Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Madison West/Middleton - Middleton

Heater kept resetting itself to blow hot air even when we had it set at 62. Room was extremely warm the entire time there.

This hotel was very clean and very quite. The service was great and the Breakfast was even better. The view of the pond with the wildlife in it was very relaxing with the morning coffee. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I come down for UW football games.

The staff were over the top awesome they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and everything that we needed. We will be staying there several times during the year when we are in Madison on Business. Thank you to your wonderful caring staff.

Good for the price. Modern decore. Clean....very important. Breakfast was good. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Cons....small room. Noise from hall and mechanicals was pronounced.

We got the last room, a king handicap room on the 2nd floor. The hotel was full and yet it was quiet so we had a good sleep. Breakfast was mediocre, but was something to eat. Was not set up very strategically, like plates were in a corner and a person had to reach over anyone using the waffle machine to get them. Overall, it was a nice, clean, hotel. The room was standard. I didn't get down to the pool or fitness room. Breakfast looked good, but I was too busy to eat. The only downfall was my room overlooked a Denny's parking lot. I was testing the next morning, and I was woken up frequently because of the noise. Very nicely decorated, clean and very comfortable. Really as expected. Very nice Continental breakfast (stay away from the breakfast quiche - it does not microwave well). There was a very nice selection, and the fruit and bagels were fresh. I did not have the waffle, but you can make your own. Enjoy your stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We were in town for the Haunted Hustle Marathon and found the location to be extremely convenient (we were able to walk to the start/finish line and had numerous resteraunts within walking distance as well). The kids loved swimming in the pool and the hotel staff was beyond friendly! Marie (housekeeping) and Gina […] (front desk) were so much fun to talk to. The rooms were very quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel has recently updated rooms, and was a good value for the rate charged. And, the location was excellent as it was convenient to the city's beltway highway, as well as the Greenway Commons shopping area adjacent to the hotel property.

We could not have been more pleased with this hotel! We will definitely be staying here for all future trips to the Madison area. Our room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, well appointed, quiet and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable (a welcome departure from most other hotel beds). This hotel definitely goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. From the clean, child-safe pool area to the willingness of the staff to assist with a myriad of requests, this is a hotel in which to stay.

It was very nice.

clean room, great service, excellent variety for free breakfast wish the beds were queens instead of doubles, but no complaints otherwise

This was the first time we stayed at the Fairfield Inn. We went with other family members and reserved 2 rooms both with double beds. We found both the rooms and the hotel to be very neat and clean and the staff very cheery and friendly. There were plenty of parking spaces available and several restaurants within walking distance. Our two night stay was very enjoyable. The breakfast was very satisfying, the bed was comfortable, we had terrific internet service, and we took advantage of the exercise room and the hot tub. The room had a nice flat screen TV. On the 2nd night there were some loud talking guests in the next room and the voices really carried through the vent in the […] bathroom. So you may want to shut the bathroom door and also not say anything in there you don't want others to hear. All of the staff that we met were friendly and helpful. This property was very fresh and clean. It appeared to be new and the staff worked hard to make sure everything was as it should be. The breakfast room became crowded in the morning and the manager opened a conference room to accommodate the overflow.
