Das Four Point bei Sheraton liegt in gut erreichbarer Nähe zum Calgary Airport, wobei man durch eine Sperrung der direkten Anbindung zum Flughafen bis Ende 2013 nicht direkt zum Hotel kommt. Unbedingt den Shuttlebus nutzen! Hervorragender Service des gesamten Personals, wobei insbesondere der Empfang herausgeragt hat. Zimmer sind modern und komfortabel eingerichtet und trotz der Flughafennähe sehr ruhig. Einzig das Frühstücksbuffet präsentiert sich den späten Frühstücksgästen etwas unaufgeräumt. Die Umgebung ist allerdings aufgrund der Flughafennähe unattraktiv, so dass sich das Hotel nur im Zusammenhang mit Ankunft oder Abflug aus Calgary anbietet.

"Super Hotel"
Super Service beim Empfang! Die Frau die uns Empfangen hatte konnte perfekt Deutsch und gab uns ein super Zimmer Upgrade da wir auf Hochzeitsreise waren! Super Empfehlungen für die Stadtbesichtigung! Das Frühstück war auch gut.

Hotel is great, staff is friendly! Rooms are clean and modern. My only complaints after staying there three separate occasions are the extra costs for parking (very steep), room service is often slow and not good quality food, but very pricey, and two out of three times they forgot to bring part of our meals, then took at least 20 minutes to bring the […] rest. The food definitely is not worth it's high prices. Also the cleaning staff starts very early and are kinda loud when knocking on doors. Mehr

I found that the bed was one of the most comfortable I've had in many recent hotel stays - and I travel a lot. The sheets felt like silk, and I didn't want to get out of bed in the mornings.

Service: Depends on who you get at the front-desk. I am a light sleeper so I called to ask for a quiet room, preferably with nobody above me i.e. top floor. The woman at the other line had the nerve to ask me to pay for an upgrade. At the Westin, this is not a problem, they would not ask you to pay extra for wanting a room at the top floor. I did not […] get a top floor room, thankfully my upstairs neighbor wasn't noisy. More on Service: I forgot my iPhone charger at home and the wonderful man at the front desk let me borrow one overnight. I made sure to return it the next day. Surrounding neighborhood was the Chinatown area, which I didn't feel comfortable walking thru. The hotel is located further away from the heart of downtown, which is all right. I believe that our team did not provide a detailed explanation as to why there was an additional charge for taking a higher room as these rooms have different amenities, different inclusions and different pricing. One of the best among many features of this hotel is the central location of the Delta Bow Valley. This fact was made more clear when I had to drive from the NE at around midnight. Although the sky was clear earlier, a heavy snowfall had occurred while I was inside the casino. There is a Starbucks on sight, but no place to find snacks late at night. The beds were very comfortable. But, there were a few things that made me question the cleanliness... I big dust ball in the corner of the […] bathroom and something that looked like a food stain on the ceiling!?! But that did not take away from the rest of the room, maybe it's just time for a reno. The hotel is in a great location. The parking is 11$ a day which I find to be appropriate for an overnight stay.On the higher levels the view is gorgeous. My only suggestion to people planning to stay is too eat else where. The food is pricey and the staff was rude.

"Good location"
What is the most important thing for a business trip? Location, location and location. This hotel locates at downtown and very convenient to go anywhere you want. However, the bed sheet is only 60% of cotton and airconditioning is noisy.

"Great stay. Beds and pillows are awesome"
Great hotel that is very easy to get to downtown. I would recommend this place to anyone staring downtown. Only complaint is the service at the hotel lounge is quite slow. But it was a Friday evening.

