Wir waren schon zum 2.ten mal in diesem Hotel. Vor 2 Jahren das letzte mal. Diesmal waren es 5 Nächte. Die Lage ist ideal. In 5min. ist man am Strand von Neptune Beach, in 10min am JAX-Beach. Hier ist immer etwa los. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten aller Art sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und steht immer mit Tips zur Verfügung. Das Hotel hat weiterhin einen schönen Pool hinter dem Haus.

Dieses Hotel hält den Vergleich mit europäischen Hotels der Spitzenklasse zu jeder Zeit stand. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das stets freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Die hervorragende Lage, direkt am feinsandigen Sandstrand, der zu langen Wanderungen einlädt. Und gleichzeitig einen Pool zum gepflegten faulenzen. Ein Restaurant das höchsten Ansprüchen gerecht wird. Da unsere Tochter in Jacksonville lebt konnten wir von hier aus viele Touren starten( St. Augustin, Amelia Eiland, Ichitucknee und natürlich shoppen)

Wir haben uns im Juni 2010 für dieses Hotel als Ausgangspunkt für unsere Ausflüge nach St. Augustine, Jacksonville Beaches, Downtown Jacksonville und zum Shoppen entschieden. Es handelte sich dabei um keine überlaufene Bettenburg und war trotz der direkten Lage zur Highwayausfahrt ruhig gelegen. Das kont. Frühstück fiel nicht so 'trocken' aus wie man es aus anderen Hotels kennt, sondern wurde um Rührei bzw. fertige Omletts ergänzt. Der Pool hat einen sauberen und ordentlichen Eindruck hinterlassen. Das Parkplatzangebot war ausreichend und das kostenlose WLAN stand schnell und unterbrechungsfrei im ganzen Hotel zur Verfügung. Gemessen an dem aktuellen Preis war das HI-Express ein Schnäppchen für das wir uns wieder entscheiden würden.
Lage
Dieses Hotel ist auf Familien mit Kindern bestens eingestellt. Omni Jacksonville Hotel liegt mitten in Jacksonville. Folgende Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar: Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Jacksonville Landing und Jacksonville Museum of Modern Art. Alexander Brest Planetarium und Friendship Park befinden sich ebenfalls in der Nähe.

The hotel was very nice and everyone was pleasant and enjoyable. Will definitely be back.
My daughter and I combined business with pleasure. It was located near both our business appt and our choice of restaurant for dinner. Breakfast at the hotel was a disappointment for one of us but when I told the waitress she promptly told the chef, got the manager, he apologized, offered something else and took my meal off my check. no onsite salon or shuttle service available to one.The tub was moldy. Most restraunt offer free continental breakfast I spend 50.00 for 4 omlets, bacon and coffee. Outragous! The front desk was very nice as was the valet.
"Overnight stay for FL Theater"
Nice hotel. I've stayed here before for business. If you have an event on the waterfront or nearby FL Theater, it's a great place to stay. Walking distance to theater. Very clean rooms. "Jacksonville Omni-nearby music hall, bars/rests"
We chose the Omni because it was local to the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra where we had tickets for a show. The Jax Landings was an added attraction being walking distance. (Sushi excellent! Mexican awful!!) The musician performing must also have found it convenient, for after the show, when we ducked into the hotel bar for one last drink before […] turning in, he was there in the bar with some members of the orchestra, apparently also staying the night. Reserved two rooms and the staff provided rooms close to each other... It was rainy and the front desk provided courtesy umbrellas... A great stay at the Jax Omni!

Too few service staff. Phone didn't work. Wireless network signal was too faint to be of use (and too difficult to connect to.) No coffee pot in room. No ice in ice machine. No convenient vending. Expensive parking. When you book through Hotels.com even to extend your visit, have to rebook through hotels.com, check out and then back in. "OMNI in Jacksonville"
This was a great, clean, beautiful hotel. I would stay there again, the only thing wrong was the checkout is 12pm and if you're looking to sleep in past 8:30 don't plan on it. The walls are paper thin and it felt as though the cleaning staff was in our room talking when they were 3 doors down. Overall, the hotel and staff was great; very friendly, professional […] & clean. But the noise was too much for us. Also, to cleaning staff slams the doors of each room they are cleaning over & over again. The banging was quite irritating. Mehr

"Omni Downtown Hotel in Jacksonville"
Fancy big hotel but lacks some basics - only one side of the bed has a light. Bathroom lacks an exhaust fan.You are charged extra for wireless. valet parking also ups the bill. By the time this is all added up, it is not a bargain! If you have to stay downtown for business, maybe I would stay here again. Otherwise, no.

The room was clean and the majority of the staff was great. The only problem we had was in the morning trying to get coffee without breakfast - the service was slow and rude.

"Nearly perfect"
Wonderful location for spending New Years Eve in Jacksonville! The only down side about this particular hotel was a charge for parking and if I wanted to check my e-mail in their business center there would be another charge. Other than that, it was wonderful.

I wanted a hotel close to the Landing shopping and dining area as well as close to the NFL stadium. The Omni was perfect. Clean, courteous staff, helpful staff, and the room was very comfortable.

We came for the MNF game. It was great. We parked and never used the car again til we left. Walkded to dining, shopping, and museum and took a water taxi to the game. Kids met some of the Jags players in the lobby too.

This hotel was great. From the moment we arrived our experience was great. the valet explained the parking options clearly. The front desk greeted us like friends and after hearing our plans gave us some good suggestions for our free time. The rooms are clean and inviting. The beds were very comfortable. The room service was quick, and delicious. The […] hotel even provided warm chocolate chip cookies as a bed time snack. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. My son and I will stay again. "Omni Jacksonville - gluten free paradise"
Highly recommended. Everything about our stay was first class. The staff were enormously helpful. My wife is a coeliac, and has to have gluten free food. We were delighted that there is a full gluten free menu for breakfast. Quite unique in our experience of staying in hotels and B&Bs all over the world was the provision of a toaster specially for gluten […] free breads. We found that the head chef is on a gluten free diet too, so he really does understand needs of guests with dietary requirements. The dinner in the hotel was very good too. Mehr
