Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfreich. Das Zimmer war sauber mit extra abgetrennten Bad und Duschmöglichkeit in der Wanne. Die Übernachtung war inkl. Frühstück. Entgegen vorheriger Bewertungen war es ausgiebig. Man konnte wählen zwischen, Muffin, Beagles, Toast mit Toaster, Waffeln zum selber machen, Obstauswahl, genügent Aufstrich wie versch. Marmeladen und Sirup, zwei versch. Kaffesorten (normal und entkoffeniert) und Saft aus dem Automaten. Alles als free refill. Wer eine Stadtrundfahrt machen möchte kann sich an der Rezeption melden. Von dort kann eine Stadtrundfahrt mit Abholung vom Hotel organisert werden. Also besser geht es gr nicht. Ich kann nur jeden dieses Hotel empfehlen. Würde jederzeit sofort doert wieder übernachten. Volle Punktzahl. Einziger kleiner Abstrich ist die örtl. Umgebung. Auf den ersten Blick sieht die Umgebung etwas ungemütlich aus, aber wenn man daran denkt, das es nicht gerade die Innenstadt ist geht es in Ordnung. Ca. 5 Min Fußweg gibt es zwei Fastfood Restaurants und genau gegenüber ist ein großer (mexikanischer) Supermarkt. Alles in ereichbarer Nähe.

Ich war mit einem Bekannten für 7 Tage in dem Motel. Sehr netter Empfang. Absolut problemlos. Erster Eindruck wurde während des gesamten Aufenthaltes bestätigt. Frühstück mit frischen warmen Haferflocken, frisches Rührei, gekochte Eier, Waffeln zum selbstbacken, Müsli, Säfte, Obst, Kaffee, Tee, ... -kurzum, für amerikanische Motelverhältnisse absolut super und ausreichend. Das richtige für den Start in den Tag. Lage: ca. 15 Minuten Fussmarsch zum Venicebeach, 5 Minuten zum Hafen von Marina, 15 Minuten zum Harleyverleih am Lincoln- Boulevard, Tiefgaragenparkplätze kostenlos, Zimmer sauber und frisch renoviert -unseres zumindest- Personal immer freundlich, kleiner Pool und Spa zur Erfrischung/ Entspannung, Innenhof mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und Gaskamin, für uns jederzeit wieder 1. Wahl für L.A. Aufenthalte!!!!!!!!!

Gut ausgestattetes Hotel mit neu renovierten Zimmern. Dir Lage ist für alle Aktivitäten gut da 405 und PCH schnell und gut zu erreichen sind. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit

Das Hotel war sauber und der Service war auch gut. Praktisch war der 24- h Shuttle zum Flughafen. Als negativ empfanden wir, dass es sehr ringhörig war.

"not a good choice"
Bed old and too soft. Pillows were the worst ever. Some one was smoking on our floor. When I complained they said it would be handled, but we still could smell it the next day in the hall area by our room.

Any hotel these days associated with the Holiday Inn name, should at least have a refrigerator in the room.The worlds slowest lift is installed in this hotel. There is a Seven Eleven at the back of the hotel. However the neighborhood looks ?? and my wife did not dare go there alone.

"Pool not clean"
I booked the hotel because I was interested in going to the outdoor pool for some R&R but it was not cleaned and neither was the jacuzzi to my disappointment.

Breakfast is very good, hotel staff is friendly but no Bell Boys available. If you're looking for a 1 night hotel near LAX this is a good option. Price is very accesible. Elevator takes soo mnay time to reach any floor... slowest elevator ever!!

I was not happy with the hotel at all. They stated that the hotel had been remodeled, all they remodeled was the room with furniture. The carpet in the room was terrible and everything else about the hotel was old and run down. The walls were so thin you could hear people talking, etc. It was ridiculous. It was so noisy with people coming and going […] at all hours of the night, I didn't get any sleep. I travel for work all the time and haven't come across hotel this bad in a long time. Mehr

Nice hotel, clean room, however, the room was pretty small and no bath tub at all. Not the best neighborhood and the only convenient store is a 7 Eleven around the corner. Good breakfast in the morning. Overall, not a bad hotel at all.

"Utilitarian near the car rental lots"
Some interior elements are a bit worn, but this is a respectable place that will suit the utilitarian traveler. I selected it so that I would be able to readily drop my car and grab a shuttle to the terminals for a v. early flight. A couple rental companies are conveniently close by.

I was very satisfied with the Hotel. Cleanliness of the room and customer service. We arrived 3 hours early and they let us check in early. Continental breakfast was good and so was the attendant in the dinning room. The only thing complaint that I have is the noise of airplanes. But it's expected since its near the airport! I was blown away at how the nice and polite the staff was at this property. I checked in at 1:30pm, got a top floor room with two gift bags of bottled water and granola. I mentioned a refrigerator and they offered to bring one to the room. I declined it. Very accomodating. The room was very nice and clean. I stayed at the Fairmont Newport Beach last […] July and this room was much better! The bed wasn't as nice. It was still comfortable and we slept very well. The breakfast was yummy. Lots of options to choose from. I would suggest that they offer trays to take food back to the room. The dining room was nice and always packed. We like to eat in our room when possible. I liked this place so much, I've referred a close friend already and signed up for their loyalty program. This property is located near Inglewood. Many police cars and a helicopter with spotlight were driving/flying by friday night. We didn't feel unsafe at anytime. This was around dinner time, so we went to Santa Monica for dinner on the Pier! My rental car was from Hertz and it's located about 3 blocks down the street. This was a great weekend hotel. No charge for parking, free breakfast and not on top of the freeway = Very happy people! "Wait one hour for shuttle/no wake up call"
I had to wait one hour for the shuttle after calling twice. Then they forgot to set my wake up call. I only had 7 hour layover in LA and the hotel took away a chunk of precious sleep. Morning shuttle driver made no attempt to help with luggage boarding or dropping

Hotel is good for early flight schedule. No frills rooms or facilities just convenience and location. Surprisingly the 2nd elevator is still not working despite multiple comments over the past 3 months. I am wondering if management really cares about customer feedback.

I truly enjoyed my stay. I ALWASYS stay at the Embassy Suites LAX, but this time I tried the suite at the Holiday Inn Express. I was very pleased that I stayed an extra night. The only problem was only one elevator worked and parking can be crowded, however the staff, the room, comfort and location was AWESOME!!

There were only 2 elevators in the hotel and one was not working until the last day of my 4 day stay, so waiting for one elevator got to be a problem, front desk did not seem concerned when asked when it might be in operation again. Funny enough I read a review before I booked this hotel that said the same thing but I thought surely it would be repaired […] by the time I arrived. Breakfast was nice, consistant each day. Parking was a bit rough, not enough spaces had to park down the block one night late. All in all it was an ok experience but not at the top of my list. Mehr
