Würde jederzeit wieder das Hotel buchen!!!

das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigeren Seitenstrasse der Cromwell Road, welche direkt zu Harrods und in die Stadtmitte führt. Vorbei geht es dabei am National und am Albert Museum. Die Lage für Nahverkehr ist ebenfalls ideal. In der Richtung von der City weg kann man nach Kensington und- falls gut zu Fuss - nach Notting Hill kommen, wo man dann London ohne […] viele Touristen sehen kann! Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und auch - zumindest das Komfort-Zimmer - sehr geräumig mit einer guten Größe des Bettes (der Autor ist fast 2m groß!). Das Frühstücksbuffet (kontinental) ist reichlich, auf Wunsch gibt es gegen einen geringen Aufpreis auch warmes englisches Breakfast dazu. Alles in allem : sehr gutes Hotel, Empfehlung und Wiederkommen garantiert! Mehr

Wir waren mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer waren eher klein aber top ausgestattet. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht man schnell mit der nahegelegenen Stationen. Das Buffet war i.o.. Die Zimmer waren immer sauber und auch i.o. Alle Angestellten waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Quiet, very clean rooms. Faultless

Booked this hotel based on many + reviews. A bit of mixed feelings about the hotel after our 4 night stay. The pros - friendly staff, hotel located in a nice neighbourhood with approximately 5 minutes walk to Earl's Court Underground, good selection of cold cuts and bakery for breakfast (the croissant is especially tasty). The cons - small room (standard […] double located on G/F), water leaking from corner of plastic screen that only shields shower water by half in bathtub, free wifi in lobby which did not work for most time, It is a great hotel with room for improvements. Myself and my daughter stayed in the Parkcity Hotel in London last week and had a great time. The Hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff were helpful and the location is perfect

Overall, we loved our stay at the Parkcity London, and the next time we're in town we will most likely stay there again. The highlights of our stay were the incredibly comfortable bed, the luxurious showerhead, and the included breakfast each morning. The restaurant staff was always very kind and polite. I'm glad there was a hair dryer in our room […] because mine wouldn't plug in all of the way with our adapter. We also loved the fact that our basic room had a small fridge - bonus! Downsides? The sullen front desk clerk who checked us in and worked almost every day we were there. (Other front desk employees we met and talked to were nice, just not this guy!) He never once smiled or went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. On our last night we needed to use the wireless internet access in the lobby (our iPad would not work in our room), and the lobby was completely full with people having a reception of some sort -- so I stood by the door so I could get a signal. We needed to check into our flights the following morning, so it was definitely necessary that we get online. The next thing I know, the sullen front desk clerk is telling me to move. He wanted me to sit in a chair away from the lobby, which I had already tried first and the signal didn't reach. So then he told me to sit in the bar. I didn't think the signal would reach that far but he said it would, so I went and sat in the bar. I wasn't too happy, I admit. He followed me and said, "What do you want me to do, ask these people to leave?" It would have been better if he'd just went back to the desk. I was shocked. That wasn't what I had wanted at all! I just wasn't aware that I needed to reserve a spot in the lobby to check our flights! We were guests of the hotel, too -- not just these reception people. We had just as much as a right to be in the lobby as they did! I was surprised that they didn't put the group of people down in the restaurant for their reception. The whole thing was just Mehr

The Parkcity Hotel in London is great! Our double room was spacious, continental breakfast was more than plentiful, and the hotel is easily accessible via the London tube and bus systems. Staff members were all very helpful, and other guests were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurant suggestions. Not very close to tube, but not far. Location was average. Could be closer to certain city sites for first timers to London. They should also have wifi in the rooms, not just in lobby. Included breakfast was very good. Good size room.

The only issue we were disappointed with is the fact that the front desk did not have any London maps. The first day we asked they had run out, and still had none the second day. Everything else was very good.

