Rumor Boutique Hotel - Las Vegas

...jedoch ist die Lage gewöhnungsbedürftig! Ca. 30 Gehminuten vom Strip entfernt hätte man auf ein ruhiges Hotel gehofft. Jedoch durch die direkte Nähe zum Flughafen und unter der Einflugsschneise liegend ist es sehr laut und das durch das hohe Touristenaufkommen ca. alle 5 Minuten. Schade, denn ansonsten gibt es NICHTS auszusetzen.

Das noch relativ neue Rumor-Hotel überzeugt vor allem durch Style: geschmackvolle Einrichtung, eine tolle Poolanlage mit Liege-Betten und der Hotelkomplex ähnlich einer Ferienanlage. Hier kann man wählen, ob man sich abends in das Getümmel am Strip stürzt, das zu Fuß in einer knappen halben Stunde zu erreichen ist, oder ob man an einer der abendlichen […] Partys in der Hotelanlage teilnimmt. Wer abends lieber im Hotelzimmer entspannt, kann auch das (fast) ungestört tun - vom Partygeschehen im Hotel bekommt man dort nichts mit. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen: Das Hotel liegt in der Einflugschneiße des Flughafens und die Maschinen hört man doch recht deutlich. Vor allem morgens kann die Nachtruhe dadurch früher beendet sein, als einem lieb ist. Service und Sauberkeit sind jedoch top im Rumor - für alle, die in Vegas nicht nur zocken und feiern wollen, ist das Hotel daher sehr zu empfehlen. Mehr

The Rumor Hotel is a scaled down chic south beach hotel in Las Vegas. the decor and ambiance reflexs a very modern haute couture feel and a cosmoplitain flavor. while my room was well appointed and very comfortable, where the hotel lacked was in their service. From the goofy valet who couldnt find the only black suv in the lot, to the barback behind […] the bar who called himself a bartender. ( I mean really, how do you screw up a black coffee). Otherwise, I do reccomend the Rumor and it will be my choice for quick inexpensive stays in Vegas. Mehr

Outdoor jacuzzi not heated, in-room jacuzzi tub not working, very thin walls, customer service did not allow for room change even with loud noise below. Cheap, trendy feel to hotel, but maybe ok if you just want to party and get a discounted rate. Beware these are pretty much standard rooms with a couch and tub. I liked the rooms and the bed was comfy...the bathrooms were newly renovated and showerhead was amazing! My main complaint was the noisy guests - I was up from 3-5am...the hotel management needs to do a better job keeping their sleeping guests asleep and telling their guests to be quiet!

What a cool place to stay. It's a bit off the strip but we had a rental car. It was much nicer staying there than the Luxor, where we stayed the first few nights. If you don't have to have a casino underneath you, i reccommend this joint for sure.

We loved it since it was off the strip- not too far and right across Hard Rock hotel. Parking was easy, and loved that you didnt have to wait long or walk far for your car/parking. Staff was really friendly too. Would def stay there again! Its small and swanky.

The Rumor was recommended by a customer of mine and a coworker. It's a mile off the strip with no shuttle service. A taxi ride is about $10 including tip and there is free parking at the Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood. Our Skyline room was right on the street and the traffic noise was loud. They did move us when we requested it though. The jets […] in our jetted tub didn't work and I found myself touching the cold walls in the shower due to it's size. Upon returning from our honeymoon, I also discovered that they overcharged my daughter for her room. That said, the front desk staff and valet were very friendly and helpful. The room was very pretty and the bed was comfy. It was a decent hotel for the money but not one I'll be recommending due to it's distance from the strip and the kind of sketchy neighborhood behind it. Mehr

A nice property with no smoking rooms and no refrigerators in the room. There was only 3 ice machines on the property. Staff was really helpful and courteous. The rooms had flat screen TVs and very good quality mattresses. The bathrooms had nice granite shower and leather couch in room. I booked a room at Rumor Boutique Hotel and Spa in Las Vegas for what should have been a getaway for me but my unsteady work schedule changed my plans. I did end up staying at the hotel which took my breath away. Literally, it did. My stay was not what I wanted it to be as I ended up staying during my working visit rather than my intended reason for […] booking a room at this hotel. As mentioned earlier, the ambience of the hotel took my breath away. I appreciated very much that its not a hotel with a casino so there was lots of quiet and very little cigarette smoke except for the few guests who sat on their balconies to enjoy some carcinogen. The colors of the hotel brought lots of life to the hotel yet, they still gave me the opportunity to relax and unwind. Being from a tropical country, Belize, the pool area with white sands and hammocks were like a page from a travel magazine or better yet, took me back to my last vacation in the beautiful, tranquil seaside haven - paradise of Hopkins, Belize. The ginormous purple reclining style couch was so comfy, I began to doze out there. As to my room! Wow. Such comfortable bed. Big bed. I rolled ten times and was still in the middle. Warm covers. Firm, yet very accomodating pillows. Eclectic lamps, coffee tables, phones and bathroom. The sofa was grt. My only concern was that the tv on the wall could not swivel so whilst i sat in the sofa to do some paper work, I could not really see the game. Remember, its March Madness and my USF BUlls were representing well. I love this hotel. I have already told several friends of mine who live and also frequent Vegas to make it a must to spend at least 2 nights there. Sorry I did not get a chance to sample the drinks at the bar nor the cuisines from the kitchen, as I was working. I also did not really get to enjoy much of my room but there will be other trips to Vegas, in particularly, the Rumor Boutique. Good location, good service, overal positive. The only complaint is that you could hear too much noise from the hallway.

