Very nice full service hotel. Good food as well. Nice location within walking distance of many attractions and good neighborhood.

You could hear traffic noise clear as a bell. Woke me up several times. The built in air conditioning unit and portable fan they supplied did not drown out the noise, so it made it difficult to sleep at times. Hotels.com said they not only had a waterpark, but a regular pool. When we got there, we found out the waterpark WAS the only pool. It would […] cost $18 per person to use the waterpark per day. That was misleading, as we were looking for a hotel with a pool. We didn't need anything fancy. Mehr

Its great to find an affordable, four star hotel so close to downtown Milwaukee. I will certainly return!

I stayed at this hotel a couple times but that was a few years ago. There are many hotels in the area, but I chose this one because of the good experiences I had here in the past. Unfortunately the hotel took a turn for the worse, the staff was average, but if you decide to go to the hotel bar, expect very slow and unfriendly service. The main reason […] I was so disappointed with my stay was the cleanliness. The common areas of the hotel is beginning to look run down, but the condition of the rooms were boarder line apauling. I had friends staying in a different room who had similar complaints. The wall paper is pealing from the walls, every white surface had dirt on it, and many other minor issues. I would definitely recommend staying at another hotel in the area, this one simply is not worth your time or money. Mehr

Hotel was absolutely gorgeous ! Hitlons of course are always nice but this one was phenomenal... especially for the price ! The appointments were perfection.. from the dark paneled elevators to the marble tile to the chandeliers in the lobby. We did eat dinner at the MIller Time bar and it was great ! We stay at the hotel often when we are in Milwaukee and have always been pleased. The hotels.com rate made it even better.

I had a wonderfull stay at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center over a weekend. The room was lovely and the staff was very attentive. It was very convenient to downtown Milwaukee and made my stay very pleasant.

The Hilton was walkable from the Amtrak station, which was great. Unfortunately it wasn't really close to much nightlife. The room was very nice, shower was more like a sprinkle though. I also can't stand when hotels are still charging for wi-fi...get with the times!

Nice hotel...nice location.

The girlfriend and I stayed for a Bucks game at the Bradley Center. It was very easy to get around as everything was in walking distance. We really enjoyed the feel of the old world charm that was encased in the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. The room was a little smaller, but it was still very cozy. The decor was very nice as well. The only thing that […] we found a little weird was the commercial-like toilet that you would find in a stadium/school. At night, we realize that there was a Brewer/Cardinal game along with the Bucks game, but other residents were quite loud. The door could have been sealed a little better or the ice machine volume could have been turned down a little bit. The bed and pillows were a little lacking as well. When we got ready for bed, we pulled back the comforter and sheets and as we crawled into bed, a staple that was in the sheets poked through and stuck my girlfriend in the thumb. That was by far the biggest disappointment of our stay. Outside of that, loved the feel of the hotel and the location. Mehr

My husband, son and I decided to take a little spring-break getaway with our 5 month old Boston Terrier. I saw that the Milwaukee Hilton was dog-friendly, was running a special rate, and booked the room. Much to my surprise, there was a $50 pet fee, AND a $24 parking fee - there went the great savings we incurred! Otherwise, it was a beautiful, grand, […] old hotel in absolutely perfect condition. We did vist the Miller Time Pub, and used the fitness room which was awesome! Huge, lots of equipment, and all brand-new. The location couldn't be better - right by the River Walk with many restuarants, bars, etc. to visit. I would definetely stay there again, but this time leave my dog at home and save $50 :) Mehr

When we went to check in early, it was not a problem...then the 1st room they gave us was not even the same room I reserved on-line...The staff more than made up for the mistake...we received an upgrade to a suite with a 2nd adjoining room. The 9th floor is under a remodel, so walking thru the workers was awkward but they were never noisy or rude. Had […] a great stay in Milwaukee, we will def stay again! Mehr

We love staying at this hotel. Great location, great bar and we also love having breakfast there.

We were in town for a Marquette basketball game and an Admirals hockey game. The hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from the Bradley Center, and there are some good bars and restaurants nearby as well. We had booked a queen room, and when we got there, they upgraded us to a king. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful, and the doorman […] was even very nice, wishing us a good day as we headed out. My only complaint was that housekeeping started working down the hall around 7:30am, slamming and banging doors and stuff, and it woke me up earlier than I would have liked! Mehr

The hotel was beautiful but the full size beds for adults was hardly worth it. Plus, the pillows were completely flat and the mattresses were way too soft.

The hotel was beautiful as was the room. Next door they were having a birthday party and walls seemed very thin, thought they were in the room with us! Room was comfortable but the bed was not and we could not get the room cool enough. Water park was amazing!