I booked this hotel as a "Stay-cation" as I live in Calgary. The service was great! Nice view of the river. Only complaint was that the maid kept coming back to try to clean when we told her we were checking out that day. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel with adequate amenities in the Downtown Calgary Business District. Appears to have been refurbished and sports a modern decor. Staff are polite, professional and accommodating. I can't speak for any guest room other than our own, but new beds are needed. Ours squeaked and was sunken in the middle, making me think that it was as old as the […] hotel itself. 1 Antwort von Delta Bow ValleyStayed for one night and booked a couples massage and pedicure and manicure, the web sites does not state clearly that these are done in your room, they do not have a spa, so your room gets fukll of nail polish smells, and as well they messed up massage times, so never had one completed, as well the rates jump up and down daily with $60 to $80 price […] swings, not worth the money, much better value in Calgary downtown areas. Errant fire alarms rang twice in a day at unfortunate times....alarms weren't audible in the room. Elevators were shut down for safety. Parking garage was undergoing cleaning so all spaces big enough for a medium SUV (my car was a Tahoe) were off limits. Parking was provided at a nearby hotel though. They charge for in room WIFI- too much, my personal […] pet peeve; most chains where I normally stay don't charge me. The staff did comp me the parking charge though when I complained. Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience at the Delta Bow Valley. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by the fire alarms. The alarms were triggered by the cleaning of our underground parking garage as the pressure washer hit a pull station, twice, when cleaning the walls. Guest and staff safety are our number one priority and as a result of those alarms we had the company that services our alarm system complete a thorough check of all speakers. As part of our life safety testing we run monthly fire drills which allow us to ensure the system is working as intended and allows our staff to put into practice their training. Again I do apologize for the inconvenience caused to you on that occasion. In hindsight we realize this was not a good decision on our part to have the garage cleaned on that weekend as business levels were much higher than originally anticipated and certainly caused inconvenience to you and our other guests which we sincerely regret. The Delta Bow Valley provides complimentary internet in Premiere rooms and up. Our Delta rooms (standard) there is a daily fee. I would recommend that you join the Delta Privilege program which provides complimentary internet to all members regardless of type of accommodation along with many other benefits. In closing, thank you once again for your feedback and I hope that we will have the pleasure of serving you again the next time that you are in Calgary.

I chose the hotel from my positive previous experience with it and from the weekend special rate. Again I was welcomed by a smiling friendly face at the reception and checked in quickly. I don't spend that much time in hotel rooms because I like to be out doing things and usually only use my room to sleep in and rest when I have to. My huge comfortable […] king-sized bed served that purpose hugely when I came in again at 2 a.m. I slept in until 8:30 and was glad that I could sleep in because the bed was so comfortable and there was no disturbing noise from anywhere even though I was in the centre of town! It was definitely a good stay. The concierge there was phenomenal from the start - the rest of the staff equally as great. 2 tiny problems - I had a hair in the bathtub - ew! while it's not life or death, i've cleaned rooms and those little curly things should really be spotted! secondly, i was told when i rang up before hand, before i booked that the […] shuttle fee to the airport was $15 - and finding out it was over double that when I got there irritated me as I didn't want to have to drive all the way to the airport as well. other than that - clean, friendly, great location! First, I do apologize for the delay in responding to your post and review yet was pleased to learn that, overall, it was "definitely a good stay" and in particular our concierge was "phenomenal"! I am pleased to pass along these comments to the entire team, and, all will be pleased to learn that they served you well. Having said that I do wish to apologize for the discrepancy in cost quoted regarding the airport shuttle. Even though this is a third party that operates the shuttle we do need to ensure you are provided the correct information prior to making use of this amenity. With respect to housekeeping items I have reviewed those comments with all concerned and thank you for providing this feedback, it is very helpful. Thank you for for taking the time to post and for your positive comments and comments that allow us to review and make sure we can be the very best to you our valued guest. Hopefully when travels bring you back to Calgary we can look forward to being your home away from home once again.

The Delta Bow Valley has - hands down - the frendliest and most helpful staff we have encountered at any hotel in Canada. Every single staff member we met/saw/passed in the halls went out of their way to say hello and ask us if we needed anything. The hotel is undoubtedly corporately oriented, however we found it to be extremely convenient and comfortable […] for our family. Parking was very accessible, the pool and hot tub were clean and well-maintained and the beds were comfortable. The only negatives were these two: 1.) The water temperature fluctuated severely during showers. 2.) Doors to the room were not especially soundproof. Overall an excellent stay! Mehr