Great experience for me and my family

The hotel accommodations were stylish and cozy. The staff was friendly and they seemed to go out of their way to be helpful. The restaurant was a bit pricey ($7 for 2 cups of coffee). The only drawback was the location to the airport; the planes woke you up in the morning. We had a great stay at this hotel. There were a couple drawbacks, however: 1) Even though it is stated that this is an Adults Only hotel, there were kids swarming around the pool. Not a huge deal to me, but it was false advertising. 2) The bar and room-service drinks are INSANELY expensive. The in room bottle delivery service listed a bottle of Jose […] Cuervo at $200!! 3) It was far enough from the strip that we definitely had to get a cab and not walk. 4) The sink had insanely high pressure and would constantly splash onto the counter. Had some papers ruined and had a close call with some makeup. The good outweighed the bad though. 1) We booked two stays back to back, so that we could have the cheaper Junior suite for a weekend night, then bumped up to the biggest suite for a weekday night. When we arrived they said they just bumped us up to the larger suite for the weekend since no one else reserved it and it made our stay easier. It was great! 2) There is a liquor store only two buildings away, so you can avoid the insane bar prices easily 3) The room was comfortable and so was the bed 4) Great price for the features. I have no clue why anyone would rate this place one star simply for not providing a bathrobe. Mehr

just had to say i really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. the staff were excellent in helping us get a different room (that was actually even nicer than the one we had booked) due to street noise. So, when we saw the deal for staying at the Rumor Boutique online, we jumped at the opportunity since it was a seemingly decent hotel, right off the strip. Because of previous experience, we remembered that even though hotels often show nice photos of rooms and the amenities that they have to offer, they do not always live up to your expectations. […] I'm happy to report that every picture that we saw of the Rumor Boutique was accurate, and our expectations were exceeded. The room was beautiful, spacious, and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable, the bathtub was luxurious, the bathroom was very nice and roomy as well. We honestly were happily surprised and decided that every subsequent trip that we make to Vegas will be spent at this hotel. Thanks Rumor Boutique for the wonderful stay! I took a random 1 day trip to Vegas. Hotels.com had a great deal on a Junior Suite 1 King bed. Cute boutique hotel. You may recall from The Real World, this hotel was in an episode or 2. We arrived to our suite which was pretty clean, and spacious. Absolutely enjoyed it! Huge restroom, jacuzzi in the bedroom. Had a Seperate living room with a small white leather couch. The only problem we had was heating and air conditioning did not work.

We recently stayed at Rumor and loved the experience. Because this is an adult's only hotel, we did not have to deal with children, which is why we go to Vegas in the first place. The staff at Rumor is absolutely first class. The service is outstanding. The food is excellent. The rooms are very large and comfortable and quiet. This was a fun hotel. I thought my Jr. suite was pretty cool, but my brother's suite was off the chain...the bathroom has a shower with no doors & a sofa with a flat screen tv over it. Take your friends...you don't want to share this hotel alone.

Great hotel if you're in-couple. I felt a bit weird being solo. Hot tub next to the bed. Free porn. For couples, to be sure.

The lobby and outside areas are superbly decorated and very comfortable. They did an excellent job in updating the interiors of the rooms, but you can still tell it was a remodeled older building. It was nice having the triangle bathtub. Bring earplugs if you aren't planning on drinking and passing out, as flights take off/land right over you and it […] can be noisy. It's off the strip. Parking should be no problem. However, they decided to make all of the parking spot as valet, leaving about 15 to 20 spots for self park. Other than this, everything is great. Hotel is very trendy and new. Love the decor.

We had a great time at the hotel. The hotel rates online were cheaper than what we paid on hotels.com, so the front desk upgraded us at no additional charge.

