Es handelt sich um ein einfaches und preiswertes Hotel mit einem Pool im Innenhof und einen abgeschlossenen Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel. Der Kühlschrankgriff war schmierig, die Bodensauberkeit liess zu wünschen übrig und im Bad lag noch die Seife des Vormieters. Das Hotel ist neu Renoviert und sehr sauber. Der super günstige Preis verwunderte mich zuerst, jedoch vertraute ich den Hotelbewertungen und wurde in keinster weise enttäuscht. Das Personal war super nett und gab sich sehr viel Mühe mir alle möglichkeiten der Stadttouren und Ticketbestellungen für Universal Studios zu erklären. Da ich mit meinem Ipad […] die Tickets online bestellte ( 2 Tage Eintritt für den Preis von einem Tag in Universal Studios ) musste ich die Tickets ausdrucken. Man stellte mir den Computer der Reception zur Verfügung um von meinem Email Konto dies auszudrucken. Da man in Los Angeles einen Mietwagen haben sollte um die weiten Strecken zu überbrücken ist es kein Problem, daß sich das Hotel nicht sehr Zentral befindet. Eine Bushaltestelle ist ca. 100 Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Wir haben am ersten Tag den Bus genutzt. Es dauerte 45 minuten zu den Studios. Mit dem Auto war dies in 25 minuten geschehen. Die Gegend ist ok. Habe mich nie unsicher gefühlt. Parken ist Kostenlos und Wifi ebenfalls. Andere Hotels sind doppelt so teuer und kassieren auch noch für Parken und wifi. Folgende Kritik hätte ich zu äußern: Es gibt keine Zimmersafes oder Safes in der Lobby. Habe dies auch dem Personal mitgeteilt. Man hat diese Kritik dankend angenommen. Ein Wafflemaker zum Frühstück wäre gut. Ist ja in den meisten Hotels Standard. Die Brunnenanlage im Innenhof scheint keine Fortschritte zu machen. Dies wird in einigen Bewertungen als ewige Baustelle erwähnt. Wäre schön wenn irgendwann dort Wasser plätschern würde. Alles in allem kann ich dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Es ist auf meinen Reisen durch die USA bei allen Hotels/ Motels die ich besucht habe auf jeden Fall im oberen drittel meiner Rankings anzutreffen und für LA überaschend gut. Zum Vergleich: Im Waldorf Astoria / New York war die Austattung und Sauberkeit der Zimmer um ein vielfaches schlechter. Mehr

When I drove up I was not impressed, looked like an old hotel. But I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the room, updated , clean and very comfortable, worth the price paid. Service at the desk was both great in the evening and morning! Breakfast was a little weak but passable. There is a IHOP down the street. Would stay there again.

The room was clean and comfortable. Not a bad continental breakfast - the waffle maker and cream toasted cheese bagels was a delight. Complimentary parking and in room wireless internet was great. The surrounding area was loud. You can hear every door slam, all the talking outside your room, and the second story floor squeeks like crazy. Not good when the people above you walk around till 1am, and are up at 5am walking around. Just there for business, but was not a good environment to get a good nights sleep.

nice place for a quick stay, very friendly staff, tiny pool but it does have one if you wanted to cool off.

For a cheap hotel, this was not a bad place. It was decent, clean room, near restaurants. We just needed a quick place to stop for the night. It's not the nicest area, but, seemed safe and just an older area.

Our room was comfortable and clean although the lighting is not good in the room. Staff was accommodating. Breakfast was a little disappointing though. Coffe wasnt refilled and not much much to choose from

Staff is very helpful, rooms very clean. Only disadvantage is no elevator, but that did not effect OUR stay.

We would stay there again.

A nice hotel for the price good location for Reseda and my room was very clean. No little unwanted guests to hitch a ride home with us. The staff were friendly and professional. We had free wifi and a continental breakfast. I love the 12pm checkout time!

We stayed for 2 nights, and our room was clean and quiet. We will definitely stay there again. The only complaint I have is that the back, gate-accessed parking lot was jammed full of AT&T service vehicles on Friday night and we barely got a spot. I don't get that, but it won't stop us from staying again.

The staff wade the stay great, great people, clean rooms.

This hotel was outstanding for its cleanliness both in the lobby and rooms.

Excellent value - clean, well served, secure hotel. I really appreciated the night clerk working with me to get WiFi - a matter that might need some looking into - not all rooms seem to be accessible.

The room was very nice and clean. It was quiet and secure, and the bed was comfortable.

My son and I arrived and checked in. Ulisis I believe was his name was so nice. I asked him where a Chase bank was and he printed me directions to three banks. He also upgraded our room because I really wanted a non smoking room. He then helped me by allowing me to use the hotel fax and his computer. He was so professional. The rooms were very clean […] and I am very picky having worked in the hotel business myself. Checking out was fast and pleasant. What a great price and great experience! I would stay there again, and would recommend it to everyone! Mehr

Stood here for one night just passing though. Was looking for a clean/classy hotel for a reasonable price. Definitely got what I wanted. Highly recommend this place.

