Bouncer at hotel bar would not let my wife in the bar becuase he said her resident card (green card) was not a valid form of ID. When asked to speak to a manager he said the manager already made the decision and refused to get the manager to talk personally. Simply awful rooms, the place is a dump. Bugs in the room, broken furniture, old and lumpy mattresses, there was a sports bar/restaurant but there was not a no-smoking area. The lobby smelled like a dead animal and it was nasty.

Staff was very kind. Room was very adequate, but the best things were the very nice heated pool and the continental breakfast. Caution: get to the breakfast 1/2 hour before advertised closing. There is no time leeway.and it is well worth going.

The room was freezing when I entered it. I ran the heater for 45 minutes and it was still freezing. They came in and looked at it and cleaned the filters, but it still wasn't warm. I let it run for 5 hours while I was out and when I returned, it was semi warm. Other than that, it was ok.

There is a restaurant on site.....if you have children under 21 you won't be able to eat there due to the smoking regulations. We had to look elsewhere to eat. We were unaware that it was a smoking facility. It also caters to wedding/banquets. We were stuck on a floor that had all drunks trying to get into our room and very loud in the hallways till […] after 4am. It's not a bad hotel.....but it wasn't a good choice if you have small children with you. The hotel rooms do look older....but they are clean and don't have that musty old smell like most of them do. Very friendly checking in.....very helpful. Even the waitress was helpful on giving us directions to a different restaurant as we were not able to eat there..... Mehr

The housekeeping staff was not friendly. We did not want service but asked for soap and shampoo.They only gave one small soap and one small shampoo (for two). Then the next day we asked for no service but clean towels and we didn't get them . We had to call the front desk and they came right up with the clean towels. When I talked to the housekeeper […] she was not very nice. The room was clean and tidy when we got there. The guest in the next room was loud and fighting.I was woke up at 4:30 a.m. with them banging on the door and windows. The front desk was very helpful and nice to deal with. I wish that they has a microwave oven that guest could use. Seeing how they do not have a dining room. We could have bought some food and warmed it up in the microwave. Or we had some pizza that we had left over, They could put the microwave in the room with the snack machines , so that everyone can use it. Mehr

The hotel was nice, however it was set up weirdly. I had to walk a long distance from my room to find the vending and ice machines, and then it was only a food vending machine. I had to walk even farther for the beverages vending machine.

the ac wasnt working correctly. the faucet for the jacuzzi ran very slowly and made horrible noises. the inside of the bathroom door looked like it was broken and chipped at the bottom.. there was rust behind the toilet paper holder. the chair around the table were beat up pretty bad

Stayed here with my daughter-in-law and grandson. We had two rooms on the second floor. Rooms were neat and adequate, with very little noise. Found the indoor pool to be a bit on the cool side, so we did not use the pool much. Stayed at this hotel since it was fairly close to the Grove City Outlets, and rates were good.

Comfortable in room..disappointed that bar/restaurant was exempt from No Smoking regulations given that the majority of guests were truckers or in construction this made the facilities unusable due to the level of smoke. Nice pool but please note the hot tub on the pictures of hotel is no longer there.

The hotel is old and in a sketchy area of town. The beds are terribly uncomfortable. The pool was decent and clean.

The hotel was fine for the occassion that we were attending. We were not in the hotel that much so the amenities were not as important this time. It was comfortable and somewhat convenient to the school with which we were visiting.

