiful Luxemburg Gardens. The rooms where clean and nicely furnished for the price. Good size room and […] bathroom, by European standards. "Great Value - Close to everything"
Great and friendly staff. Hotel is walking distance to most of the major sites. Travelled with my husband and a friend and room was much larger than others I have stayed at in Paris previously. "Very comfortable for a family stay."
Excellent hotel - clean, comfortable, quiet. Great location. We stayed in a deluxe room with 2 children (aged 3 and 8) - plenty of room for the sofa bed and cot (provided). Old-fashioned building meant sound-proofing was good (in courtyard-facing room). Room service expensive, but to be expected in Paris! Excellent breakfast.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"Charming hotel in excellent location"
From the moment we arrived at the hotel on Monday afternoon until we left yesterday (Thursday), we had nothing but praise for the helpfulness of the staff, especially Thomas, who was charming & willing to help in any way that he could. Our room was spotless & the beds so comfortable we didn't want to get up! The position of the hotel Le Littre was amazing […] - so central & easy to get to anywhere in Paris, either by Metro or by bus, yet so quiet & peaceful at night. There were plenty of restaurants around within a short walking distance, & if you weren't booked in for breakfast just around the corner was an excellent coffee & croissant shop. We would recommend that anyone visiting the hotel for the first time & arriving byMetro gets off at Saint Placide rather than Montparnasse, which is rather a rabbit warren of different ways to take out of the station. We are a family of 4 and stayed in the deluxe room. It was extremely comfortable, the double bed is huge and the pull out sofa bed worked well for the children. The room was very clean and comfortable and if we leant out of the window we could see the Eiffel Tower! Breakfasts were expensive but we weren't charged for the children and there was a wide […] choice rather than just croissants. Staff really helpful and friendly. There are good restaurants nearby and Montparnesse has great connections for the metro. The Jardins du Luxembourg are within walking distance with a fantastic play area for younger children. "Very dirty and smelled horrible!"
My hotel room smelled horrible! The carpet and bedspread were filthy and I asked that the bedspread be removed from the room. I purchased air freshner just to cover the smells. The pipes were extremely noisy and I could hear everything from the bathroom above me. Would not stay at this hotel again! Not at all a four star hotel!!!!!Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

This hotel is not very attractive, but is clean and feels safe. It's not close to anything, although the Metro is about four blocks away. Taxi service is slow and only happens if the desk calls for you. Do not in any case go onto nearby streets or even to the taxi stand to try to get a ride - that is impossible. The desk personnel are not rude, but […] cool and reserved, not friendly. They do not volunteer help and really seem uninterested in their guests. There are many better choices in Paris.
