Wish I could have had the room cleaned during my stay.

Did not get what I booked at hotels.com, they did not have king size which is what was offered at hotel.com. Room and bed just average.

We stay here frequently and for the most part it's not a bad place to stay. Could use some updating. Normally we have no problem with the room but this time the coffee pot was dirty, their was no coffee or filters available. Thats about the only complaint.

The size of the room and the accommodations in general, were wonderful. However I would not stay at this hotel again because it was FILTHY. Really, quite a shame.

This is a nice place to stay for the price, but the location is a GPS disaster. It took an extra 2 hours to get to the place- the GPS was lost. Not good when you and the GPS don't know where you are going.

Was not informed that there will no housekeeping servcies daily and it would cost extra to have these services. Had to wait a while to register as employees were on the phone. Overall, it was an affordable place to stay with kitchen facilities. Staff were helpful when they were available.

Been here several times..great price, comfortable room. Just wish they had continental breakfast, otherwise a decent place to stay.

Hotel was very accomodating, and clean. Bed was comfortable, and room was good. Definately coming back for another visit soon.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Very clean friendly staff, nice room with decent ammenities. Reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

The woman working the front desk was sleeping when I arrived, granted it was late, but shouldn't be asleep on the job. The same woman was there upon check out and was very unpleasant to talk to. There was a stain on my sheets and the bed was not at all comfortable.

Great for what I needed ... an inexpensive alternative to downtown Chicago. I liked the kitchen and counter set up. Even though I didn't use the kitchen I did use the counter. I liked the privacy. I was not happy about not having any type of shampoo in the bathroom. I moved the recliner chair and found a large amount of old, stale food remnants under […] it. That chair may not have been moved or swept under for a long time. I was aware that there was no free wifi so I brought my Verizon access but that had poor reception. I didn't want to pay for the hotel's wifi. It would seem to me that they could bundle that in and not charge extra for that. Based upon my experience ... I may or may not stay at another Extended Stay hotel. It'll depend on what my other choices would be. Mehr

First off, we drove around for an hour looking for the place that our GPS told us to go. It dead ended at a park. We finally stopped and asked for directions and when we finally got to the place I said something about not being able to find it and the lady said "Oh yeah. We were taken off the GPS a while ago." That would have been nice to know since […] we were from out of town and did not know the area. We finally got to our room and it was very clean and I really liked the set up. We got settled and turned the tv on and had four channels. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone the next day. The next evening when we got back there we still did not have anymore channels. I really liked that the hallway and side door ways smelled clean. The side door entrance where you have to slide your card to enter was a little inconvenient being so far off to the side I about never found it. Mehr

Extended Stays are usually on the top of my list when I'm looking for a hotel. The size of the rooms, the convenience of having the kitchen and dining area, and enough room so you're not tripping over each other. They aren't big on amenities (e.g. you have to bring your own soap and shampoo) but I do that any way. The staff is there but not overbea […] ring. Mehr

My ratings are for the Quality Inn in Burr Ridge not the Extended Stay. When we arrived at the Exteneded Stay we were told that the hotel was overbooked by seven rooms and were asked if we would be willing to stay at the Quality Inn down the street, at no extra charge. Since we were only staying one night and wouldn't be spending much time at the hotel, […] we agreed and spent the night at the Qualtiy Inn. Room there was clean and adequate and breakfast was included. So all in all our short stay in Burr Ridge worked out fine. Mehr

This hotel was one of the worst I remember staying at. The room was dirty, the door barely closed and was almost broken, the main A/C didn't work so had to use a wall unit. You didn't really want to touch anything in the room. If I wasn't so tired I might have just left and driven somewhere else instead. We reserved 4 rooms with king beds and non-smoking 1 month prior to our visit. When we arrived we were given rooms with queen beds and some of us had to have smoking rooms. They said that was the best they could do. Very disappointing when you think you have one thing and get another - it's too late to do anything at that point. Stayed one day at this hotel. The check in clerk had an attitude. We booked a non-smoking room, but were told there were only smoking rooms available. Mentioned to clerk that Illinois is a "Smoke Free" state and no smoking should even be allowed indoors. That rule didn't apply to this hotel I guess..... Room was nasty. Hot and smelled like smoke of […] course. Blanket under the nasty comforter on the bed was stained brown and had holes in it. TV was from the 1990s. This was the BEST (most expensive) room in the hotel!!! After the Jimmy Buffett concert was over, we decided to drive an hour and a half home rather than stay in this mess. Checked out at midnight. Disappointed; made reservation months in advance for a non-smoking room only to be told at check-in that only smoking was available and that Hotels.com just assigned rooms without regard for preferences.

