The hotel was good value for money. A simple breakfast was provided and excellent make your own waffles. The hotel was clean and the staff helpful. The only slight negative would be that the walls were quite thin and the noise tended to travel (something you often find in cheaper hotels). Between the heliport on one side and the police cars racing through the street, there was no sleeping at this place. I did not feel safe in the parking garage either. I checked out early and appreciate Hotels.com refunding me the 2 days I had not stayed.

The location is graet and so is the service. Breakfast is O.K. Rooms are comfortable. We had one day to see the town and it was the perfect place to stay for this purpose.

Good hotel and staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again when in Indy. Beds are a little uncomfortable but for the price you can't beat it

Not a good experience. We arrived early and were told check in time was 3. Fine, we gave the front desk clerk our phone number to call when a room was available. We did not receive a phone call and returned to the hotel around 4. Our room was still not ready and we didn't get in until 4:30. Our air conditioner leaked water on the carpet. We booked this hotel because it was the last hotel with available rooms in our price range. We called the morning of to see what time we could check in and the clerk said at noon. We get there to check in and none of the rooms had been cleaned yet. We walked around town, had lunch, visited some sites. By this time it was 3pm. We go back to check in […] and while doing so, another couple comes back to the desk and says there was other peoples belongings in their room. Another person comes and says the same thing. We go to our room and the same thing...other peoples belongings were in the room! The Hotel had double booked several rooms and messed up another girls reservations to the wrong dates. We had to wait for about 45 minutes for a room to be cleaned. We did not leave any valuables in our room in fear they would try to book someone to our room. Mehr

The walls seem thin. The elevator was slow and old. Staff was fine but I did not have much interaction with them. My destination was the Convention Center and that was a 15 - 20 minute walk. It got tedious after a while. I had to make 2 round trips in one day.

The best price in the location. The room is clean and others equipments are fine. However, the hot water in the bath room is not hot enough.

We found the hotel to be totally booked and I was concerned about using the below ground parking. However it was easily excessible and not crowded. The elevator took us directly to the garrage. Breakfast was very efficient for us with the exception of grounds in the decaf on or last morning, those things happen and the staff was very good. This was […] a return stay and we'll do it again. it was a little hard to find, there are no 'blaring' signs out front screaming its a hotel. the parking was a bit of a mess as well, i felt a bit uncomfortable leaving my car in the underground parking lot. that being said, the breakfast was FANTASTIC, the room was very clean. the outlets where a bit hard to find to plug the laptop in, but the wifi […] worked GREAT. it didn't look like it was a large hotel, but it was pretty large on the inside, i was impressed. at the time it was the only place that had free parking for its guests so that was FANTASTIC, being so close to downtown. we were within walking distance of pretty much everything; walked to circle centre mall, walked by lucas oil, and to our destination bakers life fieldhouse. if you are going to be staying in Indy and need to do ANYTHING downtown THIS IS THE HOTEL YOU WANT TO STAY AT!!! they have everything you need, for quite a fair price! Decent price for a relatively good location for downtown Indianapolis. The hotel is older, but the room features newer furniture and decor. My room door did not lock with the standard key, but the hotel did get me another room. I was a little hesitant at first but was pleasantly surprised. The room was comfortable - nice firm beds and a nice selection of pillows; it even included a microfridge and microwave. The hotel is located on a corner of two busy streets and next to the heliport although with the fan running, I didn't hear anything. My only complaint is that the shower […] never got very hot - you had to let it run for several minutes before it got warm enough to use. The water in the sink was plenty hot but it didn't make it to the shower. The hotel does have a decent continental breakfast - including waffles, biscuits and gravy, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, cereal and an assortment of pastries and breads. They also serve great coffee. The breakfast room is nice and large with a lot of places to sit, including a couch in front of a fireplace. They offer free, covered parking and are located near enough to downtown to walk to restaurants and other venues. Mehr

First time I have stayed in this hotel or in any La Quinta for that matter. The staff, from front desk to housekeeping were extremely helpful and friendly. Would definetly recommend and stay there again. Thanks for a great stay.

Location was close to where I was going. Nice place. Bathroom function wasn't great though. I would stay here again though. Price was very affordable.

I promptly found somewhere else to stay not too long after checking in to this hell hole. I was underwhelmed by nearly all aspects of the amenities, including the severeley limited "free parking." "continental breakfast" was horrible. The room had an enclosure for a microfridge but no mirowave and no fridge. The desk clerk was nice and thats about the […] only good thing. Don't rent the room next to the road. Every five minutes or so a truck will drive by and wake you up. We did'nt sleep at all.

I was extremely happy with my stay at LaQuinta. They are lower in price as they are roughly four blocks from downtown Indy. They had a deal with a cab company that takes you to your destination for a very low set fee. This location is definitely walk able in the summertime. I will definitely stay there again.

Super noisey. Couldn't sleep well. The bathroom door didn't fit and I could barely close it. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself need an update.

Great location and the remodel was done well. I was here Super Bowl week and they didn't jack the prices up like I was expecting.

the hotel says its downtown, but it is to far from anything to walk. It is old and needs lots of updating.

Could've been all 5's, but we didn't get our wake up call and could've cost us alot. Our appointment was VERY important and not receiving the call was devastating. All-in-all, super convenient and comfortable. Taxi service was only $5.00 anywhere in the area which was awesome because we didn't have to be burdened with finding parking. Outside of hotel not the best; however, inside is better. Fuse kept blowing when I was on the treadmill and there were hair dryers going. They fixed it quickly; however, it was frustrating.

Nice location downtown, outside of hotel kind of rough, elevator small and slow. Nice place to stay if you don't need exclusive amenities. Rooms clean and comfortable.

This is just about the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life, but certainly the worst La Quinta Inn. The helicopters landing throughout the night prevented me from getting more than 2 consecutive hours of sleep! Then the party goers arrived home for the night around 3:00am and caused me to wake up again! The hotel is NOT FOR BUSINESS TRAVELERS […] who need their sleep! Mehr

Came here for the Big Ten Championship game and it was a great place. It had parking, breakfast, was close enough to walk to downtown and was very clean and comfortable. A great place.

My friends and I stayed here for the big ten title game. it was just fine for a few guys to go to the bars, and watch a football game. the parking situation was a little questionable, but we each had our own car, so if you ride together you should be good. room was clean, bathroom was clean, and the walk to downtown wasn't too bad.

Nothing special, but everything you need. Staff was friendly and major attractions and restaurants were within walking distance.

hotel was great, front desk was very helpful and it was with in walking distance to the murat center where the concert was. would stay here again.

We were traveling across country with a dog. The hotel was along the route and allows pets to stay free (all LaQuinta's do). It was walking distance to downtown and was a good deal for the price. The hotel is a bit on the older side and doesn't have lots of frills but it fit our needs fine.

Came to Indy for annual marching band competition. This hotel is convenient to all the attractions including shopping. It's clean, free parking, free wifi, nice staff.

This hotel was half the price of the convention hotel but was 5-6 blocks away. The walk wasn't bad, so I was glad I could save the money, but I think it was still somewhat overpriced. The breakfast was very good, as there was hot food and the usual continental items also. The room was good except for the noise the heating unit made -would be great to […] have something that had a low fan on all the time instead of going from silence to operating noise. Also, the light above the sink needs to be brighter. It was not easy to get makeup on in low light. Overall, a good place to stay for less than the major hotels, and parking is free. Mehr

Room was clean but very poorly lit. The web site doesn't show the outside of the hotel which was not attractive. Unless you had an outside facing room you were facing all the other rooms so you basically had to keep your curtains closed for privacy .
