Spitzenaussicht aus der Hotellounge nur leider an manchen Tagen für Hotelgäste nicht zugänglich wegen privater Verantaltungen.

Etwas teuer - aber gut gelegen und guter Service - empfehlenswert für Stadtbesuch.

Top Lage, super Service. Zimmer sind langsam ein wenig abgenützt. Man hört sehr gut die Geräusche auf dem Gang. Ansonsten für diese Lage sehr ruhig. Gut schallisolierte Fenster.

Just returned from a stay at The Renaissance NY Times Square. There is not one negative thing that I can say about this hotel. It is a great location right in the middle of Times Square. Easy walk to theaters, shopping, subway, Central Park; very comfortable good-sized and quiet room, very pleasant staff, very helpful concierge, trendy happening lobby, […] great Times Square view from lobby bar, Grayline Tour bus pickup right in front of the hotel, etc. I could go on and on. The weather was unseasonably perfect as well - 40's to 50's during the day. This all made for an amazing NY trip! You can not go wrong with this hotel. Mehr

We arrived between Christmas and New Year's Eve and stayed for 4 nights. Our room was clean and the staff was nice and helpful when we needed advice on getting around the city. The restaurant was great and overlooked Times Square but our waitress was quite unpleasant. Also, the first night we stayed, I asked my husband to get a glass of wine for me […] at the hotel bar and to both of our surprise a plain glass of red wine was $23.00 plus tip! Really, it wasn't that great. But the hotel was located close to everything that we wanted to do and see and we would probably stay there again. Mehr

Excellent Hotel in the heart of Times Square good service. Have stayed here more than once. Only problem is the wifi NOT FREE after paying for your room which is not cheap, I feel this should be free at least for your stay. If starbucks can do it when you buy a coffee then I am sure a hotel can do it when booking a room.

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights while in New York City with our 6 year old and over exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed the short walking distances to Timesquare and all theaters nearby. We will come back soon

Very happy with our stay. This was our first visit to New York & my grandson recommended this hotel as he had stayed there twice previously and said we needed to stay where all the action is. He was right. Rooms clean and no noise on the 27th floor. Exrtemely handy to everything. Tours right outside door. Within walking distance to all major tourist […] destinations.Will stay here again. All of the staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay so pleasant. The view from the lounge of Time Square is breathtaking. The accommodations were exceptional, clean, neat and modern. We would strongly recommend the Renaissance.

The Hotel had excellent service and was very comfortable and clean. I was a bit disappointed because I thought I booked a room with two double beds, which was what I needed but when i checked in they told me they only had a room with a king. I would have booked a room at another hotel if I knew this was not going to be provided. Also, you could hear […] quite clearly conversations, etc. from the hallway even though the door to your room was closed. Mehr

The hotel is located in the center of New York. It is very easy to get to all the sights. The only thing I am not happy is the internet access which is quiet expensive at $15.00 per day. The manager is not very knowledgeable regarding travel time. I missed my flight due to his recommended taxi travel time.

Went with my 2 daughters - room very clean, the staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Our room overlooked Times Square and was exceptionally quiet. Would recommend highly. Great value, great staff

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The service was good, too. And ,the bar on the 3rd floor has a panoramic view of Times Square.

The hotel was very nice and all of the staff were extremely polite and accommodating. The room was a little tight as there wasn't adequate room for the arm chair. The bathroom was very spacious and the desk area with slide-put table were adequate. The window was small due to outside billboards covering the exterior of the building. My wife and I have found this hotel to be very convienent to the theatre district of New York. It has been and still is very clean (no problems with bed bugs). I did have a problem with the 16.85/day internet charge for access, and did think with the cost of the room that there should have been a little bit more included.. THis was fabulously well located hotel in the heart of the theater district with a dining room with one of the best views in New York. Staff was friendly and professional and it is a smaller hotel with great ambiance. We will definately return here!

We had lost the address of the function that we were going to and the front desk found it in 3 minutes. They were so pleasant and helpful!

There is absolutely nothing bad about this hotel but I have to say it didn't have the wow factor I was hoping for from a luxury hotel in Times Square. The room was nice and clean but I found the brown/tan motif to be pretty ugly. The lobby was disappointing. They did a great job of soundproofing the noise from Times Square but the walls between rooms […] were paper thin. We could hear our neighbors almost as though the wall wasn't there and if we had children staying with us, it could have made for quite the awkward situation. But I focused on the negative. Overall, it is a clean, upscale hotel in probably the perfect location. One tip: most people equate a higher floor with a nicer room. But in this hotel, if you go to a higher floor, you can't get the view of Times Square directly below. Mehr

Fanatastic location. The staff were execellent, we arrived early, they "pre-checked" us-in, stored our luggage and were very helpful. The room was great, exactly what we wanted, an upper floor on Times Square. We did not experience any issues with noise (but we were on the 8th floor.) Overall a very good experience, I would go back.

