The staff here is wonderful. They're friendly and helpful. The hotel is comfortable, well priced and close to Burlington as well as Winooski's center. Could use some updating however.

The hotel price was right for a family. We loved the indoor pool, the breakfast was excellent and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel just needs some updating (new toilets, mattresses, carpet). It is perfect for a 1 to 2 night stay.

Room was clean & as described. Front desk staff were friendly & helpful. Nice pool for the kids & the breakfast was good. My daughter was especially happy about the waffle maker!

I am a smoker, yet have been in rooms that do not smell like smoke this room smelled like stale cigarettes. There was a burn in the curtains that looked like someone had practically set them on fire. The beds were like rocks, the loft was unbelievably hot. The drawer in the fridge was filled with water, probably to stop it from leaking everywhere because […] the fridge would not stay all that cold. The couch sank, one of the chairs was broken. Clean room and frendly staff, a nice place to stay for a week-end. Can't find a better deal in the area!

Although the staff was very pleasant, the room was not very clean and very old and battered looking. The tv remote did not work - the bathroom was disgusting. I am thankful that it was only for one night!

We took our daughter to an accepted student's day at St. Michael's. It was right across the street. The hotel was extremely convenient. The staff was courtous. The price was competitive. Met our needs!

We were in Burlington to visit St Michael's College and were pleasantly surprised to find this Day's Inn right accross the street from the college. The rooms were a bit tight, but were clean and for the price, I couldn't ask for more. Breakfast included making your own fresh waffles (great for my 13 year old eating machine), along with cereals, fruits […] and toast/muffins. Access to I-89 is very easy and downtown Burlington is about 10 minutes away, taking the back way in. Mehr

Hotel was very clean. Complimentary breakfast was good. Only negative comment like so many hotels that have indoor pool was the smell of chlorine throughout the building. The front desk staff were most helpful. I needed directions and they went on "mapquest" and printed them off for me

Great for the price. It would have been more interesting if the pool was warming, especially in December.

Stayed one night and had a good stay. It was very good for the money. They also had a good breakfast.

I stayed in the "suite" which was very spacious. However, it is probably the only hotel/inn in the country that does not have automatic doors. Carrying out luggage and holding coffee was not such a good idea. Good place for the price.

We stayed two days and we find this hotel an excellent choice with good b fast , good price friendly stuff, rooms are very clean did not smell tobacco on the first floor or at the lobby just keep in mind that is not a 5 star hotel

$4 cab ride from church st. you can't complain about the price for the proximity. it was clean and the staff was nice. this is nit picky, but the elevator smelled really really bad. that's all the bad i can say about it. i'd stay here again.

Nice hotel, good price

Not a magnificent overall building, but reflected the pricing. Service very friendly and thorough. Bed very comfortable, shower great. Room was marginal--again reflecting price. Breakfast good--always a bonus, even though quite predictable.

The hotel is very old and in need of updating. It's ok if you just need to sleep and run, we flew in at midnight and it's very close to the airport so it worked for us. The bed was not too comfortable. There are no power doors at the hotel entrance which is always nice when you have a bunch of luggage.

Great location but awful hotel. It served it's purpose but I've stayed in hotels that are cheap and local in North Conway NH and are much nicer. Was not comfortable. We definitely got the smallest room there because as we were leaving we walked by other rooms being cleaned that were much bigger yet still kinda icky. I'd rather pay a little more next […] time for some comfort. Mehr

The hotel personnel were very friendly. The hotel itself is in need of updating/renovation. In addition, the walls are thin and everything can be heard between rooms. Overall, expensive for what we got.

Not a fussy guy, but I arrived early on a Monday afternoon and you'd figure I'd get a decent room. But they put me in the stairwell...so at midnight when all the folk were coming in...I was awakened pretty constantly. Also - ask for a room AWAY from the road. Pubic hair under the pillow - that was nice. Yuck. Breakfast was the usual. Waffle machine […] (make sure you use the no stick spray), and cereal. All in all I give this place a resounding "eh". If you don't mind 1/2 hour drive, my wife and I stayed in the Comfort in in Stowe last year - same price range, much nicer place. Mehr

Room (suite) with loft was marginal accomodation. Obvious need for carpet repalcement, broken lamps and musty oder. Probalbly was a smoking room at some time in the past. Third level was for smokers and we were assaulted by the odor of smoking everytime we got on and off the elevator. Facility is in need of renovation and general upgrade. Don't get me wrong, the price was right. However, the room stank like vomit. I asked staff to spray something to cover smell. Don't know if they didn't or it just didn't help. You got used to the smell after being in the room for awhile, but it made our clothes stink. My biggest complaint however, relates to the FREE breakfast. There was NO protein […] anwwhere to be had. The staff explained corporate's "no peanut butter" rule, a cheap source of usable protein. Some hardboiled eggs would be a good option. Thanks Mehr

Meet our needs and the breakfast in the morning was perfect. Only negative comments were how dirty the carpet was in our room. Bottom of white socks were black and tacky after wearing a few evenings while walking around the room. Toilet paper was poor quality. Ended up buying our own to use during our stay.

My spouse and I stayed at the Days Inn Burlington Colchester from August 15 to 19 2011. We reserved a non-smoking room because we are not smokers and my spouse gets bad migraines from being exposed to smoke. Our room and the entire floor wreaked of smoke and there was a cigaret butt on the balcony of our room. There was a black sticky substance on the […] bathroom wall that was never cleaned. It was very loud at night and we had trouble sleeping. After 3 nights we saw a bug come out of the walls in the bathroom and then run back in. That was the last straw for us. We complained and were upgraded to a different room. The new room was also a non-smoking room and was equally smoky. My spouse suffered from migraines the entire week. That last night we were woken up at around 2 am by lots of noise and even considered going home instead of waiting until morning. My spouse and I travel often and this was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. If I worked for Days Inn I would be ashamed to have my name on it. Many of our friends and family travel to Burlington and we will warn them not to stay there. On one positive note, the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, they stood outside right under the balconies to smoke. We had to have the doors open because our room smelled so bad and we could smell the staff smoking outside. From now on, we will think twice before staying at another Days Inn. Mehr

We stay here often and are generally quite happy. the location is great for burlington as well as all the great towns around. hotel is clean and well maintained. colors/finishes are dated, but all cosmetic. make sure you remind them of your requested preferences when you check in. Hotel was a short drive from downtown Burlington, the waterfront, and the University of Vermont. It was clean and quiet. Overall it was a good value for the price that I paid.

I would not recommend this hotel. The room was dirty and smelled like old smoke even though it said it was a non smoking room. The decor was outdated and the bathroom needed a makeover.

Looked for the least expensive, clean, safe place to sleep in order to break up a longer trip. Definitely met those qualifications. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was very dated and had somewhat of a dank smell. Staff was friendly and courteous. If all you're looking for is a place to sleep and not pay a lot, this hotel will do.

Room had a musty stale smell.

Cheap price, great location, clean but room had a bit of a smell, beds were comfortable. Very good deal for the price.
