Sehr schönes Hotel. Lage ist top. Wenige Minuten bis Union Square, Cable Car und der traditionellen Straßenbahnlinie, die bis Fishermen's Wharf geht. Dadurch auch super Anbindung mit BART vom Flughafen zum Hotel. Die Angestellten waren stets freundlich und hilfsbereit, was zu einem sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt geführt hat. Alles in allem ein tolles Hotel, das defintiv beim nächsten Aufenthalt in der engeren Auswahl ist.

Das Hotel liegt in sehr guter Nähe zu zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten, insbesondere Chinatown mit seinen zahllosen, zum Teil sehr guten Restaurants. Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Gute Umgebung. Zimmer vermutlich alle etwas unterschiedlich, Möbel teilweise auch älter, aber schön und zweckmäßig. Ganz ausgezeichnete Betten. Bad klein, Waschbecken im Zimmer, wird aber sicher von Zimmer zu Zimmer variieren. Minibar ok und nicht übertrieben teuer. Straßenlärm hielt sich in Grenzen, bei offenem Fenster […] sind aber vermutlich Ohrstöpsel angesagt (trifft sicher auf alle Hotels hier zu). Liked this hotel very much - perfect location to all san francisco areas by foot plus all buses and trains around the corner. good coffee and tee for free in the morning in the lobby was very enjoyable, hope this place will still be as nice when i come back next time ;-)

"Gute Bewertung gerechtfertigt"
Die Lage und das Design des Hotels haben uns besonders überzeugt. Geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, bequeme Betten, saubere Zimmer mit Einbauschrank für ausreichend Stauraum. Im angegliederten Restaurant "Midi" haben wir einmal gefrühstückt, das war wirklich gut, nur die Klimaanlage war noch kälter eingestellt als in anderen Lokalitäten üblich. Unser […] Rückflug erforderte die Abreise vom Hotel morgens um 04.30 Uhr, für die Fahrt zum Flughafen wurde uns ein Shuttleservice angeboten und organisiert, der günstiger war als ein Taxi. "Gutes Hotel mit einem Haken!"
Hotel ist im Eingangsbereich sehr schön. Leider fallen die Zimmer dann doch deutlich ab. Der Eigentliche Haken ist aber die vollkommen überzogene Parkgebühr von über 40 Dollar pro Tag!!!!! Also das Auto immer wo anders abstellten. Selbat in Parkhäusern am Fishermans Warf kostet der Tag nur 15 Dollar!
"Businesshotel auch für Privatreise"
Wir haben hier im Rahmen einer Kalifornien-Rundreise 2 Nächte gebucht. Unser Deluxe-Doppelzimmer lag zur Straßenseite Sutterstreet. Leichte Straßengeräusche sind durch die Fenster zu hören, aber es war nicht so störend. Man konnte gut schlafen. Irgendwie ist es auch ganz schön, nicht in absoluter Stille zu wohnen, sondern auch mal ein Hupen zu hören. […] Das Zimmer war super eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Bad hatte eine Wanne und ein kleines Fenster zum Hof. Hier kann man auch gut ein Vollbad nehmen, was wir nach einem anstrengendem Sightseeing-Tag auch gemacht haben. Internet-Benutzung ist kostenfrei, es gibt ein extra Business-Center mit 2-3 Computern und Drucker. Ansonsten ist der Empfangsbereich und das Hotel eher modern eingerichtet, wirkt etwas kühl. Auch die Angestellten machen ihren Job sehr gut, aber es fehlt vielleicht etwas Herzlichkeit. Ansonsten haben wir uns aber rundum wohl gefühlt. Wir würden das Hotel für einen Business-Besuch oder Geschäftsreise uneingeschränt empfehlen, für eine private Reise hat ein bisschen die Gemütlichkeit und Herzlichkeit gefehlt. Mehr

