Dies war das beste hotel das wir in unserer 3 wöchigen USA Rundreise gebucht hatten. Wir hatten ja eigentlich Stadtblick gebucht haben dann jedoch vor Ort ohne Aufpreis ein Zimmer mit Meerblick bekommen. Wir waren dort um San Francisco zu besuchen. Der einzige Wehrmutstropfen war das wir jeden Tag bei der Fahrt über die Bay Bridge Mauthgebühr zahlen […] mussten (6 Dollar) aber das war es wert. Mehr

Großes Hotel, große luxeriöse Zimmer zu einem guten Preis. Lage: Liegt am Freeway in einer Reihe mit einem Motel6. Rückseite des Hotels in Richtung Bucht. Keine Lärmbelästigung. TOP.

Super Service der Rezeption. Zimmer mit Hafenblick ist zu empfehlen, weil sonst der stark befahrene Highway hörbar ist. Frühstück war i.o.

Wir hatten über hotels.com ein Zimmer mit "Stadt"-Blick gebucht, was sich als Zimmer zu einer lauten Autobahn herausstellte. Schlafen bei offenem Fenster war so nicht drin. Das Zimmer selbst war groß, geräumig und sauber. Wer sich allerdings auf den in der Zimmerbeschreibung zugesicherten WLAN-Zugang verlässt, kann Pech haben: WiFi funktioniert vielen […] Zimmern nicht, dafür gibt es aber einen Netzwerkanschluss (also Kabel nicht vergessen!) Das Frühstück war für amerikanische Verhältnisse ansprechend mit verschiedenen Sorten Kaffee, verschiedenen Säften, Toast, Bagels, Waffeln, Cornflakes und aufgewärmten Pfannkuchen bzw. Rührei sowie Würstchen. Der Freiluft-Pool mit Hot-Tub liegt zur Wasserseite und ist abends bis 22 Uhr geöffnet. Allerdings war der Hot-Tub nicht immer heiß. Mehr

Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer mehrspurigen Autobahn. Die Zimmer zum Wasser haben jedoch einen schönen Blick und sind relativ ruhig. Inneneinrichtung und Standard ist normal, Preis-Leistung ok. Allerdings ist das Frühstück eher bescheiden. Und der Pool kann nicht vor 10 uhr morgens benutzt werden. Wieso??

für 1 Übernachtung ist das Hotel okay. Die Gegend ist leider nicht zu empfehlen

Hotel alles in Ordnung. Lagebeschreibung der Zimmer (Stadtblick) bedeutet direkt an der Autobahn gelegen und sehr laut.

Was absolutely great for what it was. I wasn't looking to pay for a 5 star hotel. I was looking for a location convenient to Mills College, and I preferred to stay somewhere with a view of the water. The view was delightful. The staff was top notch. The accommodations were clean, more than adequate, and the amenities exceeded expectations (fresh fruit, […] deluxe coffee machine with fresh, refrigerated cream, and flavored non-dairy containers of Irish Cream, Vanilla & Hazelnut. Free newspapers (USA Today and SF Chronicle). The only down side was that they no longer offer pay per view TV, which was disappointing for the night I wanted to stay in and rest watching a good movie. Lovely, private balcony from which we were able to watch the sunset and enjoy the shimmering waters all day. Mostly quiet, and I am highly sensitive to noise. Had no problem there. And the breakfast was perfectly adequate, offering a whole variety of breakfast meals, not just muffins, if not gourmet food. Make your own waffles, prepared scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs already peeled, all types of breads, pastries and muffins with toaster available, spreads, PB&J ingredients, coffee 24-7, milk, etc. Really exceeded my expectations! I worked 6 weeks in the Alameda area and this was by far the best hotel. The area is rough and industrial, but much better than the Hilton and Holiday Inn near the airport!

The hotel staff were very nice but I would not stay here again. The interiors and decor are dated, reminiscent of an old Holiday Inn. My room was extremely noisy, with a tile floor in the hallway outside and carts rumbling by throughout the night. Not good for a restful night's sleep. i stayed 10days as i had a course in oakland ca. i was wooried about transportation but the hotel surprised me as they offer a shuttle service all around oakland and they return you back too..that solved alot of transportation problems as the hotel location is a bit away from the city center&resturants. the problem is that the hotel has no lunch or […] dinner resturant but they have free contenental breakfast, there is a near by quiznos & burger king. the warm welcoming service of the staff especially doris&miguel just eases things up for you Mehr

It was a bit noisy, you could clearly hear everything around you in other rooms. The hotel is next to the freeway and it was loud. Those were the only downsides. The room was really big and well worth the price. The bed was very comfortable.

Easy check in. Bonus was the wine and munchies in the afternoon during the week. (We were not aware of it until we were going to leave for dinner) Wine selection was impressive View of Bay was nice and the sunset was fabulous. Bed was firm, comfortable and enjoyed a nice evening before going to Cirque du Soleil event.

