Hotel liegt an Highway, etwas abseits der Zentren, aber gut zu erreichen. Da man in LA so oder so fast nur per eigenem Auto unterwegs sein kann, kein großer Nachteil. Outlet Center als Nachbar. Sehr sauber und freundlich!!! Empfehlenswert. Sehr gutes PL-Verhältnis.

Gutes und sehr sauberes Hotel in der unmittelbaren Nähe eines Outletscenters; ruhige Lage; sehr freundliches und entgegenkommendes Personal an der Rezeption. Es gibt sehr viele kostenfreie Parkplätze. Wünschenswert wäre noch ein Kühlschrank bei den hohen Außentemperaturen auf dem Zimmer gewesen.

Der Check in verlief schnell. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Allerdings sollte man daruaf achten nicht ein Zimmer in der Nähe der Fahrstühle zu bekommen, da sie schon in den frühen Morgenstunden sehr laut sind. Lage: Direkt an einer Outlet - Mall. Gute Gegend. Je nach Verkehrslage ist Hollywood ca. 20 bis 40 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Alles in allem […] ist das Hotel für 1-2 Nächte super geeignet, vorausgesetzt man hat ein Auto! Mehr

Super Hotel keine Beanstandungen

Da es in Los Angeles bzw. in Kalifornien nicht ohne Auto geht, wird man sich schwer tun, in Hotel zufinden wo GRATIS Parkplätze anbietet. Das DoubleTree by Hilton bietet so etwas an. Es gibt einen riesen Parkplatz wo man parkieren kann. Dieser ist sogar Nachts bewacht. Das Hotel liegt neben einem Outlet Shopping Mall, daher auch perfekt zum Einkaufen. […] Die Umgebung ist zwar nicht die schönste, aber wir fühlten uns nie unsicher. Zu der Nachbarschaft gehört auch ein Casino, Starbucks, Sushi Laden und McDonalds. Die Bedienung an der Rezeption war sehr freundliche und hilfsbereit. Wir erhielten sogar Gratis einen Internet Zugang. Ein Pool war auch vorhanden wie auch ein Fitness Raum. Vom Hotel aus ist die Innenstadt von LA innert 20 Minuten erreichbar. Perfekter Ort für eine Reise mit dem Auto nach: LAS VEGAS (ca 430km), Santa Monica (ca 38km), LA (ca 20km) Sehr zu empfehlen, auch für Familien. Nachts ist es sehr leise, das Hotel liegt unmittelbar neben dem Highway, man hört aber kein einziges Auto. Wir werden dieses Hotel bei unserer nächsten CA Reise sicher wieder buchen! Mehr

Just very friendly, large rooms, perfect shopping location

Die Doppelbetten sind zu schmal für 2 Personen. Die Zimmer Richtung Freeway sind sehr laut und auch wegen der rückseitigen Firma mit den frühmorgens wegfahrenden Lastwagen sehr laut.

Nahe Downtown mit benachbarter schöner Outlet-Mall. Empfehlenswertes L.A.-Hotel mit Gratis-Parkplatz, schöner Innenhof-Pool.

Das Hotel liegt gerade neben einem grossen Outlet Einkaufszentrum.

The stay was relaxing. The pool/spa was totally awesome. This was our 2nd straight year staying at this Double Tree for our annual SoCal trip. Looks like it'll "spot" for our future SoCal trips. Thank you to all the staff.

It was terrible and we actually moved to get away!

Many family members, and latin dance venues are nearby. We accomplish both visiting family and having a ball on the dance floor! The whirlpool is groovy - yet has many leaves ... Howabout increasing maintenance in that area? PeaceOut.

This was the first time that I stayed at a Double Tree. It was a great experience. The warm chocolate chip cookie that they welcome you with at check in made my day. The check in was really fast and easy. I always struggle sleeping on hotel beds, however, here they were great. I noticed the difference when I woke up. And, check out was a breeze. Loved it! Down for the weekend to catch a GS Warriors at the Staples Center vs the LA Clippers. We are diehard Warrior fans and this hotel was awesome.

Very comfort to stay and room is clean.

I always stayed at this hotel whenever I am at L.A., but this time I got no sleep at all. My room was on second floor. I can hear everything from the next room and there were kids yelling and running up and down the halls all night. For some strange reason these kids does not sleep. They also enjoyed slamming doors all night too. I was just too tired […] to do anything about it.Next time I must remember to not get a room on the lower levels. Mehr

Great location. Can't get any closer to the Citadel Outlets but the noise of the freeway kept me up.

The front desk staffs were too cool when we check in & also when check out, it made me feel like they are the bosses of us. I don't feel like we are welcome.

The hotel was great. Except they wanted to charge us extra for internet.

Guest Relations Manager misled us about a refund. We got nothing but the runaround and eventually they took our monwy witrhout ever stayomg at the hotel.