"Super Hotel"
Super Hotel! Sauber und ruhig. Sehr nahe bei Chinatown und Union Square. Zu Fuss kann man alles super erreichen. Das Personal im Hotel war sehr freundlich und der Shared Van für den Transport von und zum Flughafen ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, das Personal ist super freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Es wird alles unternommen um behilflich zu sein. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 4 OG. Die Zimmer sind Ok dem Alter des Hauses entsprechen aber Sauber und bequem. Leider sind die Fenster nicht nicht sehr Schalldicht und obwohl wir ein Zimmer zum seitenhof hatten war zu viel zu hören, […] mann gewöhnt sich daran. Hotel in Super Lage - Sehr schönes Zimmer, wenn auch fast etwas knapp bemessen um aus zwei koffern zu leben. da man sowieso nur zum schlafen im zimmer ist, macht das nichts. Hatten Zimmer zum Innenhof und konnten so auch keinen lärm von draußen wahrnehmen. Modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Freundliches Personal. Restaurant hatte wegen umbauarbeiten […] geschlossen. es befinden sich aber zahlreiche möglichkeiten im umkreis von ca 10 gehminuten.. auch einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in der nähe genug. macy's am union square und diverse designerläden sind auch in der nachbarschaft. "Sensationell!"
Das Gallery Park Hotel liegt ums Eck von Union Square und Eingang Chinatown. Die Zimmer sind nicht riesig, aber für Stadthotel okay. Internet kostet pro 24 Stunden, aber nicht unverschämt teuer (10 dollar). Das Hotel dürfte relativ neu renoviert sein. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 7. Stock in den Hof. War sehr ruhig. Würden jederzeit wieder dort wohnen.
"Great location, clean & modern, but noisy"
The Galleria Park Hotel is in an awesome location -- very central, a bus stop on the corner, a BART station about a block away, and a Walgreens nearby for last minute needs. Plus, a Jamba Juice next door and a nice coffee shop (Bread & Cocoa) downstairs for quick, yummy breakfast. Quick bus rides to Chinatown, North Beach, Fisherman's Wharf, etc., BART […] ride to Mission District. Plus if you want to explore the city on foot more, you could walk to plenty of places within a mile. My only complaints would be: you're facing a major street, so there's a good amount of street noise. If you're a light sleeper, this might be too much for you. The front desk staff is fine, but not super friendly. And the room was a little small, mostly because of the big furniture crammed in a tight space. But overall, the hotel is clean, modern, well-kept. You'll be comfortable here, as long as you can deal with the outside noise. On the 5th floor, it wasn't too bad, but I'd imagine if you're on a lower floor, it could be pretty loud. Mehr

"Galleria Park San Francisco"
This hotel is in an older building but very nicely refurbished. The rooms are very quiet despite the noisy neighborhood. The outdoor walking track and park is a nice addition, as is the small exercise room. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the Montgomery St. BART station, making it very convenient from the airport.

I never bother writing reviews normally but I felt the need to tell others not to underestimate this great hotel. I was in SF on business and for a show at the Moscone so I initially wanted to get one of the hotels closer by and for a higher star rating. However after reading the reviews i decided to give this one a go. I am very glad i did! The hotel […] is a 6 minute walk from the Moscone Centre and is a 5 minute walk from Union Square. It is really well located for a trip round SF. I stayed on the 7th floor and my room was large, clean and had all the things i would look for in a good quality hotel. The only thing that lets the rooms down are the bathrooms but this is an older hotel so it has to be expected. The staff are friendly and really helpful and i have to say that i was really impressed with this hotel which does not happen a lot. I stay in a lot of 5* hotels and you tend to miss the little things. This place was perfect and at a good price, so go there and enjoy! Mehr
"Excelent location"
The hotel is very good, with an outstanding location. The staff is really kind and helpful. The room was clean and was spacious. The only pitfall is the heating in the room. It's and old system, with the radiator. During the night you have to choose between be warm or hear the noise of the steam being purged. Anyway, the bottom line is positive.

The hotel was eh. The rooms were average, the bathroom small, location decent. A few blocks from Union square, and Powell street. The service was the highlight, as well as our dog being able to stay with us with no extra charge.. YAY! There was a little courtyard for the dog, however you have to leave your dog on leash because there's staircases that […] go to street level. Would I go back, yes but only if I had my dog with me. Other than that we would try somewhere else. The robe in the room felt like it was used and not fresh... kinda gross. So this is a boutique hotel which i guess in sf translates to old and small. I learned something from this trip though about selecting a hotel. If there are very few online pics - there is probably a reason for it! All the other reviews spoke about the really great staff. I didnt think any of the staff was friendly, especially the valet (who made […] a huge deal about me leaving my rental in front for 10mins to run upstairs and change clothes). The room i booked was supposed to be a queen bed. I actually spoke to two front desk people that assured me it was. It definitely was NOT! They then told me it was a standard queen and there is such a thing as a california queen which is what they said i was probably use to. LOL .... ok! The room was very cramped, bathroom had wasted space, heater very noisy with the hot water popping out of a spout, VERY lousy housekeeping (didnt pick up some wrappers on floor or refill the sugar/creamer packets). I stayed 11 consecutive days and can NOT recommend this hotel. Mehr