Please train your front desk people. He was very rude. I stayed with my family there January 13 2012 and I check in at 10 :30 pm that you can find out who was on duty. Your hotel is perfect for families to stay.

I needed a hotel in this area and this one worked fine. The guys at the desk were very nice and offered me fresh cookies when I came in. The center courtyard is small and dark and the pool is squeezed in there. The room is by far the best part. Clean. Nice Bed. Marble top furniture. Flat screen. Good cheap hotel

The hotel is under new management, and the new staff is curteous, helpful, and friendly. Our room had been newly painted and carpeted and was spotlessly clean. It did, however, have a funny smell, and the bedspread, although clean, was thread-bare. The common outdoor area is in the process of being renovated and cleaned up. A continental breakfast […] and USA Today are included without additional charge. The breakfast is standard fare but adequate. Secure parking behind the hotel is also free. The hotel is in Reseda; centrally located in the Valley; and was convenient to the venues we were visiting. There's a large selection of good and varied restaurants within a 3 mile radius. Clerk very friendly and helpful. Great hotel.

We chose this hotel since it was near to my family whom we were visiting for Christmas. Basically, we were only there to sleep for seven nights. The room was fine but every night the infrastructure (pipes, air conditioning and/or other equipment) made a lot of noise with a high ptched whine/wistle that woke us and kept us awake. Also there were a number […] of noisy guests (kids) that rampaged around in the middle of the night but no one did anything about it even though it must have awakened others. HOJO so convenient. We were close to our grandson, church for services, and the 101.

I was disappointed to find that not all KIng rooms had jacuzzi tubs )-: beyond that the room was very comfortable. The neighborhood is kind of sketch and we had problems with the entry cards a couple times as did others. Many people getting stranded at the back gate. Howard Johnson Reseda is a beautiful, well-maintained motel with great service. The rooms are well furnished. The pool and jacuzzi are small, but clean and warm. The location is blue-collar/commercial. Free breakfast of fruit, cereal, muffins & toast. There is a Kosher grocery & restaurant nearby. Short drive to Getty & Skirball museums. I stayed at this hotel because it was a short walk to a three day conference. Convenience was the main reason for the choice. It's an OK hotel in an almost rough neighborhood. No cafe or restaurant at hotel but several local restaurants deliver to hotel. The staff is friendly. Cleaning of room: did not change sheets only straightened bed, food bits […] from a previous guest were not vacuumed up after two days. So cleaning was spotty at best. OK for the price. Mehr

Not at all what I expected after reading its reviews. The service was good but the hotel is not in its best shape. Next time I will definetely go to another hotel.

The hotel has improved greatly since being under new management. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and pleasant. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe.

Looked like no one was staying here. The back lot was fenced off. About 6 spaces out front. Never had any problem finding aparking spot.

Rooms nice , nice inside room, working class neighborhood of L.A. Only 2 min. Walk to Magda Institute of martial arts school.

I came to this hotel as a result of a last-minute business decision. I arrived at about 9 in the evening. Check-in was easy. The room was clean and comfortable, with granite counters and other pleasant amenities. Breakfast the next morning was good, and the lobby where it is served was clean and comfortable. My business meeting the next day was from […] 11-12:30. I asked for a late checkout and they let me keep the room until 1:30. This let me comfortably change out of my fancy suit and into more comfortable and informal clothes. The bottom line is that I had a fine night's stay and I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anybody who needs a comfortable, professional place to stay. Mehr

The hotel is great. I like the secured parking and overall rooms are nice but that night was loud as hell with college kids shouting hollering and who knows what all night through the halls. Could not sleep during such ruckus. The noise level needs to be kept down

Very safe and in a great location. The entire hotel is enclosed, felt very safe. The service and room was great! I will definitely stay there again.

When I arrived in this place I got in doubt if it was a hotel or a penitentiary. The place is conserved but the look and feel is really horrible. It is not well lit, the colors are heavy and the breakfast is a joke. Los Angeles has a lot of best places to stay. Look for any other place to stay.

The hotel is in a not so great area so I had that image in my head walking in. As soon as I entered the Hotel that was all turned around. The inside greeting area was very nice and the staff was even nicer. I had arrived way before the rooms were ready, but they went ahead and made a room for me and let me check in 3 hours ahead of check-in time. Parking […] was in a gated parking lot and I was very grateful for that service because of the neighborhood. The room was in exceptional shape especially for only being a 2 star hotel. Overall the experience was very pleasant and I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was in the area. For the price I don't think you could find a better deal. Mehr
