Embassy Suites Hotel Orlando-north - Altamonte Springs

Room was very quiet and dark for a restful sleep. Enjoyed having a full breakfast included, although the omelet was a bit of a disappointment (not as fluffy and tasty as have had).

The first night our sheets had makeup on them - the second night our toilet overflowed. There was construction going on so 2 of four elevators were down as well as the service elevator so the housekeepers and staff were using the only 2 available. The location was great! Neighborhood around the hotel is beautiful, clean and safe. Loved it and would stay again. Many nice restaurants nearby. Will stay here again when in Florida!

we had 2 rooms for a very special occasion at the Amway Ctr. Only about a 15min drive, wanted good Italian food, the front desk suggested Muranos 2 min from hotel. It was perfect, the best Chix Fettachini I have ever had. Food at the Embassy was also very good, omelets made to order and lots of other yummy stuff. Great weekend.

Rooms, bathrooms & eating area could use update & remodel. Indoor pool area great for kids/families.

We stayed at this hotel for our 15th anniversary and Newyears , everything was awesome we will definitely be back!!!

Shower leaked cold rusty water from fitting above during use and ventiltation system made a kick the can noise every 5 minutes in first room 503. Clerk provided a different room 511 upon complaint and left an apology note under door with 2nd room that had no issues. Breakfast was a mis-managed and un-organized mess. We Stayed for one night. Beauitful Hotel and the staff was great. I would recommend this hotel. Just a little hard to find behind the shopping center but well worth it.

Spent 2 nights at this beautiful location on a lake just a block off the freeway. It's on the opposite side of town from all the parks, but the freeway gets you there is about 15-20 minutes. The lake is beautiful, there is a mixed shopping/resturant area on 2 sides within easy walking distance Very friendly helpful staff. This facility is due for […] renovation starting 4Q2011/Q12012, which will eventually update all of the rooms. The rooms aren't in bad shape, but if yuo look very closely it my be getting time for a re-fresh. I'd stay at this ES again anytime. Mehr

My husband and I enjoyed this Hotel and it's surrounding stores. We walked and sat at the lake every day for hours listening to our music on his cell phone. Very romantic. We will visit this Hotel rebeatedly in the near future. Four days just wasn't long enough.

My biggest disappointment was that hotels.com was incorrect with the hotel's pet fee. My decision to stay at Embassy was based solely on the advertised pet deposit on hotels.com. When I arrived at the hotel, the fee was $30 more than what hotels.com advertised. Not cool. The hotel is also tricky to get into, and if you miss the entrance you're headed […] straight onto I-4. Near the malls and numerous restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. They also accept pets which is awesome and they are very accommodating. The free breakfast is to die for.

the inside atrium of the hotel is beautiful. it had many fountains and pounds with nice plants. it was open on the inside with balconies looking over the atrium. omaha steak house was awesome, one of the best steaks of my life. my only implant was the maids were knocking on door at 8 am to clean room and came back twice every thirty minutes

My spouse and I have stayed at this location once or twice per year for the last 2 or 3 years. It is nice to get away from the Disney area sometimes.

The only poor mark for the hotel were room furnishings. They were not comfortable. Especially the beds. Mattress' very lumpy and seemed old. When your primary goal is a place to sleep the bed is pretty important.

This is very a nice Hotel in the new Uptown Altamonte Springs area. The court yard is very pretty. Staff very friendly Breakfast was great both days

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, couteous helpful staff; would definitely go back. One downer is hotel restaurant (Omaha Steakhouse), leaves much to be desired; and everything else is a drive away.

Stayed at this hotel for University of Central Florida commencement and was very happy with our choice. Hotel offered all the amenities - including spacious rooms and room service - with easy access to UCF, shopping, restaurants, etc. The cooked to order breakfast was outstanding, with seating in an indoor garden-like atmosphere. This is our 2nd time staying here, and again had a great stay.

This hotel is in need of some updating. there were cigarett burns in the furniture, the sheets had little holes in them. Make sure you are put in the atrium section of the hotel. we spent one night in the "other"section right next to a very loud aircondition ing unit. the employees are very nice. Very difficult to find from the highway

Have stayed here about twice a year for the last 5 years. Always clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Nice amenities like 2 HD TV's in each suite along with complimentary happy hour and an amazing breakfast. Highly recommended for weekend gateaways, businees, family or pleasure.

The room was very nice and service was very good. the Hotel location was good too, only 15 minutes from Universal theme park. The wedding group was very small so you would think the food would have been a knock out, but main course when served to me was just warm and somewhat dry and tasteless. This hotel definitely lived up to Embassy Suites' reputation. At check-in, the lady at the front desk was extremely helpful. She ensured that all guests in the room were registered so that if they ever needed anything there would be no problems. She was friendly and she told us to contact her if there were any problems. When I got to my room there weren't […] enough towels and I called the front desk and they were there in less than five minutes. Service was excellent.The lobby area and the rooms were immaculate. I particulary enjoyed the Fitness Center as well as the Business Center. I wished there was wireless internet without a surcharge but that was pretty much the only negative. The breakfast buffet was delicious and there was a wide variety. If I am in the area again, I will definitely be staying there. Mehr

Nice hotel and location 20 min from Universal studio, would have been better if the wireless internet access was free

We reserved two queen sized beds, and had to take a king and a convertable couch. The hotel is tired. No wi-fi, and the maintenance was shotty. I could have stayed at a Hampton Inn and saved my self 50$.

Don't bother to book this Hotel unless you don't mind not sleeping well all night. There was a mechanical room or something above us which made noise all night long. We were on the 2nd floor. The Buffet breakfast was like hearding cows. The food was cold no where to sit. There was no direction at all. There are many other Hotels in area less pricey. […] I guess you don't aways get what you pay for. Mehr

Excellent location. Rooms are huge!

Nice hotel in a great location. There's a grocery, Starbucks, various restaurants, and a mall nearby. If you wish to take a walk, there's a nice walkway around a lake. If you're driving to check in, drive around the hotel, so that your car will be between the lake and the hotel. The main entrance of the hotel is not well-marked.

Had a great experience here. Surrounding area is very nice and safe, there's a brand new gym 100 yards from the back door, free breakfast, great freindly service. Only drawback is the rooms need a little updating to match the rest of the hotel.

OMG...Loved every moment stayed two nights didn’t want to leave. Breakfast, mmmmm…the exercise room, thank you, the décor of the hotel was very nice wished I had a camera…the beds, wow…I would recommend this hotel and would not want to stay anywhere else…I had a great time…

Right next to a lake with a walking trail.

It would have been straight 5's except the bathtub shower was not cleaned out properly so it backed up in the morning which was gross. Other than that it was good.

Our overall experience at this hotel was good. The exercize room & indoor pool were very nice. The rooms were a little musty.

The hotel is very nice inside. The people were friendly and helpful. The buffet style breakfast is fantastic. The rooms are very spacious, but need more attention than they are getting. Our room had a broken coffee pot, the mini-fridge door wouldn't open because it was too big for the cabinet that it was in, and the bathroom needed much repair/cleaning. […] Overall, the room was fine, but not great. Very good location, however this hotel was extremely noisey.The layout is not what i expected from a hotel of this caliber.I would however recommend this hotel to those traveling with small or teenage children. But as a getaway for the wife and I, I prefer something a lot more quieter.