while looking for a place to stay in london online i was a little hesitant at first with the park city, only because i was not familiar with the kensington area, because i one lived in the more posh area of bloomsbury, well was i snob! Upon our arrival the staff was helpful and friendly, not only did we get there early to receive a free upgrade but […] they held our luggage happily until our room was available. the closest tube stop in only about 2 blocks away which makes easier than ever to op around the city the main lines that run through Gloucester road are the district and circle lines which hook right up to westminster, parliament and all the main attractions easily without to many changes. Our room was quite spacious and more than comfortable free wifi in the room that hooked right up to the computer so you do not have to try and get it from the lobby, and the neighbor was right off the main street so you werent bothered by heavy traffic noises. The complimentry breakfast was more than enough greeted again by friendly faces and had an abundance of fresh fruit, cereals, breads, meats and cheeses, no reason to go out and spend pounds when this is at the bottom of your hotel!! when we were finally ready to pack up and leave we called down stairs to get us a taxi to take us to the train station and they assured us they would take care of it and to our delight we had a mercedes at a fixed price of only 26 pounds take us had we gone with the taxi the meter would have sky rocketed with all the traffic. overall there wasnt a single thing about the park city we could possible complain out, this place is perfect and the prices are unbeatable in such an expensive town, whenever i am able to travel back to london i will never hesitate to make my reservations here! The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Note that WIFI is available in the lobby, but not in the hotel rooms (for the iPad users out there.) The street is very quiet, which is great. Good restaurants are a few blocks away, but worth the walk. Very convenient to museums.

Wonderful little 4-star with most luxury amenities in a beautiful, residential Kensington neighborhood. Easy access to South Ken, Knightsbridge, tube, etc. Note: - There is no wireless internet access available from the room

Stayed at the Park City in Dec 2010 for 2 nights in a deluxe room. Have to say that, apart from Hotel 41, which we've been lucky enough to visit in the past, this is the nicest place we've stayed at in London. The room (208) was very large by London standards. The decor is very modern. The bathroom was great, excellent shower. The king size bed was […] extremely comfortable. Common areas were small (it's only a small hotel after all) but very cosy. Again very contemporary decor. Staff very polite and helpful. The location is superb if you're looking to visit the Natural history, Science or V&A museums, which are only a 10-15 walk away. Gloucester Rd tube station was a short 5 min walk. All in all, difficult to fault. It was so nice that you looked forward to going back there at the end of the day. Would go back tomorrow. Mehr

A real find of a Hotel. The appartment facilities were an unexpected surprise.

We stayed three nights at the Park City Hotel in Lexham Gardens. The location is very decent. It's on a quiet street amongst some grand London housing just off Cromwell road. It's about a 5-7 mins walk to Gloucester Road tube station, which connects to the Central, District and Piccadilly lines - very handy. Our room was next to the lift on the third […] floor which was quite noisy. Take ear plugs just in case. This was our only negative point. The room itself was basic but very clean and served our needs for the stay. The bathroom was very clean and modern with an excellent shower. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel if you're not on a tight budget. I will be using them again in December. Mehr

The hotel was just lovely. There was some miscommunication about payment and other trivial issues that kept popping up, but overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. Two reservations: there were problems with the WiFi. I was told it was availabe in the room, but that wasn't the case. Thankfully the solution was easy, the front desk had an ethernet […] cord available. But just a heads up. The other reservation is that it isn't, by American standards, convenient to an Underground stop. Either option is several blocks away. This allows for the hotel to be a quiet, neighborhood setting, but walking to the Tube is something you'll have to get used to. A very nice experience overall. Thanks! Mehr

Hotel is in a very convenient location to the tube. It was modern, clean and staff were very helpful and keen to please. On arrival I found the room had an air conditioning unit outside the window. I was moved immediately to a very nice room without problem. I would stay again and recommend this hotel. Good value through hotels.com too.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Parkcity Hotel. Our room was larger than we expected (we booked a standard room) and was very clean. The gentleman in the bar was extremely friendly. We would use this hotel again, providing we could get the same, or similar deal. We did not pay full price

A great location in London. Hotel had an old fascade with comfortable modern rooms. Good service and amenities for a small boutique style hotel. Would definitely stay again and recommend to someone else. Hotels had the best rates at a substantial discount to the posted rack rate. Thanks for making my trip to London a little affordable!!

