"Bestes Hotel in allen Bereichen"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 30. Okt. 2012Nach einer Ontario-Rundreise verbrachten wir 5 Nächte im Homewood-Suites. Vom Auto hatten wir uns bewußt getrennt, um mit den öffentl. Verkehrsmitteln (Bushaltestelle fast vor dem Hotel, 20 Min. zur U-Bahn-station) Toronto anzusehen. Das Haus ist noch sehr neu. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Zimmer waren komfortabel ein- gerichtet und sehr sauber! Sauberer kleiner Pool mit warmem Wasser und ein toller Fitnessraum waren ideal nach dem Stadtbummel. Ein für nordamerikanische Verhältnisse sehr vielseitiges Frühstücksbuffet war täglich ein schöner Start in den Tag! Sollte es uns noch mal nach Toronto verschlagen, so werden wir garantiert wieder DIESES Hotel buchen!

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 29. Okt. 2012Ein empfehlenswertes Hotel in zentraler Lage in Toronto. Parken ist im benachbarten Parkhaus möglich, kostet jedoch pro Nacht ca. 25 Can$. Ist in der Umgebung aber auch nicht billiger. Die Zimmer sind sauber, groß und gut ausgestattet. Etwas störend war, dass man die Fenster gar nicht öffnen kann, die Klimaanlage (individuell einstellbar) ist aber sehr leise und effizient. Frühstück haben wir nicht im Hotel, sondern in den benachbarten Coffeeshops eingenommen. Guter Fitnessraum mit Sauna. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt, Restaurants, Coffeeshops, Markthalle) nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Schneller Check-in und -out.

"Holy bad hotel experience"
Where to start? First the shuttle took FOREVER to get to the airport and then the hotel, but it was complimentary do you deal, right? Nope, they had a $6 fee for their complimentary shuttle that is posted nowhere on the site or on their signage. Then, apparently my request to have another person check in didn't come through on the reservation, so when […] my friend showed up harried after 12 hours of travel, the clerk at the desk refused to let her check in AND wouldn't allow me to call and verify that it was ok. After she and I both called and expressed how ludicrous their policy was especially with a multi day booking, he finally relented, but you could tell he was upset with that choice. Then the room had a smell and a persistent large HUM behind the bed. Then the internet didn't work. I expressed my discontent with the previous night's staff with the morning staff on check out, and he seemed nicer. The room was great. Breakfast in the restaurant in the morning was not good at all. There was a large group in for breakfast the same time I was with only 1 or 2 servers. A very long wait for ordering, I didn't have the time so I took the buffet. No juice of any kind was left. The rooms are large and comfortable. Separate bedroom, living room with couch and chair and large work desk. Wifi worked well. There is also a kitchenette with coffee station, sink and bar fridge. Arrived at the hotel around 10:00 PM. The lady at the reception desk was so slow. It tooks us a good 15 minutes to register for our room. I asked for a room not to be beside the elevator and it WAS RIGHT BESIDE IT. Restaurant attached to the hotel a total rip off. One small piece of lasagna, 2 eggs rolls and a coke cost $32.00. "First poor experience from hotels.com booking"
Do not recommend a stay at this hotel. Booked my room but upon arrival was informed that no other guests not staying with the hotel would be allowed to come to my room for any visits, in fact also upon arrival I was informed that designated guests staying over night had to identify themselves with wristbands in order to even enter the elevator to their […] rooms. Upon this news, was told that I could speak to hotel management if I had any issues with this however when I agreed, hotel management would not present themselves to speak or even acknowledge the specific conditions that they were setting. Furthermore, there was hair across my washroom floor which further put a damper on my stay. "Terrible TV's and programming"
Decent place to stay for the week, biggest issue was the TV's!! OLD OLD OLD very BASIC programming missed all my shows in the evening as they didn't get those channels. I usually rent cheaper hotels like Comfort Inn's things like that and they have Flat Screens and lots of programming. The room I had had OLD tube small TV's from the 80's that had terrible […] picture and then only the very basic cable on top of it. Suggestion.......Update people WOW!! "convenient location for airport"
Our room was spacious, very clean and beds were comfortable. Major problem with hotel is that the walls are paper thin, which makes for a very noisy room. Just normal activity throughout the hotel is very noise and made it most difficult to sleep.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

Tha location of this hotel is great. We were in Toronto on an unexpected stopover. Not wanting to have to go far to eat. We found everything located in the same parking lot basicly. "Needs some updates"
The rooms are very outdated. The carpets and furniture are old and the tv's are old and small. The bathroom is very old and out of date. Our sleep number bed was not functioning. Also, while in the lobby, another guest was on her cell phone loudly using profane language to whoever was on the other end. None of the hotel staff spoke with this woman […] and asked her to stop. "Will not stay at this property ever again."
Hotel participates in Expedia VIP program but the room I got was an airline crew room on 3rd floor right behind elevators and with a view of their massive garbage bin. I was told everyday they do not have any better rooms for me. Room was very outdated but the worse thing about this hotel is that its right on the flight path and planes were landing […] every 90 seconds making huge noise. Hotel did not invest in sound deadening as I have stayed in similar airport hotels before and you could not hear anything in the room. I will not stay at this property ever again.