2nd time. 2 consecutive Friday nights. Another horrible experience. Checked in after work very late. Same person, not @ desk, sleeping in the back. Had to wait 20 minutes AGAIN. Then gave me a room key to a room with dirty towels on the floor. Dirty dishes in the sink. Dirty glasses on the table. Bed unmade and the room totally filthy!! I had to go […] back to the desk, wait another ten minutes for her to show up. She didn't even bother to look at the room or help me at all except to hand me another set of keys. The new room stunk to high heaven, had 2 lights out, the a/c didn't work and the tv remote didn't work. How the hell can this place stay in business? I would rather spend twice the money @ the Mariott for my weekly overnight stay. I WILL NEVER COME BACK! Mehr

I own a night club in the area and need to stay over at least once a week. I normally go to the Mariott. Now I know why! It took the clerk 20 minutes to get to the desk where I had to wait while dialing the desk phone (which she never answered) in order to get her attention. Then the key would not work. Her solution? Open the door and take the key with […] her saying "You're only here 1 night. You don't need a key." The room was clean but totally outdated, as was the entire facility. The outside building looked fine, but the inside was from the 70's -80's. Mehr

This hotel was conveniently located to the area I needed. I have stayed at extended stay hotels before and have been satisfied; however, the first night at this hotel was not a good experience. I had my reservations for a couple of weeks for a nonsmoking room for 7 nights at this hotel. When we arrived after a 14 hour drive, we were given a smoking […] room that smelled awful! It was around 7:30 pm and we just checked in and left for our plannned activity. Returning to the assigned room around 11 pm we found the room had a smokey odor. The kitchen floor was dirty and there was no microwave, stove hood with fan or light. I was very disappointed in this room after having reservations. The next day, I explained the room situation to a different hotel clerk. She was apologetic and changed our room to a nonsmoking room. The second room was satifactory. Mehr

The room was clean enough. The place was outdated....needing repairs & painted. The size of the room and the furnishings we adequate. The bed was hard....couldn't sleep because of it. The pillows were very fluffy though. It met our need for a quick overnight stay outside of the city. The clerk recommended a wonderful restaurant across the road for breakfast....that […] was the best part of the stay. Mehr

This Extended Stay was alot nicer then the last one that I had stayed at in Darien Illinois.

I enjoyed the stay tremendously. Its not the RITZ but for the price it was a pretty good hotel. The tv was tiny but other than that Ac'es! also there was a slight musty oder in the bathroom when I walked in but it dissapated quickly.

Quiet, clean room, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Excellent value for the money. Highly recommended.

TV and everything in working order. It was what I expected at a slightly lower rate than nearby hotels. Hotel rate lower than nearby places. Great place to sleep.

The only reason I stayed here is because the price was significantly cheap among other Chicagoland hotels. I checked in around midnight and the front desk staff looked like they had just got out of bed--hair messed up, looking unprofessional, etc. The hotel building itself is quite old and had a musty feeling to it. Very standard and cheap.

I did not like the fact that my room was not cleaned each day. I am not use to returning from an outing and bed not made, no clean towels, (had to got to the desk to get clean ones) garbage not emptied. It would have been a nice gesture if the towels were brought up to my room.

When we arrived the staff was very nice. When we got to our room it was a little less than expected. We went to put away all our things and one of the cabinets had a horrible odor. They only offer one set of dishes and pots and no soap to clean them with. We asked the lady if someone was going to come and switch out dishes or if we could get soap to […] clean and she said they didn't have any soap, but we could just bring the dishes down and she would give us new ones. She was very nice about it. Then she said that the cleaning lady only comes once a week to clean. We were only staying for 2 nights though. So that was a bummer. There's not much to do in that part of town unless you like shopping malls. It's about 30 minutes from Chicago. I guess it wasn't an ideal place for us. But since we don't mind driving it wasn't so bad. Also we tried to bring along our dvd player and there were no hookups for it. They do have Showtime and a few other cable channels. Not much to do in the room at all. Make sure to bring along something to keep you occupied. Cards, alcohol, etc. Mehr

The receptionist Lance was very helpful. Everyone was very accommodating. I have and continue to recommend this hotel.

Using the address from hotels.com landed us first in a closed vet office and then in the middle of nowhere. Instead, look up the step by step instructions from Extended Stay's website. This is hotel is off exit 276 on I 55, not 274!

The service was extremely polite and courteous. I was assisted in locating restaurants in the surrounding area. My only complaint was that the floors in my room seemed to not have been cleaned from a prior guest. The kitchenette area was very sticky. Also, the air conditioning had not been turned on and the room was very stuffy. The air conditioning […] unit did not seem to keep up with the heat outside. The hotel was a value for the price. Mehr

I needed a good clean room for one night. I love the little kitchen, had I stayed longer it would have allowed me to save more by not dining out. It is not a luxury hotel, but it served exactly it's purpose for what I needed.

We only stayed one night before our flight out from Midway Airport. The room was adequate and a good value for our needs. Very basic furnishings and finishes. Quiet location with free parking; convenient to the freeway.
