Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 10. Dez. 2012Das Hotel liegt relativ gut, nur etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Prudential-Tower oder zum Start des Freedom Trail. Das Zimmer war riiiesig, hatte aber entgegen unserer Reservierung nur ein Bett anstatt zwei, was ein wenig ärgerlich war. Ansonsten war es ok, das inkl. Frühstück war etwas mager, der Aufzug uralt mit unangenehmen Geräuschen.

Das Hotel liegt ideal für Einkaufstouren direkt gegenüber des Prudential Centers (und der Cheescake Factory!) und des angegrenzenden Copley Place. Auch der Freedom Trail ist nicht weit. Restaurants und Bars in der quirligen Nachbarschaft sind leicht zu erreichen. Das Hotelzimmer war ausreichend groß, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Am Eigang wird man von einem sehr netten Portier empfangen, Das Hotel ist im Vergleich zu preislich gleichwertigen Hotels sehr gut eingerichtet . Die Zimmer und das Bad sind sauber. Allerdings reicht der Schrank im Zimmer kaum, da ja auch die großen Kissen und die Tagesdecken irgendwie verstaut werden müssen. This being my first time to Boston and trying to figure out just where was the best place to stay was a bit challenging. I settled on the Colannade after checking many, many different hotel websites. It looked modern, clean and central. I am pleased to say it lived up to the all three things. I was really pleased with the Luxe room (9th Floor). Gerry […] - Concierge was very helpful. The down side - the communication ahead of my visit (I had a couple of questions I wanted clarifying, so I contacted via their website) required me to chase a few time. Perfect location, right next to T stop, but also easy to drive to, with hotel parking--average cost for Boston parking. Having the Prudential Center was great for nieces and nephews, and I liked the variety of restaurants close by. Neighborhood felt safe, and very convenient for college visits. This hotel is in a great location The room was very pleasant, spacious and clean. We would definitely stay there again. Our only complaint was that a light was out in the bathroom. Great hotel with a fantastic staff, parking easy, breakfast was decent. One negative, the hotel is not sound-proof. We heard people talking at 5:15 in the morning both nights, doors slamming in the hallway and the cleaning crew in the hallway and traffic noise on Huntington Street. The Colonnade is a great smaller hotel (10 stories) in a neighborhood of large high rise hotels. It is clean, has extremely helpful staff (particularly the concierge and bell hops), and has great views of the 2 neighborhoods it straddles (the Back Bay on one side and the South End on the other). Rooms are a decent size and nicely done. Brunch at Brasserie Jo was great and the hotel is across from Prudential and Copley Malls and close to Newbury Street shopping. "AMAZING STAFF"
Not only was the location of this hotel absolutely amazing but the staff here was phenomenal. I absolutely love how close it is to Fenway, Boylston St and of course the Prudential Center. The Keurig was a great touch to the room and I have to say the beds may be the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on! The staff here was beyond amazing and I would […] 100% come back just because of that. The doorman was beyond helpful though I don't remember his name and the night security guard was also great. They went above and beyond and made us feel like royalty! We had such a great time I would come back in a heartbeat, in fact we're planning our next trip to Boston right now! See you again soon. "Good hotel"
Good hotel. Was clean. Our room had a problem with the heat. Called front desk and they had someone come up in a couple of minutes. And fixed the problem. Shower heads were nice and powerful. Reasonably priced. Would stay again.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

I have travelled alot and this Hotel is my favortie, it never disappoints. I think the wifi was a bit expensive and would have been nice to have it cheaper or free in the room, that is my only complaint. "Pretty much perfect"
We needed an escape from things but still wanted to experience the city. The hotel is located within walking distance of a number of Boston sights, and also has a T stop right outside the door. The room was clean and modern (the hotel has recently been refurbished), the bed was blissfully comfortable and it was a fantastically quiet location to escape […] from everything. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room service from the Brasserie Jo downstairs was reasonably priced.