Good location for the mall, walking distance. Not as nice as the one near Disneyland and it cost more than the one near Disneyland. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was very good there. The air/ heat unit was substandard. I probably won't stay hear again. I will just go 5 miles south and stay at the Embassy in Downey which […] includes breakfast and free drink and snacks at happy hour and the rooms are much nicer and the price is about the same. Mehr

- headboard against elevator wall, extremely noisy - despite all the fixings for coffee, there was no machine in the room - restaurant was closed at 6:30pm, and only close options were fast food places at outlet mall

At the time when I made my reservation I specified I wanted a room on your top floor, but non were available when I checked in. I am aware preferences and requests are not guaranteed, but why offer them if you can't guarantee them. I am pleased to say your staff was able to set us up on the middle floor and our guest room was very comfortable. Unfortunately, […] our peace was disturbed at 5:00 am when the guests in the two rooms across from us began to speak loudly in the hallway, banging luggage around, and allowing the door to hit the metal hinge as they went from one room to the other nonstop for one hour. I understand the behavior of others is out of your control, but I urge you to please remind your guest to be thoughtful of other guest sleeping. Thank you. Mehr

Thought this suppose to be a 4 star hotel, turn out to be totally wrong. Poor soundproofing, missing towel and toiletries. Everything cost $$$....internet, newspaper and no complimentary breakfast......Will not recommend this to anyone

When I was planning my trip to L.A. for my unckl's funeral, I called to make reservation over the phone. I was told there weren't any rooms with double beds and only rooms with a king beds was available. I also was told that they did not reserve rooms for one day. I mentioned that my cousin had made arrangements to block 10 rooms with double beds. That […] did not seem to matter! Fustrated, I hung up with the person at Double Tree and made my reservations on line. I was able to get a one night stay and double beds there at Double Tree. It was stressful and emotional already having to deal with loosing a loved one and then having to deal with (were do I stay) made matters worse. Mehr

The Doubletree was ok, not special. Our double room was small and there was hardly any extra room for anything besides our luggage. The staff were helpful and kind. The location was not an issue as we had a car.

Great place to stay! Rooms are clean and fresh. The pool area is very topical and lush, with a lot of tropical plants, flowers and birds. The staff are all as helpful and answer all questions with a smile. You felt like you were staying with familly. As if that's not enough, there's a wonderful outlet center with great stores and places to eat, across […] a parking lot, 2 blocks away! We had a wonderful stay. Mehr

I stayed in this Hotel in the middle of my California exploration trip for my kids and nephews. Checked in late evening on December 21st, when I asked this boy at the front to count my stays into the HHonors program points, he said “No!” and explained that they no longer give out HHonors points to those who made reservations through 3rd party ( in this […] case, hotels.com). When I told him that I was earning HHonors points or PriorityClbuReward points from Hampton Inn and Holiday Express Inn. He repeated saying that Double Tree no longer allows HHonors points to the reservations made through 3rd party. Soon after checked in a room in 5th floor, my kid reported Internet connection problem. Rebooting their router on that floor by their maintenance person didn’t help connecting to Internet. When I called the front, this boy at the front desk said “Tablet PC’s were having trouble to connect to Internet.” And I was told to call some Internet company to get a help. When I told him not just my kid’s iPad but also my notebook cannot connect due to weak signal, then he offered to try it on a different floor. This Internet connection problem made my family to pack, move and unpack to 3rd floor. Now in a new room, the A/C window unit was not working properly. It was nosy and a half of the vent was blowing cold air while the other half blowing hot air. I called the front again and reported heater problem to the same person. He said the maintenance person had left for the day and he puzzled me by saying “Do you remember you already changed your room?” Now, when I asked a portable heater, he said “No! We don’t have portable heaters in this hotel.” And he said he however can get extra blankets. More than 25 minutes wait, two persons showed up with blankets and a small reflective type directional heater. Lying in a cold bed, I was wondering why all this things were happening and if my Christmas in California was going to be totally ruined. Following day evening when I came back to hot Mehr

We stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday to visit family. Although it feels off the beaten path and a bit dark and tucked away, it was a great find! The room was spacious enough and the bathroom a decent size. Staff was always courteous and friendly. Loved the bar area and the adjacent library. The fitness center is well equipped with modern machines […] (and TV screens for each!). We had NO idea the hotel shared a parking lot with an outlet mall. They were far enough to not interfere with the hotel ambiance but close enough to walk to and shop. Great find! Mehr

Nice place...friendly staff. The restaurant is a bit pricey but good food. And to that waiter I had the first night. Step it up...my dinner should have had a salad and if you were paying attention I would have had way more beer than you brought me...other than that nice place.

I love this hotel you will not be disappointed,it is very close to downtown,hollywood blvd and the beach,and the staff was sooooo nice and friendly,and the bed was to die for ,i love this hotel.

This is my second time staying in this Hotel. I actually like coming to this hotel due to its proximity to the Citadel shopping. Especially if you come on a holiday weekend and Outlet shopping is great, plus it is really close to the hotel (AKA walking distance). The only down side was I need to get some work done and the hotel WiFi was not working, […] was a nominal fee for the service but they had issues with it. But great location and enjoyed my stay! Room service could have come earlier but still had a good time. Will definitely stay here again. Mehr

Great hotel clean, nice. Just not a big selection of restaurants in outlet mall only red robin.

Have stayed here on two occasions and staff is consistently professional and friendly. It's what you would expect at any hotel, however, the staff here stands out and makes your stay a bit nicer. Hotel is well kept and maid service is excellent.

I've stayed in pricey hotels that did not meet my standards but this hotel by far is great! The beds were marvelous and the staff very accommodating.