This is a very nice, well-located hotel with air conditioning. The staff was very kind and accommodating. We enjoyed a delicious chardonnay at the complimentary wine time in the pretty lobby area. My only complaint is the bathroom where there is a pedestal sink - women need counter space for cosmetics and everyone needs space for toothbrush, toothpaste, […] water glass, whatever. Our recent stay in the Galleria Park Hotel was quite enjoyable! The hotel is charming. The service is excellent. The location is convenient. We had easy, walking access to Union Square and Chinatown and quick taxi rides to the piers and Golden Gate Bridge. We would readily choose this hotel again and would recommend it to others.

The hotel is really nice and cosy, which is quite a surprise for a hotel that is right smack in the city centre, and near to many shops, restaurants and the Montgomery BART station. During check-in, the reception staff Zach was really excellent considering there was a whole bunch of people arriving at about same time in the early evening, and he was […] only person at the counter. The hotel serves complimentary coffee and tea in the morning, and drinks in the early evening which was really nice. GPH is perfectly located a couple blocks off Union Square - not smack in the middle of crazy traffic, but so close you're there before you know it. It is a short walk from BART & Market St. and near Ferry Building and Embarcadero. It feels safe to walk around area at night and there are usually helpful doormen there to hail a cab or greet and welcome […] you back. The cafe on the corner, Bread & Cocoa, is a nice place to grab breakfast, coffee, a snack... whatever you need. Couldn't really ask for more in SF. We booked a King Deluxe room to ensure we had plenty of space. The first room they checked us into was an interior and felt claustrophobic so I rang the front desk and asked about other options - they offered an exterior room without any fuss and sent up a key right away. Very professional and courteous all around. The only thing that held this back from 5 stars for us was that housekeeping missed coming in on Saturday even though we were gone most of the day. The room was very small and the bathroom was so tiny, there was no shelf space for electric razor, electric toothebrush et al. The king size bed was very comfortable and clean with plenty of pillows. Every employee I interacted with was warm, friendly, and helpful. While the hotel is in a great spot, has a beautiful lobby and comfortble rooms- the employees REALLY stand out. The gym is very small and not user-friendly, but the 24 Hour fitness right around the corner is easy and convenient.

"Beautiful hotel you can't sleep in"
In San Francisco again for business, I was thrilled when I pulled up to the hotel. The location was fantastic and I'd be within walking distance of both my meetings and great restaurants. The staff was wonderful, the lobby was gorgeous, and the wine reception by the fireplace was a nice touch. Little did I know that I should have guzzled the wine in […] order to sleep because the beds were simple incompatible with sleep. I lay on the first one and my honest reaction, no exaggeration, was that by mistake someone had put some sort of display in my room...a wooden box with sheets meant to photograph the layout or something. Unfortunately, a move to bed number 2 told me that alas, the beds were simply the hardest, lowest quality beds I've ever slept in. After a sleepless night, I awoke with a sore back (and I'm in good shape in my early 30s without any problems usually) and confirmation from my coworker that his experience was the same. It was so bad, I decided to forgo my second night and take the red-eye home. I NEVER take red-eyes, but I figured if I'm not going to sleep at all, I might as well not sleep at all while on my way home early. Mehr

Good location and wonderful staff. They even upgraded us for our anniversary. The only fault I have is that the bathrooms are very outdated. The small shower was adequate but for a junior suite, I would have expected a tub or at least a larger shower and new tile. I spend a lot of time in San Francisco on business and this is my favorite hotel. Convenient, quiet, great service and fantastic value. Evening wine receptions are nice. I've stayed at pricier places that were noisy and lacked the great service of this place.

"Nice for the price"
For the price I paid, this was a very great place to stay. Its close to everything shopping eating and the subway. Rooms were very clean and for San Fran Standards, decent size. Cant ask for much more.

This is a charming, updated boutique hotel. The location near Union Square was convenient to our needs. The staff was very helpful. Morning coffee and evening wine receptions were nice touches. We loved the rooftop terrace. Our room was small but comfortable. We were very satisfied.

In the centre of town away from the tourist traps but brilliantly located to get to see everything you need with BART, bus and trams all near by. This is a great boutique hotel with some unique features. The staff were friendly and helpful and the guest meeting for a free glass of wine or 2 each evening was inspired