The AC was either off or on. The fan/vibration was deafening; it was hard to sleep/chat with it on, but it was too hot with it off. The stay was very disappointing. The entire hotel smelled like a dirty ashtray. The hotel was very dated. the pool area did not have the hot tub that was listed. I stayed more than than one night and if they have not already been paid in advance I would certainly have left. The room was not cleaned each day and I had to go to the front desk to even […] ask for more towels and to tell them the room was not cleaned during the day. Our family stayed in 2 rooms through Easter weekend, and each of us experienced positives and negatives: Most of the staff were pleasant (two front desk staff and all the maids), but a couple of the staff were rude (one evening front desk male and one woman replenishing the continental breakfast). The rooms were themselves technically clean, but as […] only smoking rooms were available at the time I booked, the smoke residue from prior guests was overpowering at times. I also experienced a minor amount of bedbugs the first night, but had no problems the second and third nights, and my other family members in the other room didn't have any problems. The rooms were mostly comfortable (pillows great, mattress so-so), but noise from neighbors and hallway chatter made sleep difficult at times. My room's fan/air-conditioning worked well but the other room's was intermittent. The indoor pool was closed for maintenance the whole weekend, upsetting the younger folks in our group. The continental breakfast food was very good, actually, but very inconveniently located and, as mentioned, the only kitchen staffmember we encountered was inexplicably rude to one of our family (we didn't bring it to the manager's attention though). Parking was plentiful with several accessible doors in each wing, however navigating around the check-in area proved somewhat dangerous - there was barely enough space for a car to go around a parked car checking in. Overall, I can't recommend this hotel to others until it is fully non-smoking, better soundproofed, and there is better consistency in customer service and cleanliness. Mehr

We chose this hotel because of a previous experience and ended up being very dissatisfied. The pool and jacuzzi were out of order with no inclination of apology or an idea of when it would be working again. There were people and young kids screaming upand down the halls all night long. Stayed one night at the days inn in butler. The room appeared to be clean, but when I went to take a shower I discovered the bar of soap was used and had someones pube stuck on it.....how clean was that room? Also, I requested a non smoking room, and while my room had a sign threatening a hefty fine if you smoked, EVERY room around me must have been […] smoking, the halls reeked, you could not only smell the smoke in my room, you could see it in the air in the hallways. This was by far the WORST Hotel I have ever stayed at. I asked for a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room. If you don't have a non-smoking room, then say so in the listing. The room I stayed in was also above the bar of the hotel and didnt get any sleep until 2:30 am. I called down to the front desk and asked if my room was above the bar and […] all I got was yes and its open til 2am then it will be quiet. Well how observant of you genius!! I had no idea that it would be quiet then!!! I will tell all my friends to stay anywhere but a Days Inn. The nicest room within my room was the bathroom, how sad is that? We booked this room because my high school reunion was there. They put us in a room directly over where a live band was playing and we ended up moving to another room after midnight because we could not sleep because of the noise. We stayed with two other couples at the Inn and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good but the room it is in doubles as the bar. That made it a bit gloomy but otherwise everything was fine. At check in, the ego of the employee was a bit much but aside from him, I'd recommend the hotel to anyone passing Butler.

This is a larger size hotel (motel). My most important desires were met nicely. Clean room, very comfy bed, ice cold air conditioning and a huge friendly sports bar with pool tables, darts and a great choice of good food. There was a sizable crowd even on a tuesday night! While the hotel itself looks very pleasant, I was disappointed to find that there was not a fridge in the room. As we were there for 2 nights, we wanted to be able to keep drinks cold but were unable to do so. There is a bar in the club that plays music but it was so loud, we could hear it in our room. The first morning, we used the regular coffee and when we came back that afternoon, 1 of our 2 ashtrays were gone and they did not bother to refill the coffee. For the price we paid our stay was satisfactory. The first night there was no hot water, the water had a weird smell and the room key card didn't work. Other than that the room was clean and our stay was satisfactory.

We enjoyed a quiet night in Butler after spending the whole day driving to and shopping at Grove City Outlets. It was a little bit of a drive to the hotel from Grove City, about 40 mins. But the hotel was easy to find and was nice and quiet which is what we wanted. There was a wedding reception at the hotel when we got there but being a fairly big hotel […] we didn't notice anything during the stay. We asked for directions to a walmart and somewhere to eat and the woman at the desk was very helpful and directed us to the right spot. Check out the following morning was easy since we had already paid for the hotel so all we had to do was to return the keys and off we went. Breakfast was standard and was being served in the bar - that might be the only complaint I have. It smelled like stale smoke. But overall a very nice stay!! Mehr