We were very tired when we arrived at the Executive Inn to check in to our "city view" room. When we arrived, we noticed that the "city view" rooms were actually several rooms facing the very busy freeway & construction in front of the hotel. We were elated when the front desk upgraded our reservation to a quieter room looking over the water in the […] rear of the hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean as was the hotel overall. Internet access was reliable. The continental breakfast was extensive & the quality good. Housekeeping was responsive; our room was cleaned well daily and the bed was very comfortable. Occasionally, you could hear the train go by (tracks are across the street in the front of the hotel). Whew, we were glad we didn't have to stay in one of the rooms in that part of the hotel. Would definitely stay at the Executive Inn again provided it is in a water-view room. Mehr

Comfortable beds. Only missing a t.v. channel guide. Nice bayside view in breakfast room. Good parking.

My room had a rather distinguishable smell of smoking although it was and non-smoking one. The bed and sheets were not nearly the best and plus the blankets were too light for the winter night. The swimming pool and the hot tub needed some cleaning as well. The location is ok with a nice pub and a view not too far.

Very average. Best part was that the hotel was relatively near the Oakland airport and they provided free transport from airport to hotel and around Oakland.

My visit was a quick in and out. I arrived later than expected and had evening plans. I was pleased to find complimentary wine & snacks in the lounge - this helped me catch up schedule wise! The room was decent size with a nice bathroom with a wonderful water view. No complaints whatsoever.

Outstanding Hotel..Outstanding CustomerService..Hotel shuttle service offered for dinner & shopping. Best experience ever. Will be back, will share the experience with family and friends. Excellent view of the bay!! WILL BE BACK!!!

Mixed feelings about this hotel..it was clean, the staff was nice, and it was convenient to the highway. Also, they had a fairly nice breakfast buffet. However, the rooms were not very comfortable. No chairs or couch to sit on, old bedspreads, carpeting, and furnishings. The biggest problem is that even though they advertise free wireless, they don't […] tell you that it is only available in the lobby. Although my experience was not terrible by any means, I will not stay here again and will look for a more modern, comfortable hotel. Mehr

I recently stayed at the Executive Inn in Oakland California for work. There were 5 of us that attended a training. All our rooms were booked seperately. When I got to my room, I thought "wow" this room is very loud! Come to find out that the window did not close- it was open about 1 inch. Which allowed all the freeway noise (that was right outside […] the second floor window) to enter my room. I tried to open it, it would not open- I tried to close it, it would not close. So it remained open about 1 inch the entire time I was there. It did not feel safe at all being on the second floor. There was a lock on the window that did not work. The lock on the door to the room was broken and I was unable to latch the upper lock. The bathroom floor and walls had1 inch tiles on them. Many of the tiles were loose and hanging off. The door jam into the bathroom looked as though someone had kicked it many times with scuff marks and paint chipped off. The light above the basin had about half the normal lighting- was a bulb out?- I don't know. There was a large stain on the carpet between the bed and the divider where you hang your clothes. The coffee pot was nice- however the loose sugar packets looked like that had been stomped on the floor and were crinkled. The stir sticks were just out in the open not in plastic. That did not seem very sanitary. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They did have a beautiful view of the waterfront from the back patio on the first floor. Mehr

I stayed here two nights with my husband. It was everything we needed and even better than what I thought when we booked. We had a waterfront room so the view was nice. The location is near the highway but it is not noisy at all on the waterside of the hotel. Executive Inn is business orientated, clean, efficiently run, good front desk help. We got […] a great recommendation to eat at Quinn's Lighthouse. We liked it so much for lunch we went back for dinner the same night. It's an easy 5 min. walk away. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time we're in the area to visit family and friends. Mehr

Great hotel for Raiders game, Too bad the Raiders are not as good as this hotel

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and parking was free. Although its near the 880 freeway, its a little confusing to find heading norhtbound (the southbound exit being right in front of hotel). Amazingly, traffic noise wasnt noticable either. The room itself was clean and comfortable but the carpet had stains and has […] seen better days. Overall, good hotel. I would stay there again... but keep the socks/flip-flops handy. Mehr

This hotel was a great price, and very comfortable and well maintained. We had a waterfront site, and it was beautiful. Woke up in the morning, had our complimentary breakfast, then went back to the room to sit on the patio and enjoy the waterfront, and watching people play catch with their dogs. Waterfront a little deceiving, but the staff was very helpful, the room clean and the breakfast excellent.

The desk clerk asked if it was my first time staying at the hotel. When I said yes, She emphasized that she hoped I had a good stay.

This hotel was very nice. The staff were very friendly and the shuttle to BART or the Oakland/Alameda ferry were priceless. We had the "city view" room which some said was not desirable, and had no problem w/noise. The smoke detectors were covered w/plastic probably from the previous occupant, but the maintenance staff quickly removed it. The breakfast […] room was big and very nice, food selection was great. Pretty waterfront view on the back side of hotel, with a walkway along the water. Short shuttle ride to BART and ferry. Parking at BART fills up quick (Merritt Lake), fyi... Mehr

I wouldn't call it a 4 star, but it's pretty close...the non-waterfront 1 queen bedroom are way smaller than the waterfront view room. If your a spacious person, I would upgrade to a water front view room like I did. Staff was curteous and friendly. The room was clean, the furniture in the rooms need to be upgraded a bit. Complentary breakfast was great! […] Parking was plenty, I didn't have to hassel or park far from my room. I believe the rates to be reasonable and fair and worth what you pay for. Overall, my stay was comfortable, I would stay there again if I absolutley need too. Mehr