Went with my 4 yr. old for our birthday (same day!) and had a great time in this fancy old hotel. Two blocks from train station, great waterpark geared for 10 and under, rooms updated since our last stay years ago, had a really good draft beer and an incredible burger at the hotel while my daughter fell asleep on my lap at the bar, when they heard it […] was her special day our cafe waitress sent up a birthday basket to our room after brkfast. Hung out at Betty Brinn Childrens Museum for rest of day after getting a 12:30 checkout time. Will def be goin again next year. Mehr

My stay at the Hilton was like having an entire team of people there to catch me each time I tripped up: I was late for a pre-paid dinner Friday night: a very kind lady staffer escorted me to the large dining room, went in back and found a plate for me, then wrapped it to go so I would not miss the opening keynote address. When I stuck my head into […] the Chophouse just after closing time in search of some decaf coffee to sip while relaxing. . . I was served up a fresh pot, french pressed, with a smile and a wish that I have pleasant dreams. I mentioned I was wondering if room service would send up some fresh fruit, and a box of berries and melon materialized at my place, gratis. The view from my room (801) was spectacular, looking toward the lake and providing gorgeous sunrises against the Milwaukee skyline. The only glitch was that room service missed my hang tag requesting breakfast two mornings in a row. When I called to see if breakfast could still be delivered before I had to be at the first round of conference meetings, I was told it would be there in 15 minutes, It was, with apologies and no charge, since it was their error. The hotel was only a few blocks from the Museum of Natural History, which was showing the Cleopatra exhibit, the Library, a number of excellent bars, eateries, and tourist attractions. When I was checking out, the bellman helped me weigh my luggage - 3 times! - as I sorted and repacked to get under the ($*%&% 50 pound weight limit. We succeeded; would that airlines were so accommodating!! If plans require my staying in Milwaukee overnight again, I will definitely look here first for a room. THE HOTEL IS AT A GOOD LOCATION¡¡¡,,HAVING A LIVE COCKROACH AT THE BATHROOM IS NOT WHAT WE EXPECT FROM A HILTON. WE DID NOT FEEL IT WAS A CLEAN HOTEL,,,WILL NEVER STAY THERE ANYMORE,,,,MAKES HILTON LOOKS OLD AND DIRTY.

I liked the staff and their food was really delicious. I expected more of the condition of my room because the furniture was in some disrepair. I had to call the maintenance staff to close a bolted window that had been forced open. I was also not impressed that every morning over the weekend there was garbage around the main entrance allowed to gather […] from small groups that congregated there the night before. This happened each weekend night and sunday night as well. Generally the hotel was lack luster at best and i wished I had stayed at the hotel down the street : / Mehr

The first room they put us in had a heavy smoke smell and they were very quick to put us in another room. The rooms are nice but the bathrooms are very small with no fan. Friendly front desk personnel and parking lot attendant! The best thing about our room was the fabulous down pillows - they were so comfortable that I am going to purchase some for […] myself!! Mehr

Hotel is old but well kept. Price from Hotels,com was lower than Hotel price even with convention discount (good job). It is outrageous that they charge for internet!! Hotel staff is excellent.

nice hotel close to all attractions and nite life, short bus ride to brewers stadium close to riverwalk and boat rides good bar in hotel room was very nice, come here every year. reccomended

Booked Hotel well in advance of our stay. Had three people staying in the room so we booked two double beds. Called in advance to let hotel know we would be checking in late in the evening. Arrived to find that the hotel sold all their doubles and put us in a room with just a queen bed. They sent up a cot to accomodate the three people but the room […] was the size of a closet to I had to move the desk just so we could fit the cot in the room. Mehr

In town for a couple of days for a UFC event. Hotel was great a lot of the fighters were staying there too! I managed to leave my glasses and medication in the Hotel room. The gentlemen at the security desk told me that he would tear the room apart until he found my items. He then had them shipped back to me. He was a lifesaver and I greatley appreciate […] it! Mehr

It is an older property, but has been nicely renovated. The service was good and the kids loved room service. I switched our reservation as a result of Paradise Landing, the indoor water park. It needs some work - the showers weren't working in that area so we couldn't shower there and many of the arcade games were broken. This is a huge hotel and the indoor water park was really cool. Staff was great so was the Bellman. The only problem was having to pay for parking. I received a good rate but wasn't aware of having to pay 20 a day for parking. However this a lot across from the main entrance that is alot inexpensive for parking. Overall very nice hotel!

I loved the room and especially the pillows however I was appauled at the fact that we had to pay $25 to park there. I live in Chicago and the most expensive hotel here doesn't even charge to have their guests park there. Especially because there is no where to park in front of the hotel. I believe that you should not charge the guests to park there […] which can be EASILY monitored because you have the hotel key swipe device in the parking garage. If they dont have a hotel key, they can pay. Mehr
