Upon arrival to our room at midnight, there was a half used bar of soap in the shower, the toilet lid had obviously not been cleaned due to 'spots' on it and there were no towels. Oops! Someone forgot to finish there job. The manager promptly moved us to another room that was clean and well stocked. The only issue is the bath tub would not drain as […] it should. Although our room was on the side next to the interstate, by turning the air conditioner fan on low, the noise was negated. Breakfast was typical biscuits/gravy, cereal, muffins. Decent although the space was crowded. I prefer indoor corridors but it was okay for a quick stay. Staff was helpful and was quick to correct the cleanliness issue. Mehr

Good motel for the price

First, the photo on the internet does not do it justice. The property backs up to the Interstate and is located in a sketchy neighborhood. Secondly, on checking into my room, I found dirty diapers in two of the wastebaskets, leaving me to wonder just how clean anything else was! (When I called the front desk, the dirty diapers were promptly removed […] - by the same lady that had just checked me in at the front desk! Apparently, she was the only employee on duty.) The AC worked, as did the plumbing. But, given the discovery of the dirty diapers, I had no confidence that anything was clean or sanitary. I will not be staying here again. Mehr

The room was nice, found last guests earplugs (oops), other than that the room was very comfortable, the hotel was quiet, checkout clerk was great, all the essentials in the room were nice and in good working order. I really enjoyed my stay. It was close to locations of interest to me. Check in and check out were speedy. My only complaint is that they don't give late check outs. An hour later check out would have made the stay perfect.

The hotel staff was very kind and help full with tips and cost for transportation. We have stayed here before and seeing a slow degradation of the the room quality. Full size pillows would be nice.

Room could have been vacuumed a little more thoroughly, noted dust bunnies in a few corners, mirror looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Very helpful courteous staff. Very good continental breakfast, well-stocked.

The hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and nice. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've ever slep on, but it was satisfactory. The only drawback was the noise from I 20. We felt like we were sleeping on the highway. It was loud all night long. Booked a non-smoking room, but we were put in a smoking room - cigarette burn holes in the blanket and bedspread. The lock was coming out of the wall (where it was screwed in). No ice bucket in the room, and they said they didn't have any, so we had to put ice in a trash bag. Very disappointing.

We were booked into a room which upon entering, overwhelmed our sensory system with the foul odor of mold...almost to the gagging point. It was late at night and we were tired from a long 5 hour flight, so we didn't want to bother about changing the room. But we could see the blobs of mold on the bathroom ceilings and walls. In addition, after walking […] around the room barefoot for a while we noticed our feet were black with dirt! The next morning I requested a room change, which was accommodated by the assistant manager without any problem and the new room was fine. I later spoke with the manager and asked him how could he put any guests in such a putrid smelling room (even the cleaning people knew about "Room 139"), but he denied any problems with it. When I asked him if he had been in the room, he replied, "No." Then he said, "The room is now closed." Mehr

Stayed (1) night. Wife did complain about the noise. Lots of people loitering. Queen beds seemed smaller than normal size. Room was clean but had a slight moldy smell. Everything worked OK. Location was excellent. Surrounded by casinos near downtown Shreveport. Staff was very nice and helpful. Quick & easy check-in and checkout.

WHen we checked in the man at the front desk was very nice. We had a room across from the pool which worked out nice for our daughters. HOWEVER, the toilet in our room would not flush unless we filled the tank with water each time. No one that worked at the hotel seemed to know the hours the pool was open. When going to the breakfast the next morning […] the woman working at the desk was so rude!! She has ZERO personality and talking to the customers seemed to be a chore for her. Check out was the same way. I would never want to have to deal with her again and in my opinion i think she is pursuing the wrong career choice. Mehr

If I had been there without my husband I might have felt threatened. The hotel and staff were super, but some of the guests were standing with their doors wide open and talking on cell phones. Lots of loitering. It just felt a little uncomfortable. We had a noise maker to keep us from hearing the road noise from the Interstate Highway. Payed in advance on hotels.com they charged my card when I got there. The manager said he refunded my money but it didn't go back into my account until a week later. Stained sheets with cigarette burns. Checked out early, would not stay there again.

Great stay. Enjoyed the free breakfast, surprised at how much it included. Very clean very nice and close to every casino in the area. Would def. stay there again next trip to the casino's.

We stayed one night. The room smelled moldy, I fixed the toilet so it would flush, the hair dryer did not work. The manager brought me a hair dryer and told me about the reset. I knew about the reset and that was not the problem. He just walks in with my wife in the shower and finally agrees that the hair dryer does not work. Seven hours after check […] out the hotel calls and accuses me of stealing the hair dryer and they charged my card $25. I raised a little hell with them and they still charged my card. About 10 minutes after that they called back saying maintenance found the hair dryer hidden behind the end table by the housekeeping crew. They reversed the $25 charge and did not even apologize. The room stunk terribly. It smelled as if the previous guest had smoked an entire carton in the room. We were supposed to have a non smoking room and we obviously did not. The noise from the adjacent highway was terrible as well. The staff was not interested in helping at all and you could tell that they did not enjoy being there. Don't stay here.

Overpriced not what I'm used to from a Comfort Inn. It was run down and there appeared to be come stains on the ottoman.

Clean room, king sized bed, had a crib available for the baby which was excellent. The crib looked new. Larger sized dorm freezer which helped keep our baby food frozen. Overall excellent experience.

This hotel is within spitting distance of I-20. The traffic noise couldn't be stopped with ear plugs. the hotel might be acceptable if you were on the side opposite the freeway. It is not a 2 star hotel...one star is even a stretch. Not recommended.

All hotels in the area are pretty pricey and this one was convenient for our business meeting. The food was plentiful, but the eggs were dry and all tiny little balls. Friendly staff and we were helped with directions to every place we asked about. The neighborhood is a bit run down and we had to stay in a smoking room to be on the first floor with […] a king even though we checked in early in the day. I got a headache from the smell in the room. If you want a non-smoking on the first floor, you had better call ahead to get it. My husband has trouble climbing the stairs and we had no choice.