This is definately a unique hotel. Very intimate and personal with lots pf style. The only negative was only one valet working on a saturday night but other than that, no complains at all. It is a very sexy hotel and highly recommend for a getaway with your wife/Girlfriend/ or partner. Great location, only a mile from the strip! The room and grounds were absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to go back. Although hotels.com stated this was an adult only hotel, that is actually not true. Also, all non smoking rooms.

This was a very pleasant stay - the room looked exactly as the website showed. We would totally stay there again. It was too cold to enjoy the pool in December, but we look forward to coming back when it's warm so we can. The staff was very helpful and made sure we were taken care of, including the valets who helped us hail a cab when we needed, in […] addition to getting our car when we were ready to leave. This room did not live up to the hype. The room was OK but nothing special. Not worth all the stupid fees they charge. Being an all adult hotel there are a lot of drunk and inconsiderate guests who scream outside your room at four in the morning. Valet is your only option so be prepared to fork out tips. Really a nice property, amazing job updating and remodeling it. However, it advertises as much more affordable than it turns out to be. BEWARE that the Hotel.com price DOES NOT INCLUDE pet fees or Las Vegas Resort fees. I phoned ahead of booking as was told it was a $25 pet fee. Even upon check-in they tell you that it's a $25 pet fee, but FAIL to tell […] you that's $25 per day. They only tell you about the "per day" fee at check out and they also tell you about the resort fees at check out. I phoned ahead and asked for a fridge in the room. They didn't actually bring the fridge to my room until after I checked in, and so I had to wait hours before the fridge was actually cool enough to use, completely defeating the purpose of having phoned ahead for a fridge. So, while it's a great property, their attention to detail leaves a bit to be desired. Mehr

We decided to stay here only because of location. We were attending a concert directly across the street and this was very convenient. With ultra modern decor, I loved it. Rooms are big with comfy beds. Can't wait to stay again in the summer time so we can spend time at the pool. Looking forward for the whole Rumor Experience. We stayed at this hotel the second weekend of November 2011 and were very happy with our stay. The hotel feels pretty new and I appreciated the design aesthetic: a lot of white laminate and leather. We were in town for a wedding and had no interest in gambling. We didn't want have to deal with the drunken loud gamblers and sensory overstimulation of a large casino hotel, so I was pleased to find the Rumor Boutique Hotel (the hotel name is a little embarrassing to tell people), right across the street from the Hard Rock and some useful shopping (liquor store, CVS, restaurants, etc), and a short drive to the strip. I was impressed with the furnishings, the lobby is very striking and the design and furniture inside our junior suite were very appealing. The couch and bed were clean and comfortable, the TV could be tilted at any angle so you could watch comfortably from anywhere in the room. However, there was no nightstand on one side of the bed, even though there was plenty of room for one, and the wall-mounted bedside lamps were really annoying to turn on and off from the bed. Most hotels these days have iPod docks, which this room lacked, though there was an alarm clock on the other side of the room from the bed. The only "desk" in the room is a rather thin console table and a rolling stool, but I couldn't get any WiFi reception when I sat there; in general the WiFi was awful, neither of us could stay online for more than a few minutes with decent reception. I don't think most people come to Vegas to get online on their computers, so I think this is a minor issue. The bathroom was lovely, some great wallpaper and striking tiling. Mehr

We decided to check out Rumors Boutique Hotel because of its location off the strip, the fact the rooms had patio's or balconies and we wanted something new. Traditionally when we stay off the strip for business in that area we stay at the Hard Rock. So we have noticed this property before and decided to check it out. We found some of the staff very […] friendly while others not so much. You will not get the white glove treatment by any means, but hey, you get what you pay for. The lobby is small and feels crowded, but has a hip and trendy vibe. We had a drink at the lobby bar but was shocked at the strip prices for a boutique off the strip hotel. Made my way to the room and enjoyed the peacefulness of the courtyard. Once again, a comfortable hip setting, but was void of people. Considering the hotel was close to being sold out, where was everyone? Finally made my way to my room where I had to navigate around the laundry carts in front of the hallway. They seemed to be a permanent fixture because the remained my entire stay. Room is decorated nicely, but the dark paint made the room feel cold and depressed. Bathroom was nice but small. Once again, not like a strip hotel room by any means. Shower looked nice until you stepped into it. No light and very little water pressure made it a not so enjoyable experience. Loved the patio and the ability to open the doors and let the fresh air into my room. The bed was very comfortable and felt the linens where a nice touch as well. Housekeeping did a nice job tidying up my room each day. All in all was a pleasant stay. Property has some potential but felt that management could step it up a bit and raise the service level somewhat. More smiles, less attitude, and more "how can I help you attitude" would be refreshing. Generally felt like it was just a job to these folks as opposed to professionals who make a living offering exceptional guest service.