Staying in this hotel gives meaning to the saying "the city that never sleeps" since it is located in Times Square. However, the hotel is well insulated from the street noise, and one can sleep, if they want to. The hotel has a very modern,edgy decor.

Real nice hotel, right in Times Sqaure with easy access to the subway that takes you diretly to the Financial district.

I really enjoyed my stay. If I was to stay more then one night I would not of picked this hotel, because of personal price restraints. The location is great, you know the say "you get what you pay for".

I used to live in Manhattan for many years, and I always referred out-of-town guests to the Renaissance. It's restaurant and two upper-level piano bars with amazing floor-to-ceiling views of Times Square were the hotel's major drawing cards (other than its amazing location, especially for New Year's Eve). But, after a recent renovation, the hotel has […] replaced one of its bars with a conference space for private functions, and ruined the other by covering up its floor-to-ceiling windows/view of Times Square with curtains and the actual bar itself (I'm not kidding). They also leveled off the main restaurant's floor, so now the tables in the back find it harder to see the view of Times Square. Still, I'm being picky, I guess. The restaurant, renamed 2 Times Square (it used to be Foley's Fish House) is still way above average, and its view is still amazing, but why did they feel the need to fix something that wasn't broken? God knows, they spent a fortune redesigning the place, which used to be 4-star classic, but which is now ultra-modern with overwhelming artwork which has more than a hint of sexuality (the male and female forms are thinly veiled in dangling shapes from the ceiling and walls). I don't know who the interior designer was (or the hotel executives who OK'd the change), but they should be demoted. So, the bottom line? I'd still recommend the Renaissance just for its restaurant's view and the 4-star quality of its rooms, etc., but it's definitely slipped a notch or two from where it used to be, especially since there are other 4-star properties in Times Square for the same price which are ultra-modern cool, not ultra-modern lukewarm. Shame on you, Renaissance executives; why couldn't you simply leave well enough alone? Mehr

This hotel was recently remodelled and is absolutely beautiful. It is located in the middle of Times Square and is convenient to everything. The room was large and spacious for a room in New York.

situation parfaite, chambre agréable, personnel sympathique. Seul point négatif: mauvais rapport qualité / prix du petit déjeuner. Autant aller le prendre à times square.

Excelente localização. Excelente instalações e acomodações. O hotel nos oferece um design único, com peças de arte contemporânea. Possui uma vista magnífica da TIMES SQUARE no seu restaurante/american. O que tenho a lamentar foi a falta de informação na recepção sobre o funcionamento do minibar (frigobar). Ele possui um sensor que indica consumo quando […] se faz qualquer movimentação, aplicando-se uma taxação. Há uma sintética informação na parte interna do minibar, muito difícil de se identificar. Já no meu primeiro dia de estadia havia sete movimentações no minibar (frigobar). Mas foram providencialmente excluídas quando fiz a reclamação e nos providenciaram outro frigobar, sem qualquer custo adicional, para acondicionar nossas bebidas e alimentos. Muita atenção, é solicitado no check-in o seu cartão de crédito e de imediato é debitado 500 dólares a título de caução. Mas não nos foi informado que poderia ser em cash (em espécie, em dinheiro vivo). Ao final, no check-out,não havendo consumo de frigobar ou qualquer dano aos bens do hotel, o valor será devolvido. Fique atento também pois se houver consumo no restaurante do hotel e o hóspede apresentou no check-in o número do seu cartão, o valor do consumo será debitado do cartão, e será deduzido dos 500 dólares da caução inicial. São cuidados para não se surpreender. Mas no geral é tudo excelente neste hotel. Mehr

Ótimo atendimento. Localização central e conveniente. Quartos amplos e reformados. Recomendo.

Abbiamo soggiornato 6 notti in questo hotel. Ci siamo trovati bene. Stanza (2 letti matrimoniali) spaziosa e confortevole. Ottima la posizione per Times Square, i teatri di Broadway, i negozi della 5.th Ave, Central Park, ci spostavamo praticamente molto a piedi. Inoltre la metro è molto vicina. Nei dintorni ristoranti per tutti i gusti. Il personale […] dell'hotel è gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di lasciare i nostri bagagli fino al pomeriggio il giorno della partenza. L'unico neo la pulizia della stanza, abbastanza sommaria durante il nostro soggiorno. Altra pecca il costo della connessione internet in camera (16 $ al giorno). Mehr