Couldnt fault this hotel at all, receptionists were very pleasant and welcoming, room was spotless and very comfortable. Will stay in this hotel again

This is a great hotel with everything you need, comfy linens and nice toiletries, close to gloucester Tube, nice staff - I's definitely stay there again

Just returned from a 3 day trip to the Prk City. I would recommend this Hotel. It is very clean, fresh and comfortable. The service was also very good. Location i s perfect , very close to tube station etc. When I first arrived some little issues irked ...no slippers , one set of shower gel etc in a double room, but this was rectified without hesitation. […] I found it expensive but worth it. Overall the hotel was clean and very comfortable, BUT we did have some disappointing experiences: 1) the front desk staff was NOT KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT LONDON nor how to find "common" things such as rail schedules or tour bus maps (i.e. they were unable to find out where we needed to catch a train from London to Cambridge), 2) both the cable and wireless […] internet were not working (tried to use it on two different computers so it wasn't a technical problem on our end), 3) breakfast was not included with the price we were quoted on this website, 4) they didn't know where some local restaurants were (i.e. we asked where the closest Italian restaurant was and they gave us directions to one that was about 15 min walk away from the hotel when there was one 2 blocks down the street), 5) when we asked them for a facecloth/washcloth they gave us another hand towel. We had these issues with BOTH the day and evening staff, so this evaluation is more general to the hotel rather than pertaining to a specific individual. Mehr

The rooms are large, light and airy. All interiors are superbly designed. The décor of the hotel is light and airy. The staff are very attentive. Breakfast choice is good and fresh. A very quiet location but at the same time not too far from the tube.

Through hotels.com, we got our room for about 1/3 the normal rate for this hotel. Although we had a very good experience, we would have never-ever paid full price for this room. The location of the hotel, in South Kensington was extremely convenient. It is a quick walk to two different tube stations, to the V and A, The Natural History Museum and to […] Kensington Park. We could catch a double decker (#74)to Harrod's, just a few minutes away. The room was very clean, nice furnishings Flatscreen TV,and a really lush, modern bathroom. The room was, however, very small, barely room to walk between the bed and the wall. We were on the third floor and the room was pretty hot in May, even with the AC on high. I can imagine that it might have been unbearable during a really hot month. Perhaps the hotel was under new management because, although the staff was very polite and eager to please, they seemed to be figuring things out as they went. There seemed to be no seasoned, experienced persons on staff. No routine or SOP. The hotel charges a lot extra for breakfast and for internet access. We chose to use the free internet at a coffee shop on the corner near the hotel instead. There is a restaurant and bar at the hotel. We ordered room service once, late at night and the food was terrible. Otherwise, we didn't eat there. On the whole I would highly recommend this hotel if you can get it for a reasonable rate. Request a room NOT on the top floor if you'll be there in a warmer month. Mehr

We splurged on a superior double for our last two days in London. A little expensive for us due to the current exchange rate but worth it. Check in was easy and courteous and the room was lovely. We even could open windows for fresh air. The street is quiet and there was no problem with traffic noise. We did find the hallway on our floor to be exceedingly […] warm but the room temperature was fine. We opted not to take the breakfast as it was too pricey at 15 pounds each ($22.50) at the current exchange rate. Be aware that there is a charge for wifi or broadband. I can not say enough great things about this hotel and the staff. I am very picky and was worried about not staying at a known chain. Nothing to worry about here. They were first class all the way. The staff was so friendly and accomodating. The rooms were beautiful and very much exceeded what I expected. The bathroom was beautiful, bed was comfortable, […] decent TV options. The hotel was nice and quiet and in such a quaint neighborhood. It is very conveniently located to walk to several eating places, grocery store, internet cafe, etc. Also, if you have a need for a cab, the front desk will arrange a car ride. We did this for a show and had a nice mercedez pick us up for the same price as the black cabs in the city. The staff also knew everything there was to know about the local attrations in case you need to ask questions. You can not beat the price for the quality of this hotel. I would definitely stay again! Et fantastisk hotel - god service - morgenmaden er rigtig rigtig god - flotte værelser - fin beliggenhed, 10 min fra undergrunden (Piccadeli Line) i et godt og roligt kvarter. - Når vi tager til London igen vælger vi helt sikkert dette hotel igen.

レセプションのスタッフは丁寧で愛想が良く、またバスタブの栓が壊れていると伝えるとすぐに対応してくれて良い感じでした。一人での宿泊でしたが部屋は広く清潔ですがエアコンのききが悪く少し寒い部屋でした。部屋までの通路も複雑で迷路のようでしたがセキュリティはしっかりしていました。ピカデリー線駅に近く立地は良いのでまた利用したいと思います。

Pessoal da recepção muito atencioso. Limpeza do quarto muito boa. Local siliencioso, mesmo de frente para a rua. Tansporte muito fácil. Atendeu a todas as expectativas.

Fantastisk personal som var väldigt serviceminded. Var absolut det bästa 4-stjärniga hotell vi bott på i London och då har vi bott på ett antal innan.
